We went to three of the pirate putt putt golf places while on vacation down here and I have to say this was the best one so far. The lovely couple inside that got us our putters and balls were so sweet and kind. The different holes were a blast. My 4 year old son loves putt putt and he said this was his favorite one. The holes aren't too hard but provide a challenge and something different. One of the holes you get to putt on the pirate ship. We will definitely be back when down again.

The Top Putt Putt Course in OBX Perhaps?! No doubt this is a family friendly, well maintained, and fun putt putt course in the heart of Nags Head. If there was any criticism to provide it's simply how expensive Putt Putt has gotten for family entertainment.

Appears to have brand new turf on the whole course. Super friendly staff, spotless bathrooms, nicer than some actual golf courses. The course is very fun for the whole family without being goofy and unplayable.

There is no question there are countless miniature golf locations to pick from in this area. I have been to one with a train but I thoroughly enjoyed the details put into this particular location. I got a kick out of the t-shirts and merchandise inside. We attended on a couples retreat on a beautiful Saturday afternoon in October. The 18-hole course configuration was fun!

Fun putt-putt experience for all ages with a friendly staff (the day we were there) and a nice lobby check-in area out of the heat. Very clean and well laid out to avoid people stacking too much on each hole. Not a difficult course making it more manageable for smaller children.

At this point, our family has tried nearly every mini golf location in the OBX... but this one may be our favorite! The course is well maintained, it held everyone's interest (even our 4-year-old), and we have no complaints. The holes weren't too difficult, which made it enjoyable for all ages, and the fun pirate theme added an extra layer of excitement. A great spot for a laid-back family outing?we'll definitely be back!

Very fun course to play! Can play as many times as you like before 4:00. People inside are very nice, however, wished I could have chosen a club on my own. You'll enjoy Mutiny Bay if you like to putt-putt like we do!!

This was a great experience! Theming is top notch and a few holes have cool effects that I won't give away. There's a stroller friendly path which as a new mom I really appreciate. This path is not handicap accessible though. You still have to walk up stairs to get to the holes. The workers were really nice and it's obviously well kept. I would highly recommend going here.

What a fun place to play mini golf. The level was medium, it wasn't hard or too easy. Perfect place to bring kids and wheelchair assessable! We played 2 games because it's unlimited games until 4 (Make sure to have your receipt). The execution of their pirate theme was on point!! Come give this place a try!!

My family had lots of fun playing mini golf in this pirate adventure theme. We enjoyed each hole because each of them had a different theme, and always had good laughs. A great way to enjoy the afternoon with friends and family.

Longest game of mini-golf ever! It is the 4th of July week, and we came on Thursday, July 6th, around 9 pm. We waited about 20 minutes to pay, 20 minutes to actually start our game, a few minutes after each hole, and it took nearly 2 hours to finish just after 11 pm! It was a challenging course, clean and well maintained. All-in-all, we had fun, I just wouldn't recommend going when it's busy!

My wife and I wanted to play some putt-putt, and this place looked really cool ? and it was! Awesome atmosphere, fun course, and a great spot to spend some time together. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

Very very busy mini golf location. Expect to wait in line but it moves fast. Not too much for moving obstacles on the course and it was relatively easy. Not expensive and a nice view of the sunset.

Best mini golf on the outer banks. We've tried several and this one is well kept, the holes are challenging but fun, and the staff are incredibly nice. We'll definitely go back again.

Great place to go with kids. The owners are friendly and prices are fair. They have shaded benches so that helps when it's hot. Is go there again.

Very good mini golf, challenging enough but still fun for everyone. The only thing I'd mention is that the course got clogged up due to many groups starting at once. There is seating at the beginning of each hole.

This is an 18-hole mini-golf park that is very well designed. The pirate theme is very well expressed throughout with the pirate ship, cannons scattered throughout, water splashing from cannonballs (not real) and pirate voice-overs. My kids really enjoyed it here. There's a gift shop there.

This is the cheapest mini golf course around in the area and honestly quite my favorite. It wasn't busy really and we didn't have to wait long behind other groups. I loved the pirate theme it was very interactive with sound effects, water features, and decor. The courses were increasingly challenging and they have an area before the first hole where you can practice putting if you so choose to. Kudos to the staff for being so friendly! I believe we paid ~$24 for 2 people. Very well priced!

The course is in very good shape with some challenging holes. Very slow play, in part due to multiple EIGHTSOMES on the course ahead of us. (Make sure you apply plenty of sunscreen!) It would be good for mngt to limit the size of groups. But, one of the nicer minigolf courses on OBX.

The holes are fun to play, and the props suit the pirate theme. Even when it was busy, the groups moved through the holes without that much waiting.

It was a fun atmosphere. Holes were pretty basic as far as skill level. Busy and had to wait a lot.

Friendly staff greets you upon arrival. Cost is average for the area. A nice feature was unlimited play until 4pm. Terrain and obstacles are of an easy level. Course is not the most challenging but it is perfect for a family.

My family of 6 took a little over an hour to go through the coarse. We were very happy! Found out between 10am-5pm [if purchased before 4pm] you can golf as many times as you want. Just come inside and get a new ball.

Four adults on vacation (50s plus) and we had a blast. A wonderful course and the weather was perfect. Staff or owners were super nice we will remember our pirate adventure for years to come. Played here last week on my vacation! Had so much fun we came back for a second day before we left! It was very busy and we had to wait at each hole to putt but it was worth it! Will definitely go back next vacation!!

Nice little course. As with most some is skill and some are luck but it was fun.

We had a great time! The game was challenging but fun and not too difficult. The pirate theme was entertaining and the landscaping was really pretty! My only gripe was that some of the holes too a while and caused a couple of back ups. But overall a great experience!

Had a good time here. Was told we could play as many games as we wanted after buying one game!!! We enjoyed this course. We played after a rain, the greens were soaked and slowed the ball down.

Had so much fun playing here on our last night of vacation. The course has so many interesting holes, and the pirate themed scenery is awesome! My sons said this is their favorite mini-golf course in OBX.

$72 for 6 of us to play & we had a great time! It took us about an hour and a half to play 18 holes. Some were very challenging! ?? Which the kids love a good challenge. The pirate theme was really cool. The sound affects were neat and the water was very pretty. There were lots of people there, from just couples to families with little kids & big kids. We will definitely be back on our next trip to the OBX!

This is one of the best mini golf courses at any beach on the east coast. Nothing unique about the holes, but everything is clean and maintained. The holes make sense and do not have gimmicks. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

Well kept course. Holes not too hard and is fun for the whole family. Only one 18 hole course so it can get crowded. Some holes have steps so if you are unable to climb steps then I wouldn't attempt this course. The cups are shallow so the ball will bounce out, otherwise I would give it five stars.

This place needs to work on transparency when it comes to wait times. The course is obstructed from the parking lot by the admission building, which itself doesn't have open windows facing the mini golf. We thus had no clue (nor were we warned by the staff) that we were behind four large parties even before hole one, themselves behind similarly sized parties through hole 18. Such a cute little spot! Very classic feel to this surprisingly challenging mini gold course! Not sure if the pricing is the same all year, but $9/person got us unlimited play for the day in the off-season... overall a fun course, but costumer service was not good. We walked in the course at 9:30 mind you it doesn't take a half and hour to do a couple holes. we checked out paying around $80 - $100 for all of us (6 people). We start on the first hole and we see a lady come walking to us and said we could not play together, and if we don't play how she wants us to play then we can leave. overall it was fun but you shouldn't treat your costumers that spent $80-$100 on MINI golf like that. Well maintained putt putt course. Enjoyed our afternoon? the course is great for little ones (not too challenging of holes).

Course was great, Lighting at night is poor, half the lights weren't even on until we got ready to leave. Then on the 18th hole a big snake comes slithering out a bush across the walk path and we almost stepped on it. Yikes. Can't control nature but so much but I'd rate this 5 stars during the day. We had a downpour as soon as we started. Unfortunately, there was no type of drainage in the course so it made golfing impossible. We waited awhile to see if the water would go down- it didn't. No refunds were given, even to the many people that hadn't even started yet. Very poor way to run a business.

Good experience with two children and one adult. We went in the afternoon and the crowds were not too bad. All day golfing for $12 until 5pm. Nice set up and the holes are not impossible.

My kids loved this place! (Except, one of my kids was slightly frightened by the cannon blasts!) The holes were fun to play, I like that you can play multiple games for one price before 4pm, and the people who work there were delightful! They had the cutest pup that they let us pet! We really enjoyed our time there and will go back again!!

Fun course from my childhood. The people running the counter were rude enough to ruin your day, as if you were in trouble for even arriving. As a customer service manager that does $50M+ a year, these people wouldn't have made it through an interview. Sad because you would think senior citizens would value their customers, especially a family with children. My advice, go check out Lost Treasure. We had lots of fun and we didn't have a wait to play!

Staff are courteous and kind. Course was fun with the ?cannon balls?. Had to leave 3/4 of the way through because the mosquitos were so bad we were miserable. Two other families behind us also left early because of mosquitoes near the last four holes.

Super fun, well maintained mini golf course! Price point was very reasonable too. This place would be great for little family outings! My husband and I had a great time and would definitely return.

Mutiny Bay mini golf was one of the better mini course in the Kill Devil Hills area. Very clean and nicely decorated, greens in very good condition. The owners are extremely nice and warned us that it would take about 1/2 hour to start on the first hole. It was busy and took us about 2 hours to play all 18 holes, but it was fun! We did 2 other mini golf courses during our stay, and they were not nearly as well kept as this one.

Had a great time here the 2 people in the office were so nice and sweet. The course was easy enough especially if you have kids. Just a nice putt putt day!

We had a great time. We were a party of 10 and the nice folks that worked there were friendly and asked us kindly to split us into 2 groups of 5 to make sure things go smoothly and to not back things up. Which is nice for other, smaller groups. The grounds were nice and the holes were well kept. Definitely reccomend!

The golf course is clean and well designed. The course was very easy- it was a little disappointing that it did not get progressively harder like some other mini golf courses. What was very annoying was that there was no enforcement of their own 4 person/group rule. We had several large groups of in front of us that really slowed down the game for us and the other groups around us. Prices were fine.

Very nice course, not too difficult, but just challenging enough to make it fun! The restrooms were clean and the staff was friendly. We really enjoyed the design of the course, and the small shady spots for sitting along the course. There is a small gift shop and a couple of games located inside the lobby. They also have pre-packaged ice cream and water and drinks available. We enjoyed it.

Amber was extremely customer service oriented and very helpful, I failed to ask the other girl?s name that was working the counter but she was equally helpful. I've been here 20 minutes and I haven't even gotten to play the first hole because there's so many people but hey it gives me time to write this review lol

Fun pirate-themed course and every hole is possible for a hole-in-one which made the competition more exciting! Paid $10 per person but they said we could play multiple times if we wanted. What a great afternoon activity!

This is a great course! Very clean, beautifully landscaped, plenty of benches, and a great breeze to keep you cool. It's also cheaper than Lost Treasure and just as fun. Not too hard for younger kids.

My daughter and I enjoyed this mini golf very much. Somehow I lost but I think it was a corrupted score keeper. This place is very well maintained and has a fun theme. The holes are fun and not overly challenging. It can be a busy place as we experienced following some slower groups but we made the best of it. We went here based on the good reviews and it didn't disappoint. The practice green in the beginning was a bonus.

Was packed, but even with a very long line, it went smoothly. When packed, you can only play in groups of 4 and 4 strokes per hole before you need to move on to the next. Doing this on a packed night 18 holes can take 2 hours. But our family had fun, just wear lots of bug spray.

Mutiny bay is an incredible mini golf course! My family showed up shortly before they were shutting down for the evening and they still squeezed us in, which really made our night! It's a very well maintained course, had a very special time, no complaints! Cool pirate ship!

So the game of golf went well, this review is strictly for the rude staff in the clubhouse. Older woman in a Winnie the Pooh sweatshirt specifically..after golf our son went to play a claw machine they have in the clubhouse. It said 4 quarters to play, so I handed my son 4 quarters which he put in the machine. It didn't work. Before I could even go over and ask, the older woman came over and said, ?it costs $1 to play?, to which I told her my son had put 4 quarters in the machine already. She then said, ?no

Very fun golf course, however the waits are absurd and they don't warn you ahead of time that you will have 8-10 people waiting per hole. 18 holes of adventure? More like 18 holes of waiting around. They take advantage of this by offering no refunds and putting benches between the holes. Might I recommend replacing them with beds since you'll definitely have all of your energy drained watching young kids hitting their ball 5 times per party.

My husband and I love mini golf so we had to come play on our 1 year wedding anniversary. It's a great place. Not too challenging but not too easy either. There were people of all ages there when we were playing. It was a blast!

Great course! The greens were well maintained. We went after dark so the temp was great with a nice breeze from the sound. Good sunset viewing too!

I'm sure the course here is fun, but my family and I were unable to play due to the ridiculous wait time after we paid. Staff and the front older lady (I beleive "Alisha") do not let you know of wait times and the course is mostly blocked from view until you actually enter the course after paying. Refunds are an impossibility. The front older lady will become extremely rude and all customer service will go out the window if you ask her questions about it or ask why they don't inform people about wait times.

I'm not one to leave a bad review but the experience at this mini golf place really left a bad taste in my mouth. My party and I had a called this place in advance to make sure they were open till 10 because of Memorial Day and the woman who answered the phone said they were so we arrived at 905pm, on the course by 910. Nice golf location. When I first saw that the par was 2 on all holes I was bit concerned but it was nice par 2. It would be a lot better if there were some longer holes. But the atmosphere is nice. It was crowded but not overly so. This course is best for people who are not great at golf. As a side note the par is more like 3 and you will have a hard time hitting 2.

Such a great time! The course is very fun and has some challenging holes. There are so many photo opportunities at this course. Also, great views of the water from some holes. The staff was very friendly the entire time. Everything was clean and they provided hand sanitizer at multiple spots. For being near the oceanfront, the prices were great. Had a great experience here.

Great Putt Putt place. Probably the best on the island. The kiddos loved it because it's a pirate theme and has a pirate ship so how could they not. The holes were actually pretty challenging and my family had a blast. It does get busy because it is a very popular place. It's prices are competitive and it is extremely fun. Highly recommend.

We had a lot of fun on this mini golf course, and it was really reasonably priced. The pirate theme really carries through all the holes, and the atmosphere is great. Our only complaint was that we wished some of the holes were more complicated (windmills, water hazards, etc.). Worth a stop overall!
