I don't know much about them, just that my grandson takes lessons there. Everyone seems to be friendly and you can purchase snacks too. This is not your typical "back-alley"gaming center. ?? Sorry I just had to say it. Check it out.
Great place, I always enjoy coming here, friendly staff and owner. I come here mainly to play overwatch but they have other games such as black ops, csgo, pubg, fortnite. Not only do they have PCs but also Consoles (Xbox one, Wii U, PS4) I seen mostly fighting games being played (Super smash Bros, tekken, Mortal Kombat and more). They have a GameCube, guitar hero, VR, setup for racing games (wheel and pedals). They also play tabletop and board games, Trading card games (yugioh, magic, pokemon) they have a ro
Went there for my best friend's birthday party. The absolute best gaming experience playing Friday the 13th in a basement with the lights shut off with tons of your friends! I would recommend renting the place out to anybody for an event (i know my club is going to!) The staff is great and only added to the experience, plus the Vive was cool.
Wonderful gaming lounge and wonderful experiences. The owner and employees are all friendly and helpful. Played here weekly for an Overwatch league and was welcomed every time. NYPB were gracious hosts for our league and everyone had a fun time there.
Absolutely LOVE NYPB. It's spo nice ti have a fun and safe place for my teenagers to hang out with their friends. They have every gaming system imaginable plus. The staff is so friendly aced knowledgable. Highly recommend.
Great staff and very nice and personable owner. A lot of great deals and a lot of games available on the PC's. A lot of retro games are available along with Xbox 1 and PS4. They have a lot of options with board games and trading card games as well. I recommend to all of my friends and it is a great addition to Racine!
Had my son's grad party here and as always, they had a blast. So much to do! Gaming PCs DnD tabletop, and all the consoles you could want. My inner nerd really wishes these venues were around when I was growing up.
Though their space is a little hidden these guys are AMAZING people!! The space they have set up is wonderful!! And, for me being a girl, i feel very welcomed and never judged
Had a blast with my little ones today in the NYPB! Very nice and clean setup with great equipment. Staff was very friendly and helpful. A deffinate revisit.
Great staff, fun environment, seemingly infinite amount of games in their arsenal. A little pricey but so worth it. Wont be disappointed.
Location is hard to find sense it's in a back alley but it's hidden gem. Great staff and great community. Lots of fun deals and events planned all the time.
I've been to this gaming lounge about twice a month, and it never ceases to amaze me. The entrance is in an alley right next to the town square, with a red door. The workers are really kind, and the general community is very friendly.
Owners kind and welcoming, staff easy to talk to, card prices more than fair. That's what I wanted and that's what I got; easy 5 for this place.
I think it's one of the best gaming lounges out there. They really took there time with this and they made a friendly environment out of it for all gamers to come and meet new people.

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
