Old Mountain Lanes Bowling Alley restaurant was not our first choice today but one was closed and the other had a heating problem. WOW - we were so LUCKY to end up here for lunch with family. Food, wait staff and atmosphere were all wonderful! Our group ran the gamut from me - eating plant based whole food low fat to our friend who got the Nachos Grande plate. Old Mountain Lanes is a hidden gem in southern Rhode Island. We had an outing there for a parks association meeting and we had a great time. This was the second time we have been there. Great place to bowl of course, but they have a great diner and a bar area. The pizza we had was very good, and others in my group said they had pretty good food there. Love old mountain lanes. I have worked there a few times and had a blast working in the kitchen cooking. The changes that have been made are amazing now that they have an arcade for the kiddos. The food is amazing as always this is a must go if your in the area.

Just was quieter than recent past when I had to work sad to say making me miss the Special Olympics bowling. The other day I went to church to usher at Warwick Hope Assembly of God which I did. I only had briefly as many others looked to also assist in ushering. Might?ve been not my assigned week, but usher regularly without request to help. Can't help myself in wanting to serve.

Fantastic hosts of the RI SUMMER GAMES SPECIAL OLYMPICS BOWLING!!! Phenomenal hosts for many years now, cannot thank this facility enough for accommodating all of these amazing athletes!

Me and my family found out about this bowling alley through a classmate of my sons birthday party and have made it our go to bowling alley. Very fairly priced and has alot more to offer than just bowling. Including games, a restaurant and a whole separate bar section.

I wanted to give the place a 5 for being a good value for family fun, but there were a couple things. The positive stuff, the place has great lanes, games, a coffee place, and appears well maintained. It has games and bumpers for children. The balls return pretty quickly and there were a lot of choices. The negative stuff, first I have is that the time to bowl starts after you register, not when you start bowling. Fresh, well prepared, local cuisine with a hometown flare. Upbeat vibe in the coffee shop. Breakfast served all day, including mimosas. It's very likely you will bump into someone you know. A definite must visit.

I'm not usually one to write restaurant reviews, but the takeout meal I grabbed from the cafe at Old Mountain Lanes on the way home from a jam in Narragansett deserves some virtual ink. The meal? Fish and chips. The verdict? This was the finest takeout dinner I have ever had, in my life. The servers were friendly and the meal came out quickly. It is only a five minute ride to our house, and I still had to feed the dogs, so I worried that the fries might cool down too much. Did I eat a few on the ride home?

I love the facility. It is much bigger than it looks on the outside. The food is great, the staff is excellent! I go every Thursday and enjoy it every time I go.

It was a 3 generation family night out couldn't have asked for a better way to spend this special day!

The outside of the building is deceptive. It looks like you've gone to the wrong address. It's small outside but when you enter you're greeted with a large bright open building. When I was there they were hosting the Special Olympics which is very kind. The employees were kind and helpful. Everyone had a great time and they all did their very best!

My son and I were both very unhappy with the lane. We felt like we were bowling on duck pin lanes with no oil. Every ball that we brought and use at multiple different bowling establishments reacted horribly. Maybe we just went on a bad day or time but we were the first people on the lane when they opened so it should have been fresh oil just seemed as though there was no oil at all.

Wonderful staff all around! Great comfort food choices, & appealing specials at a very fair price no matter breakfast, lunch, or dinner! The lanes are very well maintained (perhaps even a smidgen too much oil depending on your style)

These folks are great. Had my wife?s 50th Birthday Party here. The support was top notch. They were always making sure we were happy. The food is awesome! You must order the meatballs. And the bowling is always great. It's a really affordable deal for old fashioned family fun!

This was my first time here. Went to watch family bowl. Didn't have anything to eat. They do have two different restaurants plus a bar. One is a diner the food look good.

I grew up bowling at Old Mountain Lanes and had not been there 2014; I happened to be in the area and wanted to see if there were any changes and it was eye opening. The renovations really brought this family friendly establishment into the 21st century. Their are more arcade games compared to what we had in the 70's and 80's, the diner had a bit of an upgrade and Camden's was extremely busy. Was also happy to hear the Toth family still owns it. Usually great, but today I had to step out to take a call and the waitress took my food - not one bite yet taken! So left hungry but the rest of my table enjoyed their food.

We had a great time. So happy we stumbled into the Sunday evening deal: $11 per person for shoes and two hours of bowling! We had a great time. Staff was friendly and helpful. Atmosphere was good and space was clean.

This place has DELICIOUS food! OMGOSH you need to go and try the clam chowder! We also had a delicious Lobster Roll! All the food is homemade. Real home cooking.

Was in Wakefield today taking care of a couple things and decided to grab a quick bite at the Coffee Shop inside Old Mountain Lanes. I was immediately greeted by Emily, the hostess, and was seated. She recommended the grilled cheese burger, so I took her up on the suggestion. My meal was served quickly and to top it all off, the burger was absolutely delicious! Giving 2 stars based on the arcade only. We didn't bowl. We went for the arcade, specifically for air hockey and pool. Air hockey table was broken and they don't have pool tables. Kids prizes from ticket games were terrible and limited. Arcade game prices were too high and many broken. I'd give a much higher rating if we had bowled as that really is their bread and butter but if you have an arcade it should count. Staff was friendly and fun though.

I come here with work and during my free time. The current staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I have friends who bowl in the leagues here and they really enjoy them. There's always specials going on for holidays, or just because it's sunny out! A great place to grab a quick bite to eat for any meal.

Old Mountain Lanes recently hosted a bowling party for 30 girls between the ages of 7-12 and the event was so fun! The facility is very clean, the business well-run, the event was very easy to book online and the rates are very reasonable. Chris behind the bowling desk is the best and is totally on top of things. You want an old school experience with New Wave technology come on down to Old Mountain Lanes. Make sure you call and check because there's a lot of leagues going on so you want to make sure that there's an open Lane for you and your party. We love going here it's one of our favorite places

Great college nights. Unlimited bowling for only $16. Sometimes is very crowded but you'd expect that being near a university. The staff is very friendly as well. They do a special past 10PM where they put an orange pin and if you roll a strike while it's the front pin then you get a free bowling night for one. Would recommend to anyone that likes to bowl and listen to pop music.

Nice place and love the vintage look. But why it didn't get 5 stars is because there is no way to recycle the pins. Every game I got a spare in 10th frame and then after your last bowl you cant recycle the pins without having to have the guy at the counter do it....then he starts copping an attitude.

Great place to bowl, and fast pin turnaround, BUT the manager was extremely obnoxious. I walked up to the counter with 3 friends, credit card in hand, and he straight up ignored us for 2 straight minutes, chirping some group of people who were bowling. They weren't even responding to him. It was bizarre. Great bowling place, some newer technology to set bumpers per player, edit scores. There is some disconnect between the technology and what is actually happening on the lane being out of sync, the panel thinks it's a fresh frame and the lane thinks it's a bowlers second turn. One of those rare "old home town" finds! With a full bowling alley, kids bowl free on school vacations (1 string/child per day). There is a breakfast and luncheonette in the alley itself and a family restaurant next door (Camden's). Pricing is very reasonable. Service is excellent. Parking is free.

Good alley, bowling computers are very modern. They have games and a connected bar/restaurant. We bought an hour and ran over on the last two frames, but the staff was very helpful and let us finish. They have quite a few lighter balls for kids, and also little ramps if they are too little too bowl regular. Place is in good shape, better than most alleys I've been to.

Old Mountain Lanes has been a family favorite for a long time because of the staff who are super helpful, the cleanliness of the facility, and the overall welcoming atmosphere. It was your typical bowling alley, busy, loud, but it was a lot of fun. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was because it took over an hour to get my food that I had ordered

Absolutely amazing. I will gladly blow half of my net-worth on this bowling alley. A bad day bowling at this alley is still a good day. It's nice when it's empty too so I can be as hyped up as I want when I'm with my friends. The bar that is there is also A1, the bartender, Dani is an absolute legend. Everything was great except a guy behind the counter was extremely rude, he was careless and screaming at me and my 8 year old friend to hurry up and choose while there was no line. Otherwise everything was good except that man!

Good food, good drinks. Front desk seems to pick favorites, when trying to get a lane for rock and bowl being a 1/2 hour early 830 we asked when sign ups start for lanes. Front desk tells me 9pm. we wait, 9pm and a line starts , then they proceed to call names. Turns out there was a list to get on they failed to tell us about. Clean venue, friendly staff, and good food. There isn't much that separates bowling allies from one another, but bowling is certainly an enjoyable pastime. Inexpensive rental fees makes this place good for just about anyone.

Old Mountain Lanes has been a mainstay in the town of Wakefield. It has always been a place for friends to gather to enjoy some rounds of bowling. I had not been in the alley since renovations had been completed and I am happy to say they have really stepped it up! The alley itself looks great and they have updated their electronic scoring systems as well as the arcade games. First off I would like to say that this place is an amazing hangout spot for anybody! There is bowling; obviously but it is a bit expensive for one game especially show rental. But there is arcade games where you can earn points and redeem for prizes. And inside there is a cute little diner where you can order to eat while you are bowling or go inside and dine there. Overall this place is amazing and my into complaint is that shoe rental is expensive ($8)
