Great experience for not a lot of $$ We went here on a school holiday and had as much fun as we do at other big name locations. A few of the games were out of order but outside of that we had a good time.
We had a pretty good time. You can play for a while on 10 or 15 bucks. So when you take 4 kids and you spend under 100 that's awesome. The prizes are kinda crappy but for 15 dollars in play points , it's all good. We had a great time. Ages 9 to 19 came with me.
I found this place on social media. It was fun and pretty affordable, $42 for 2 kids to play. The games worked great and the pac man machines are free!!!! The location is great and close to a lot of shopping/food.
Great, reasonably priced, family fun! We've been a few times over the years and not much has changed at Nickel Mania. Which in this case, is not so bad! 6 years ago the kids had just as much fun as they did the most recent time we visited. It's very affordable and you can have hours of fun! The prizes aren't much to write home about unless you get an ungodly amount of tickets but its about the same at any arcade where you can trade in tickets. (Except Brickopolis in OKC - they have great prizes for small ti
Staff was friendly, most games were 4-6 nickels, most I saw was 8. Our party of 4 was 2 kids and 2 adults and we only spent $25 on the card and had a couple of hours of fun. Watch out for that pearl game, it's very fun and addicting. Got around 900 tickets from it though.
Fun place, lots of games, clean place with friendly staff. Great for kids birthday parties. Will definitely come back.
The owner and his son are so kind. Facility is clean with a friendly atmosphere. Great employees. They have games for all ages! Super fun for the whole family!! Highly recommend!
Love it a great place to go for fun. Great to take a bunch of kids to go to. Took our 15, 13, 12, 13 and 12 year old kids here the have always had a blast here adults play kids play teenager plays a great place to go and have a great family, party and or a night out. If have not been here... A Must Place To Go. I have re-return her again love my kids live it great place for a nigh out family time.
The amount of time per price you can spend here is wonderful! This place is leaps and bounds better than Dave and busters, and way more kid friendly. 35$ gave 3 of us almost 3 hours worth of games. You can't beat that! They have all sorts of games from racing to air hockey. If you have kids, I really recommend this place!
It's a great place to go with your family or your children. It's so much fun to earn tickets and earn prizes. To go with the tickets that you've worked on earning.
Games were fun kids had a blast. The entry fee was affordable. Staff were friendly the only issue prizes cost a lot of tickets. Other than that, will definitely go again
I had a good time with my daughter last Saturday. We both enjoyed ourselves and intend on coming back again. I hope the games that weren't working are available next time.
Gets super crowded quickly they do the best with the space they have ..few games down while we were there
Best place to spend time with your kids. I had an amazing time. Wednesdays is happy hour from 4 to 7. They give you 1000 tickets just to show up at that time. Love it here.
I was just in there 3/14/2025 around 7:20pm I was waiting in line about 10 minutes with my 3yr old, very impatient excited to get his prizes and the blonde lady literally ignored us, my baby was so excited to get something and they made him feel like he wasn't important. I will never bring my kids back I had to take him to dollar tree to get him a toy because they proceeded to ignore my baby. That sucks that the customer service is poor. Then the teddy bear machine was not working properly they said they we
Second time visiting this arcade and the place has gotten even better! New games to include a four player Halo game. Kids had a blast and of course all games only cost nickels. Great place to chill with the kids and not blow tons of money!
Took my little brother and he loved it, all of the games worked or were fixed very quickly (rare to find an arcade like that these days.) Very affordable. I especially liked that you can purchase tickets in case your little one can't rack up enough for themselves.
Very disappointing. March 2025. First had to pay $5 cover charge just to enter! Then only accepting cash as ?system was down?. All machines were OLD and a lot of displays were half working and hard to read. Not a single pinball machine in the place. Will never be back. Go to Pinstack instead, much better value.
This place used to be family friendly while not breaking the bank on a weekend visit. It is not comparing to the major chains - (pinstack dave&busters) except this place reeks of feet and mold. $5 per person just to enter plus the digital card - not worth it. Visit your local arcade instead and hope this place switches management back to their original owners
We visited the game room twice. The staff were great. They were always present for any issues with games. There were plenty of games available. It was also very affordable.
Nickel Mania is a great spot for gamers, offering a vast selection of games to choose from. However, be prepared to spend a lot of time and money trying to win tickets, as they can be quite elusive! While it's fun to play and try your luck, don't expect to walk away with a ton of prizes. The ticket system can be a bit frustrating, and to make matters worse, they've switched from using nickels and tickets to game cards, which takes away from the nostalgic feel that made Nickel Mania so charming in the first
Such a fun time? My eight year year-old loves all the games! Everything was clean and and working order. Would recommend.
It was to crowded, and some of the machines are rigged. The drink machine didn't work and there was no out of service sign, just a hand written note stating the machine doesn't give change. We asked a employee about it and he said no it doesn't work, but told us about the place/store a few buildings down ??, and its cold out. This place gets decent business I'm sure you can fix the drink machine, it was hot in there.
Great place to entertain your kids for an hour 2- my boys love it! They just changed from actual nickels & tickets to a card where everything is loaded- which is nice for cleanliness. Nice people working, not crowded- a fun activity!
Took my daughter here for her 10th birthday. We didn't have a party here, but it's a great place for one. They have a lot of games and the kids really enjoyed it. The prizes were just okay but that didn't really matter so much. The experience was worth it. Prices are about what you would expect but not too expensive.
Highly fun place to be with kids
This place was fun for the kids. I thought it would be cheaper, most games are 8 nickels. And you pay an entrance fee as well. I guess it's OK. But it does turn out to be pricey.
I found this place at the last minute and it's AMAZING!!!! My niece loved it so much and it's so affordable! We will be back for sure!! Everyone is so nice!!
I used to love this place years ago. Can't say I'm much of a fan now and even less of one for my small children. Too many games that are not all that great and are only for tickets. Probably good for kids from 8-13, but I feel like any younger (which mine are just under) wasn't so great. I also felt like I enjoyed more games that were fun for adults many years ago, not they're not many. I remember coming back when they actually used coins and tickets (was great back then) I have been since the coins were g
Great place! bring your kids!!! Nice folks that run the place keep it clean! We come when we can we spent around $45 for three kids and two adult kids ?? not bad for an evening out!!
Pretty cool place for kids and pre teens. This place gives you that old school nostalgia by allowing you to activate the games by using nickles. My 7 year old daughter had a great time. Their prize wall wasn't too bad. If I'm in the area I will stop by again. NOT TOO BAD ON THE POCKETS!
Always big love fot this cool affordable spot to let the kids be kids
The kids love it here! We've been coming here for years. It's a great place to go if you do not want to spend a lot of money and have a lot of fun as well.
We loved this place. The price is outstanding, the place is clean and the teenagers that take care of the business are very friendly.
Me and Chan love this place we come a lot , affordable nice friendly staff and a way to tire the kids out on day off like today .
This place is amazing! I work for a summer camp and this is the second year in a row we have taken our summer campers here and we LOVE it! It is a vary affordable yet fun arcade place! All of the games are well taken care of, so all the machines work. You can bring your own food so you don't have to spend a lot money on lunch. We just ordered CC?s pizza and brought drinks so we saved a lot of money but this kids still had a BLAST!!
This was way better than I expected especially for the price. Every game was in good working condition. My favorite was the connect four basketball game. The area is kept very clean. I think this was the cleanest arcade I've ever been to. I don't mind that each persons pays a small fee to be inside. I think it's brilliant as there is no loitering. I'll definitely be back.
Great place to bring the kids. Great atmosphere. The staff is friendly. Great selection of prizes. The only thing they don't have is food so make sure to eat before you come.
Great family arcade, perfect for birthday parties!
Good place doesn't need too much money to play. But they need entrance fee even for adults. I don't like that. I think one adult per child should be free.
Do not waste your money! You will be charged an "admission" fee just for walking in the building. Even if you are using a previously purchased card with money still on it. There was a lot going on when we first checked in. There were 2 camps there and the lady working the front desk was in pajama pants and barely spoke to us. I didn't think to ask if this extra charge was recurring. Unlike other places such as pin stack or chuck e cheese where you pay extra for the physical card but aren't charged again to
If you want to have a blast with your kiddos and not spend 100$s of dollars this is the bomb.com. We played for two hours on 15$ worth of nickel s. The games are great. Well worth the drive if you live out of the area.
Best place to be if you want to bring your kids to have a great time
We had a blast at Nickel Mania! So many fun games and the girls loved it. We may have had just as much fun as the littles. Took me back to my childhood! Definitely recommend for an afternoon/evening of fun!
We went here yesterday and the kids loved it. Great value for the amount of play you get on the cards. The tickets go automatically onto the game cards too. That's awesome. Easy to save if you want to save for the next time to collect more tickets. The place was really nice and clean. The staff was nice and friendly. Only complaint I have is there wasn't really anywhere for parents to sit while waiting on the kids to play.
Had my son?s birthday here and it was a blast. He's turning 4 and loves all of the games at this age! Cannot wait to come back
We had a fantastic time! Service and quality of games were great. Awesome option for a birthday party, or a rainy day!
Had my 9 yo bday party here. Highly recommend. We did a group deal being we had 25 people come but general admission is 4 bucks all games resonable priced and it had clean bathroom people! Alot of kids around and it had clean toilets! Much love she had a great time
UPDATED REVIEW ?? ???????? After a conflict in times, Ms. Rowe rectified our situation. She went above and beyond to compensate us! We returned today and we all had a wonderful time! Thank you Ms. Rowe for promptly addressing our concerns, we had a blast! And we even have credits left for our next visit. A good time was had! If you're looking for something fun to do with the kiddos, NICKEL MANIA IS THE PLACE!
None of the machines worked and the ones that did would just take our nickles. I got tired of asking the guy in the front for help. Honestly you're better off at Chuck E Cheese?s
Very fun arcade and it's affordable. Lots of games, they have pizza and host birthday parties.
My two sons love this place
Very misleading. Terrible value, nothing "nickel" about it. Young grandkids are smart enough to know the games are "rigged". And for what? Just worthless trinkets.
Nickel mania was very helpful in planning our back-to-school party with many students. They assisted with booking in advance and also catered to our large number of kids by loading the cards ahead of time so that we were ready to go when the kids arrived. We were treated to a seating area for our brought-in food and beverages and the staff was very courteous and attentive the entire time.
The place was awesome and I had a fun time when I went last time.
Fun place run by great people! It's way more value for your money than Dave and Busters for example. It's clean and there are a great variety of games, making it perfect for any kind of occasion. Stop by if you like supporting local businesses!
I don't get why you'd bother with Pinstack when this exists. On $20, my wife and I spent almost 2 hours playing games. By that point, we would have spent at least $40 at Pinstack. Also, their prizes include knives. Need I explain more?
So much fun very very well priced I felt like a kid again definitely check them out!!
I loved it! My kids had an amazing time! Will definitely be coming back!!
It used to be nicer when it was paper tickets and actual coins. Something feels missing when you use swipe cards. Also, the ticket count on the cards are markedly lesser than what we actually earned. When telling the staff, they looked put out at having to credit us our proper amounts.
First tune here and we loved it!! So many games for all ages and my 4 year old loved it. We loved that we had a blast from our past we could share with her.
I absolutely love this place. Reasonable entry fee. Great for the whole family! Food and beverages appear to be allowed as long as you leave the reserved tables for the parties booked. Perfect for birthday parties and summer camp visits. Kids love this place!
Staff is nice, bathrooms are highly maintained, TONS of games, they are very affordable with 20 coins every DOLLAR, family owned, and very clean. They use nickels but machines are always checked in, they supply cups for coins too. Good place, I recommend. ??
My family and I had a nice time, the games were fun and entertaining!
This is a great place to take the kiddos to have some fun. The staff is great as is the selection of games. It can get busy at times, but it doesn't take away from the fun. My 4 year old son loves to play the Jurassic Park game. We can easily spend an hour playing. I can get us each a $20 card and still have credits left when my son pulls a squirrel.
The workers are always super nice to me and my kids! My kids love this place!
Took my son and our family here for his birthday. Was great fun. Everyone loved it. Lots of games and prices are fair. We plan on returning for more good times.
Great place for a fun family game night. Clean and not crowded which is a plus during this weird covid time.
Super cute place to take your kids to. Reasonably priced and tons of games to choose from! Super fun night!
Fun place with lots of games. According to my son in his words? Daven busters dosn't have anything on this.? All the games aoekwd properly.????????????
Had great fun with my brother for his birthday! Just a head up on the hours, they change based on school being in or out. See the picture! (Thanksgiving hours pictured below.)
My nieces and I had so much fun here! The price is relatively low (5-40? per game) & we spent about an hour total playing games and then getting prizes. I liked that it's well air conditioned too, especially in this heat!
Really fun! Around $3.00 per adult for entry and you just use nickels to play!! Wonderful, cheap and fun for everyone!
The staff was SO helpful and very friendly!! 10/1 for the kids!
Wow! I was driving around in my car with little to no money to spend with my screaming children in the background; ready to have an amazing time after Christmas! Frustrated and tired, I almost gave up on my children until spotting ? Nickel Mania?! To my surprise the staff was informative about the great adventures to explore at a reasonable cost?!
gave one star cause the place is clean but you have to pay for nickles and then pay 5$ a person to get in each game ranges from 6 nickles to 8 nickles and ticket prizes are lame .. would of been more ok with it if i didnt have to pay a cover charge .. would of rather spent that on more tokens
Favorite arcade in Texas. Everytime we're in Dallas we come here. Love the old-school vibes of the nickels and you can play for an hour or more with $20. Prizes aren't good, but you come to play the games. They regularly get new games too and everything is almost always working. The staff are around adding tickets and checking machines.
This is an affordable place to bring our young children for fun and prizes. Though crowded, the atmosphere here is pretty relaxed. Kids had fun with ours visit.
It's not a horrible place but after you've been to Nicklerama it just can't compare. At least 6 games were down, they charge on average twice as much per game as Nicklerama, and the jackpot or overall ticket payout is nowhere close to what you get at other places. The staff was super friendly and the place was very clean though!
Cool place to take the kids. The most a game costs to play is 8 nickels. We all played a few hours spending $30 for the four of us to play. You can take your own drinks and snacks.
TOTALLY NOT WORTH IT ANYMORE! The only reason we went to this place cuz it was still old fashioned. My kids LOVED to actually insert the coins in the games and receive paper tickets! They replaced the nickels with cards and no more actual tickets. ??? They also raised the price of admission. This was supposed to be a budget friendly- kid friendly place. Now it's turned into another money draining place! Seating was DEFINITELY limited! Only had one table available for the public! There were older people stan
If you are looking for a fun place to take your kiddos to look no further!!! We had the best time at NickelMania!! My son was so so happy we went there?
Sunday Fun day, for the win! It was so nice to spend nickels instead of quarters. Other places are 5 credits on a game, which ends up being $1.25, but 5 credits there are only a $.25.
Great place. My son and I come often. Machines work well and the prizes are awesome! Amazing price for what it is.
Great place to play video games. Fun for the entire family. I love the fact the video games are rarely broken and they are generous with tickets, which makes my kid happy.
Awesome Place To Spend Some Time With The Kids
It's a good place if you have one or two kiddos to keep busy. They charge admission plus the games. There's a lot of games that are down or just take your nickels. They do sell additional tickets for prizes so that's a plus. That being said, for the money I spent, I might take them to Free Play or Cidercade next time.
We had a fantastic time at the Nickel Arcade! Fun games at reasonable prices!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
