Customer Reviews

It was our first time to visit - Family of 4 & paid around $60 for an hr - the menus are available on each bar stool table First walking in the staff was not helpful - we were standing at the counter for a while then decided on using the kiosks for the self service option- after standing around waiting for service a lovely young lady asked if we needed shoes & was very kind, answered all the questions when asked - only staff that was actually helpful- I wish I would have asked her name - we arrived around

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff, great amenities. Pizza looks good. They have a beer tap wall that is self serve. Just scan your bracelet for per on your tab and bud lite is only 32 cents per ounce

Great food, great bar, great Lanes, great staff, sexy security. What more can you ask for? Oh, how could I forget, great DJ too! Dude has excellent taste in music and he's a natural on the mic.

Normally I'm happy with the lanes and bowling alley self staff is awesome however when half the bowling alley is reserved so you don't get too long to bowl; or no lanes are open until 3pm without notice unless it's a post it on the door when they don't update their page Facebook or website to if lanes are open or not. Tried to go today and it said no lanes open until 3pm tried looking through the website and Facebook and it's twitter hasn't been updated in month. Maybe keep better track of your pages and le

Best bowling alley in NE! I had my 7 year olds bday here. They were amazing!! Lucas was our host and I will absolutely request him again!! Thank you Lucas!

Really nice bowling alley, lots of lanes, cool layout. Nice ambiance, plenty of free parking and best of all easy to find. Additionally, great drink selection, lots of beers on tap and I'm bottles. The kids and I had a great time. Also forgot to mention the pizza and food was great. Recommended, just be sure to reserve ahead of time.

Had a small problem at the start of booking my daughter's birthday party, I guess the scheduler was out for the day, I just wish someone would of just told me that instead of playing phone tag all day. But,, we had a great time my daughter was as happy as could be! We all had a great time, everything went flawlessly, our Host, Abby was great and I would recommend the teen birthday party for everyone. It was well worth the money spent.

Clean, fun, easy to book ahead. Easy process to get drinks and food while you're there. Pretzels with cheese were really good! Fun atmosphere too. Will definitely be back.

I stopped in there today for the first time and I am absolutely in love with how the place looks it's clean the manager on duty they were very helpful very friendly and I spent 4 hours of my day almost love this place new favorite spot

Enjoyed visiting for the Bowl Your Brains Out promo which is $10 for unlimited bowling after 9pm on certain days. Everything looked to have been recently redone and looked great! The lanes were clean and had plastic dividers between every two lanes, music was current and diverse, and the bowling computer system has tons of options to customize your bowling experience. Staff was very friendly and helpful with explaining the beer wall to us--you show your ID and leave a card to charge your drinks to, receive

Had a wonderful time with my family tonight. Spent some cash on games and then did a double game of bowling.

Wonderful place to spend a couple of hours with kids and friends. I recommend it as well for birthday parties and small group parties.

Second year in a row we held our sons birthday at Northbowl. Staff was awesome. Our party hosts went above and beyond for our birthday boy. On our drive home my son said this was the best birthday yet! Thank you!

Auntie, Pedder, and I went here for a fun Sunday afternoon. We all enjoyed ourselves very much. The place is very large. We played in lane #40. There's a very large assortment of different weighted bowling balls to try out. The atmosphere was very upbeat. Lots of flashing , colored lights, 80's video music playing on screens everywhere. We ordered a Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza, and Mac n Cheese Bites. Both were very good. There's a large gameroom arcade, and a Beer Wall. All in all a very enjoyable way

Nice bowling ally but it's got it's flaws that will make me hesitate to go back. Had to reserve my lanes before going there and couldn't get my lanes and shoes prior to bowling. So basically my bowl time is cut into with sign ins and waiting for my shoes and making sure we've have the right sizes opposed to starting my time when we start bowling. Then we tried to extend our time and denied. Also we couldn't get a refund in and extra lane we ordered that we didn't need. Instead we were told we can only get c

Great experience for a 6 year old bday party. Everyone had a blast. I highly recommend it! fun for children and adults.

North Bowl Lanes is the best! We have booked a fundraiser there every year and they are so accommodating, friendly and truly want the best for our organization! Thank you to all at North Bowl Lanes!

This place is fun! The arcade has a good variety of games. The lanes are well maintained. The music is at the right volume to hear it well but not so loud so you can't talk. The bumpers, if needed, rise and fall automatically for each player. They have food, a full bar, and of course there's the Wall of Beer! You buy a bracelet which allows you to pour your own beer so you can try different flavors or just have more of your favorite at your discretion; it charges by the ounce.

Had a lemon drop martini from here today and it came in a tiny plastic cup that had like 3 sips in it. The bartender did not know what she was doing, she poured a little vodka, didn't shake it in ice, and squeezed a lemon in it. It was 11 dollars and terrible. Had to ask for ice after because it was warm.

Great family friendly bowling spot. Sunday night bowl is cheaper but beware of the karaoke goers who should really be in therapy. Lol.

Kids had a blast at their cousins birthday party! The host was very attentive when I mentioned the soda tasted off, he quickly brought a new pitcher! Bowling was fun and overall 10/10!

This place is 20 lanes of pure bliss and fun if you like bowling. Strike Up a Good Time and a fun-filled outing with friends and family. Along with the entertainment, you can grab some beer and quick bites, pizza fries, etc. Get into your friendly competition spirit whether you're a seasoned pro or a bowling newbie. The comfortable seating and vibrant lighting, creates the perfect backdrop for a memorable night out. The automatic scoring is clearz the alleys well maintained so that, you can focus on having

Went for a double date night. Heard about this place & glad I came. Loved the environment & Food. Only critique I have is the music wasn't good. Should had more hip hop & R&B music playing then all of old school rock & such. Hard to concentrate & bowl to same type of music.

Very fun place. Great for the kids and adults. Had a blast bowling

Always had good experience there bit pricey on the weekends but usually have very good packages through out the weekdays. They also have food and drinks available and arcade games for kids.

I bowl here very frequently and the staff is amazing! Shoutout to Steve, Maria, and Casey!!Many leagues to pick from and open great hours with amazing specials!

Clean, well maintained bowling alley! Online reservations were easy and clearly explained. The building was super clean. Food service was lacking. Scrictly fried foods and pizza. Pricey for what you get.

We did the New years Eve party/ my son birthday also had great time

A wonderful place for having fun togheter, enjoying bowling foods drinks and music

Reserved a lane online for cosmic bowling with the grandkids over school vacation, visited the arcade for a few games afterward. Everyone had fun!

Have recieved the absolute poorest treatment both times i have come here. The first was 8/6 and the manager was horribly rude telling me that they were not open to till noon. Then i returned the following week to be met with a bunch of other parents being told ? we are closed to the public today- all day. The whole day. ?. She was absolutely awful. We will not be back ever.

Been going here since I was a kid and all of the improvements they've made over the years have been more than worth it. So excited to bring my own kids here to make their own memories and meet up with our friends

So much fun. Clean and efficient

I've never left a review on a business but this I had to. Terrible place to go for a birthday or decent group outing. They charge $25 if you bring your own cake into their establishment JUST BECAUSE. They don't refrigerate the cake, cut the cake, or have anything to do with the cake but they still charge $25 and hold that over your head until you pay. They literally locked down our lanes until we paid. $25 is nothing but it's principal, why in the world are they charging people to bring things into their bu

Dont think your getting out without spending a small fortune, bar drinks ridiculously over priced. I watched multiple people questioning pricing.

Our 7-yr old had an awesome time celebrating his birthday here! The private room option was perfect, and the four lanes they offered for all 20 kids ensured they all had a chance to play. I have to say it was impressive that they served all 13 pizzas within 10 minutes or so, very fast! The game room is a good size for this age group, but at a birthday party expect the ticket redemption line to be backed up like the Braintree split at rush hour.

Brandon absolutely saved us! We had a problem on our phones end that glitched the times we reserved. And they made sure to absolutely fit us in at a time that worked for our family?s needs. I'm so grateful because we love this environment. This locations team is professional, friendly, and accommodating. Highly recommend!

We travel 30 minutes away to bowl here even though we have a bowling alley 5 minutes down the street from our home. This establishment is modern and has a vibrant and exciting atmosphere! It is clean and a great place to go with kids or on a date!! We love to go on the weekends in the evenings because it is lit?literally! Music and cosmic bowling, full bar and food?even an arcade! A whole experience, definitely check it out! We go at least once a month, especially in the winter when there is not much to do

Great place to bring the kids.

5 STRATS FOR KAYSIE professional welcoming this is why illl come back.

The updated space is great and the early morning family special is very much worth it!

Overpriced and poorly managed. As a parent of a kid?s birthday party I have to say this was one of the worst places to have a party. The kitchen was in absolute chaos and if we didn't ask, I'm sure they forgot about our food, (which was somehow cold when it arrived). We brought our own cake which they could not store for us so it was just on the small 1foot bar counter waiting to be knocked over at any moment. There was hardly any room for 8 people and it took us about a 1/2 hour to pay the bill once we rec

Had our 9 year old grandson bday party. Kids had a great time. Pizza is homemade. Ckean and nice. Going today with grandson with free coupons

Great service, not cheap to bowl, look for specials.

Great place to have some family fun

...damn... I can be a good bowler...

So cute great for big events! Consoles were so cool! Clean areas, clean bathrooms, well organized. Pizza was ok. Staff was wonderful. One caveat, we were there for an elementary school event and the videos playing on their screens, and there were a lot of screens, was not exactly age appropriate. Other than that totally recommend.

Very bad staff, we was playing and every 3-5 shoot stop and we have to wait for the employee come.(is no the best customer service, no friendly) we pay for hours but we loose Maybe half waiting for the employee, and reset the to continue playing. Ho sure we back to that place.

Been coming here since I was a child now almost 40 yrs old. The systems have been updated recently and make for a fun time. Happy to see "rock n bowl" is still going on for the teens. Went with my family for a bday activity and had a blast. The food is acceptable and the music is good. Kid friendly and updated arcade area.

Reasonable prices. Fun atmosphere.

fun games/pLace to take kids who want to pLay some arcade type game, you win tickets & cash them in for prizes. aLso have bowLing, very kind friendLy/down to earth staff, great food & drinks! cooL Lighting in the bowLing aLLey! had a LIVE DJ too! I'd highLy reccomend this pLace for famiLies just Looking for something fun to do, even to adult couples for a different kinda date night! I had a Lotta fun here!

Spent a lot of money for a tournament for about 160 people. They started us late and had the scoring boards completely wrong, we had to start all over. Then shut us down after 2 strings. Oh and we had all 40 lanes. As the owner responded they did us right, just to bad it happened.

Our family had a blast! We hadn't been bowling in years. It was a fun and cheap night out.

When did bowling get so expensive? But?you soon forget about that and have a ton of fun. It's always good to support your local bowling alley, even in the toughest of times. Lanes were clean, plenty of balls to choose from. Pro tip- plan ahead and ask when the best times are to go to avoid waiting.

We attended a birthday party here. They have big balls for bowling and a decent size arcade. Lord of claw machines. The bowling alley is really nice with TVs everywhere. Good size party room. The pizza though for the party was like shoe leather and burnt to crisp.

Terrible service would never go back. Everyone was very rude

It's always a pleasant experience to come here. The staff we've had at the register is always kind and expediting, and we get right to play. Lots of fun here

This place is usually pretty good every time I go there. Even when it's busy the service is still relatively quick, and the prices are good. The only downside is sometimes the people can be a little rude/short with you, more so if it's busy. Other than that no complaints.

Been coming here for years. Great place to see familiar faces.

Absolutely Terrible! Don't order food from here. We ordered before our bowling game started, then they made us wait for such a long time that I had to walk up to the counter and ask what's taking so long, and the guy at the counter was rude and arrogant , and had a huge attitude saying that they will bring the food to our lane when it's ready. They still took forever to bring the food to our lane. We finally got it at the end of our two games when we were ready to leave. Then the food came and it was horrib

I brought my whole family there and we had a great time. I don't think the staff get enough credit for their hospitality. James was incredible he had our food out as quickly as he could and it tasted amazingy grandson are all his chicken tenders and wanted more. They were very busy last night but the whole staff made you feel welcome. Thank you Northbowl for a great night.

The employee service was terrible. The bathrooms were super dirty and smelled very bad. The machines stopped and you had to wait for the employees who took a long time talking to friends and on cell phones. The service was terrible. I don't recommend this place at all.

So this was the first time being there, so I'll have to give it another shot someday. So, then service was super bizarre. They charged by time (not by game) and our lane refused to reset. We checked in and was told someone would be there. For a good 10-15 minutes, they didn't show up so we had to ask again. Someone did fix the lane, but didn't offer to stop the clock or reimburse us for the time lost. Fine. Behind the bar and the food service was bizarre as well. Food missed half our order and the nearly e

Besides prices being up at 25 .. that's a joke.. um everything seems ok.. drop down your food prices by 3 bucks you be fine.. bowling should be $12 ... That's good enough I checked out your taxes on public records no reason rising that up

Had my mother's 80th birthday party here, that's what she wanted to do, and everything was fabulous!!! Would highly recommend!

Great place for kids and adults. The food was good, just served in small portions. All the games in the arcade section are not working. The bowling was great, lots of fun, and great atmosphere.

Great spot. Reasonable prices. Good food.

Had a great time. PIZZA was delicious! Staff was excellent except for the bartender,he was kind of rude and had no interest in taking care of us, which is why we tipped everyone including the sweet girl that brought us our pizza (she had made) and left the bartender 0. Our 1st time there. Will definitely go back.

Great place for the maximum family fun at a low price. We visit here often and always leave with prizes better than any other place i know of.

Profiled us from the moment we walked through the door. Very rude customer service. Very aggressive staff. They do not do shots or serve long islands. They put a drop a liquor in the drinks and take them back and throw them out if you try to complain. They watch you like a hawk the entire time you're there. They close down the grill super early. They are not nice people and I really hope they go out of business. Would not allow outside food or drinks. Only allowed two drinks and they do not put any liquor i

Cool venue , but I had an issue in the arcade with them not giving me all the tickets I was earning; it's been months and they have yet to resolve anything with me . Also, I've witnessed fights break out, physical and verbal, so ild also think twice about bringing children here after it gets dark.

I had a great time with my kid's. Only reason I gave it 4 star is because we had to wait for our lane to be open after waiting outside too for them to open the door. I had scheduled online so when we got there I was hoping to be open already.

Very rude staff!!! Clear to see they did not like having minorities there. They check your bags and watch you the entire time you are there. Staff looks like they use to work at Spencers and got fired and now they have to work here and they hate every minute of it. Will never go back to this establishment. Couldn't believe the experience we had.

Mary who works at the front desk is awesome! She is welcoming, very good with children, upbeat and also willing to help out when needed! Also the guy that works the grill area (did not get his name but he wears glasses)he is friendly, nice, patient and has a good sense of humor. Always clean(including the bathrooms) positive, fun, family friendly experience every time we have been.

Family came over the holidays, Andrea made sure we had the best time. Definitely the highlight of everyone?s trip!!

Fun night! Would go again

Love the place, bowling is worth it for five people to go and share the expense. Food is a little pricey. It has a nice little arcade, that is not only for the little ones.

The people working there are very nice. We had a large crowd. We had three lanes we had an absolute blast. Beers were cold. Food was good.

3.21.22: I want to revise this review. I received a very nice email from the owner offering to refund my card due to the confusion on the calendar. My son and I decided to use the lane the next night anyway and even the girl I spoke to on the phone was very nice when we arrived. I booked an appointment online for what I thought was today at 5p. But when I received confirmation it was for tomorrow. The way the calendar is laid out online the last day of the week is Sunday and not Saturday (like a typical c

I had a lot of fun here! It was my first time and it was AWESOME! I was able to eat and drink and enjoy my beer while we waited to get a lane to bowl. The music and atmosphere was really fun and upbeat, and also very kid-friendly. It's a great place to bring the whole family, there's something for everyone and worth the cost. Highly recommend this place for parties and family nights out.

Love this place. Still family run, great family activity. Only minor negative, they have a cool self serve beer draft wall but only one person can sell you the wrist band to use it and she is usually very busy with other things. Bartender should be able to sell the band. Other than that it is our go to for bowling.

Customer service is horrible. If you have someone at the service desk, she should greet customers who are standing in front of her while she stares a screen for an awkward few minutes. Then says no lanes available with several open on the back side. The other girl doing shoe rentals didn't seem any happier. I get its a busy day with tons of screaming kids around, but that's what you sign up for when you work at a bowling spot. Thanks for a not so great experience ??

I was very confused when I walked in to be told I couldn't bring my bag in when the week before I had walked in with the very same bag and was not asked to had my bag searched. I was told that I needed to have my bag searched when I walked in this week.

I don't like the dark and lighting.

First and last time booking a birthday party at this place had I known that you can NOT bring a birthday cake to a kids birthday party. Never was this information available/provided at the time I reserved the ?birthday? party online! BUT note ?I could keep/have my own cake for a fee of $25 dollars?! Sounds like a big scam to me! Such a disappointment and way to ruin a kids birthday!

The kitchen staff was very slow. It was not busy and we waited 25 to 30 minutes to get a small cheese pizza with a small fry. Was disappointed with the fries, I thought they were going to be fresher tasting and they came out hard and stale. Maybe change the quality of fries? The pizza was ok. I thought the food would have been of better quality.

Love this bowling alley! I try and take my sister here once a week or so. We go with a few others we know and always have a fun time. She loves the arcade with their great selection of prizes. Andrea at the front desk is always very personable and works hard to make sure everyone is having a fun time. Great customer service and staff. Always clean. Great prices!

I really want to bowl here again - the last two times I've tried there was a 45 minute wait (Sunday afternoon). Nice place. Close & convenient. Dislike that you just can't come in and bowl, but I'm happy they're busy. Will unfortunately have to try another place next time I'm in the mood, I don't want to make the drive just to have to leave since I'm not waiting 45 minutes for a lane.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are virtual reality games in arcades worth playing?

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
