Great customer service, love their cheesy garlic knots and bomb french fries. We love playing a couple games of bowling and spending some time at the arcade. It's a Great family time activity, especially during the summer after getting signed up with the kids bowl free program it makes for a super affordable family night out.
Moving from NJ to her WA and being a lover of pizza I have to say their pizza is phenomenal. The customer service is great very polite And the atmosphere is great for both adults and kids alike. Always a joy to take my kids there m
Had a great time with my sister and her family!! They had a lane open and we had a great time!! Great service and decent price
Staff was friendly, food was on time, booking was simple. The arcade provided 8 kids 2 hours of entertainment and excitement. Separate dining area for gifts, guests and adults. Bowling was fun. Overall 4.2 out of 5 stars. Not a bad birthday spot for a 10-13 year old younger children will have a blast as well. The reason it's not 5 stars for me is due to the lane price point. Just a wee bit high in my opinion but it was great fun. For arcade bday and bowling all for a few hundred bucks you can't go wrong. Ho
EDIT IN RESPONSE: thank you for the professional response and apologies for the knee-jerk reaction. Thank you for taking these considerations into account. Would be willing to give it a go again in the future. Stopped in for the lunch buffet only to be disappointed. $15.99 for all you can eat, which wouldn't be a problem, however there were only 2 pizzas out and a small tray of rolls. No option for kids for cheaper since they don'teat nearly as much. On top of that, the $15.99 doesn't include a drink? What
Home town bowling. Super friendly staff. Large arcade. Good diner food. Very welcoming. Electronic scoring. Cute bowling balls. We had a blast.
Awesome time driving through. They make great long islands. Made the right way. ??
The staff and the people there were quick and efficient with food and drink orders. This was a fantastic experience.!!
Really nice staff, cool alley of 12 lanes (not huge on string pins but they're not horrible) decently big arcade, and food is darn good so it gets 5 stars from me.
Bowled there for the Washington State open bowling tournament. Nice little bowling alley and my first time bowling on string pins.
This place is awesome! Bowling is a blast and the food is delicious. Arcade is fun as well
We love this bowling alley and the people working there are the best!
Great family fun! Clean environment and the staff are super friendly. FYI: The fried pickles are AMAZING!! I am a southern girl and have not been able to find fried pickles like they do down south until now.
Super fun place to take the family nice staff clean ... there is a arcade and gaming room as well as look to be a bar as well definitely will be back ... this place has it all !! there also serve fresh Mario's pizza and a full menu to order was delicious !! eat while you play fair price for a great night out with the family
Great food. Super friendly employees. A great way to spend an afternoon.
Great pizza and super friendly staff. A little expensive, but any non-chain pizza place is
Our first couple times ordering the pizza was absolutely delicious. The last handful of times we have ordered the pizza has been super greasy. Still a better option than the big chain pizza places in Oak Harbor.
We celebrated my son's 6th birthday there yesterday and had a blast. Donna and everyone there made it so fun and easy!
My family had a great time. The bowling is fun, the kids enjoyed the arcade, and the pizza was great! We will definitely be back sooner than later.
If you're here for just bowling, it's pretty good. What do you expect? It's a small town and an island so definitely doable for the family. The pizza's okay. I recommend not playing the video games. It's a complete rip-off other than that solid Three Stars
I had a great time with my friends there, and the pizza, arcade and bowling worked really well!
Was here today. All the staff were great (and busy)! We kept bugging them and they kept accommodating us, no problem. The pizza was really good. Light on the sauce which I appreciate and the crust was perfect in my opinion. Light and a little crispy. ?? Next time I want pizza I will be getting it from here.
Nice service, clean. We didn't bowl but used the arcade for a birthday party. Kids had a blast, plenty of seating for the adults close to the kids.
Had many fond memories here growing up. It's changed substantially since the last time I visited. Was sad to see they got rid of the carpet (which really pops during "Glow Bowling" with the blacklights). The bowling balls are a bit beat up, probably the same ones from when I went there as a kid. The lanes are alright, a bit waxy maybe, I just know it was hard to get a good throw sometimes because the balls were coated in wax. Its a little pricey for the quality, but there is redemption here, as Wednesd
One word AMAZING!!! I had my sons 12th bday party here and I came in and from start to finish Thad a wonderful experience. The staff was so helpful and definitely patient with all of our excited little ones. The food was hot and very tasty! Drinks stayed full! All of the staff we thank you so much and will definitely be giving plenty more of our business.
This is a Hidden Gem of a place! The same family has run Oak Bowl for decades. The Pizza might be the best I have ever had. The arcade is set up with tons of games and prizes. The Bar has outstanding drinks, poker night, and there are tables games to play for free while you hang out, including decks of cards, Jenga, and connect 4. Not to mention the lanes themselves! The crew does a great job of keeping the lanes oiled up, and the score screens allow you to play MORE then just standard bowling games. With b
Best bowling place I've been to in a while. Pizza was good. Customer service, good. Good equipment. The best part was the updated program which allowed us to pick Angry birds or funny faces as we bowled. Really helped keep the kids entertained while waiting their turn.
Amazing workers, food and prices! Yes, the arcade games are probably a scam, they all are, but the service here was amazing! The food was good and made fresh and by hand, and was very quick! It tasted absolutely amazing! The prices are pretty cheap as well! The selection for bowling screens is nice too. I would recommend going here if you would love to have a night out with family or friends!
First time here, very popular place and the food was great. It needs to be bigger however.
Fun family night with 60 year old mom dad and bowling after a long time. Great ambience and people. Good music and the only place open late on the 2 hour drive back home after a fun day outing on the island. Pizza and Garlic Cheese Bread also was great.
First time ever string pin bowling ...definitely will come back
Overall not too bad. There are only 12 lanes though and the price per lane is high on any day but Wednesday. Showed up Tuesday and it was 32 dollars for an hour lane vs 6 dollars on Wednesday. You can guess which day was empty and which was packed. Place was clean and the staff was nice.
We love this place, and the arcade is killer, my son had an absolute meltdown when it came time to leave. The staff was on point even with the chaotic crowed of people that had a million questions and or requests. Bam they were freakin on it! 10/10 recommend. Birthday party or ust because, this is the place.
Fun, family atmosphere. The remodel looks amazing!!! The bathrooms no longer have the 1970s vinyl floors. The bar area is open and bright. Nice arcade, teams activities, parties, fundraisers, and food options.
We had a great time doing my sons birthday here. The arcade game are fun and there was a good selection for all ages. It is nice that the arcade room is separate from the bowling so the kids can run around and not bother anyone. The pizza was good and the staff was nice and helpful.
New scoring system with different games is awesome. Spacious arcade and dining area. Amazing food! Don't pass on the Cheesy Garlic knots and their Pizzas! Also check out the full bar, Bartender is a Top Bartenders on the Island!
I am pleasantly surprise that they have made good food over the years. Very family friendly and recently improved their menu items. Fries used to be separate, now they are part of the meal. But you can still order them as a single item. Burgers are juicy and made your way. Pizza is pretty good. Service can be prompt or a little slow depending on how busy the bowling ally is. Cleanliness is a 5 star. I noticed they have had some of the same employees for years. This place is great because while you wait for
Only bowling alley available to the public in Oak Harbor and always a good time. Friendly and helpful staff. Pizza is served piping hot with the best cheese and in a pretty quick manner. In house arcade is great for added entertainment as well.
They have about 8 lanes If I remember correctly. The staff was all nice. The new bar that they just put in is nice, although it looks a lot different than the rest of the building. It's not blocked off or In a separate room, its wide open so you can just walk right on up. They have a good amount of beers on tap and the pizza is actually pretty solid.
Ordered two medium pizzas and a salad. Drove into town to pick it up paid $60 and got home to find out one was totally wrong. The staff was rude because of my frustrations after having to drive into town twice for their screw up. I am so very disappointed especially since my family and I spend a lot of time and money there. Guess I will have to look for a new place to hang out with the kids. If you are looking for food that's right go else where.
There are very few establishments I can say go above and beyond to provide excellent food and service and this place is one of them. Believe all the reviews praising the food it is absolutely fantastic.
Best place for food & fun! Staff is great too
Came here with a few friends this last weekend just to spend time together outside of work, and we all had such an amazing time. The girl handing out shoes was very polite, and the guy running the bar was super nice and funny. We are all planning on going back again in a week or two for another fun night. Prices were fair and a great atmosphere.
Had daughter's bday recently, and she and her friends had a blast. Staff were wonderful and very helpful throughout our party.
Friendly staffing service. The barn Pizza are great. It is a bit expensive for pulling itself. The arcade is fun for the kids. Overall it's one of the best things to do in Oak Harbor with a family, if you have the money
The pizza is good and so is the service. The only bad thing was it was not up to date with everything. My group had to ask the people to fix our lane every 5 minutes. The song choice not so good. The arcade was fun but they had some games twice or Mabey even three times, they were just different names. Although there was quite a bit of negative's it was a good place!
My husband and I came in with the plan of playing pinball. We first went and asked if there were any drink specials and we were told to go to the bar and inquire further. When we went to the bar and asked about drink specials the bartender quickly interrupted his conversation with the one other person at the bar to tell us know there were no drink specials that day. Then he promptly returned back to his conversation before helping us any further. If he had told me about one drink special or perhaps even mad
Very fun bowling alley with super friendly service. The bar had a good selection of local and interesting beers and we didn't get food but everything we saw looked really appetizing.
My daughter had a wonderful birthday here! I hosted 9 little girls and was met with so much patience and kindness! Pizza was good They all had a blast! Special thanks to rhainnon or rhianna?? Sorry I'm bad at names
Excellent place, great fun. Good food, great service, thank you Audtrey and staff! Great music. Good deals! See you soon!
my husband and I came here for the first time and right off the bat, we had many technical issues with the arcade games, bowling lane, and vending machine. I lost a dollar in the vending machine; a few arcade games were broken and wouldn't register the card or turn on. Still had some fun though. The photo booth worked. We also ordered boneless wings which turned out really great. The biggest issue we had was the bowling lane. It would register the wrong pin count, not recycle the pins, pins would topple ove
To the owner: On March 28th I went to oak bowl with a party of 4 adults and 3 kids for the first time. We requested two lanes for the open bowl on Sunday with the understanding first time bowlers receive a $10 voucher received from the oak bowl website. During our time there our lane was continuously breaking down and our balls were not being returned. We informed the staff members who were bowling on a near by lane. They replied ?OK? and continued bowling and step outside. After approximately 20 minutes a
My wife and I reserved a lane for two hours and ordered a pizza. The staff was incredibly polite and accommodating. It was my wife's first time bowling and we had a great time.
Went there last night with my boys and had a good time. Boy did I pay a chunk of change for it! For an XL pizza with 2 toppings and 3 arcade cards with $18 each on it was about $75 and 3 games of bowling for 3 people was a little over $50. Dang! Having teenage boys is not for the faint of heart or cheapskates, ha Ha! The ladies behind the counter were great though and took good care of us. If you go there to bowl be sure to dress light because it gets really warm to the point you'll end up having to
Tonight we had horrible service. We arrived and ordered our food. An hour and twenty minutes later we had all our food. Which was not warm. The customer service was not pleasant. They kept saying it was ready and it was not ready. Then they were not going to give us one of our items. They said we said we were good. We never said that. I get its slightly busy tonight but to order our food and not get an after an hour later plus people who came in after were getting theirs.
You have to try the cheesey garlic knots from Mario's the best pizza were very good as well. The staff was very accommodating for girls daughters birthday party and made her feel like the princess she is. Clean well kept and there is a full service bar ??
The Best Pizza ???? in Oak Harbor... Hands Down!! Facility is clean and the staff is friendly and attentive! Love the vintage photos, music videos and the arcade! ??????????. One of the best family friendly places in Oak Harbor day or night!!
I like the retro feel just wish it was maintained a little better. The balls had chunks out of them. In the arcade a quarter of the machines were turned off and another quarter of the machines were accepting money but didn't work properly. The prizes were disappointing. I hope this place has a re opening. As the only bowling alley on the island that I know of it could do really well.
I've been coming to Oak Bowl since 2017 and its always been one of my favorite places to go to have a great time with family and friends. Andrew is a hard working employee and seems like he's always working when I visit! Good on him. Thanks for the fun times Oak Bowl!
Grandson's 13th. Never been there B4. Pleasantly surprised. VERY helpful and attentive staff, good pizza, besides bowling there's a decent activity area and really set up nicely for group parties. Had a fun time and highly recommend checking it out if you're on the hunt for a kid party kind of place.
I held a birthday party here for my daughter. When we got there everything was set up and decorated. Several managers came to check on us throughout the party and we had no time limit. The hostess we had was extremely helpful and everyone had a good time.
This review is for Mario's pizza inside, as I was visiting a friend and wanted to pick up a pie to bring with us as a surprise. After seeing the other awesome reviews, I called in an order as we were driving from out of town. The manager was friendly and helped me with the order. He was cordial but professional. When we arrived, we saw that the bowl meant it was a bowling alley! I was dubious at first, but as I entered I could tell this was a throwback bowling alley. Old style everything and an awesome lo
Pizza has crispy crust with plenty of toppings. Sauce is very good without it being esthetic. Cheese burgers are real good. Went there for a 5 year olds birthday party and kids had a ball. Staff was great with the kids.
Friendly and accommodating staff. Try the Tom and Kathy pizza. There's no other place for that hometown bowling feel.Andrew, is very accommodating. Dale, is an awesome coach for youth and adults. Kerrie and Megan are also very helpful and caring folks.
As always the BEST pizza in town. We have been coming here for years and always have a great time. The customer service is great, the arcade is a blast for the kids and is a breeze for birthday parties.
Parking seemed a bit small off the main road. Not sure if there was additional in the back. Table sitting area near entrance had what looked like retired kitchen appliances. Arcade section seemed a bit tired some broken down.Place was packed must have something good going. Busy night, only one lane. Untamately did not seem very inviting.
Love this place! New pizza/arcade spot.
We are just visiting the area and looking for something fun to do. to We had a great time with the kiddos. Fun clean atmosphere.
An awesome place to just go have some fun! Loving all the new updates and that there is something for everyone, bowling ally, arcade, great food, and bar. Clean environment and the staff have always been friendly.
I had a ball here. Went bowling with family. We had some appetizers. They were good. 2 games bowling, shoe rental, soda, and 2 orders of appetizers for 4 was $100. You can bowl by the hour or by the game. Also military discount.
Horrible staff! My 2 year old daughter was struck in the face by the maintenance man while she was walking back to me. He pretty much walked into her causing her head to be pushed backwards by his hand. I was walking towards him when he disappeared into the back room. The manager was not engaged with his customers and hardly looked them in the face. Upon telling the manager he apologized but seemed distracted. After realizing I wasn't going to get help I simply told him we were leaving. We didn't even get a
Had a great time, my 11 y/o son had fun playing video games, said the food was amazing and fell in love with bowling all in a day. Everyone in there was nice too.
Really had a great time, the unlimited option for the arcade was really awesome. Pizza wasn't terrible, and the bowling was fun. My kids and I enjoyed our time alot.. and almost came back a second night hahah. Here's a hint {I won't take a ??} leave the pizzas in a little longer... Get a few lighter balls for the kiddos... Other than that.. You rock!
Oak Bowl is definitely a try-hard bowling establishment. They offer a great bowling experience it's clean and we'll maintained. They also have an arcade, with console arcade options. Mario's Pizza is a great pizza option, one of the best in town. It's a great stop for the family.
We love the Oak Bowl but it has gotten too pricey for us to play. Brought the grandkids and played 3 rounds and it costed us $82 for our night. It's way cheaper to just go to Mt. Vernon. The service was great though and I wish I could say the pizza was good but it was not. Sorry Oak Bowl I know we are friends but I believe in honesty.
Good garlic knots and fun place! Employees were super nice and patient! Def recommend for family fun or trying to just get out
Thanks for the awesome pizza tonight! Glad we can support your awesome business during the shutdowns. Love all the updates you've done. The new floors look great!!
Bowling alley with retro arcade. Friendly staff and modern bowling electronics.
A bit more expensive than I'd like for food, but overall a good value for bowling. The video game area is nice. Appreciated being able to watch Seahawks and Mariners while bowling.
It's great for kids. I bring my kids here all the time. My kids love the arcade room and the food is a plus. We sometimes just come to play the arcade room. There is so much to do. They are even great for parties.
Awesome pizza and a great bowling experience - very cozy and pleasant atmosphere always. Make sure to come at a good time or call ahead though, it's a small place and occasionally all lanes will be full!
Good pizza! Kinda pricey for the quality and amount you get. But still good.
A lot of fun Cosmic bowling. They have military appreciation on Sunday nights.
The only place to go if you love garlic knots. ?? the owners are very nice and the place is updated. Good family fun
We always have a great time. family fun. Birthday parties. Pizza and beer and of course bowling winch can be even more fun when you don't know how lot of laughs and they have a great arcade PS the bars not too bad things are awesome no water there LOL
Bowling League here takes days off and then takes over the lanes whenever they want. Highly recommend calling before you arrive.
The feel of the lanes are off. The music is too loud and the people here smell like nuts. My poor experience is deserving of this review but others might enjoy. Take care now.
I came in with my girlfriend and her 4 year old son, who's autistic; we tried bowling by the hour and immediately found out he wasn't a fan of bowling shoes. The staff was super friendly, and automatically credited the hour of bowling towards arcade points.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
