We had an absolute blast at Octane in Scottsdale! Our whole management team came out for a little team bonding, and it couldn't have been more fun. From start to finish, the energy, the staff, and the experience were top-tier. It was the perfect mix of adrenaline and laughter?definitely a memory-maker. Octane Raceway is an absolute blast! This place is awesome. There is so much to do here - from go-kart racing, axe throwing, a virtual reality arena, an arcade, plus a full bar and kitchen as well. If I lived in Scottsdale I would be here everyday. Staff is very efficient and friendly. Very clean environment that is welcoming to all groups. Carts are very well maintained and track is very clean as well.

This is a huge place that has so much potential if it was managed better! The race track could have been fun, however the kids that work there just let there friends and girlfriend drive over and over and then they continuously bump you and run you into the walls on the track. Incredibly fun track, and challenging. The karts are in great condition, never felt disadvantaged, even starting at the back. The staff was friendly while prioritizing efficiency and safety. Matt kept the groups moving along with gusto, big kudos to that guy. Everyone else was on point, as well. The whole experience was 100% awesome, and I'll definitely be coming back!

My son and his friends had fun. 4 teens cost $150 on a Saturday. The race car lasted about 12 minutes Wish it was a little longer for the price but I understand how it works.. If you follow me. It is a little pricey, but totally worth it. If your child meets the height requirements and qualify under a certain time in the "JR" carts, they can race the "adult" carts. Which my 14-year-old daughter was able to qualify to race the adult carts. Needless to say, we had a blast. I got to experience the high speed electric go carts here and it was a great experience. When I say ? high speed? that is exactly what I mean. It will throw you back in your seat. We also did the axe throwing for an hour and arcades. We had a great time with everything.

Was a little frustrating when the entirety of our race(s) we were asked to ?move over? for the insanely fast & incredibly dangerous drivers. There were too many of them on the track to safely avoid even ?moving over?. The way they were driving was shocking. Octane Racing was an absolute blast. I've only ever used gas-powered go-karts before, so the electric ones were a new experience for me. But like anyone that drives an electric car knows, they're fast, responsive, and so much fun. The track itself was exciting and well-designed, totally worth the price. We joined friends here for an early afternoon into evening action packed fun ? fun ? fun memorable competitive racing excursion. Ah yes, Justin ? we won the bet & all drinks on your tab buddy! I'm very disappointed with the fact that they double charged my debit card I had an overdraft fee accidents happen I understand that but I tried emailing I left a message and no one has returned my call and I am still in limbo because it is pending and I am a single father with limited resources and could barely afford to take my kids go-karting as it is I understand things happen but the fact that nobody can get back to me or address this is very disappointing

This place was so fun. Decor made from the hoods of racecars hung from the ceiling and walls. The seats were made from tire rims. It is a very emersive environment. They sanitize the helmets very well in between races. The race cars are electric and the track winds inside and outside with plenty of viewing places.

Took my 16 year old son here for his birthday. Loved the high speed go karts. We did several races, each time we only got 13 laps instead of 14, due to ?staff? racing against us (on their off days). They were obviously expert drivers and whipped everyone else, but they weren't mean or bumped us out of the way. We talked to th afterwards and they were friendly. 4 stars instead of 5 because they were there all day, I think when staff rides they shouldn't count their laps so we get what we paid for. Just completed the VR experience with my two boys. Ton of fun, totally interactive and enjoyable. While we all agree it's on the pricey side, it's worth it. Highly memorable experience for all of us.

This place isn't just for kids. We went on an adult triple date and it was so fun. There was something for everyone. Huge TVs, food, several bars, adult and family friendly.

I had an event here. The planner and manager are very friendly and nice. Would recommend for any larger event. Quick fast friendly service. The arcade is nice , but the go karts are nicer. Fun for everyone, and the little print of the times after the games are a nice touch too

We came here for the first time and did three adult races and a VR experience. The races were a blast, and the zombie survival vr was awesome. The staff was super helpful and accommodating. After all the fun, we sat in the bar and ordered an alley sampler, and had some lemonades. The bar tender was awesome, too. Seems like all of the employees enjoy working there because it shows in their customer service. We will definitely be back to this place. I just wish there was one in Tucson because we would come

Had a great time here! Visited on a Monday afternoon and we were able to race amongst just ourselves which was a pleasant surprise - especially given we were new to it so I was a bit nervous! The staff was really wonderful I have to say. Check in staff was helpful, set up staff was friendly and helpful. Wish the prices were a bit more approachable - but really had a great time so def recommend checking it out if you want an adrenaline rush!

Been a titanium member for a long time. Place is hit or miss. Pricing has significantly increased making this a much harder to fund activity. Most recent tournament experience was awful. Called 3 times on different days and no one picked up or returned my call. Website is awful and out of date. The VR experience is really cool and the track itself is nice. Customer service side has just tanked lately.

Karts and track were fun fast and zippy. Score card machine was down. Otherwise it's close to a K1 racing

Fun! The trick is to hold back out of the pack to get the best time. Staff does that thing that young people today do of directing you to a tablet instead of actually helping you. Super annoying. The guy running the track was fun and helpful though.

First I want to say the staff was very courteous and helpful. However, if you're coming for a casual date night and trying something new, I wouldn't recommend this. My wife and I got stuck with a bunch of guys who clearly take go-karting a bit too serious and kind of brought down the experience for my wife and I. Probably won't come back. Clean facilities and great staff though.

My son had such a great time racing go-karts. It was his second time and he is so excited to brag to his friends that for one of the races he came in first place and got to pose with the trophy

Great little indoor go cart track. As a youth you will want to try and qualify to run as an adult through a simple process and a couple of races. Adult qualification gets you quicker cart and a few more laps per race.

This was a cool team building place. We got some good lunch, did some axe throwing and arcade while waiting for our lineup. Short wait and they get you into a go-cart and ready to go. The track is fast paced, if a little clogged. Good turns and straightaways. Helpful staff too.

I've been wanting to come visit since I first found out about it. They have one race, two race, and three race plans. Cars were on point. Sadly when it came to racing, the employees did not enforce rules. Slower cars were not flagged or instructed to move. Other cars kept crashing into you and nothing was said to them. It was fun, but frustrating having your times ruined by bad drivers that didn't get warned even once.

We go for the Axe Throwing! It's a ton of fun for a date night! An hour of axe throwing, some delicious and reasonably priced drinks and snacks, friendly staff. It's always a good time!

We went for my husbands birthday and purchased 3 races each for a party of 5. There were people who work there racing as well as others who obviously go there all the time. These people bump in to you constantly and have no consideration for others. We participated in the Virtual Reality. It was the most incredible experience we ever did and I highly recommend it. It was amazing and well worth the money and want to do again.

We spent a couple of hours at this place and had a lot of fun. The regular races allow you to go pretty fast and you actually do need some driving skills to go around the track without crashing in to the walls or the other drivers. I do have two issues. During our time there, there were 3-4 participants who knew each other and they would pretty much block everyone else so their friend ahead of the pack can set lap times. I did eventually put one of them into the wall, but that resulted in the others to do

extremely overpriced, unprofessional and rude staff, a bunch of teenagers horsing around instead of properly doing their jobs, and the track itself is boring. Try Andretti karting instead, a significantly better experience with amazing tracks.

Took my niece for a day out and she had so much fun! The arcade is kind of small but the races are really cool. Plus all the food and drink smells amazing... A little pricey but if you like to go fast this is the place to go.

It was a decent place. Chill atmosphere decent crowd. I like that they had food and drinks. My drink didn't taste the best but it packed a little kick so that made up for the lack of flavor. I appreciate they don't allow anyone to drive if they have had more than 2 drinks and mark the bands. We had a nice time. The inside race track was a good size and length with misters on the outside section. Axe throwing looks coop and a little more challenging that possibly anticipated.

I have recently become a "Titanium Member" at Octane Raceway in Scottsdale. I have not taken advantage of the VR activities, arcade games, or axe throwing because I'm only there for go-karting. So, my comments are related only to the karting activities. Being retired, I have the luxury of being able to visit Octane mostly on weekday afternoons. My experience with that has been outstanding every time. I think that the management has done a great job building a team of young folks who seem to really enjoy

Really cool place. The go karts are fun, the axe throwing is meh... The organization could have been better - we were a big group and could have had someone to direct us and we could have enjoyed better. The food buffet was really scarce for the price we paid. We had fun and really enjoyed our time though. The customer service was really good. I would recommend!

Awesome place for the kids & adults that like racing. The downside is when inexperienced kids race they'll crash into you, not knowing how to use the brakes. Staff was fantastic and EXTREMELY nice! The go-kart racing and axe throwing was a blast! Although I stunk, I really liked that the axe throwing had a digital projector to play different games - it was not as ?hillbilly? as other places that have axe throwing - and also seemed much safer

I had my son's 10th birthday party here a couple years ago. Everyone enjoyed themselves! Especially the go carts. There's something for everyone to do with the arcade as well.

Cool indoor racing. They seem very organized. A little pricey but my 17 yo was happy (picture doesn't show it, but you know how kids are).

Go early and book online. My son and I had a great time it is not a every week thing for us. But a great deal of fun. Cost is what keeps me from putting another star, but that is not a knock on Octane racing it is just not a cheep date thing.

Friendly staff, clean facility and quick service. They have a restraunt, bar, out door seating area, bowling alley, game zone and the car racetrack. It's a indoor/half kinda outdoor race track. Highly recommend for a family. My kids are 16, 14, and 9. All had a blast. My 9yr old was a little nervous but the guys on the track gave him great instruction and he loved it!!

Great place to take a group of friends for a fun night out! The karts are quick and the track is cool. It's definitely best when both inside and outside are open so try to go when the weather is nice.

Races are about 14 laps long at about 30 seconds a lap. The track is quick. Cars are fast enough to be enjoyable. The course is designed to encourage braking, however braking is letting up early along with a little counter steering allows for the best lap times. The bar and grill is pretty straightforward with a decent selection of beverages. Overall the staff is knowledgeable, friendly and pretty upbeat. Great all around experience????????

Awesome, pure awesomeness! Go carts go up to 45 mph for adults and up to 25 mph for youth races (under 16). Really great time and they gave me free race on my birthday! Thanks so much for your hospitality and time to educate me and my teens on how to get the most of our go cart experience. Highly recommend using the seat pads to minimize back pain while driving car. Will be back soon for fall break ...can't wait!

This was fun, but it would have been more fun without the two ?professional? racers. These two guys had no problem ramming into people and the walls. Everyone else got a flag for barely bumping people because we weren't as skilled, but these two were allowed to just run the track and break all the rules. They obviously come here often and are allowed to get away with whatever they want. Maybe ownership should consider giving them their own time so other paying customers can have just as much fun competing

Karts are nice and good track but seems like races are never on time anymore. Why book ahead online and show up to wait an extra 45 min for the time you booked

This place is where it's at! Best Karting experience i've had between any K1 Speed or Pole Position location. The staff are attentive and unlike most tracks, the race marshalls are actually paying attention and using their signs (although i'd like to see the move over sign used more often, especially when someone is outpacing the field by a full second a lap...) there was a 50 minute wait for our race but we checked out the facility and it seems very well run and organized!
