We always have a blast at Oakwood Bowl! My kids love to do the bumper cars. Some spin and rotate while the others are more traditional bumper cars. They have an arcade with games for all ages. When bowling, they have all different interactive bowling games and also have several ramps for young bowlers who aren't quote big enough to roll the ball themselves. We also love going to the yearly Trunk-or-Treat event they host!

Sandy's Sweet Shop and arcade inside of Oakwood Bowl is great. Small, simple menu but very affordable. Kids had a great time on the arcade games, including the one that sprays water. A little hidden gem inside the bowling alley. 10/10 recommend.

Fun, friendly place. Good food. We all had a great time

This place is awful, the lanes are dry. Don't think about asking to finish a game if you barely don't make of the time! Pathetic staff, pathetic lanes. Highly recommend not coming to this bowling alley. Way overpriced, just an overall bad experience.

This was the worst place we have ever bowled. Not only was the staff rude to the adults but they were also rude to the kids. Save your money and go somewhere else.

My family was in Enid for my cousin's graduation. We went to Oakwood the next day. We had a great time!

Went here with the kids and grandkids. We had an absolutely great time. Spent all of our time in the arcade and bumper cars.

Fun place. great for birthday parties. Family togetherness. Me and my family have gone many times and we never fail to have a blast. The arcade is super fun too! Inexpensive and you get alot of tickets for cool stuff!

Fun, good way to relax and take a breather to enjoy your day, plus food is delicious. Recommend.

We had a blast, and so appreciate your business putting on the trunk of treats for the children, it's a safe way for our children to get treats without the worries of dangers from others, Thank you so very much!!;;

Good food but didn't see what I really loved, nachos.

I came in to go bowling with some friends. The manager was the person working the desk and he started out by being very rude. He treated us like we were stupid. We decided to play one hour of bowling. About halfway in the machine started messing up the pins. It would not place all of the pins or they would fall down while being placed. It ended up wasting about 10 minutes of our hour and he didn't even give us extra time. We were able to bowl one full game and ran out of time with 1 frame left. The jerk man

Always fun place to go with the family or friends.

It's a great place to take the family. The arcade next door makes for an even more exciting trip.

We had my granddaughters B-Day party there, loads of fun! She's 5 now.

Love this place. The owners and staff are awesome. We enjoy the bumper cars so much. Pretty good food too. Owners put on a huge truck or treat for the last 10 years for the community. Just a great place

We were just traveling thru but needed to get the kids out of the car for a bit. This place was fun! It wasn't packed at all which was nice! We bowled, played in the arcade, and did the bumper cars. Totally worth it! Wish we had something like this back home.

Super friendly workers. They even took time to figure out if it was cheaper for our family of 5 to bowl per the hour or game. We were going to just do a game but they figured it would be cheaper if we did per hour.

They keep it extremely clean, good service and have events going alot!

The best and the only bowling place we have it was fun.

My complaint is with one of the workers. From the moment we came in, you could hear this man complaining they needed to hire more staff. We purchased 2 lanes in the new interactive bowling. It was for one hour. The lady who helped us get our shoes, let us know that at the hour mark the game would shut off. We started playing and had ball issues which lasted about 10-15 minutes before someone was able to fix the problem. The lady that helped set up our lanes let us know they were adding 10 minutes to our ti

This place has fell off big time. Haven't been in years until the other night, pretty sure there are some serious child labor laws being broken here lol the concession worker could barely see over the counter. Definitely will not return, we'll find literally anything else to do before we return. Maybe if we hear of a change owners/management. Let's be honest this place only cares about their league players and anyone else seems to inconvenience them greatly.

Clean place. Professionally run. The bumper cars are worth the 8$ a ride if you ask my sons! Arcade is pricey for what it has but it's hard to find an arcade these days anyhow. Good family fun place.

Fun place to bowl, clean, food was okay. The only thing is they charge per hour per hour we had 5 people and it stopped during 2nd game . However if we would have paid per game it would have been more. I just wish it would let you finish out the 2nd game if you are 1/2 way through it.

We was disappointed this used to be a great place to bring kids to bowl. They didn't offer us a choice of wanting to use the glow in the dark lanes. Used to you could ask to have glow lanes without being charged. We asked to be moved and was told no they didn't want to open the lane due to them using them later on in the evening the whole time we was there no one showed up to use them. The bathrooms wasn't very clean. The service wasn't very good. Definitely gonna find a different place to bowl.

I understand the youth league is suppose to be fun for the kids but they punish the good bowlers. If a little kid with 100 handicap can't win then they won't post tournaments hosted there.

Great place for a birthday party!

Spinning bumper cars, large arcade space and bowling! Daily specials too! Highly recommend to escape the heat!!

This place is great! Especially the bumper cars! Very very reasonable prices

It was fun, clean, and easy to navigate! A bit more expensive than expected however it has been a long time for us to bowl. Approx. $80.00 for 2 adults and two little children to play 2 games and have 4 drinks (non-alcoholic ??).

Bumper cars are awesome! Worth every dime to see my 7 yr old daughter smile and laugh the way she did, and then playing the 2 person arcade games with her was priceless to me.

Fun for all the family!

Dawn has risen, my bowling game has begun. However to gain my energy I had to eat food at a outrages price and a beverage that after a talk with my financial agent I learned I couldn't afford. That's ok. It was time to bowl!! Never mind my timer ran out. Darn. The new time system is silly it took a good time and makes it mid at best and feels rush

Oakwood hosted a birthday party for my grandson. We all had a wonderful time. Even the adults were excited to get to the game room!

Great environment, friendly staff, awesome pricing Friday/Saturday night 10 pm - 12 am. Clean and lots of fun

We had a birthday party here yesterday. Now that the bar is gone and they have a new arcade and bumper cars it is such a family friendly place! There is even a birthday party room and a sweet shop. The staff was very friendly!

The bowling is fun! I'm the arcade pro, use to play alot of arcade like Dave & Buster, round 1, and other! But the game is too expensive! It use to be 25 cent to 1 dollar before.

Nice place but when I told the manager that there was anasty mess in the women's bathroom he said they would take care of it. A hour later it was still there. Someone had pooped and filled the toilet with paper. Still not cleaned 2 hours later when we left. And they wasn't that busy.

Completely horrible time. We were harassed the entire time we were there. We had brought in food to eat. In middle of our meal we had 5 people tell us we couldn't have food in the bowling alley except for Birthdays.(Because that makes sense) Unable to finish our food. My wife took the food to the car. Then 3 more employees continued there bullying campaign, and wouldn't not leave us alone until the remaining two drinks we had were removed. I suggest you put someone at the door to warn people prior to you

Bumper cars are a great experience. Arcade is extremely clean and fun. Bowling is very fun with the different modes to play with for no extra cost. The food is good for a bowling alley.

Expensive. Haven't went bowling in awhile but didn't expect to pay $60 for 4 people to play 2 games.

You can't even bring a cake or pizza anymore unless you buy a ?birthday package?. We used to come here for every family birthday but will have to take our business elsewhere from now on. Why does every place in Enid self sabotage themselves??

They have a very nice after school program and bowling is always a pleasure for the family. However, they're after school program does not have good instructions and is very misleading. Sometimes I think they're only doing the after school program to bring in more parents money for the arcade and extras. The fact that you have to pay rather you attend or not I feel is wrong if you're not there to bowl you should not have to pay!

The times are always off. On the website it says it closes at 10, but on the door it says 9:30? How does that work. We were going to stay till 9, but at 8:30 they were telling us that they were closing.

5 and above staff was nice and helpful I took my kids and they needed assistance they offered a bowl rack and bumpers rails food we ordered was fresh and hot

People are very rude...rush you in and out if you throw a Birthday Party. Everything is overpriced and they're not helpful if you have an issue with the games. No chalk for the pool table or powder lol. You're expected to set up and clean up all within the hour after they lie and tell you differently on the phone.

Bowling was great, and the arcade was very costly.

Called and asked for the price it would be for my daughter and I to go bowling. At a reasonable price of 25$ we can get shoes and a game in. Oakwood bowl is definitely a fantastic idea to entertain the kiddos.

The place is clean and the pro shop is more than helpful in picking out equipment and making sure you get the best ball for your game! League nights are fun and the people are friendly and make the game and learning enjoyable!

Always fun. Kids and adults enjoy. A little expensive. There is a bar in the building but you can drink beer while you bowl. The shoes seem clean. Different varieties of bowling balls. I wish some of the lighter balls had bigger finger holes. Oh and the jukebox is all Elvis all the time lol

Love love LOVE this place! Very kid friendly!

This is a very large, and very well maintained Bowling Center. I have a large number of lanes, and you can bowl for a reasonable price. You can bring your own bowling shoes, or you can use a free ball and rent shoes at the front desk. They also have a snack bar, and video games, and other things to keep the kids busy while the parents Bowl. I used to not like bowling because every time I walked into the bowling alley all I could see was just a huge smoke cloud like a fog. But now that smoking is not allowed

First its expensive to bowl here that was unexpected. The bowling lanes were fine pretty normal. The lanes have a cool interactive lane control computer thing that's cool. The rest of the place is a little outdated but that's okay. The bathrooms were fairly clean also a little dated. I didn't try the food but a fair amount of people were ordering food so it must be okay. Any bowling alley wouldn't be complete without an arcade so kids can win tickets for small prizes, never seen one without one.

Scoring technology was AWSOME. House balls are cleaned and sanitized after every use. Games cost about $5.00 per person per game, but they have a special on Saturday evening from 6 pm to 8 pm. During this time, they make the bowling center dark, including the lanes, and the cost is $10 per person, unlimited games, for the entire time between 6 and 8 pm. Great family or group fun!

We order seasoned fries and they took thirty minutes to come out unseasoned. We watched the cook eat French fries off of peoples orders. Got a frozen corn dog. Also took forever.

Denied my ability to bring medically necessary items in with me.

this place is a joke.went to bowl & have beers but they could not sell me cause they were under age & guy behind counter did not have license to sell worst bowling place in enid plus watch out handle on guys bathroom door in nasty

Had a wonderful afternoon!! I haven't bowled for 20-25 yrs and had a wonderful time here!! Today needless to say I'm sore all over!! You don't use it you loose it!!

New monitors and score keeping. You can play different types of bowling games that make it fun for everyone from beginners to those that are competitive. Several tournaments that have a good pay out. Staff is friendly and will help you. Hungry Bowler diner located inside has great prices on food and it's prepared correctly. They have several leagues year round for different age groups. It's bowling and it's fun!

My grandsons love to bowl, I just wish you had better pricing along with a cheaper deli

It was okay beforehand, but this price hike is highway robbery. Nobody can bowl during a weekday that has a full-time job, but that's only when the damn price is reasonable.

Never been i only write this review as I found this wrist band promising a free game at a park thought lets check it out only to find its in Oklahoma lol im in wichita ks so the fun carried on. Seams like a fun spot. Your advertising working overtime. I shall hold on to this rubber wrist band and if I am ever there I shall enjoy a possible one game of free bowling. Stoked.

Really enjoyed this alley for the bowling tournament some people should be more respectful tho of those in the back of them. And make sure seats aren't already spoken for before pushing there way in front. And then have a laptop thats blocks even more view when there was a table in the back to sit at.

Bowling was nice for a mid sized town. Arcade was sadly terrible. Most the games did not work, sadly a hard pass in the future for us.a

I used to Bowl here when I was a kid but it's still a great place to bowl and they added some new things to it too

They have done alot of work! The bar is gone and is now the new and larger arcade and the old arcade now has bumper cars! Great job to the owners.

My family loves going bowling & now they have an awesome arcade and bumper cars. They also have a concession space that is good too! Family owned business that is a community staple. ?? Great place

no thanks ! bad vibe, the kids zone is way overpriced and the staff was very rude?.we just asked simple questions and the counter was very frustrated with these questions

Had birthday party and workers were help at all. All young teenager boys just standing around talking. My son didn't even get the birthday pin we paid for.

It was a good experience. Very affordable for a party of 6. We had a good time. Staff was very friendly and got us all set up quickly.

Pricey but the kids had a blast new addition with bumper cars we're pretty cool kids love them game room was excellent

Needs some repairs, teenagers runnin the place, not much adult managmnt supervision that i saw, security for the kids was low. Dont think I would drop mine off unatended , especially next door to the bar, was a good time bowling but was sorta a free for all.

We had soooo much fun. Facility is great, atmosphere is wonderful, food was excellent. Downfalls... Only one handicap ramp and it was expensive!

I came with my daughters class and when the kids went to start bowling they wanted the bumpers out. We were told they weren't going to turn on the bumpers and the kids needed to just put on their big kid panties, really!?!? That's a horrible way to run a business and my family will go elsewhere from now on.

it is a great place to have some fun time, bowling was awesome the games in the arcade area are a bit to expensive

Clean and updated. Wish they could sell more than beer, but thats okay. Guys are really nice and fun. Comfortable seating and atmosphere.

Food was average, drinks were expensive. Ball availability was limited in plug sizes. Mu shoe rental were in not the greatest shape. Good prices and deals

I am 16 and I am freinds with the owner's they are really nice and will work with you like I would pay them on payday for my dues and instead of the Friday they where due

This is a very nice, clean, and fun bowling alley. I go here weekly with my wife and have never been disappointed!

I didn't actually use the bowling alley. I went for the trunk or treat. Things went really well and was well organized.

Had a great time. They have good food also. For family outing, it's a good place to go.

We had so much fun. We went during the day and the staff was friendly. Good pricing

Very fun! There are literally tons of stuff to do, very kind people who pay attention to the customers and families!!!! We will be going again!!!!

Always a great place to bowl and it's well maintained. Hungry bowler has awesome food!

Great service at amazing prices. Only one pool table but the balls stick and you need to keep finding a worker- only downfall.

Great bowling alley with a huge game room for the kids, a bar and grill, a great family outing

Great place to bowl. Food was good!

Fun and not to crowded. Customer service could have been friendlier. Would give 5 stars if not for that.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
