Customer Reviews

This was a fun little in-door date night activity in December. It was a good price and I liked that you can make a reservation too. Added bonus was the optional app to record your score. It is a small & really warm location but we were lucky that it wasn't very busy.

What a fun place! Very reasonable for 18 holes, under a 1$ a hole. Staff was very friendly and helpful with booking. Strongly recommend to book ahead of time. The place is so cool, all the artwork is so well done and intricate. We'll thought out. Will be back!

Oh wow this was fun! They were pretty busy on a Saturday afternoon. The groups' tee off were perfectly spaced, so the only wait was for hole #1. It took about an hour for one round with 4 adults. Very cool black light environment! I will go again!

It was a very fun experience for $14 per person. I'd highly recommend it. They keep the putting greens very clean. It takes about 1 hour to play through with 2 people.

We went on New Years Day without having made a reservation ahead of time. Didn't have to wait too long for a tee time. Some of the arcade games were out of order, but other than that, everything seemed to be clean and well maintained. We had a blast!

We loved the glow put-put course. On such a hot day, it was great to find something indoors to do for the kids. Great price for 18 holes, $14. The arcade was nice as well.

This place is so much fun. We took our granddaughters and they had a blast! The staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend checking it out! You won't be disappointed!

definitely schedule ahead of time, this place gets very busy. beautiful glow on the dark settings, and the art is amazing. my only issue is when we started everything was fine but by hole 4 or 5 there was people in front of us who we had to wait for then as it went on you had to wait for every hole to be available, and the people in front of you were waiting for the people in front of them. they do their time slots 4 minutes apart from each other so the golf can get really backed up at times. otherwise, eve

Love, love, love, a whole room full of glow-in-the-dark Scenery. Very cool mini golf rather you are with your family or your friends. it is $14 a person and it took our group of three about 40 minutes. There's also a bunch of games and you can get a game pass to play for a certain amount of time. make sure you go to the website and make a reservation. This will guarantee you a spot at the time that you want to start.

Super fun indoor glow golf (putt-putt). 18 holes. It took my family of 3 about 45 mins to get through it. They have a small arcade and a restroom.

It's a lot smaller than I thought. The wait time was not bad but they should do a better job of spacing out the groups. It's also extremely hot on that small space.

Great indoor mini golf. AC is always nice. The black light course is popping with color. The balls and clubs glow in the black light as well as your clothes. The course was in great shape with a nice variety of challenges. Little pricy compared to other mini golf but it is a lot of fun.

The place is nice, but if you have a group of more than two people don't go. Took my son for his 12 birthday. I reserved a time slot for 7 people (5kids, 2 adults). They wanted to split the small party up into separate two separate groups, we requested for the kids to stay in one group. They rudely rushed us and made the experience uncomfortable.

Went with a group of friends and had lots of fun! I do wish you could keep your larger group together (we had 5 and needed to split into groups of 2 and 3), but I assume they split groups so that people can keep moving. Overall would recommend

ust a putting golf and arcade. The neon glow in the dark theme is pretty cool. But the place is small, they cramp 18 holes in there and some lame arcade units. Takes about an hour or so to go through all the holes with a group of people

Another great visit from Putting Edge! We go every time we visit friends in the area. Management is super friendly and accommodating. Such a good time. 100% will be back

Super fun 18 hole experience, didn't do the arcade for time sake but there were a good amount of games to play other than mini golf.

Nice mini golf course. It seemed clean and well maintained. Staff seemed kinda bored and apathetic, though I don't blame them I suppose. The course doesn't have any moving parts like windmills or anything, but it is a bit more complex than some other mini golf places I've been to. The decor is all neon colors under a blacklight. My two brothers and I played a round at 3 PM on a Wednesday, right after they opened. When we started nobody else was there, but two groups started playing right after us. Otherwise

The Putting Edge was the best indoor glow golf we've been to in Metro Detroit. Super clean, very cool course, price was fair, and I have to shout out the young man working the check in counter yesterday March 2nd around 1PM (I did not get his name) - super kind, accommodating (we were late and had a 3 year old), just overall absolutely wonderful customer service. Give him a raise! We'll definitely be back.

Great little putt putt course family and I had a blast

Novi Putting Edge is something we need in Ohio! It's the perfect indoor/glowing the dark Putt Putt place. It is good for all ages, the pricing is good for everything you get, and the place is pretty big inside! The atmosphere overall is cool. Would be a great date night or to take the kids out for fun! We highly recommend checking it out here for a quick 18!

We really had a great time, it was a fun place to hang out for the afternoon. The prices are high otherwise I'd give them 5 stars and probably go back in the future. I don't think we'll be returning because of how expensive it is for a round of golf per person.

Great place to take your significant other! We had a blast together! Totally worth the hour ride there, I'm sure we will be back!

The golf course and arcade were great! Super affordable and fun. Good prizes, arcade money goes a long way. Super fun atmosphere. Staff is friendly and helpful. Good appointment system.

Took my wife here for valentines. Kinda busy and felt a little rushed, still had a good time. Fun course visually however obstacles are very static.

The glow in the dark golf was fun with our family of 4. We got 100 additional tokens for an additional 20 bucks. Only 2 games worked.?? You can't get your money back so your only option is air hockey and a rollercoaster simulator game.?? Our total was 70 bucks. Was it worth it? Nah.

We had so much fun here! Miniature golf is our thing! Would come back again! I love the golf course, black light and the art was worthy to look at during our game.

I took my nephew there the day before he was flying to Kenya. He loved it!!! This was my 2nd time experiencing glow in dark mini golf. Reasonable prices. I would recommend this to anyone in a heartbeat, even as a date night activity. Receptionists were friendly and welcoming. They do have some other options in games. You can make a good evening out here as a couple or a group or family outing. We had a blast! Thank you for that!!!

What a cool place. Perfect for little kids to play and adults to sit and relax. The holes are pretty short. We recommend it.

This place is cool! 18 holes of indoor mini golf, in a black light environment. Highly recommend!

Had a great time I will say you feel rushed to get to the next course because there's people behind you waiting to play that hole but just the scenery and bright colors boost your spirits will go again.

TAKE NOTE: Don't step off the circle carpet to take a look around if you venture in to check out the place as a potential new customer. That's a No-No but with no signage or way to know that ahead of time. A gruff curly headed female will sternly chastise you that you have done a wrong thing. I respect the need for rules but I also need to be treated with respect as a fellow grown up human being. A friendly light hearted comment would have been enough (or simple visible sign) and left an overall more positi

The guy working today was awesome! We got in right when it opened and had a blast. Great place and even better employees!

Marissa is great at front desk. She took her own time to get her own Pok?mon cards to give my son. Thank you Marissa

This was a fun little spot to take the kids to. It's a full 18 hole Mini Putt Putt course which was cool. The employees working were kind as well. The only bad thing, which was just random, was that their system crashed so all we could do was putt putt. All in all though it was a good time.

So much fun and there are all kinds of activities around with in walking distance

We love it here and frequently visit It's clean staff is friendly management always quick to resolve any issue I've had. 10/10

This was a cool and fun place! Glow golf the kids loved it. However for just me and my son to play mini golf was $42 dollars!!! Are you kidding me. $21 a person!!!! That is way too over priced. And it's not like I could say sorry bud we are not golfing here now?..after the glow lights and paintings I was already hooked by the kids glowing eyes we were not leaving. Still don't charge that much! Families want to go out and have fun?.but not for $80 plus to play mini golf for a family of 4

Booked a reservation online, was able to get it same day and at the exact time that I wanted for a party of two. Although we arrived 10 minutes early we were able to start right away! It is a black light putting area with artwork all around to glow under the light. The balls and the clubs are made to glow under the light as well. The location was very clean and the staff were friendly. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was that we had to wait to move on to every hole for the people in front, and there

Putting Edge in novi was a great expierence. Totally fun outting with some close friends. Its a small course but beat my expectations for being an inside course. It is a little bit pricey for mini golf. But its worth it. Fun to do on the wet rainy spring days

If I could give this place more than a five star review, I would. I am not usually a huge fan of mini golf, but putting edge was super fun. It was vibrant and lively. the music was on point and I'm not sure who the two employees were at the front desk when I went, but they were SO kind. we showed up early and had a little bit of a wait, which was fine, but they made sure to apologize for the wait and checked up on us to see if we needed anything while we played around at the arcade for a bit. the establishm

Putting Golf: the course has 17 holes, they are pretty fun and more complex as you keep going. It's all bright fun lights. We went as two adults but I wouldn't mind bringing my younger kids to play here. They would enjoy themselves. Arcade: overall there were 12 games worth $1-1.50. Not much options for arcade. About three of the games were out of order and we had gotten $25 worth of games in so out options were slim. Attached is the prize we got collectively after we played the arcade. Good prize options

This place was really fun! My nephew and I finished the course (18 holes) in about 30 minutes, but I expect that it would take longer with small children. The design of the course with the glow in the dark decor is visually stunning. My only complaint is the same as some of the other reviews here: its quite warm inside. Since the building is closed to keep it dark inside (as it should be) the air conditioning should also be up higher so its comfortable. It was pretty much empty when we went and I was still

I noticed they removed the toilet seat and plunger. Was hoping that they changed up the scenery from 2010 but, not. It was okay.

Rude teenagers working the front desk. I had a party of 6 with no one in the building and they wanted us to split up. I will NEVER return. Also if I could have gotten my money back I would have not played even after the 45 minute drive. The whole time we were there there was no one playing at least 5 behind us. Waste of money honestly. I cannot respond to the response from the owners. But the fact that they cannot understand what a family is looking for in a joint activity shows with the responses. And of

I took my son for 18 holes and had an amazing time. The staff were super friendly and the place was clean and nicely decorated. For good family fun give them a look

It's okay, it's tiny with only a few arcade games to pass your time while you're awaiting your reservation, the manager and staff were MORE than pleasant, there is no food or beverages, it's just very quaint. Don't come in until 10/15 minutes before, so you don't tire your little ones and make them restless. It would be so awesome if they had a larger space or food and beverages so you could pass your time efficiently but we had a nice time and really appreciated the friendliness and warmth of the staff. Th

No matter what you are coming here for.. A date, for the family, or to just simply do something on your own ! Every time I come here I always leave with a smile and the thought of wanting to come back again ! Simply put ! A very fun place to go !!!!

I've worked in family entertainment for over 30 years. Putting edge does it right. Very clean and well maintained facility. Some of the best ticket redemption games available, and great staff that is friendly and helpful. An absolutely wonderful time for the whole family. Highly recommend.

Staff was nice. But that was about it. Not something to bring your small kids to as the courses are right on top of each other, there's zero walk zone between holes or off to the side to wait for other teams. Teams are sent to the start too soon after each other so it was really congested, on a Tuesday, I'd hate to see what it's like during the weekend. Definitely a place for kids 10+ as the littles will have no where to wait. Arcade games are $1-$2 where I feel most places are 2-6 credits so .50-$1.50. Pla

They have really made it real nice and cool in there . Golf was great as always . Enjoyed playing some video games before we left. Nice ,friendly, and always a good time . Just remember no cash !! Cards only !!

This place was super cool ??. I felt like a kid again. Plus free glow stick. Who can turn that down! Lol!

Decent miniature golf course with some pretty nice artwork. The arced has a decent game selection which is pretty standard, with a mix of classic and newer titles. The machines were in decent condition, and the staff was friendly. It's not the flashiest arcade in town, but it has a cozy vibe. The pricing is fair, and it's a nice spot for a casual gaming session. Overall, a straightforward, average Joe arcade that's worth a visit if you're in the mood for some simple gaming fun.

It was great, 1 star removed as it would have been nice if they had a liquor license or bar, or at least some hot food and drink options.

Such a fun experience! The mini golfing course was beautiful decorated. We started about 5 minutes after the previous couple but had to wait for them to finish their stop a few times. The gaming arcade area was pretty small but fun. Staff was very friendly and helpful

Coolest black light putt putt golf course, 18 holes plus a game room!! We had so much fun. The designs were awesome. Friendly employees.

Fun, holes seem easy but are not, which is great! Makes you think but have fun, arcade was great too, got lots of tickets!

Just had an amazing afternoon at Novi Putting Edge! The course is colorful and spotless. The black light really makes it a vivid sensory experience. Timothy was our guide and helped us understand how the reservation system worked and was an enthusiastic ambassador for our visit. He was just as enthusiastic when our five year old grandson used his tickets from the arcade to collect his prizes.

Had a blast with my kids! Neat experience ??

This would have been a MUCH nicer experience if it wasn't 80 degrees inside! We went to this indoor thinking OBVIOUSLY it would be nice and cool on this hot summer day but boy we were wrong. We were more happy walking out of this place than walking in! I asked the workers if their AC wasn't working and both poor ladies up front, drenched in sweat themselves, said it is on but its controlled by corporate! What kind of fools are running the show? Do yourself and your friends a favor and go somewhere else!

Me and a ten-year old took about 40 minutes to play though. Below average scores on the holes though. I do agree that for someone who plays a lot of mini golf it's a tad easy. The final hole isn't very exciting. The glow effect is vibrant and fun. I think $10 a person may be a better price but it's not terrible. The arcade is indeed small but all the games appear to function. I'd come again but not frequently

Very glowy. Decently difficult course. Very small arcade to kill time with

Very affordable fun! Clean. Nice staff. Be sure to make reservations first!

Putting Edge was super accommodating of our large group. They were friendly, helpful, and made it a great experience for all. Thank you to Brandon for making it a great time.

Great for indoor put put golf in the winter. Also has a small arcade area

Love the reservation style of play. Wasn't crowded at all. We had a great time!!

I'm not sure what happened to my pictures from before, but this is from the most recent trip. A nice birthday stop for some fun activities.

I had great experience! It was alot of Fun!

This place was pretty fun. It looks really cool inside and the staff were really nice.

This is a really neat indoor course with amazing props and wall murals in neon. You play under black lights! There is a small arcade too. Unfortunately, both times I have gone it has been SO HOT and stuffy! I had to go outside to cool off in the middle of our game today. Also, they have a small selection of bottled drinks, but no snacks at all which disappointed me. Still a really neat course to play!

Went there for a business get together. They were ready at it appointed time. Course wasn't too difficult so everyone had fun. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The staff is amazing and so attentive! They are down to earth and they were so nice!! 100% come here!

Great experience. Fun course. Great for all ages. We had a blast and enjoyed the cool course and displays. Only con I would say is that it is not handicap accessible and we would have loved if the air conditioner was on as it was very warm inside. ??

Disappointing. As many others have mentioned, the courses are small and completed very quickly (20 minutes for us). Parents of small children must pay full price to be able to watch and ensure they don't get hurt. The owner is apparently more concerned that someone might sneak a putt rather than guest safety. Not smart. I wasn't even going to leave a review until I saw the abrasive, rude owner responses. Also not smart. I imagine this place will go under soon with the sky high prices, mediocre courses, and

Nice miniature golf course, they are expensive though at $14, most other places are like $8.

Husband and son went this past weekend and kept winning the jackpot on one of the games. Had close to 10,000 tickets ?? I do think they need a few more games but my family enjoyed it.

Haven't had this much fun in quite a while. Took a spur of the moment date night decision and came here. Staff was phenomenal, very polite and accommodating. They were also super helpful when the prize we wanted was out of stock and allowed us a different choice. Having just moved back to the area after 5 years, this was one of our favorite date nights we have had in months. The arcade games (especially the clown ball throwing one) were super fun and reasonably priced. As for the course, the black lights m

Remembered this place being pretty fun, but made a reservation for our group of five and when we arrived they forced us to split into a group of 3 and 2. We didn't want to split up our group so we asked for a refund and they refused to give it. This place is a huge rip-off and the teenagers running the place are obnoxious.

I never went here. My boyfriend didn't want to go. I wanted to.

Lots of fun - employees are a little rigid about start of your golf reservation. Other than that, had a good time for everyone!

Brandon was very nice, very helpful. It was our first time, we had 7 people we all had fun. Very clean and nice, will return ??

Disappointed that this place doesn't accept cash, which is a basic expectation for any business. To make matters worse, they overcharge for a simple round of putt-putt?$42 for 3 is ridiculous for what you get. Not worth the money or the inconvenience.

Had a great time took about half an hour. The course is fun and the glowing art is awesome. I only wished it was longer and had moving obstacles. Great if your a family looking for something new

Absolutely had a great time. Nice idea for a date. You don't have to be a kid to come enjoy the 19 innings of putput if your competitive this is also another place to come. I enjoyed myself and the staff was very helpful and alert when it came to getting help showing you around and showing you how to play the game on your phone to keep up with the points

Best glow golf I've ever been to! Super fun course and atmosphere. Arcade is limited and it was a bit hot inside, but the golf course is so cool it more then makes up for it.

had a great outing with friends. course was clean and the lady at the front desk was very helpful. She even let us purchase a game card even though they were closed!

Great indoor mini golf on cold winter days or even hot summer days! Marissa and Tim were friendly and helpful even after closing time. Very fun and challenging course. Beats all other glow golf I've experienced in the area!

The idea is awesome! But the execution gets a 3/10. The 18 holes (really only 17) were crammed in a little tiny area and the arcade only had about 5 games in it. Staff was very friendly and we still had a good time.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are virtual reality games in arcades worth playing?

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
