Neofuns Arcade

Neofuns Arcade

Reviews Summary

Most reviews praise the fun atmosphere, friendly staff (especially Derek, Steve, and Edward), and variety of claw machines, with many enjoying wins and family-friendly experiences. However, some criticize the high cost, rigged-seeming machines, or weak claws, leading to frustration. Prizes and ticket rewards are appreciated, but inconsistent difficulty and stale prize selections occasionally disappoint. Overall, it’s a popular spot for arcade fun, though luck and budget play big roles in satisfaction.

We stumbled on this place after going out to eat and trying to kill some time for traffic to ease up. This is mostly claw games. We had a fun time. They have point cards you can buy to play the games. I suggest the $35 card. Each game is mainly 6 or 8 credits. We won so many stuffed animals it was fun and challenging. You can also win tickets to get prizes at the main counter. The worker was super nice and helpful. It was a good night. We are for sure going back.

My littles looooved this place. The workers were nice and we actually won a couple of stuffed animals from the claw machines.

I had a great time here and will definitely be back. Bryant was super helpful and knowledgeable! Fun for kids and adults of all ages

So fun!! We came here on a Friday night (it's in Atlantic Times Square across from Daiso) and the kids were entertained and won some cute stuffies and prizes. Prizes are cute and there's Pok?mon stuff so that's a win! Edward was very helpful, thank you!!

The staff was friendly and there were quite a few games to play as well. We did win a fee prizes even if we weren't that skilled. But going for the small toys gives you better chance of winning.

Never knew there was an arcade there. ??. Tons of claw machine games. Love the mini one. Games are like about 6 tickets. You can get 6 tickets for $1. Not bad. Didn't have time to play games, just wanted to stop by and see what they had. Will return to play! ????!

I have been living around here for 12 years and this is my first time to be there with my son. There are typical video games like other game places, and snowball and water gun shooting games are something special. My son really liked them all. When you buy a package of credit, you can get a free toy, and then when you collect tickets, you can also buy a toy with those tickets (like chuck n? cheese). Staff was soooooo friendly to my son and my son even told me ?she was the nicest staff he ever met(hey.. you

Edward and Christina were extremely friendly in servicing customers. They were lighthearted and contributed to our evening with their humor and positive attitude, despite us coming near closing time. They made the experience memorable ? for a cold Saturday night, this was a delightful highlight, definitely recommend!

This arcade made me so happy. I've always wanted to play a gem pusher game that I've seen in Japan travel videos and when I saw one here I was shocked. I spent so much time playing. The prizes here were great and I got free prizes every time I spent a certain amount of money. The only negative is that there were a handful of games that weren't working and they looked fun. Some of them had visible prizes and they were good. They also had a lot of string cutting games and clearly people were avoiding those be

The staff here are really nice and very helpful. They are willing to help reset the machines if the plush doesn't look winnable. I wouldn't recommend any of the other games other than the claw machines or claw like games. All the people complaining about not being able to get a plush from claw machines need to realize that you should go for it only if it is winnable. TLDR the place is welcoming with great staff, cute plushies, and winnable claw machines.

I was walking in the area and happened to go in cause it was the only thing open. Initially I thought it was some. Dinky hole in the wall, cheap place with rigged games. I can tell you truthfully that that's definitely not the case. Christina was helpful in picking an appropriate package and not up selling me to buy more tokens. My friends and I won several jackpots and nice claw machine prize. Definitely worth visiting. And Edward was very friendly and helped us pick out nice prizes for our tickets

Love this place. Good spot for little kids. They can play and win prizes on their own.

The claws aren't too loose so you can win things but be aware that most of the stuffed animals are not ?authentic? from the shows that they look like they come from. For example those Pok?mon ones were a bit off but it's still relatively inexpensive to play so if you have some time to kill like we did, come stop by and hang out for a little bit

Awesome time there and their machines were really clean and fun. They have small claw machines there. the staffs were very friendly especially one of the staff named Derek, super friendly guy!! Went there a few times and the quality of time there is always amazing! Would recommend!!

Was on our way back from LAX and wanted to visit and play some claw machines. We saw this on the way back to palm springs and man we had so much fun. The guy there was amazing and very helpful. I recommend if you want to play and win come here.

I've been coming here for claw machine type games and I've been enjoying it a lot so far! I'm not sure why people are complaining about the claws being weak or rigged. That's just how the game is HAHA. I really enjoyed all the different options and choices they give and for a local place I gotta give them props. I hope they continue to stick around cause they def are somewhere I would keep attending and hope you guys would too as well!

This place takes your money easily. I was able to hook many of the stuffed characters, but claws machine easily let's them go once it gets lifted all the way up. It's a scam, do not go to this place. Also, not many games to play. I will not definitely go back.

The staff were super nice and the deals were great! I prefer to do the small plush claw machines because the big plushies are pretty difficult. My overall experience there, was AMAZING!

I have come here about 3 times. All times I have had great experiences. The staff is really nice, and even gave us a few more credits and tickets than we actually earned and paid for. They used to give actual tokens and paper tickets but they have now transferred to using a card. Yes, some games are nearly impossible to win, but my friends that I have come with have all had great experiences here. Some of my best memories are at this place. The games are also all in good shape. I would definitely recommend

My only complaint about this place is that the games are a bit expensive. Other than that it's a very fun environment, lots of games and claw machines. Great place to bring kids, dates, or even just to hang out by yourself.

0 star matter of fact. Rude worker. Refuse to help reposition plushy. Too many rules, not flexible to please customers. We will not come back ever again

Came at 9:42pm and they had the doors locked. Its advertised to be open from 12-10pm. Had me and my boyfriend rush for no reason.

The first time my wife and I visited back in November last year the plushie prizes looked wayyyyy more appealing. We were definitely more than willing to put more money to rescue them from the claw machines. We have since returned once every week or two, but have found that most of the desirable plushies have been replaced. Worst of all, the variety of plushies has stayed stagnant over the last couple months, save for a newer Hello Kitty from last week that, unfortunately, seemed impossible to grab! The

Went here for my birthday and had the BEST time !!!!

My friend and I stumbled across this little arcade in the Atlantic Times Square Plaza. It's our first time here and we had a blast. All of the staffs are very friendly and this place is very family friendly. The staff Derek is very helpful and he made this place feel like home. I really like how this place has different sizes claw machines. There's small to big prizes to win here which really amused me. Overall, my friend and I had a great time here and we won a couple of prizes. I would definitely come aga

Don't go into this place, save your money. Claws are so weak it isn't even a joke. I have visited better arcades in Vegas with decent claw machines. Better off playing claw machines at Wal-Mart.

Fun cute arcade with a lot of different claw machines! Great for dates and going with friends! Derek was super friendly and helpful. Overall it was a nice experience.

BEWARE! SCAM! came here 2 times and the claws are weak and when it does pick it up. The claws open by itself on the top. Check my video

Very friendly place. We saw many videos on YouTube and thought we make the road trip to see it. You get free gifts for just buying credits. Sadly we know we can't go back, so we had to use up all the tickets we won't that day. (because we don't actually live in the state of California). There wasn't any prizes we wanted so we had ask instead of spending the tickets, can we trade it for one of the tiny toys from the claw we couldn't win. They insisted and told us to spend all our tickets and they just gave i

This is such a fun and amusing place. You can lose track of time playing so many fun little claw machines or arcade games. What makes this place so much fun is the atmosphere. If there is anything wrong with any of the games Christina quickly fixes the problem. If she can't fix it then she gets someone who does know how to fix the machines. She is very helpful and very friendly. The games cost no more than about a dollar or so and the more you buy the more game play you get. Love coming here for family fun

These reviews have to be fake. I would give zero stars if possible. The claw machines are literally rigged- we were here for 1.5 hours and not a SINGLE person won anything from the claw machines. At round one we can win 3-10 items even on a bad day, but spending $50 and not one win after 32 grabs? Its giving scammer. I don't like leaving a review like this for a small business, but I also don't like being robbed lol Also there was only one person here working and the guy had to run back and forth between p

Went here with my 2 daughters and the host/attendant was super cool. He gave my kids more than enough when I only asked for 1$ dollar. I'm gonna come back just because of staff. Thanks again!!! My kids loved it!!!

Edward and Christina were awesome! They really made it a fun experience! They spent the time making it easier for us to win prizes. Will return soon!

Derek was amazing! He made us feel at home! We definitely will be coming back with the rest of our family! I never would of enjoyed myself so much of it wasn't for Derek?s upbeat attitude cheering us on. We spent a lot but it was worth it! Thank you for making our family outing great Neo Fun!!!

I came here with my husband for a date and we had the best time!! The store itself is really clean and had a variety of games for both adults and little kids. The employee named Derek was so friendly and helpful the entire time we were there so we really enjoyed coming here! Can't wait to return when we are in the area next time :)

my kids really like this place. plenty of arcade fun and the games are pretty cool. high ceilings and pretty spacious. my son really loves the claw games where the prizes are plushy bears. he's won numerous times. it's really easy to just toss funds away so be careful and go with a set amount. all in all pretty cool place to just spend time with your family or just ur kids. my two kids really recommend other kids going. fun fun fun they say lol

Love this place!! About 1$ a try but if you become a member you can get bonus tokens!! Love the games that give tickets!! Lot's of cool prizes!! Crane machines have pay out rates but some are pretty easy and still fun to play I would love to come back!!! Staff is really friendly and they even offer free gifts with certain amount of purchase of tokens!!

HORRIBLE!!!i tryed to get the smallest items and it just shook it off.claws were very weak.walmart and a trampoline park ANYWHERE IS BETTER.i tryed to get this ugly stuff and we got it.it was so annoying.never ever going again.hooks were very shakey and shook off all my plushs!it was no fun and it was the worst time.save your money kids and adults

If you love to see unhappy, frustrated and disappointed kids this is definitely the place to go. You actually are able to grab the toy 50% of the time but the claws shake so much they drop the prize, the other 49% of tries the claw is to weak to lift heavy prize. Spent $35 and my kids got one prize.

Such a great place! Had an amazing experience thanks to the staff. Spent $55 and one of the employees, Derrick, was so attentive and friendly. He gave me some pointers and assisted me with winning some prizes!! Definitely coming back.

Great and fun place to take your family or go on dates!!! Not too busy on the day me and my family went. Plenty of games to play and if you spend a certain amount you get a gift. The employee was very generous and kind. Definitely will be returning!!!

Went there as of 9th of April 2023, the claw machines are rigged. Big time. The claws on the machines are so weak it won't even pick up the merch. I watched to see if this is a ''me" issue ??, but none of the customers came out with dolls meaning none of them won. This place is a big scam.

Went here for the first time after a recommendation and had so much fun! The staff were so friendly which made this experience even better! Will come back again ????????????

Place had a good amount of claw machines but they seemed a little rigged over 250 credits and couldn't win 1 prize but staff was kind enough to give my kids 500 tickets each to redeem a prize

Heard about Neofuns from The Crane Couple and went for the first time yesterday with a friend. It was an amazing experience and the staff was extremely helpful when we didn't understand the token machine (it was confusing lol). The free gifts were adorable (I ended up getting a few free plush) and were an amazing touch to make the experience more unforgettable! My friend and I walked away with a TON of adorable Japanese toys and plush from the assortment of machines (my favorites being the Disney machine an

Amazing ??! I would definitely go here again. So cute!

I have wanted to come here for such a long time and WOW! It was so much fun just to be in the here. I had a great time with my best friend and boyfriend. The place was clean, well kept, and the staff was always willing to help with anything, namely Steve who was an amazing guide for us first timers. We won tone of prizes too! I'm now a proud member of Neofuns Arcade and I'll absolutely be coming back for more good times!

Once you step into this place. You feel like you never want to leave. Great claw machines with so many adorable and cute plushies. If you want to play a few games it feels like you are paying anywhere from .75 to a Dollar. Here is the big secret. Buy bigger amounts for more points. Not only do you get extra points. You also have the opportunity to get 1 free plushie at no cost for the higher amounts. It's a win win situation if you ask me. Now that we have that out of the way this place is about 200 feet aw

This place is fantastic!!! Very VERY friendly staff that are always ready to help reposition claw machine prizes to win them easier, if you simply ask! And they always do it with a smile :) My fiance and I adore coming here. Fun claw machines (especially the mini machines with high win rates), cute little prizes, and it's at an excellent location. Perfect for getting that rush of winning a claw machine prize; even if you're not generally good at them, a lot of the machines are SUPER easy!! Cant wait to co

Background story: I'm visiting from Arizona. After Round One in Cali, my wife and I decided to give them a try. I give them a realistic 1/5 stars, here's why: When you go to an arcade with prizes, you expect to walk out with prizes. The strength on all the machines were turned wayyy down. We tried grabbing the core weight of the plushies, hooking tags, sliding them up the walls, nothing worked. The claws were so weak that it wouldnt even grab properly and slip off or drop it upon reaching the top. People

I've visited this arcade twice, and both times the staff members were very helpful. Edward and Christina were incredibly kind and understanding, especially considering that we weren't locals from Los Angeles. I will definitely come again!

neofuns customer service is amazing! each time i go, there's very humble & easy going workers who make my visit as enjoyable as possible. today i went in and was assisted by a kind guy at the front desk (did not catch his name ??) as well as the manager derrick who were both so helpful! it's a very friendly atmosphere and i highly recommend

The games seem pricey at first, but the prizes are worth it. It's both fun for adults and kids, so anyone can enjoy the arcade. Also, they change the claw machines once in a while, so you won't get bored of the same prizes.

Our family loves this arcade. Nice and friendly service and we always leave with cute prizes. My 2 year old daughter enjoys it more than Chuck E. Cheese! Wish we had one close to us in Northern California.

My family and I have visited this location and the one in Riverside. The games are usually very fun but a little expensive. They offset the cost by giving a small prize based on how huch credit you buy, which is cool. If I review it before our visit last nighy, it would be 4 stars, however the games were set up too hard to win last night. The attendant even set up one to be easier and it took 6 credits before it dropped the prize, he even witness the claw pushing the prize further away after it caught it.

Second time coming back and had another great experience. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is in the area. Don't hesitate to ask the staff for assistance/tips, as they are always so friendly and helpful. Shoutout to Eric for breaking down the different bundles and for being so accommodating!

Steve was amazing so helpfully. Helped us win a few plush toys. Was my daughter's birthday she had a blast. Thanks steve thanks to you well definitely be back

It was horrible. The staff was on her phone the whole time, the games are not clean, they are rigged, wayyy too overpriced, and the prizes were cheap....things you can find under your couch! I came in with $10 to spend, and I walked out of the dusty warehouse with nothing but a small mini plastic unicorn stress ball ( for $10?!?!?! ) Never come here if you are on a budget.

Helpful staff and great machines. They have a bonus prize for buying certain amount of tokens. They will reset normal claw machines for you no problem. We walked out with lots if prizes and had a great time!

We really love crane games and thought this would be a nice spot to visit... But was really hard to get any plush. We've been in Japan many times and looove to go to crane game spots and find they have a good balance between what you win and what you lose. Sometimes you win, sometimes you don't. But here is frustrating when you see there's no way you're gonna make it unless you pay A LOT. You have to change your money into tokens, so once you've change $20 into 26 tries and you get nothing but ONE tiny tiny

With fifty bucks me and my niece and nephew had a lot of fun some of the claw machines are very hard to win out of but we still left with one prize each which is good enough for me the staff is very friendly and welcoming

A cute little crane arcade. The prices are a little high, but it's surprisingly easy to get wins. It's nice if you just want to drop a couple bucks on some cute key charms, but price per credit to ticket ratio at redemption is on the higher end.

Love, love this place. The difficulty can be high and the claws have virtually no strength, but a good fun place to kill an hour or so. You may get hooked after a while and spend much more money then you planned to.

Always wanted to come here so i did today with my little brother and sister, we had so much fun everything great even the stuff great Esther was really friendly and the best!!! She help my little brother feel like he was really lucky?? great place overall!!! Will be coming back??

Love this place! Spent $35 and won a ton of plushies with my friends. I love how they have so many different types of plushies. Will come back soon ~

RIP off Spent 20 bucks won nothing. Will not be returning. Yeah the plush toys look super cute and appealing. But next time I'm just taking my 20 bucks to Daiso and get a fershure thing. Or any other store for that matter

Such an amazingly cool claw focused arcade! The staff was super nice and helpful too. The ONLY negative I have with Neofuns is that they don't have a location where I live in Phoenix, AZ. Love this place, 5 star arcade!

Tried coming since it said closed at 10pm and it closed by 9:40 rushed here for no reason

Do not go here go to Claw Daddy instead. The claws here are so weak you would have to get lucky by having the plushs roll into the winning box. If you don't the my advice and go here anyway I wish you luck !

Had lots of fun, I wish they had more variety in pushed toys and honestly its really hard to win but it's a good time. Nice place to stop if you're in the area

Cool arcade with some unusual games that you don't see in a normal arcade. Edward was very helpful with the 1 game I had trouble with. Good value for the money if you're looking to kill some time.

Total rip off. This lady who worked there followed my boyfriend and I around the store . And then when my boyfriend grabbed a prize with the claw she clicked a button that made the toy drop. Don't waste your money .

Great place to go for claw machines and arcade games! I love going here with the little ones. We always win some cute plushies.

I find it disappointing when claw machines don't have stuff I want to play for, but at Neofuns, there are a lot of cute little toys that grab my interest. If I were rich, I think playing claw machines is how I'd spend my money and time. I interacted with the staff only once, but the guy who helped me was friendly.

I love places like this. The entrepreneurial spirit is beaming here. Yeah they have no AC and the games are bit run down but here it stands existing among chain stores and restaurants clinging to life. I love it!

So, they have excellent claw machines, but you can spend 60 dollars and won nothing but two super tiny prizes, if you like arcades I better recommend go to Dave & Buster's, for 30 dollars you can even win a big prize in their big size claw machine.

It's easy to get prizes and the guy with the glasses is really nice!

Very cute place my family enjoy it will be coming back soon it a small place but we made it work. We got a lot of plushies. All the staff we very friendly.

Fun arcade with cute plushies and other cool prizes! The team member that helped us out - Derek - was super nice!

Love the place! The staff is friendly and the plushies are of high quality.

It's a great place to bring your little ones , kinda small but it's all good. Kudos to the staff for making my little girl happy by hooking her up! THANKS!

My lil 5yr had a blast, great place, clean great employees were so friendly and generous with my lil princess helping her win a prize they made her day ?? Thank you

It was alright some games rigged but the staff are so nice I won nothing but they gave my brother and I free tickets.

This is my second post as my last one was deleted. Check your tokens after purchasing in the front counter. Theyll throw in a similar looking token/coin that does not work, ripping people off a dollar at a time. Tried to fool me twice! Be aware!

very strong claws used 40 dollars and won 60 dollar worth of stuffed animals its a must go

It's really fun and its a very unique place...also if your a claw machine lover you will LOVE this place...but what I have wondered is where's the other neofuns in riverside?

This place isn't bad, it's a cute arcade with Taiwanese / Japanese Claw machines. The bad part is that they're all rigged! Don't spend ALL your money here, you won't get far

Came here with friends and had a good time! Friendly staff and cool claws ??

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
