Pretty sweet card shop, they had some magic cards I've been looking for and some other shops didn't have. Pretty good prices as well. Definitely the place to go if your looking for magic cards
How is this shop a 4.3? I walked in and got blasted by the stench of BO from the guys sitting around playing. If I wanted to walk around and look at product the tables are only about a foot from the counter so I'm walking over bags and getting looks from people since we're all in close quarters. The owner has a third of the space in the store taken up by shelves and cases that have obviously not moved product for over a year. Needs a serious rework on space and ownership.
Really upset with the ?service? I received tonight. First time in nervous and anxious I walk in and the gal said welcome then became dismissive when I asked questions about prices because god forbid prices are displayed, she started getting an attitude. When I asked about a card, mind you she's on her Nintendo switch, she ignored me so I repeated and she finally heard me got the card and then had to call about the price. Next I asked by chance do you have any cards I can look through I'm looking for TRON la
Prices are INSANE, Awful customer service too, dude working was a complete weirdo absolute 0 interest in helping out
So I finally was able to go to this place since the hours don't exactly match up with my schedule. But once I got there, I realized they had the best collection of trading cards (Pokemon and MTG), dungeons and dragons books, and figures. Possibly the most in Douglas county! The only problem I had was that the guy who sells the single cards in the case isn't there too often and the prices aren't on them. But if you want packs, ETBs, special boxes, they seem to have it all! They also have Pokemon play on Wedn
Cons:1 Expensive compared with similar shops,I cut them a little slack because I understand it's difficult to run this type of business in a community this size. Cons 2: No excuse for this one. THEY ARE NEVER OPEN WHEN THEY SAY THEY WILL BE. You might get there when the website says it's a hour past opening time and find they still aren't there, evidently they make a habit of this and not a occasionall occurrence based on emergencies. Pros 1: They know their stuff Pros 2: Superb collection of MTG, it is the
5 Stars. Would recommend! The owner Ben is super knowledgeable and has great prices. Everyone in the store is always super friendly and very helpful. He has a great variety an selection of cards. I always get better deals here then I would if I would of ordered online!
It's a really nice, welcoming game shop that's run by good people. They work very hard to keep their little store running in a small town, which is a very difficult task. The place has a great selection of board games to buy, they have a wide variety of cards to purchase, and its clear that the people running the store know their stuff.
I came in on a day they were technically closed (whoops, sorry guys!) but after very graciously explaining that to us the owners son still helped us out. Great customer service. Hopefully they pick up 40k at some point, I will be here all the time if they do.
Would be nice if there were some consistent hours of operation. Pretty crucial when running a business? Your patrons need to know when they can buy your products.. but don't want to go, to have nobody in there.. just needs to be a little more business like and less... a bunch of friends selling cards out of a store..
Lots of nice people here for the MTG pre-release tournament. Staff was very friendly. They have not been at this location very long, so I imagine they will be doing some improvements to the interior. They have most things you would find at a ccg store as well as books and other hobby related things.
Family friendly!!! They have all your Dungeons and Dragons, Magic the Gathering and other TCG and tabletops for all your needs. Fair on prices and have awesome play groups throughout the week.
There is a literal crowd that hangs out at the door for hours just waiting for the owner to show up and open doors. Was planning on buying hundreds in Pok?mon today. Came to the store 3 times in the span of a few hours and it was closed all 3 times. Says it's open. Customers outside said owner does this every day. Never gonna even attempt again!
This is the place to go for MtG. Tons of stock at great prices! Owner was awesome to talk to, and gave us some great advice. We will come back and visit next time we're in town.
In 22 years of going to game stores this is the worst I have ever been treated in a tiny, cluttered, crappy store (one of the worst stores too, bad signage, pretty much everything you can do wrong). The owner refused to help me and was confrontational. Avoid this store like it has the plague, it was gross enough it might, I didn't even want to use the bathroom.
An alternative place to buy sports trading cards. It's kinda hit and miss as to when you will be able to get there and find the place actually open. Doesn't do any good to check online about store hours. The hours are not updated online.
Fun, fair prices. Owner is fu.. great person who I will always respect vast knowledge, great at helping someone start up. ;)
The proprietor of this business is a really good dude. Nice atmosphere, a must for MTG, Pok?mon, D&D, all hobby games.
I enjoyed coming in and seeing the books, pokemon cards and board games. The role the dice for pokemon cards was a fun idea! Thanks!
Great shop!! They had the dice MOJO, and the guy helping was very polite and gracious.
Love this store. Its my go to any time I need cards. Always has a very expansive stock of singles always had what I needed.
An awesome store with a very nice vibe. My husband is in almost any time he can and was even able to get me back into magic the gathering when I went in.
Knowledgeable owners good stock of boardgames older video games and books. Great service and fun atmosphere. Will go out of the way to get product
Great store, if your looking for specific cards for mtg. However trying to catch them open is where I seem to run into issues.
Nice atmosphere layed back the one star guy is lie ing I been here and it's not that bad at all just cuz someone does not want to deal with a cheater does not make it a bad store love the place
Super friendly guy in there lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of magic
Love nexus great hang out group. Owner is awesome.
Great place to play mtg, regulars are very welcoming to new players
Staff is very knowledgeable, customer service is exceptional! The prices are also very reasonable.
A great place where you can go to chillax when you are broke, but also a good place to spend your whole entire check on pay day... lol
Very friendly environment. Prices are a little high though, but well worth it.
Great family owned/ ran business. Love the friendly atmosphere!
Staff is knowledgeable and he's always giving me a straightforward price
Owner is knowledgable and fair, great place to nerd out. ????
Always very helpful and knowledgeable when I have questions.
Doesn't open at posted times. Doesn't answers phones.
My only complaint is that there's not enough active players
The owner is fun to talk to, and knowledgeable of his trade.
Supposed to open at noon and it looks like nobody is here. Just sitting and waiting for someone to come to work.
The worker was rude an didn't know anything
Good trading for in store credit and money wise
These guys always seem to have what I'm looking for in stock.
Warhammer table top gaming. Nuff said.
Ben is great and the atmosphere is lowkey.
Magic the gathering card shop and game store
Great place very friendly
Love the experience there!
Knowledgeable talkative staff.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
