Great place to bring the kids for some fun away from their devices. Priced reasonably well. There's a bi-level go-kart track. Track layout not the greatest because there was not a long enough straight away to get good lap times. Very good instructional videos, staff are really great here. Trampoline area was not my thing because I'm too old and it hurts my knees to jump on it, but the kids seem to have enjoyed it especially the basketball and foam pit. Arcade games are basic but that's alright. The laser ta
Overall, the place has a lot of amusements to offer young kids and preteens. Very similar to the Pizza Ranch down the street minus the pizza. They do have some concessions available. The downside?the rules enforcement has to improve on the go-karting track. It's a tight track to start with, and at first glance, looks really cool. I raced with my two preteen kids, all in separate karts. Attendants watched on as kids and teenagers violated track rules and failed to abide by the safety standards without any in
I went here with my coworkers from FedEx and had a lot of fun axe throwing and go-karting. The staff are very friendly and helpful and gladly provide tips for axe-throwing newbies. Along with those attractions, they have trampolines, laser tag, and arcade games, so there is fun for everyone. I recommend reserving a slot ahead of time and arriving early so you can fill out waiver forms. Overall, a great experience that I would recommend to anyone, and it's especially fun with family or a group of friends. Re
Two friends and I checked this place out last night, based on the high star rating and positive reviews, and we were not disappointed in the least!! We were truly Blown Away by how friggin? awesome and amazing of a hidden gem it is!!! For about $15 per hour of play, you get Unlimited wristband access to: the trampoline park (with a basketball dunking area), trampoline dodgeball, a trampoline foam pit, laser tag, and the 4-player virtual reality game area!!! And there's also a pay-to-play arcade with tons o
Great place for the kids to go! Can't wait to see what it looks like after they get some of the construction done. Only downfall was there was no concessions or food. Only drinks and Ice Cream! We will be back for the Go Karts!
Truthfully, the most fun for the money. I was very impressed with the price of admission, food, and gaming. My two girls ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. Thank you to the staff, Nicholas and team was awesome.
Fun places, love the trampoline park, the go carts are fun but their so expensive that I could use the money to pay for gasoline. I wish they wouldn't have removed the inflatables they were more fun.
Very Great fun place to be! Me and my friends went there and went on go karts and everything else! If you want to have some fun, go here!
It had a lot of great atmosphere, but sometimes just too loud. Otherwise it is pretty fun to go with your friends.
We all had a blast doing one hour of trampoline, laser tag, and VR. The staff was helpful and friendly! Special thanks to Justin he had lots of patience
We had such a fun birthday party here! Their new go cart track looks amazing!
Tons of space for all the kids!! I was pleasantly surprised at how much fun the adults and kids had.
The best action park in the are by far for all ages!!! Go Carts are very fun very fast! Well worth the wait for the opening of the Go Carts. Trampolines always a hit with the kids. Kids also always love the foam pit. Did laser tag tonight too, very fun! We will be back for sure! Highly recommended to anyone.
We held a work get together at Northern Air Action Park and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to have a gathering. Brian and his staff were very accommodating, and they made it a fun evening for all of us. Two thumbs up!
Super fun. We would definitely take our kids more often if it was more affordable or had a family price. The staff is great. The arcade is ok. Not much of a payout on prizes.
We had a birthday party in Norther Air. Overall, the experience was so so. The prices were high and they had some hidden charges (although not much it did not make you comfortable). The services were also so so - several things were behind the schedule that they set up.
I am so angry with how my grandson was treated today! He and his siblings have been looking forward to the go carts to celebrate their birthdays. The three of them are not triplets but could be mistaken as they are all alike. The twins were allowed to ride but the youngest who is 9 and the same height as the 10 year olds was not. Why! He met the age and height requirements! You should be ashamed. He was excluded from his own birthday fun! we will never be coming back to your business again! Get your act tog
Made it easy to have a kids bday party. They provided plates, and forks. All I had to do was bring cake.
We had a great experience at Northern Air! Staff was friendly and accommodating. We made the trip from Bemidji and had somehow forgotten our cupcakes. When we were out doing activities the staff had gone out and purchased cupcakes. I was beyond grateful for the kind gesture. Everyone had a blast and I would highly recommend to family and friends. We will definitely make the trip again soon.
I had my first experience here about 10 years ago for my daughter's birthday party and then again the next year. She is 17 now we just had her 3 year old niece's bday there. The big kids had just as much fun as the little kids!!! They did such an amazing job and when I ordered about $100 worth of too much Brian was super helpful and trimmed it it down to fit what we needed. We all had an amazing experience!! From 30 yrs all the way down to 3yrs. Thank you!! And we will be back!!
THE GO-KARTS. WOW!! Fun and fast!! Booking the go-karts was easy and the staff are all very professional and thorough with the initial walkthrough. They clearly state and prepare you for what's to be expected on the track and what they expect of you. The karts themselves are very responsive and turn on a dime. The track is easy to learn and very well laid out. I will 100% be coming back to race again.
The manager was so rude to his employees. They looked very overwhelmed with the big crowd. Aside from that, the kids had fun. The VR was really interesting and the foam pit was a blast. Hope the poor workers are being paid well though! Very fun experience
Great place for birthday fun. Kids loved it. Wonderful staff and facility is well maintained and very clean. Grandsons 8 and 6 can't wait to go back. Staff was wonderful and interacted with the kids. You could tell the staff enjoyed their jobs.
So signs alllll over that say no food or drink allowed in side. I go in, boom, like 5 people have their cute little coffee mugs and special tumblers with whatever they wanted in them. Could be coffee. it could be an alcoholic beverage. Who knows, right, because it's safe if you don't know what's in it. But as soon as you leave to get an energy, drink yourself and bring it in....all hell breaks lose. While I'm running on empty from working 60 hours and trying to be awake during my daughter's birthday party
Took all three kids there on our youngest son's golden 7th birthday. We penciled it in for a couple hours of filler as we already had a lengthy weekend planned. All five of us had a total blast and it wasn't because of one specific reason or instance, but just everything. The facility was nice, extremely clean, staffed properly and attentively. Brian, who I think was the owner, was amazing at making sure we all knew what to do and what to expect. So passionate about making sure we could all REALLY engage
Prices are crazy high for what you get. The staff was very unfriendly including the owner. We had to wait 15 minutes just to get ice cream. Check out escape Jr if your looking for kid friendly fun. The kids also loved creatively uncorked. Would not recommend.
Went for our first time for a little Sunday Funday. A little spendy for a family of 4. About $70 for 1 hour. I didn't know you had to purchase their socks to jump- but on the plus, they are reusable and you can save money if you bring them back next time. The staff is very nice and upbeat. A little disorganized at the VR station as far as lines and waiting goes. They did not sanitize or wipe off the VR equipment in between people, so we skipped it this visit. Arcade was fun and ice cream was yummy! My kids
Wayyyyyyy over priced for what you get. Staff was fine. A lot of broken games. Don't forget to buys socks. Save your money and buy your own trampoline. Wont take long if you have more than 1 child.
We went here over the weekend and had a lot of fun with our two-year-old. From the trampolines to the inflatables, to the train (daughter's favorite), to the arcade, we had a lot of fun. It's a great place to have here in Grand Forks in the winter. It is pretty spendy though. We would definitely visit more often if the prices were lower. That said, I believe they have specials during certain hours with reduced rates, or at least this used to be the case.
its it so good the food the lazer tag everything is good there
Alot of fun things to do and really we well staffed to watch over the kids safety. Sadly its extremely overpriced for the small amount of time your kids get. But fun!
Super fun place to take the entire family. The staff was helpful and made sure everyone was taken care of. Heads up. When we went every child needed to have a parent present to sign waivers for injuries. I agree and understand they're covering their bases, but I can see some people getting upset over this.
10 out of 10! I highly recommend! Both Jordan & Bryan were amazing and took the time to show our group the ropes. They made us feel welcomed and answered all of our questions. We can't wait to come back again for some more axe throwing!
The staff was less than enthused to be working, but were helpful when asked questions. The bathrooms could use a update, the floors were uneven and some stall doors wouldn't lock. It's an OK place to visit if you want your kids to burn off energy, but the overall look and feel could use some work.
The owners are amazing people! I had to finally add this to my review. We visited for my daughter's 3rd bithday back in may. On google the hours are wrong. We got there and it was closed. They were there and opened it up just for my little girl to jump! She had an amzing birthday because of these kind hearted people! And this happend after the review i had already posted below! This is better then sky zone in fargo in my opinion because they have more to do. It's not just trampolines it's a arcade and ice
Unfortunately my review is being updated to a 1 star from a 4. We went today and the 2 boys working the laser tag were both horrible. First kid was younger maybe 16. And 2 preteen boys bullied a group of little girls pushing them and hitting them with their guns and he did nothing about it. Then the next dude who's an adult was super disrespectful, condescending and rude. He asked if we had any questions about the rules we all said no. Then he opened the door to start. 2 people left the room to play and a g
My grandson and his friends had a great time. Enjoyed the trampolines, the laser tag, and the VR games. Have been many times and will be back many more. If they had Mt Dew for me to drink it would've been 5 stars, but the root beer and lemonade are decent alternatives.
We went last year for the first time as a family to play in the arcade room and it was ok. Although at the time about a 3rd of the games weren't working and didn't have any out of order signs on them. I had to get a staff member to help my daughter with the crane game that got jammed and when she walked away she accused my daughter of yelling at her! I was standing right there and my daughter didn't say anything to her, plus it made her feel bad.....Way to go! We haven't been back since then but putting tha
Fun place to take the kids for a afternoon of bouncy houses and trampolines and games. They even have Lazer tag. They have a snack shop to get a variety of food and drink items. You can also have a birthday party catered by the pizza ranch in Grand forks. I found the employees generally friendly and don't forget to ride the kids train when your there. The only negative thing I have to comment on is I feel it was a little pricey per child. But the kids had fun and that's what life is about, smiles on your ch
Excellent staff. They took the time to play my daughter to rid her fear of the foam pit. Stacking the blocks so she could jump through them or showing her how bounce off the walls. Greatly appreciate the time and effort and they seemed happy to do so!
Heck of a lot of fun. Very safe environment for chucking axes about.
Northern Air is a facility that combines an arcade, laser tag, trampoline park, and a bouncy castle area, all under one roof. The process are pretty reasonable and the only hassle is filling out a waiver upon arrival (but this can be done online beforehand). The staff here was very accommodating during my son's birthday party and this is a simple place that my kids always like to visit.
Fun place for kids, but don't get hungry if you have a dairy allergy. The food options are ice cream (no gelato) and pizza. The pizza is from Marco's and you can't order any non-pizza item from the menu. They also won't let you order DoorDash citing "no outside food or drink". Again, the facility itself is fine. It's just really dumb how restrictive they are on food with how few options they have. I'd be more understanding if they at least sold corn dogs, hot dogs, sandwiches, etc. UPDATE: Thank you to th
ALWAYS fun to visit. The staff is courteous and friendly, the attractions are entertaining and varied. They have also been planning and implementing new things every time I visit. We had a GREAT birthday party here.
What a Great day jumping Lazer tag and food also video games prizes wow party ???? rooms are great ?? massage chairs in March they get go carts and for people who have asma bring an inhaler. Very very fun nice way to get all the energy out also great way to exercise running and jumping. They have an arcade and ice cream little shop. Very fun 10/10. Great great prizes!!!!!!
Fun time for the kids on trampolines. They miss the bouncy houses, but go carts sound like an okay tradeoff. Friendly staff. Great way to burn energy during winter too.
Kids had fun. Place seems to be managed well. Waiver website was buggy so we had to use the computer in their lobby. Their small "one scoop" ice cream is really big, so that's good and bad.
Customer service with two different people was rude and altogether not a great experience especially finding out the bounce houses are permanently closed yet it doesn't say that on the website. And as it is a bit overpriced with next to no seating by the trampolines was annoying. Would recommend to someone again
I love this place!! Employees are kind, friendly, and work hard! I love the new updates too!!
Gets boring within the hour on the trampolines. The foam pit looks like it needs to be clean as well. Other than that, great way to burn a lot of calories! Great laser tag, fun bouncy castles for kids, good variety of arcade games....
Just left their establishement. Had tons of fun until I rolled my ankle hard trying to do tricks that a man of my size and no acrobatic training should have been attempting. The staff helped me in every way they could. Great people. Clean facility. Lots of fun. Just don't do stupid things out of your capability range.
For a family oriented place of business in the community it's pretty disappointing that they will tow anyone parked in the lot that is attending the competition this weekend at Red River Valley Gymnastics on Sunday. And hiring Pro Dog Security in case things get out of control, really? What a joke! Way to show the greater Grand Forks Community and your neighbors how business is conducted at Northern Air. Good Job!????
My 11 year old and I had sooo much fun!! We have been going there for awhile now and we will definitely be going back!
Clean! Staff was super-friendly and helpful. Would get 5 stars, but you can't buy less than one hour trampoline time, which would be nice when you're regaining fitness levels.
This place is ridiculously fun. At $12 / hour (rate in 2016), it seems a bit expensive. But an hour is about the perfect amount of time to wear yourself out having fun on the trampolines.
My daughter and loved coming to Northern Air. She also enjoyed going to 'Jump N Jam' on the weekends. They just recently changed the rules for 'Jump N Jam' however, and you have to be 10 years old to attend, even if you have a parent with but you're under 10 years old, they still will not let you attend. My daughter walked out of their with tears in her eyes, as she and two of her friends had been planning on going to 'Jump N Jam' all day. We will still go to Northern Air, as it's very fun and the only plac
Axe throwing is now our favorite! We went for an adult night out and ended up joining the doubles league. Brian and Jordan are always so accommodating and go out of their way to teach you.
I'm glad this is an option in GrandForks the kids had a blast. They did laser tag the virtual gaming area and the trampoline park. The staff was good to them too, playing dodgeball with them and helping them with the gear.
Busy fun place that the kids enjoyed. I also liked they went to bed early from burning off all that energy. Staff was nice and place was clean. Always a good winter activity.
idk what her name is, but there was this super cool lady that did vr with us. it was me n 2 guys, and she was really fun and helped us have a great time! whoever she was, you should give her a raise
My grandkids love this place, wish it was a little more open so when it is busy you could still watch
Had an awesome experience axe throwing here! Friendly staff that goes the extra mile to serve guests. Love it, will definitely be returning!
Fun place, not enough ice on the virtual reality simulator, but it is understandable with how many people want to utilize it. Laser tag is a blast, and the kids love all the jumping activities.
Extremely busy this visit. Not as enjoyable with so many people and longer than normal wait times. Workers were clearly trying their best, but overwhelmed.
Always fun, jumping and games are affordable. Go Karting is a tad pricey. Worth it imo
Visiting family in town? We had an awesome time, tons of fun things to do for the whole family! Highly recommend ????
Great place to bring the kids. And they also have good sanitation standards so it's clean! 5/5 stars
Super fun great for kids or anyone really, alittle spendy but it's a great experience and an hour in there is more than enough time unless your 10 it's exhausting
Wow, the smell in this place is absolutely disgusting. Time to deep clean.... I mean it was awful , it smelt like sewer and sweat ??
Alright jus wish they had things 4 toddler's. An thee way we got our good delivered 2 from pizza Ranch. Guy jus walked in an Dropped food on table ..
Northern Air hired a security company, along with using strong verbiage and signs this weekend soley to threaten the neighbors and ensure that nobody visiting the gym next door parked on their side of the parking lot. However these hired goons have their patrons parking on the gym side. Beware, the owner and company are nothing but obnoxious bullies. Would rate lower if possible.
My son loves this place. I enjoy the Lazer tag the most. Hi the son editing here I am very sorry my mom gave this place a 4 star rating
Great place to take my grandkids to burn off energy. 1 hour pass does us all in
Their socks are now required. Very nice time without jumpers in bare feet. Not sure what the sock charge is, but 2 of us for an hour was $26
We had a great time! Laser tag, tramps and arcade. Topped off with a little ice cream. Perfect day! Highly recommended.
We had so much fun with our grandson and his favorite was Lazar tag will be back
After receiving multiple threats about parking in front of their building when visiting the business attached to Northern Air, I arrived at the site where they had hired security goons to police their parking lot this weekend and hassle anyone visiting the other building. However, the hired goons were seen allowing Northern Air patons to park in front of the gym next door and use their limited space that was needed to host hundreds of out of town visitors. The owner is a hypocritical thug and I wouldn't w
Like the bronze and silver pass..but spent most of time standing in line. Would be good if they had a system where you could take a number and go jump until your number is called in order to avoid spending most of your time in line
Played laser tag with my niece and a few other members of my extended family. Totally awesome! Hadn't played laser tag since the early 90s. Brought me back
I had a blast there. The trampolines were awesome along with the laser tag and vr headsets.
If you're looking for an amazing day of fun I definitely recommend Northern Air. The bouncy panels can provide hours of fun and the laser tag is AWESOME!!!
Freezing cold, with no hot food options and arent allowed to bring your own. Also have to now purchase socks separate and they must be their socks.
Always have so much family fun when we come here, 1st time playing laser tag and the kids loved it!!
Top notch, affordable, spacious, great staff, a nice comfortable atmosphere for the kids to go wild and still feel safe!
Had a birthday party there. Always a great time, and the staff were wonderful. No complaints. Thanks!
The only place in town for kids to go and have fun. Really need more kid based activities other than choice fitness in grand forks
Even though I didn't do a lot of bouncing myself, watching the kids and grandkids was worth it. Very fun, family friendly.
Great indoor activity's, perfect for our long winters, fun VR game, could use a couple of other activities like a climbing wall, monkey bars over a foam pit, perhaps a running wall.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
