Best place ever!!! This arcade has kept up the highest standards of cleanliness, courtesy, vibes, and games since its opening. The owners are so kind and welcoming too, you can tell they are really in touch with their guests. They have so many cool rhythm games you won't find anywhere else, it's just so freeking cool!!!!! Also, they got beer and sake now!!! ??

The machines are in great condition, lots of great rhythm games and arcade fighters. Hosts a lot of events and they offer drinks at a reasonable price and the usual clients are always nice. To top it all off the owners are not only professional and passionate but also veterans! Can't recommend this place enough.

edit: came back and got engaged here !! i wish i could give so many more stars !! thank you so much from the bottom of my heart !!! this place is literally heaven !!! i never thought i would see any of these rhythm game cabinets in my LIFE !! theyre beautiful and well taken care of !! the art on the walls is sooo cute !! i love the references !! the atmosphere was very kind and welcoming and i definitely stayed for a good amount of hours with such a steal for unlimited play !!! the owner was also very gene

This establishment is OUT OF THIS WORLD amazing. The variety of games is great, they're all super fun and entertaining. The place has snacks and cold drinks and the prices are great. There really is something for everyone. The owner in particular is one of the kindest people I've ever had the pleasure to meet; very attentive and quick to help if needed. He makes the most pleasurable experience possible. The owner was also very open and willing to let me propose to my partner here, and created one of the bes

This is definitely my favorite place I've visited. I'm disappointed that I don't live in Florida! If I did, I would be here everyday. There's so many fun rhythm games, from Pop?n Music to Wacca! I loved playing all the Touhou and Hololive songs on the machines. They are all super well maintained, and very clean. The entry fee is super reasonable as well. It was definitely worth the 15 dollars! I spent 3 hours there, and I could?ve easily spent 3 more. The owners are doing a great job, and I can't wait to co

Dallas and the crew at Neon Dreams are passionate about creating a community space around the games that they love. The price to hang out here all day is super reasonable and if you're close enough to go many times in a month they have membership pricing too! Snacks are reasonable and you can come and go to get outside food and drink if you want. I'll definitely be back though here and I hope you'll give them a try too. The only downside was that it's a bit loud if you wanna have a conversation but if you'r

Definitely 15 dollars well spent. I was here for about 9 hours and I didn't feel like I got bored, even with the selection of cabinets being much smaller than some other places. The feeling of community and coziness is just so apparent and it felt really nice. Dallas is a super chill guy; Super accommodating and willing to do anything he can to help someone or make things comfortable. Definitely recommend this for anyone in the St Pete area who wants a taste of unique games from the other side of the world

My new favorite place to go to! I believe it was Cody I met who made me feel so welcomed and helped me get things set up on their consoles. Cody is one of the nicest people I've ever met and I can't wait to go here again. I spent about 5 hours here and never wanted to leave. If you are ever in the area or live around Tampa Bay please check this place out, you won't regret it!!!

Super chill place to hang out and nerd out. The owner is such a nice chill guy. A cozy little corner to play any retro game and fun rhythm games. 12/10 would go again. They also serve drinks if you're into that.

Very friendly atmosphere. Premises were kept very clean and inviting. You can figure out most of the games even if you don't speak japanese, but everything is Japanese. There were about 15 people there when we went and I don't think one of them was Japanese. LMAO

This place is amazing ! To start, the owners Dallas and Cody are insanely great people. The pricing here is great, with many selections of games to play. From retro consoles to modern Japanese arcade games I had fun no matter which I tried. Next time I come down I will be visiting again and hope everyone else will too!

First time coming to this arcade awesome location nice clean facility owner Dallas is super cool. Would recommend this location to anybody who enjoys a nice chill place to play video games and hang out with cool people definitely gonna come back here as often as possible and bring as many people with me as I can. and the price is super reasonable 15 bucks for an all day, pass to play a bunch of recent and classic arcade titles.

Last night I went to Neon Dreams for the first time in person and met Dallas. He is outstanding and the place is clean and everyone is so nice! The last month or so Dallas and I have been in contact because I had a close friend and client who wanted their photos done there and Dallas had amazing communications, was so helpful and supportive before and after the shoot. One of the best parts of this is that it is a veteran owned business. Supporting Dallas was even more important!

this arcade is, no joke, the BEST arcade i?ve ever been to. i?ve always enjoyed rhythm games, but could never find a place that hosted the more competitive side of the community until Neon Dreams. dallas, cody, and kaz run the place, and they're absolutely killing it!! they keep machines in pristine condition, run monthly events for both the rhythm game and fighting game communities, and listen/interact with their customers more than any business owners i?ve ever known. other arcade chains i?ve visited arou

Great arcade, tons of rhythm and fighting games, hosts a variety of tournaments and events every week. The owners are great guys and super friendly. Fun place for all ages, definitely stop by here!

My new ?home? arcade. I visited here back around Mid-December, I got to talk to one of the owners and I can tell you, they absolutely have a love and car for the arcade and console gaming community. With a beautiful mix of old-school and modern fighting games with an excellent choice of arcade rhythm game machines (some of which you WON?T find anywhere in the Tampa/St. Pete area), this location is literally a dream come true for those wanting to play your heart out for hours on end. With a price of $15 pe

I love coming to this place with my significant other! Awesome games! Amazing staff and they offer drinks and snacks! Many variety of things to do, and the price is great!

one of the best arcades around! the Japanese cabinets are fun and unique, you really don't see any of them around here. Dallas is super nice and knowledgeable.

Had the time of my life today at neon dreams, found someone to play rock band with, tried iidx, played a whole bunch of new difficulties on pump, and had a fun night drive home. Loved the scenery of the water, and the lights and stuff, where I come from it's pretty boring place. I'm still so hyped up that I might not sleep tonight. 65 mile drive was worth it!! Got work tomorro- err I mean today.. too. ??

If you grew up with arcades in malls, bowling alleys and mini golf courses, then you'll be right at home at this arcade. Awesome selection of 90s & 00s fighting games, beat?em ups, rhythm games, Initial D and home consoles. Plus, weekly tournaments, events and car shows. Great staff that cares about their games (cleaning them regularly and fixing any issues on the spot). Highly recommended!

This is a perfect hangout spot, safe space, and has really beautiful pristine arcade machines and cabinets. The staff is always very helpful.

Super cool ambience and amazing staff! Good mix of Rythm and fighting games, plus an Initial D cabinet. There's also a really welcoming community of regulars that were a blast to hop into games with. Definitely my favorite social hub!

Dallas (One of the owners) is extremely personable and very kind, offering all kinds of games and ideas when I felt lost in there. It was a great time!

Lovely arcade with a nice, cozy retro vibe and feel. Everyone was nice, drinks and snacks priced reasonably as well. The owners love fighting games and reflect that in the tournaments they host, and they/whoever their technicians are also maintain the games very well.

A new and humble little arcade in the Largo area that offers fighting and rhythm games! $15 to play all day, cabinets are in working order and the arcade was nice and clean. Staff was welcoming and friendly and they sell snacks by the entrance.

I went into this this location with a 7 year old and 10 year old. There were quite a few games they could play plus many PlayStations. Something?s were aged over the 7 year olds head so we weren't able to stay long. But Dallas was so accommodating he even gave us some money back since we couldn't stay to long. I recommend Dallas and the customer service plus the arcade to anyone in the area.

Very nice arcade with nice staff. Like it more over the previous arcades Ive been to such as Arcade Monsters. They have a small collection of rhythm games currently, but they're working on getting more of the popular ones soon. Definitely my favorite arcade so far. Just needs a hint of Noisz Arc?Coda ( ,,?????,, )

KV Neon Dreams Arcade is a fantastic place for people who enjoy playing fighting games like myself. They have a great selection of both old school and new school fighting games and the cabinets are all high quality and in great condition! They also have ps5 set ups and other consoles to enjoy. Highly recommended checking this place out!

The coolest place I've encountered in Largo yet! Huge selection of Japanese arcade cabinets, rhythm games, retro consoles on high quality CRTs and modern consoles with every game under the sun as well. Endless fun and entertainment for $15, which allows you unlimited play for however long you're there. Chill atmosphere and really cool wall art. They offer drinks and snacks to buy up at the front. We will definitely be coming back again and again! Had an awesome time

A great place to come by if you like rhythm games, fighting games, and some other ones too. Staff is great and friendly and am already planning to go again! Highly highly recommend. Also it's a one time fee for the whole day which is unbelievably clutch.

This place is amazing, best arcade in the area honestly. I love that is a sober community and such a friendly and welcoming environment. Its so rare to find great nerdy places open till late or any good place at all. The employees are also so nice and friendly too, you feel like you are hanging out with great friends. Love Love Love, over 9000/10 Also, shout out to Dallas for being so awesome!

Loved the Japanese import rhythm games. The place was very clean, chill, and had super friendly staff. Looking forward to coming back!

Super fun experience. Service was excellent price is great with specials on different days and tournaments happening weekly. Would definitely go again.

All you can play all day arcade. Super nice folk running the place! Very friendly vibes with a regular group of people that visit the arcade. Every day of the week has a special event going on, such as hosting weekly tournaments for fighting games and their rhythm gamesI I found an amazing group of friends in the fighting game community thanks to Neon Dreams Go check this place out!

An awesome place to spend an evening, with a super good set of games and entertainment. The owner is incredibly welcoming and gives the place a nice feeling of comfort.

if you love rhythm games and live in Tampa bay Area, i totally recommend this place. ? Staff are very friendly ? prices are reasonable ? military and student discount ? clean

Great staff! Dallas and Cody are super friendly and knowledgeable. Awesome atmosphere with a retro aesthetic. They have the best variety of rhythm games. It's a vibe you must experience. The community is super dope and I came by one of the days they were doing a car meet and there was tons sick Japanese imports. They host events and specials weekly! Very affordable and overall great vibes.

Easily the best place for Japanese arcade games anywhere close to Tampa. Owners are friendly, machines are very well maintained, and unlike similar competition in the area, their air conditioning actually keeps the place cold. If you're a gamer of any sort, you should absolutely check this place out. They have something for everyone.

This place is absolutely awesome. Great cabs, excellent hosts and TOs; wonderful spot for a date night, or if you just want to chill and play some fighting or rhythm games. The tourneys and brackets they run here are also very fun with players of all skill levels. Best arcade/dojo in the greater Tampa Bay area!

Owner was really nice only had $30 minutes to play and he discounted our price cause I was a student and gave us free drinks :) will def go back here

I took my daughter here because she is a big fan of Japanese arcades and I ended up having fun myself. I liked the selection they had of both arcade and home console games. Cody was very friendly and I appreciated as an older adult the welcoming environment from both the owner and the other gamers. My daughter and I will definitely come back the next time we are in town.

Came all the way from Arkansas for a soccer tournament and on our last day, decided to go to an arcade to have some fun. Only had an hour to play until closing, but I was still excited to have the most fun I could with my family. We were kindly greeted and introduced by the nice gentleman working at the time. He asked if this was our first time there, which it was, and had a friendly chat. He said that since it was our first time there and there was only one hour left till closing that's our admission was n

Excellent entertainment arcade! The staff are unbelievably friendly, all day play with the ability to leave and come back, plenty of quality arcade machines well-taken care of, plus consoles and monthly events for games! I would say this is the best arcade I've been to in Florida!

I've been wanting an arcade to play fighting and rhythm games at in the area for a long time, and Neon Dreams was everything I was looking for. They have a great selection of modern arcade cabinets and consoles, including a lot of rhythm and fighting games you can't find in most other places. The owners were extremely friendly and welcoming, and the space is super queer-friendly. Will definitely be coming again soon!

This place was a lot of fun. My boys and I had a great time playing all the different old school games and some modern games too. Definitely geared more towards teens, but my 9 year old loved it. Dallas the owner is very nice and really open to how he can better his business and make it fun for all ages. It's a hidden gem and we will definitely be back. Hopefully bring some friends with us next time.

This place is AMAZING! I remember getting ads when they were first starting up, and when it finally opened me and my friends freaked out. I went there for the first time in March and since then I've been a regular. The game library is diverse and fits anyone, the owners are genuinely amazing people, and the atmosphere is so chill.

New hangout spot for sure-- my partner and I LOVE this place! The owners are extremely friendly and great at remembering names and faces. The cabinets are well-maintained with a great variety of games. A lot of love was put into this arcade and you can definitely tell!

Incredible hidden gem of an arcade in the bay area, specifically catered toward rhythm and fighting game fans (but not exclusively). The owners are wonderful and knowledgeable and take great care with their machines and their patrons alike. Cabinets and monitors are pristine; you won't find a better gaming experience. They run awesome events and tournaments for a great community that just wants to come out and play games and have a good time, and they're quickly growing into a pillar for gaming in the area.

I've been looking for an arcade to go to since I come down from north FL to visit my partner several times a month, and we both like fighting games and rhythm games. I found Neon Dreams after a bit of digging and this place is an absolute gem. If you're looking for a more Japanese-style arcade or just a place to play rhythm games or fighting games, this is where you should go. 15$ all-day play is incredible, and the game quality is so high that there's not a single cab or setup in that building that I didn

Great arcade, the machines are well taken care of and the owners are very nice and the crowd is great!

Love this place! Awesome games to keep us entertained for hours without breaking the bank! The service & atmosphere can't be beat

My girlfriend and I were visiting Clearwater from Montreal and, due to some unexpected bad weather, we ended up changing our plans and stumbled upon Neon Dreams Arcade. It turned out to be a highlight of our trip! The arcade strikes a great balance between retro and modern games, ensuring there's something for everyone. The prices are pretty fair too. Also, the owner is incredibly welcoming and helpful. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a fun way to spend your day!

Had a blast. Would recommend for kids or adults into video games. Not your typical arcade environment the games are unique. Worth the price and you could spend hours in there enjoying the fun.

If you love video games, this place has you covered. They do frequent tournaments and it's always a blast. I go there to participate in SoulCalibur II and Street Fighter 6 casuals. Friendly staff as well! Highly recommend!

Fantastic little arcade with lots of great cabinets. It's obvious the cabinets were chosen by people with a great love for gaming; not a single cabinet feels like it was thrown in to pad numbers. The owners are also extremely nice, taking great care to ask your name on your first visit and will treat returning customers as returning friends. Very chill and nice atmosphere as a result, and as you keep coming back you find the same friendly people coming back as well. They hold events and have tournaments, an

I went on opening day and it was very cool. It's a small arcade with a bunch of fighting games and the small handful of others like racing and rhythm games. The place was very cool but I feel like there should be a hygiene rule? The smell was so bad. There was this big guy who weirdly creeped around and he smelled like piss. Half of the people smelled like they haven't showered in a month. The place to me was a 5 star however the people there were a 3 star. Still, I really liked the small arcade just hopef

Great place with games you won't find at most arcades. $15 for all you can play. Spoke with the owner(who was super friendly)and they will be getting more games, especially music games. Had a blast playing beatmania. Highly recommend checking it out. One of the best arcades in the Tampa/Metro area

I had a great experience here. One of the owners, Dallas, was very friendly and welcoming. The selection of games was awesome, the star of the show being their collection of imported Japanese rhythm games. None of the other arcades in the area have them. They also have Bishi Boshi, a very fun, chaotic Japanese party game. Their selection of fighting games is the best in the area, tons of options both retro and modern. There's a really cool mural, as well. I went with my best friend, I'm really looking forwa

Best experience EVER!! I've visited a few times now and can say, hands down, you'll never find anything better. Was greeted by Dallas who included his pronouns automatically in his greeting and was more than welcoming to me as a nonbinary individual. My service dog is treated with great respect, I was assured that pets were not allowed and would be handled according to ADA law. There are cleaning wipes and hand sanitizer set out for use in-between plays. Floors are never sticky or unclean. Bathroom is stoc

Absolutely would recommend if you're a fan of any games they offer. I'd give this place 50 stars but Google is a coward and only gave me 5.

Had a great time at the soft opening here tonight! First off I want to mention the upkeep and cleanliness of the place. Not only was it super clean but all of the machines I played worked flawlessly, and were in near mint condition. The staff were super friendly too. You can tell all of them have a real passion for what they do, and the owner, Dallas, personally introduced himself and asked me and my friends how our experience was. In terms of games there's a good combination of fighting cabinets and rhythm

So excited to see this place grow. The murals are gorgeous, the selection of games are so hard to find elsewhere, and even harder to find with free play!!! Really amazing and friendly place. Thanks for your hospitality and your sorely needed service here in Tampa Bay. I already want to go back!

Neon Dream Arcade proves to be an exceptional destination for old school with a mix of the new stuff as well. My spouse and I have developed a profound appreciation for this establishment, relishing the warm reception extended by the staff and patrons alike. It is indeed heartening to witness such thriving establishments in our community, filling the void left by the closure of Tampa Lanes. In our search for an arcade to satiate our entertainment cravings, Neon Dream Arcade emerged as a delight. The ambian

I went to this arcade the day after it officially opened in October. I found out about it on Instagram. It's a lovely place! Very clean and inviting. I've been telling all my friends to check it out. I love the imported games and the fact that they sell game cards that save your progress! The owners are the best, super friendly and down to earth. I can't wait to go back.

Wonderful place. They already have a nice selection of games and will only improve with time. Drinks and snacks, as well as wristbands are all well-priced. Friendly staff and management. Games are all in very good shape from the moment the store opened, and they seem keen on keeping them that way. I really wish I lived closer! They are very good about feedback and open to suggestions so I think that if you go there and are disappointed in any way you can tell them how you feel and not be worried about how i

Omg ?? Five Stars! Me and my partner both visited this location and we left very satisfied and impressed. The pricing was very fair ($15 all you can play/all day). You receive a wristband and can come in and out as you please. This location does sell snacks but they are very open to you bringing in your own. I really like the offering of energy drinks! The owners are so hands on and friendly, checking in on their guests. Because of this, the patrons are very respectful among each other. The atmosphere scr

Great arcade tons of fighting game, rhythm games and multicades in Japanese style cabinets some system set up too. 15 dollar for all day play

Had a fun time even though I was only there for an hour. I was there with 2 friends and didn't realize one of my friends was only going to pay for an hour. At the end of his hour Dallas (one of the owners) gave the other 2 of us 5 dollars back since we paid for all day play. Dallas was an an awesome guy and was super helpful. I will definitely be back to hopefully get a longer session in.

Great spot, employees were super nice. $15 for a full day is definitely reasonably priced. A lot of cool throwback games like Tekken and Metal Slug! 5/5

Had an absolute blast here. You're only charged for admission instead of for tokens, so it's a great bargain if you're looking to play for more than a few hours at a time.

I am absolutely in love with this arcade! They took all of my favorite fighting games and put them all in one room! The staff are also super nice and went out of their way to make my wife and I feel welcome! I'll definitely be going back soon!

This place has the newest version of Initial D arcade game, Yes you can use cards, and no, I do not know how to get one... Yet

I had the privilege of meeting the team from Neon Dreams Arcade before they even opened. Their team is exceptionally knowledgeable and totally dedicated to their community. If you're looking for an absolutely epic fun time that won't break the bank be sure to check them out. They've got a wide selection of all sorts of arcade and video games and their staff is totally awesome. Highly recommend ?????

This is my favorite arcade in town! The owners and staff are very welcoming, and also knowledgeable about all the games. I'm a big fan of their Metal Slug machine, as well as their Steam arcade cabinet

The space and atmosphere are surreal. The feelin of playing the retro fighting arcade games brings back too many good memories!!! Want a new place to checkout for a date night look no further! Dallas and the staff are amazing

I have lived in Florida for essentially my whole life, and I can say with confidence that neon dreams is the top arcade in the state without debate! The owners go above and beyond to ensure everyone is happy and attended to when visiting, and the selection of fighting and rhythm games is to die for, with the added benefit of the cabs being well maintained. Will be coming here any time I'm in town, GUARANTEED!

Absolutely beautiful Arcade with very friendly staff. I felt welcomed right away, great games with a great experience!!

Dallas and Cody are amazing owners for an extremely fun akihabara styled arcade. Every time I go back, it's like I'm visiting old friends as they treat every customer with respect, kindness, and hospitality. I have already made wonderful friends with the other regulars inside the arcade as well as get to know more about a unique set of rhythm games from Japan that I haven't seen in any other arcade. There is always something fun even when you're not gaming. Check out their instagram and discord for their m

The best place to hone your fighting game prowess. The arcade is filled with rhythm and arcade cabinets while also home to some hefty competition. Check the arcades calendar to plan your next trip to take on some of the best local talent!

This place has the best vibe, I couldn't get over how clean and comfortable it was! Dallas the/one of the owners was very kind and genuinely wants everyone to have a great time. Inclusive, comfortable, accommodating. Loved it!

Awesome place they have the Japanese versions of Initial D "The arcade!" You can race with friends and win head to head battles! This game is so rare in the USA. You can also save your stats with the namco memory card that they have for sale. If you are a race car fan I definitely recommend it. There is a lot of fun here. And I haven't even mentioned the fighting games and rhythm games too!

Neon Dreams Arcade is such a refreshing sight. The Pinellas area has been lacking an arcade scene for decades and this place delivers. It has great rhythm games, classic fighting game cabinets like Soul Cal 2 and Tekken, and the owners host events often. The staff is also incredibly friendly. I'm excited to see Neon Dreams thrive and grow in the Fighting and Rhythm Game Communities.

Staff is nice and helpful. Good space, nice atmosphere, and good selection of arcade games. Definitely had a blast and looking forward to the future of this arcade! If you haven't checked it out, plz do at least once.

Neon Dreams Arcade is probably my new hangout spot. The staff is super friendly. You can tell they love what they do. I can't get enough of the rhythm games ? they're addictively fun. The all-day pass is budget-friendly, and I recommend grabbing the IC card to keep track of your unlocks and scores. Whether you're into rhythm games or fighting games, the place has plenty with space to grow.

Been coming quite often since the opening. Has a great community around the place. Cody and Dalls (the owners that are there all the time) are some of the most down to earth, greatest folks I have met. This place is my dream come true of seeing a Akihabara style arcade in the US let alone locally. Hope to see the future and significant growth! Love you guys!

One of the best free play arcades around. They have classic arcade cabinets from the 90s/00/10's. On top of that they have new and old Rhythm games that you won't find anywhere else.

The best arcade around town! when i say arcade?. i mean an actual arcade. This place loves their community. i?m happy to be apart of the initial D scene here and i cannot stress this enough, this place is the best. please do yourself a favor and give this arcade a try.

legitimately the cleanest cabs i've ever played on. owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the entire space is well taken care of. the cabinets are the best maintained i've seen in all of florida, clean to the point where you could lick a cab fan. i'll be back again!

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?
