NASCAR SpeedPark Smoky Mountains

NASCAR SpeedPark Smoky Mountains

Reviews Summary

Overall, NASCAR Speedpark offers a fun family experience with diverse rides and go-kart tracks for all ages. Many praise the friendly, hardworking staff and reasonable pricing for day passes, though some note occasional understaffing. Positive reviews highlight the park's inclusivity, arcade, and unlimited ride options. Criticisms include accessibility issues for wheelchair users, broken arcade games, and occasional ride closures. While most find it worth the cost, a few feel it’s overpriced, especially with added parking fees. The park excels for younger kids but may lack thrill for older visitors due to slower karts. I came here today for the last day of my graduation vacation trip, and I had so much fun. I'll definitely be coming back one day. The staff was very friendly! They had so much stuff for teens, adults, and/or kids to ride. They have 8 tracks for go karts, they have mini golf, a couple rides, arcade, bowling, and water bumper cars. All of it was so fun!

Overall great. Friendly staff and willing to help out with our kiddos. Car are fast and wait times were manageable. The arcade was good and prizes were better than some of the others in the area. Well worth the money spent.

This place is awesome place to your family to. We took 7 kids and 2 adults. The kids had a blast. I just enjoyed just watching them having fun. Well worth the money.

Went with our 3.5 yr old an hour before closing, got the unlimited pass for 50% off! All the employees were very kind and accommodating. Even as it got close to 9, they were still friendly and helpful! Jake was an all-star with our son!!!

It was fun. We took whole day pass but there are not much variety in track. We spent few hours and left. It's good experience for younger kids up to 10 years old

Man, this place was AMAZING with my wife!! We loved every track, and ride!! Even the bumper boats can be enjoyed by adults here. They have a wide variety of different things to do!! An employee named Ian, he told us he was from the Bahamas, was out standing and was very informative on the big track. He made sure safety was a top priority and that's a man I can appreciate. He needs so much credit for the way he handles himself and runs his job. Would definitely be back on our next Tennessee trip:)

My kids had a blast it was well worth the money. The unlimited rides were amazing and the food was delicious. I loved that it was seating available near every race track so we could watch and not have to stand the whole time. We will definitely visit again.

It was a blast with four adults can't beat the price in the area for what you get. Recommend buying tickets in advance.

I went to the Nascar Speedpark last Thursday 4/17 and had one of the best times ever. The tracks were fun to go-cart on, the Arcade with the Virtual Reality Games were really fun. The Staff were all polite and professional. I highly recommend visiting the Nascar Speedpark if your in the Pigeon Forge area. ??????

Bitter sweet. Good: 99% great staff , very helpful! Online waiver is simple and fast. Parking guy is D-bag, suggest skip going for couple years til they sort it out or the next management team does. The managers on top of things like champs, but you can tell resources are restrictive. Most of the cart tracks are in good working order and well managed. Bad: You need to sort out the carts?clutches blew on the top tier carts @ $20 a ride and 2 of 4 cars failed on first lap 4/27/24 and you had 3 cart leave f

We weren't sure about staying at first because we didn't have a lot of time to constitute paying for the cost of the unlimited wrist band. So glad we stayed. My 17 year old had an absolute blast. There are a ton of different tracks, mini golf, and kiddie rides. There are also a great assortment of arcade games and mini bowling. We ended up coming back after dinner. We come down to Tennessee often to visit my parents and we will definitely be back.

Pros. We were immediately greeted by a lady named Lesley and she was amazing and super friendly. We already loved it. They honored my husband?s military discount and the pricing for everything that was included was great. Lots of fun. They explained everything before we got on the go carts. We played 2 of the mini golf courses and despite me not getting any hole-in-ones, it was fun! Food pricing wasn't bad. Bathrooms were surprisingly clean! Cons. The only complaint I had the entire time we were there is wh

We had so much fun here as a family. The staff was great on the tracks & in the arcade. They made the fun even better by being so kind & helpful.

we took our 5 boys yesterday and had an absolute blast didn't wait in line long staff is friendly and accommodating they loved the speedway coaster and the tilt a whirl all around blast! see you again soon!

This place was super fun for our group! We range in age from 17 to 50 and everyone had fun. Lines aren't bad. Food prices inside are reasonable. Even the silly carnival style rides were fun if you're interested. Considering there are multiple tracks, we didn't grow bored and I definitely feel like this place beats other gokarts in Pigeon Forge!

Bro it was so fun! The pit crew ian, for the intimidater made it so fun. There was no one else playing it except for me and my sister. He let us both go at the same time and tried to make it fair for my sister but i beat her 8-1

some staff fill the carts and let ya run and sum staff take forever to put 8 ppl in 10 carts. all about the same speed. the big track you pay extra for is like 6 laps and a little faster than the rest. Just get the reg day pass.

Well I must say for the price for an all day pass it's a pretty decent deal. Come and go as you please. All the tracks and some of the ?thrill? rides plus the putt putt course are included. Paying for parking is a bummer since Tanger shoppers have ruined the free parking. The in-house food court is very comparable to fast food in the area and the staff is very friendly. Lanie, Grace, Destiny, Kenzie, and Abby are very knowledgeable about the tracks and very attentive to the guests needs. The food is probabl

It's definitely isn't the best go kart track I've been on. And the smell of the gokarts made me have a heck of a migraine and the tracks aren't that great. Staff was wonderful. ZOEY was a sweetheart.

This is a very good place to have fun at. Fun for all ages of inside and outside plus mini golf,& more. Shout out to the wonderful staff they have there along with the mangers there all day long today there(Taylor and the other one). For all day the price is not bad at all.

Good value for the money charged. Payed $42 and change with tax for unlimited use of rides. Kids enjoyed using tracks and small rides. There is a small arcade option as well. Stayed for good 5 hours. Snacks are decently priced, food is pricier.

Hi there. What a great way to spend a day. $39 all you can ride. All day long. Had a pretty good time. Or no reason I wouldn't have 5 stars because the NASCAR track was down. But I will see you there.

Really fun experience! My kids really enjoyed themselves

All the workers were kind & helped my family ride together every time. I felt there was something missing... The strong smell of exhaust while waiting under the pavilion probably can't be avoided. Mixed with the engine noise, everything was a little over stimulating.

A fun spot for all ages, a few rides shut down or broken down unfortunately and quite expensive if you are just riding Go-Carts

I love NASCAR speed park so much and thank you so much to hunter for being so nice and amazing you made my nephew?s day so much better. I love how their staff treats everybody so nice.

What a great time. All you can drive on any track for one price! Highly recommend. Wish I would have tired this one sooner. Best carts in Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg!!!!

The best Speedpark you'll ever visit. If you're planning to visit or stay around, you definitely have to have a ride there. Great service and super cool rides!

Naomi helped us and was fantastic. She engaged with my son about his "coaster count" spreadsheet and spent time explaining the rides. She was so sweet and helpful. We appreciated her so much. My son and his girlfriend enjoyed their ride. Staff was friendly and the park was clean!

Great plan to go on family, we were a group of 14, from kids 5 years old to a person of 65 years old and everybody gets fun in this place, good price around 50$ with taxes, recommended 100% for everyone. We were there from 2 pm to 9 pm and still having fun until the last minute. Don't miss the chance to go there and have fun!

Great memories made. Great staff really good price for all day unlimited ride pass. Food Great also. A MUST if traveling to pigeon forge or Gatlinburg or a local. Definitely worth every penny hands down! Even has river where ya can sit, eat, talk, & enjoy nature a small getaway from reality. Even had the river beside it where we enjoyed a little quite lunch we took out from the grille inside.

Great outdoor experience! Only thing that was wrong that the staff should follow the rules about people ?kids? bumping into others. In our visit we had a group of kids that kept getting on and off the same track even when they had been bumping into cars before even starting and while racing. Not a lot of menu choices, but the experience it self was fun.

Good attraction to take the kids to spend the day. Able to leave and come back without having to pay again. Worth it.

Had an unexpectedly great time. We went to do go carts and ended up spending more time in the arcade. The absolute best part was Keira, as she went out of her way to make my kid happy & provided the best customer experience. It's the little things.

Our family enjoyed racing cars while on vacation! Even my 6 year old was so excited they had two tracks that he could drive his own car on!

We got tickets to this place through a time share deal, so we did pay significantly less than we would have at the gate. We only went for about 3 hours but it was so worth it! There's a good court and everyone was very nice. They have a large arcade area inside. Their tracks are awesome. All of our kids really enjoyed all of it!

Our family had an amazing time! There were things for everyone to enjoy. Even our 4 years old had a blast! The all day pass is definitely worth the price. Our kids loved being able to ride as many times as they wanted. Special shout out to Ian who really went above and beyond to make our experience special. It is so good to see someone genuinely enjoy their job.

Well worth the money for a day of fun. All of the employees were friendly and helpful. Amy B at the entrance was great. We purchased wristbands and tickets for virtual reality, but we left the VR ticket on the countertop. Amy set it aside and had it waiting for us when we came back I came with my nephews and my parents. My dad is 76 and still a kid at heart. The employees at the go karts were great about patiently helping him get out of the carts and making sure he was steady on his feet after getting out

Parking $5, junior wristbands $35 (excluded tax and fee, Kid 36 inches cashier still said he can ride the baby ride car but actually kids cannot reach the pedal Make sure your kids 40 inches for the ride, don't hear the cashier ??

Probably the favorite attraction we visited. Well worth the money. All the staff we interacted with were very friendly. We also really liked that we could leave and come back later the same day. Highly recommended for kids and adults.

Always a great time...but during the day it will be hot in the summer. Best time to go will be after 5pm

Great little place for a day out. The staff is always incredibly friendly and kind to us. Plenty of rides so lines are never crazy long. Sometimes they're short staffed so staff are running multiple rides, but they're always so accommodating and friendly regardless. This particular trip, the person running the roller coaster was having a blast with the kids as it came around which made them enjoy it more. This place is disability friendly.

Total ripoff in my opinion. I had 2 four years old that are 42 inches tall. When I purchased their armbands I was told they could ride EVERYTHING but the go carts. After spending $35 per armband they were only allowed to ride 4 kiddie rides which only two were open to ride, plus the baby go carts.so for $70.. I got 1 kiddie go cart and 2kiddie rides.

Was definitely a good stop with our older girl. She's 13 and this was her first time go karting ever, she loved it! She even beat me in a few races (I definitely didn't let her ??). She had such a blast that we were there for 5 hours and it wasn't SUPER busy, so we had minimal waiting in those 5 hours. She liked the mini golf, but that was short lived and back on the go karts! Special thanks to the awesome staff!

Great concept and our group of six did enjoy the experience, but the speed of the go carts needs to be addressed. You never knew if you were going to get a decent go cart that would go somewhat fast or one that was so slow that others on the track would lap pass you twice during a race! Every one in our group had this happen to them multiple times and were frustrated. For a group of six and around $300, one would expect consistency in the kart speed and that how fast one goes depends on the driver.

I will start by saying this place has a lot to offer. Tickets are good all day, come and go. There are many tracks and many activities. Price wise its not cheap. My current trip had my son and I get 3 go-kart rides in and 2 rounds of mini golf in 6 hours. The waiting is the worst part, like Disney:30-40min wait for a 5 min ride. That could all change depending on your time of the year here, and we were here after a holiday. Mini golf was fun, the arcade is decent and not the worse I've seen. They have a lot

Took my kids here. Pretty awesome place. However, the minimum height requirement is 36 inches. My youngest daughter is just above that. So I figured it would be ok and she can just go on the little kids stuff. We get there and after spending $160 on wrist bands, they decide she is too short. Won't even let her do mini golf. Spoke to the manager and he said that he was sorry that there was nothing he could do. I wouldn't have been so upset if they would have said that from the beginning before issuing us the

Not really a great place for adults. The mini golf holes were not that well maintained; the water was completely off. The only gokart track with the fast cars was an extra fee, which was not clear when the $45 admission cost said "unlimited rides". Parking was also $5. Felt very nickel and dimed.

We visited here during vacation, and I just wanted to give a special shout out to three employees, Josh, Austin, and Shameal. Josh was running between four rides and doing an amazing job! Austin was helpful to me and my kids when getting on and off rides, and Shameal was just a bubbly, smiling, and happy spirit. we had so much fun and would definetly come back!

It's worth the money and there is so much to do. If you got big kids ir small kids it's a great place for both of them.

The very first worker pictured was absolutely amazing. She was so sweet and helpful with our smallest. She went above and beyond to make her feel safe and excited. The outside crew all around was pretty awesome. Enjoyed our lunch, and arcade time as well. We got what we expected and then some. Definitely delighted with our first visit. Come early !!!

For the money you pay on this place you would think it would be better equipped for those who are in wheelchairs and strollers . My daughter was in her wagon and we waited 45 minutes in the area that said wait here for an attendant to help with handicap crossing . Gave up and when I seen someone I let them know how ridiculous that was and they should design the park where it was better accessible for handicap. Also , one attendant is working like 4 to 5 rides over in the kiddie area ??????? these kids have

The facility seemed well kept for the most part. The staff weren't necessarily rude but they were not welcoming or friendly. The biggest issue was the price. $40 to do anything or you do nothing at all. I wish there would?ve been an in between price. I chose to miss out completely rather than pay that much for just a ride or two with my kids. My 7&8yo could only do 1 track by themselves but they were too old for most rides.

Good place with kids. Littles must be 40" to ride double with an adult. Didn't read well enough before we got our tickets. Have lots of rides for them under 40". Did the mini NASCAR add on was fun but number 3 car was a lot faster then the rest so try to grab that car!

My experience here was okay at best. I rode on two tracks, and then my excitement fizzled. My kids, however, loved it. They all had a great time. The mini coaster and train. The carnival rides and race track. They even enjoyed the arcade. There was not enough staff to run rides. Many of the staff were running back and forth to run a ride, shut it down. Then open up a ride and run it. That's a lot for anyone. They deserve a raise. This place was dirty. There was garbage in the arcade and around the rides. Th

Bought 3 pro passes. There was 1 kid at one of the go kart areas named Chandler. As I waited I noticed that He seemed to anticipate the needs of the riders, very kind, and thoughtful.!!! Give this kid a raise. There was a kid in the outside drink area that tried to over change me for a drink when the prices were very clearly stated outside the window. That was odd. Other than that, all good

Got the wristbands race, cars were cool. Mini Golf was okay, made the mistake of not driving another couple minutes down the road, though. To find out that there were many other racetracks and Golf courses, the we're much more in depth and cheaper better tracks for racing and more to offer. All in all the place is fun and the staff was great

Was a good fun time but unfortunately the big track was out of order when we went and some of the cars were so slow that in the 3 laps or so you would get lapped. The arcade was fun too

Neat place. Our 5 year old being able to drive alot of the go-carts was nice. I wish there was some better shade spots throughout the park (especially on the left thrill half), maybe some water misters for when its high 80s/90s out. The carts don't go very fast. Fix your arcade games though! Every claw game here is rigged to not handle the weight of the items (even the light ball dead-on will go up to the top fully enclosed around the ball and then drop it). The button on the right scissor game was broken.

Pretty cool little place! My husband and daughter (9) loved it. My 2.5 year old on the other hand seemed like a waste of money although he is 37 inches, a lot of the ride were too fast or slung him around and he didn't like it. He tried the baby Bristol but his legs weren't strong enough to push the paddle down. It was 101.00 for the 3 of them. Workers were friendly, we were there for about an hour and half before they finished everything.

Fun outdoor activities. Numerous go-kart tracks, 2 mini golf courses, bumper boats, and several carnival style rides. Was a little taken aback that they charge $5 to park, on top of the price of everything else.

This place has a $5 parking fee. It's pretty pricey to get a day pass. They have an arcade, several racetracks for every age. They have dirty restrooms. We got to there two hours before closing and the kids were ready to go after and hour and a half. I don't recommend this for big party?s or teens. The go carts slow down close to closing time. Save your money and go the Skyland Ranch.

We have visited the speed park twice now and we absolutely love this place. We love that you pay one price for unlimited number of rides for the day. We always leave out and get lunch and then return and make it a full day of go carts, mini golf, bumper boats and much more. There is something to do for all ages. All rides are very well kept, and all employees are friendly regardless of how hot or tired they are. We did a YouTube review of our day as well. Check it out at The Dowdle Homestead.

Wow? they're obviously not making enough so they have to charge for parking as well. In actuality, the cost of the armband for all day access isn't bad at all. The karts for the kids were perfect. Any adult looking for a thrill is going to be dissatisfied as they are all turned down so much that you can't even really race. They even look slow while waiting your turn. I wouldn't ever go back if looking for a place for older kids and adults, only for the youngest as there are plenty of rides and go karts t

Absolutely amazing. You can easily spend your whole day there. A must while in Pigeon Forge. Lots of fun for the whole family. I suggest buying their souvenir cups. You have unlimited refills that you will use for your time spent there. We only got the Gatorade. Worth every penny. For lunch you are allowed to leave and come back. But they also have affordable food indoors.

Nothing but an overpriced tourist trap. They now charge five dollars for parking. Never seen such a money, hungry place in my life. Absolutely filthy restrooms. I hope the kitchen is cleaner. We refused to eat here.

For our family of 8 it was $360; that was without the large track and the additional ride. It was very busy so we were only able to do two of the tracks; we got there about 7:40. If you are staying close by and come and go in the day it is worth the money but for us who just wanted to ride a few times it definitely was not at all. The staff was super friendly and the place was very clean!! I would just recommend looking into the price before doing like we did!

I spent the day here with my 2 sons and we had a ball. Although it was hot, there was a water misting station available that I used quite a bit while they enjoyed the go carts. For a full day of activities, the price for unlimited rides was excellent and I would not hesitate to go back. I was looking forward to riding the tilt a whirl and the balloon ride but those were apparently down that day, so we only had the go cart options available.

We enjoyed a couple of the tracks until one of the careless workers slammed 2 go-karts into my foot, looked at me, and didn't say anything. Mind you, I was exiting the go-kart when they instructed us to. The worker decided to push a couple of karts forward as we were getting off. Other than that, we enjoyed our visit. The rest of the staff seemed friendly.

For my 5 year old son this was a great deal. He had a blast and spent most of the day here. We also got a pass for my husband as well and the lines were so long for the ones that he and our son could ride together that they were only able to ride one ride together. (It's hard for a 5 year old to wait 45+ minutes). Even though we ordered tickets online and did our waivers online we also waited 30 minutes to get checked in. This would be eliminated if people would do their waivers ahead; however, this is not

Very expensive. Cost my family of 5 about $250. It does come with unlimited rides however. There were two small tracks for the little ones, but don't count on any coaching from the staff to help them.

Very busy and blazing hot when we visited. Some unruly kids and their loud-mouthed, aggressive parents pretty much ruined the day. If we did it again, I think the multi-day pass would be the way to go. It was nice that even the young kids had their own track to drive on.

Great place for teens (and younger as well)! I took 2 high school groups and we had a blast! ??? This teacher won ?Best Teacher of the Year?????? thanks NASCAR for making this fun and easy to attend??

place was clean and nice. I took my wife and daughter there. the only raced the super speedway and it was around &70.00 for 10 laps. My daughters car was fast but my wifes was not. So pretty boring for her. But my daughter had fun .

I paid about $44 roughly. I do not remember the exact amount. They had 2 tracks for for adults. One of those is a shared track that you can ride with your kid. They also have a separate kids ride. They have another track and a ride not included with an all day pass. I didn't like that that had to be paid for separately so I didn't get it. We came with a group and there were plenty of other rides for kids. Family oriented. The pizza at the grill was delicious. So we're the fries. Definitely recommend the foo

All was pretty well except a couple of areas were not available. My son is 11, with tax was $50 for unlimited band, but that is worth it, a few times around it paid for itself. Good time

Excellent place!! There's something for everyone here. The price is right, too, you get a day pass with unlimited access to the park. This place is a MUST if you're vacationing in Pigeon Forge.

The Smokey mountain speedway is NOT good, it's a $20 increase IF you buy an unlimited band, 29$ is not. You can only ride it once and it requires you to show a valid divers licenses? Which is fine but is WILD considering how NONFUNCTIONAL these karts are, only 2 I would consider to be remotely fast and constantly lapped all the other karts. And that was just that one track. The others weren't any better. Multiple karts would just break down with people on them or would just NOT be able to keep up. This woul

Really fun go kart and amusement park for the kids. Lots of tracks geared at different age brackets, some kiddie flat rides, an arcade, and minigolf (One of the courses is superior to the other). Great family fun to spend a day!

If you want some good Ole fashion go cart fun this is the place. There is something for everyone of all ages here. The inside arcade is nice and a great way to escape the heat. They offer plenty of seating inside to eat, charge your phone, and grab a cold drink. The employees, even though they were teenagers, were extremely nice, helpful and polite. In fact I even commented how it was nice too see young people take their job seriously and still have fun doing it. The prices are great for what you get. If yo

Place was AWESOME!!!! Some karts were really fast others were slower. The tracks are pretty cool too. Foods okay, but cheapest. The deals this place has are really good too. You can get unlimited races all day long, you can even leave the park and come back later. My grandpa was able to drive slow and still have fun. Although, it depends on who you're racing. Some kid almost wiped me and a bunch of other people out in one of the tracks. The refs (or whatever they're called) don't call out people for bumping

a great place to spend a day with the kids ! clean & safe go-karts, plus a gaming arcade, food/drink and a gift shop too. ?? the staff, especially the managers, are super friendly and helpful

Paid over 300 dollars for our older kids and Grandkids to ride get in the park over half the rides not working and why charge full price and half of your rides are not running we have came here for years and never been this bad

I have went here for years. Last time down park officials didn't watch a couple kiddos who when going in to pits they never got the brakes and caused whiplash in my wife. This time I showed up with the whole family to enjoy the park. Process are they the rid now and they even want you to pay for parking. Will they just lost a few hundred dollars worth of business. Ended up going to a faster carting place. Sad to see a great place going to crap...

It's definitely a great experience for a group of friends or to bring your family. We'll priced too compared to other go-karts I've been too. I will be back when I'm in the area

Thanks to the fantastic crew at the Smokey Mountain Railway! They were amazing!! These guys made sure I was safe and harnessed in and never felt safer. We had been here many years ago and it's still as much fun! Thanks crew at the speedway!

Our family had a blast its a little on the expensive side now we've been several times and the price has went up and don't like the fact that you have to pay to park but we all had fun on the go carts and they have a small roller coaster the kids had fun. Highly recommend going if you haven't been.

Got there early on a Thursday and had a little bit of fun. Bought the unlimited ride wristband. Some tracks are fun while others are really hard to make a pass on even with a faster kart. I highly recommend the Smoky Mountain Speedway. It was worth the extra money. The only downfall I had was wanting to go back the next day and there was a person at the entrance booth who hands a red ticket and some coupons for attractions. The red ticket was 5 dollars for parking that I had to pay before I could go ride th

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?
