The bowling was fun, went here for father's day but be cautious. I opened a tab at the bar and was there when they shut the bar/ restaurant down. But here's the kicker. They closed out my tab and added their own tip. Didn't ask me just added 25% for themselves. I had to actually ask for my debit card back and when I asked for a receipt the bartender gave me a weird look and then said I cannot print your receipt because I already closed out my register. When I asked to see my bill or receipt she went to the
This was our first time here. We thought it was pretty nice inside. The arcade wasn't as big as we thought it was going to be, but it was still fun. Good variety of games. We also did bowling. The lanes are nice and clean. We ordered some food. Now, we believe the food was a bit overpriced, but the food was pretty good. The two kids ordered chicken strips, and I just ordered Sliders from the kids menu. Lol yes I ordered from the kids menu. Mainly because I was curious. The food was good, even on the kids me
First time attending Oceans5!! Impressed is an understatement, to say the least! Restaurants that are stunning. It has an arcade that's pretty cool with laser tag. We went for my nephews 13th birthday party and even the adults were having a great time... bowling, golfing, and the food for our party was great. The prize store is pretty high for tickets but lots of choices. They also have event center for small to big events.
This place is AWESOME. First we started with dinner at 4:45pm (reservation only) and Table 47, their restaurant. The steak and potatoes were to die for. The seasoning on the steak was perfect, it was cooked perfectly, the potatoes were perfect. Honestly hats down to the chef they know what they're doing. I got a flight of wine which was really cool. Moose, our server was friendly and funny. We went to get our lane which is also reservation only at 6. It's honestly the coolest bowling alley I've ever been to
Duckpin bowling was fun. Their advertisement for a $9 smash burger is deceiving. It's not available on their QR code menu and has to be ordered at the desk. I went there and was told it's only for the restaurant. No where on the ad does it read Table 47, it shows Ocean 5. I was able to order it, but was repeatedly told that since the restaurant was busy, I'd get an exception. The ad depicts a double patty smash burger. What you actually get is a single smash burger. The burger taste itself is all bun.
Family friendly. Good food. Lots to do. A little pricey. Look for deals and days/times when the bowling and other activities are discounted.
Fun experience for the Lexus company Christmas party! Highly recommend. Bowling, laser tag and everything else was so fun. Great food too!
Went here for an hour of duck pin bowling and there were so many issues we couldn't even finish one game in that time. We had to call over one of the staff members four times; once because the pin strings tangled, twice because the balls would not return, once because the whole system froze. The lane adjacent to us was also unable to play consistently due to these issues.
Had ?Moose? as our server today, he was new but I wouldn't have even known if he didn't tell us. A great addition to the team for this business. We had pretty much all of the items on the Harbor Hour Menu and were thoroughly impressed by how fast it came it out and the quality of the food prepared, we will definitely be coming back!
We held a wedding reception here and it was the perfect space! Tyler and Lenora (? I can't remember her name but it started with an L!) were wonderful to work with day-of, and Beth was great with logistics beforehand. The catering was delicious, drinks were great, and everyone had a good time bowling and using the TopGolf suite. I highly recommend as a venue for any upcoming events or just for a date night to bowl!
It was really fun. My kids and boyfriend loved the laser tag. I liked that i could see them and my niece and nephews have fun on a monitor. The arcade was okay, some of the games ate your points and then the ski ball on the left didn't have any balls in it. Duck pin bowling was great! All the kids and even the adults had fun playing. All around good experience for my nephews birthday party.
Let me just start with how wonderful our Ocean5 team and our party host, Kathy was! Kathy and the team were amazing and really knew how to make a kid feel special! After a few trips to Ocean5, we knew that this place was going to be a fun experience to have a birthday party! Our son?s 10th birthday was the perfect occasion to celebrate! The staff was absolutely awesome to work with from the time of reservation to the actual event. Jason was very responsive and answered all of our questions to ensure the d
Our experience at Ocean 5 was nothing but positive. From the reservation, to the receptionist, the server hosts to the management I was 100% impressed and my son had the time of his life at his birthday party. Thanks to Jesse, one of the managers, who seamlessly and punctually ran the show! She was compassionate, professional, and swift. She really has a great personality and made the time we spent there just amazing! Thanks to Michael and Katiewho not once, not twice, but three times adjusted my reservation
What to say? It is nice, but well it is a bit full of themselves. It is a bowling alley, I feel like someone forgot to tell them that. Over priced, you need a reservation! For a bowling alley. And the party rooms Holly cow talk about stupid expenses. No outside food in the party rooms. Considering it was more then my 1st car. Hell more than my 1st and 2ed car. We should have been able to bring in a cake. Won't go back there. We could have rented a house on the beach, or a penthouse with a view for about th
Awesome entertainment place for the whole family! They have separate rooms for movies, bowling, laser tag, golf, and other games. They have an arcade, a little store, a deli. And because everything is in separate rooms, it's not so noisy like a lot of other places. They have music, but you can actually carry on a decent conversation. Great staff, clean environment. Love this place!
Granted, we didn't make reservations. We did show up and asked for the next available time and were put off an hour. There appeared to be visible available bowling and duck bowling lanes during that time... But we sat in the waiting area. Regardless of our party status, they did post a happy birthday to the young man in our party turning 13! Thank you for that. We ordered drinks and meals and bowling... Stayed for arcade and karaoke. Food was delivered, haphazard with no utensils and no napkins. There was n
Wow! Friendly staff, relaxed sophisticated and fun atmosphere, and great activities for all ages! We went bowling and played at the arcade and enjoyed both at very low cost! They have some amazing specials & happy hours that are worth checking out! We will DEFINITELY be back!!
UPDATE: Ocean 5 reached out to me, and. I was impressed with the speed and the solution. I would say this is a good business model as they clearly care about the customers experience. "Cindy, I whole heartdly agree with you. I apologize for the less than ideal experience. How many people were in your party? I will make an envelope for you to pick up for another laser game on us! The fog solution has been ordered. We would love for you to come back when it arrives. Thank you for your thoughtful feedback." T
Omg!! This place is almost as good as Disneyland. Great family fun. Awesome service and food. Friendly people who work there. Arcades galore. Bowling and duck pins. Beautiful scenery inside. Very family oriented. Also a very nice peaceful restaurant and outside fireplace sitting area. Cost seating for all. They have tables that they bring your food and drinks to while you bowl. Shoes and balls provided. Also do birthday parties.
There were many things that were upsetting and disappointing to us. First the floor is not a bowling floor -it's just a "regular," floor - which means you CAN wear your regular shoes if you want. My FIL who enjoys blowing said the floor was awful, he got the bowling shoes and still the floor affected his bowling. Something about sliding, I am not a huge bowler so I didn't notice but he did. The booth we went into was very very small, we were put in lanes 5/6 booth, but we were only using one lane. It was fi
This was our second time to Ocean 5. Prior we had done the arcade and laser tag and our kids had a great time. However this time was the opposite. We arrived for our bowling reservation, the host checked us in (she clearly didn't want to be at work) and said to go to our bowling lane and she would help us on a minute. We walked down there, had no idea what to do. We waited 20 minutes! Finally the family in the lane next to ours explained to us what we do, and we just stared bowling. We never saw an employee
Me & my husband got married here last week & I cannot recommend this place enough. Room was elegant & clean & very reasonable price Staff was super friendly & ensured with every opportunity that guests were taken care of & happy. Staff went above and beyond to make things run smoothly. Event coordinator remained in consistent contact for months & weeks prior to ensure things would look the way we needed. Food was absolutely phenomenal Tasted great & looked amazing.
Just got charged $60 for two people to bowl. It used to be only $5 per person when you went at opening on weekends. They changed the pricing but were not transparent about it. That being said, we had a great birthday party here another time and the individuals who work here are very nice.
The experience you get from visiting Ocean 5 is quite novel. There is a restaurant, an arcade, laser tag, bowling, coffee, and spacious catering spots for both big and small party events. While the Table 47 and Ocean 5 businesses are almost one in the same and they are separate business that offer different services. Note there are areas that are designated for full restaurant, arcade, bowling alley, laser tag, and coffee. Regardless of the ask, all services and staff are there to happily help you through
Our first time here. We were guests at a birthday party. Had a blast! Laser tag, bowling, virtual golf! The food was fantastic and the cocktails were really good! I didn't pay for the fun stuff, so can't comment on cost, but the food and cocktails were comparable in cost to many restaurants and were very good! Employees were friendly. We will likely return. The bathrooms were very clean.
Alot of arcade games were out of order. Bowling was 1 hr wait plus. Laser tag was only fun option and it was 20 dollars each person for a sub par experience.
Ocean 5 Table 47 is multifaceted offering beautiful private dining rooms, very nice appropriate accommodations for business meetings and presentations. 47 provides amazing collectible food beautifully presented delectable off-site catering. Don't let the arcade, bowling or even fireside lounge overshadow a wonderful destination dining experience.
This is a place that will allow great experience to happen. I like it, was fun. Regarding food, it is a bit pricey and you don't know what you order unless you have been there before and had an idea. It is better to have some pictures besides those names, or what ingredients are in that food. Overall it is well organized, I like it.
The staff was friendly and it was clean but we ran into lots of issues during top golf. 3 times the game froze on us and we were sticking waiting for someone to reset it. We were debating asking for a refund as it made the experience less than enjoyable
We just had our 10 year old's birthday party at Ocean 5, and while it was expensive for a birthday (we're used to doing Little Ceaser at home or the park with a pinata), it was worth every penny! We came for the laser tag arena, which was fantastic - 2 story laser tag, the whole group (kids to grandparents, ages 7 to 60) had a TON of fun! The place is beautiful, comfortable, and well thought-out...the food was great (we even learned they have a local company make all of their soda with no preservatives and
Took my kids here for Bowling and food. I have three boys ages 11, 9, and 4. There was something for everyone and it was easy to keep everyone happy. This place is beautiful inside, it's affordable and has a ton for kids to do. The bathrooms are totally awesome and very clean. The food was great not cheap but delicious and timely. The staff were quick to help and offer advice for services available. I will be back here often for entertainment with the family.
We took our kids here as a reward for some hard work they had done. They loved it. One of my kids said, "That's the funnest thing I've ever done!". The servers were friendly and the atmosphere was fun.
Fun place to go with friends and family. Bowling is great, laser tag is really fun. Their restaurant is a good place to eat as well. Be sure to make reservations as it's hard to get in without.
This place is the absolute best!! So much fun!! Great food, endless drinks, wine, beer cocktails etc.. my kids absolutely loved it!
Had a wonderful celebration here. We made the best of it and enjoyed our time - bowling and laser tags. Unfortunately, for bowling, our adult party was placed immediately next to a family with two small children. Their dad was unhappy that I told him we were celebrating and drinking cocktails. We kept on but were squished in with this family... There were a lot of other lanes open. Bad planning or lack of on the staff's part. We then were assaulted by 8 year olds with laser guns. Fun, yet disturbing for man
We had a great time at Ocean5! The place itself is very cool, but their customer service is top notch!!! Definitely recommend for a fun night out.
Most underrated entertainment in the entire Seattle area. You can have a fancy seafood dinner, drinks, laser tag, bowling, and more all under one roof!
Definitely a place for spoiled rich kids. The facility was nice and clean, but everything was WAY overpriced. Save your money and just buy your kids a game or something.
Absolute best place I've been to for adult entertainment! Not only do they have regular bowling, but they also have the very rare to find duck bowling. On top of a fabulous restaurant and the ability to order whatever you want, and honestly for relatively decent prices, and have it brought to the lanes is a huge plus. But that's not all, they also have a multi-story indoor laser tag!! You get three rounds at 10 or 15 minutes each I believe! And also a not horrible but not great arcade. If you don't know whe
Great family place! Attended a retirement party. Food was great, drinks were great.
The facility is awesome. They have one of the best laser tag places I've played in. Customer service is lacking, unfortunately. I wanted to book a birthday party here, and started reaching out 19 days in advance. I emailed, called three times during business hours (no answer), and left two voicemails. No response to anything. I went in person and asked one of the employees what I should do and they tried to call over the manager on duty. She wouldn't come over to talk to me because she wasn't the manager i
Had my husband?s 30th birthday here! It was a surprise and the venue helped make it happen. He had no clue. Beth (event coordinator) helped plan it and answered all my questions. We rented the Salish lounge with top golf. They ended up giving us the bowling alley too, which was nice. The bartender made delicious drinks at the portable bar. The servers kept everything clean. The pizza was good, but small. Would recommend one pizza for every 2 people! We also did laser tag, which was fun. I wish they would ha
The bowling alley is nuts! The building is so tall with modern interior and very nice staff. There is a small chance you might not bowl here because of its popularity but it shows why it deserves a 5 star rating. Pricey Worth it
We had a great company event bowling and eating awesome pizza, tasty snacks, and good drinks. The service was right on and the room with two lanes and the fireplace with perfect. We all had fun, and it was well deserved after being locked down for so long. Thanks, team, for getting out and having fun! We will definitely be back soon.
Bowling alley is not legit. It is much smaller. There is a reason the restaurant is called table 47, it takes 47 minutes to get your food. We booked for an hour of bowling and ordered immediately, had to get take home boxes because the food showed up right before our time was up. The food is super expensive and doesn't even taste as good as concession stand food! I would not recommend going there to bowl or eat. I know nothing else about the rest of the place.
The waiter spilled a whole flight of beers on my newer shoes. When I explained the shoes were expensive they refused to pay for them. They were very rude. Just terrible service wish I could give them zero stars.
The decor and the meal presentation was nice, but deceiving.I think they should reconsider serving any of their Mexican/ Spanish entrees if they insist on serving it bland, and an utter disrespect for the traditional meal. The barbacoa was a dry rub added to the beef. True Barbacoa is wet and delicious. The tortillas were served cold, and were hard. The beans & rice had no seasoning. The rice was hard, as if it sat for several hours on a cooktop and warmed up in a microwave. I could not help, but to get a
We traveled to this destination for a pal's birthday and it was an awesome time! Our family very much enjoyed ourselves, though we could see an afternoon here adding up to a fun, but expensive day. We played some duckpin bowling, which was different and quite difficult! There has never been a perfect 300 bowled in duckpin, so our group took solace in this knowledge. They have great food available while bowling from their amazing restaurant called Table 47, and I hear also very good cocktails as well. We als
Took the family here on a Friday morning - lots of fun and a good way to kill a few hours. There were no crowds, so it felt like we had the place to ourselves. A bit on the pricey side, especially if you do duck pin bowling for a family of 4 - cost us over $50 just for an hour. Kids loved the velcro bowling shoes, though! The gaming section is great for kids and reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning again.
Editing from 4 stars to 3. This place used to have great customer service but now the people that work there are not friendly or accommodating. You're spending a lot of money there so you expect a great experience The prices are a little expensive and the bowling lanes are a little strange and they don't have arrows on them. It's a fun place to go though for sure!
We just went here for our first time and had a great experience. The internet was down, so the staff was doing everything they could to make our experience as amazing as possible regardless. We had 3 people specifically that really went above and beyond helping us. Those 3 people were Bailey, Amy and Jamila(SP?). They made our experience so amazing and I appreciated it so much. Thank you for truly going above and beyond.
We have been here in the past and it was good but this visit was awful. Nobody came to take our drink order, there were tons of little kids running across all lanes with no staff members doing anything about it. The duck pin lane we were on was broken - gutter balls did not register, balls were chipped, scoring was inconsistent.
Top golf suites are not private. We have kids making tons of noise and throwing things into the area where we're trying to play. All kinds of people in the room right next to where you're trying to play. Very frustrating with everyone starring at you. We will definitely not waste money on this again. There's other places where the suites are actually private.
Our girlscout troop booked the entire laser arena for a private experience for only $110 for 30 people . Everybody had such a wonderful time parents and kids alike. We also took advantage of their free bingo night and $10 player card. It was such a fun evening that the girls are going to talk about for years to come. We absolutely love coming to ocean five. Their arcade games are super fun and their ticketed prizes are very reasonably priced check their fb page for specials there are lots of deals to be had
I really like this place. Very family friendly and fun. We went to the Wednesday night bowling for $5 and played two games, ordered drinks and fries straight to the lane. That was fun! Only thing is if you try and reserve a lane online then it costs $25 instead of $5 so getting in for that price is just a gamble. The arcade was full of fun games and most were in good working order. I have been to a talk in the conference area upstairs and that was a nice space as well. Very spacious. It could have easily fi
What a wonderful experience. We had our entire family from grandparents to parents to a newborn baby from 74 to 8 weeks old and we were all entertained the entire evening. Virtual golf soccer soccer arcades, great drinks, wonderful dinner and the ultimate challenge bowling kids against grown-ups! So much fun. So much entertainment. What a lovely day.
Fantastic for a corporate of company party. The catered bbq is delicious and the bartenders poured wonderful drinks. The arcade is packed with a bunch of games, but the overall arcade area is a little small. Plenty of bowling. Great for a date night or a kids night out. Definitely will go back.
The food here is sub-par and expensive and has gone downhill over the years. I ordered a chicken sandwich that ended up being undercooked so we sent it back and when we got it back they had switched the chicken out to regular chicken tenders which was not even they type of chicken advertised in the menu. The sandwich was plain, dry and not at all what the menu claimed it should be. I had also upgraded to the Parmesan herb fries and it was clear that they had not changed out the fries so that they were fr
We celebrated my uncle's 65th bday here. We had such a great time bowling. Extraordinary fries and brussel sprouts...I recommend getting those for sure! They choose to sell only local/Washington beer and if you have a favorite you can get a growler to go!! If you are looking for an awesome family adventure with kids this is the place. I will go back!
Went here for the first time on a rare night out with a small group of friends. Was hoping to do the duck pin bowling but was told that it would be an hour and a half wait so we settled for regular bowling. There was no one actively duck pin bowling when we started our time bowling and it wasn't till 30 minutes later that a group finally occupied a single lane for duck pin bowling. By the time that we were done there was a grand total of 2 of the 6 duck pin lanes being used. Was unaware that as long as you
We didn't even know this option existed in Gig Harbor, so we were glad a friend introduced us. The building is very modern, not really giving "arcade and bowling alley" vibes, which I guess is a good thing? We had coffee in the cafe to start our visit, and it was decent (cookies were better). We played a few games in the arcade, and that was enjoyable enough (until a couple of them didn't work). We weren't really interested in bowling, after hearing about their "string pin" system, but the space looked fun
I had the Penne Clam Linguine with white wine sauce. Was absolutely delicious. And you have to try the smoked ol Fasion. One of the few places I've found that actually smokes it. ????
Fun place to meet friends and do Duck pin bowling in my case. Drinks are good .
My 7 year old grandson had his birthday party at ocean5. It was a great place for both kids and adults. The kids played in the arcade, food was really good. Lazier Tag and bowling was a blast for both the kids and adults.
We had a good experience here, nice location for a birthday party. Food and drinks are a bit high priced.
We had such a wonderful experience. The staff was MORE than helpful, so kind and so professional. We rented the Swing Suites for a work party event and we were treated so great!! I would like to especially compliment the employee Bryan who went above and beyond taking good care of us with his wonderful customer experience. Also, great thanks to Monica who did a fantastic job assisting with setting up the whole evening. I would highly recommend this place! BIG thanks to everyone who made it such a wonderful
It was my great-nephews 9th birthday party! The kids had a blast! There is so much to do. Kids and parents alike were playing games. The food was great! The staff was very kind and courteous!
The place looks really nice, but when my family went bowling here to celebrate my dad's birthday, then we couldn't even bowl a full set in the allotted hour due to various technical issues, malfunctions, and glitches. We had to go find employees to fix our lane several times, but the underlying issues were never fixed and were basically told that nothing could be done and we just had to deal with it. $50 for an hour of bowling is expensive -especially when your money is spent just to sit around and NOT be a
Their laser tag is decent. Their games were mostly broken and over priced. It's very expensive. I don't recommend eating there or getting their coffee. Denny's is better by comparison or a pancake house. Staff are alright, mostly teens, but they do alright.
The experience was good but it took time to get food but it was ok and the cream soda I got was amazing. The bowling was a little bit hard though, as pins kept getting stuck and they needed to fix it but besides at bowling was fine. Overall, I was pretty happy.
Several games in the arcade were broken or partially working, the laser tag was out of order, the bowling is wildly expensive, and also hardly worked. They also don't allow anyone to sit with your group that isn't bowling with you. And, if you can figure out how to order the food, you'll find it's also expensive, and straight from the freezer via Cisco or US Foods. The staff was pretty friendly, though.
The staff that served our group at the Top Golf Swing Lounge was awesome! Lots of laughs, great food, and wonderful memories. Visited a few days ago, and the service was great. The food was delicious, and the beverages were just right. Still 5 stars in my book.
Duckpin bowling was an unknown for us but oh so fun. We will be back.
Amazing Center. Great food, great drinks, tons of fun for kids or families. Check it out!
Super disappointed. Dont want to be a Karen but..... $50 per hour is super expensive for bowling. Everyone is super rushed to try complete a game. The pins get stuck and you have to track someone down to fix it while the clock is ticking down. Food tasted good but is way overpriced. They nickel and dime you to death. If you dont want to eat a dry pretzel you pay extra. If you want a lettuce wrapped burger they dont credit you for no bun but charge $3.00 for 1 or 2 lettuce leaves. For 2 meals with no drink
We celebrated my daughters birthday last weekend and this place amazing! We reserved a bowling suite which includes a private room with two lanes, couches, tables, chairs, tv and fireplace. It also includes a private food/beverage service and a server that will help you with everything. Reservations were easy and the staff went out of their way to make sure we had what we needed. We were so impressed and can't wait to go back!
The place is a complete clown show. Reserved two duckpin lanes. They couldn't supply us with balls until five minutes into the reservation. One of the lanes immediately froze on the first frame and staff couldn't seem to figure out how to fix it for 20 minutes. They told us they couldn't give us all 20 minutes back because of a following reservation. They did finally put 10 minutes back on and gave us certificates for a free session in the future. They then proceeded to mess up the food order. The foo
I had my rehearsal dinner/wedding reception here in February, and everything about this venue and the staff was a delight! Beth was great to work with in the planning and so accommodating with any ideas I had to personalize the space. The day of the wedding, Leona was my point of contact, and she was fabulous! All the staff I interacted with were pleasant and professional, and I am so impressed by the caliber of employee here. Another thing I deeply appreciated about working with Ocean 5 was how upfront the
I came for an Octopus presentation by HarborWildWatch.org and found the bowling alley showing marine videos to be awesome.
Bowling, golf simulators, arcade, attached bar and restaurant inside - it's got about everything. Very centered towards children and families. They have pop a shot and ski ball in the arcade. They also have multiple options for bowling and a good number of lanes. They have tv?s in the middle area where you can sit and eat food and let your kids go play.
Best experience. Came for music but it wasn't tonight so ended up bowling. Such fun! Michael was the best!! Thank you again for all of your help.
We had a birthday party here and it was a blast. Both the kids and adults had a great time. It's such a lovely facility with so much to do here! You can tell that the owner and employees take a lot of pride in making this a top notch experience for all ages. And the service and people working here are far the best I've experienced in a long time. Shout out to Charles for graciously giving us a wonderful and impromptu tour and to Jake for giving our family and friends outstanding and thoughtful service
Oceans 5 is so fun it has top golf, bowling, arcade, and even laser tag. it's really cool but the bowling is so expensive I'd even go as far as say as it's overpriced. Bowling is $50 a lane and a lane holds six people including spectators. Laser tag is also super fun My son loves it we go there every month but it's also the same as bowling and it is really really expensive.
We had a birthday party with laser tag and arcade games! Monica was so helpful coordinating our party and quickly replying to all my emails! I had a ton! At promptly 10:45 the doors opened and we were able to set up our decorations. Our designated party room person, Rae -Rae was so attentive in making sure everyone in our party had everything they needed. She guided the party along with master efficiency. From rounding up the kids for laser tag, to singing and cutting the Birthday cake, she had it al
Went there for a holiday party with my company. The environment was great. The staff was very friendly and helpful
This is a good family-friendly option, especially on a rainy day. We love the bowling, and often order their pizzas while playing. The laser tag is fun, and the arcade is loved by our kids, but overpriced like most places.
Bowling, laser tag, small arcade, and virtual top golf. They have separate party rooms for birthdays and other events. They seemed understaffed, as they were difficult to find at times. The location was clean, and didn't feel run down.
First visit ~ a very impressive facility! Great staff, clean and has lots to offer for entertainment! Only one area that needs IMPROVING... their PIZZA. Extremely thin, insufficient toppings & first impressions of the entire pizza upon delivery was definitely NOT Impressed. Definitely room for improvement.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
