Customer Reviews

Very nice and clean we went on a Friday surprisingly it wasn't overwhelming but maybe I was a bit early about 8:30ish but it was nice and peaceful. Staff is very attentive to. I really enjoyed my food vs. The old one in b'ville it didn't have taste to bland. But this place is very nice and the food is tasty.the salad bar is very clean and pretty fresh items to choose from. Pasta has tasted very good. Alfredo, it does finish quick tho. But it's well worth it. Pizza is very good and hot, not greasy. As far as

1st these glasses were not even safe for the eclipses, so the class didn't get to watch it. 2nd, I tried to redeem it for my child and they don't do the free pizza, just the 5 dollar game card. I said fine let's do it. Then she said u have to purchase a buffet in order to redeem it... ??. Wow! I wasn't planning to dine in. The pizza says carry out only so that's what I had plans for. Their dining is never clean. This is very cheap of the business! I don't see us coming back. We tired it before and the games

Came here yesterday for lunch, got me a spicy spaghetti, pasta, salad and a cinnamon roll. Mind you manager and busser service was great not complaining. But, when I bit I to the cinnamon roll it tasted funny so I checked it (that's why it looks a mess) it looked and tasted undercooked. I went up to show them and the cook said "when I make them we put butter on them" I told him are you sure I've been here before and they have never came out like this. So this other coworker shrugs and rolls her eyes like mm

Avoid. I wish I could say at least something positive about this place, but I've got nothing. Lettuce pieces were sitting in standing water, all salad bar options were oddly wet. Pizza was dry and looked / tasted like microwaved leftovers even though the pizzas were just brought out. I've heard the McAllen location is better.

The salad was delicious... spegetti on point...the broccoli soup OMG.... everything was delicious..they added more games to.the game room...me n my kids ate so much and had a lot of fun

Great for birthday parties and the staff was great. They help us clean & w the birthday cake.

Very chill environment and the food is good! I just wish there were more pizza and dessert options."

We love Mr Ghattis! Great food at a reasonable price! They have a great salad bar and dessert as well. Our son enjoys the pizza variety and the great big game room! Also, they have a delicious fried/cooked spaghetti that everyone outta try. Just careful cause it's a little spicy.

We took the family for our nephews birthday and they loved it!! We all enjoyed our time dining and playing games. Food was fresh, hot and yummy! The place was really cleaned and well sanitized. We did have an issue with one game charging our game card and resetting, but the nice lady in the game room fixed the issue. She made my nephews birthday so special by helping him with his tickets. He was able to get the dinosaur egg he had been wanting ??????. We will definitely be going back monthly!

It's just what you'd expect from a pizza buffet. The salad bar was probably the best part.

Gatti's pizza ?? in Weslaco is a great place to get the best tasting pizza and salad . The pizza here is cooked to perfection, and salad for bar has fresh salad and all fixings to make a masterpiece colorful salad ?? and it's lip-smacking good.

This place was very dirty most of the games were broken and looks like it hasn't been fixed in months the dishes look like all they got was a rinse and the food later made me threw up along with some friends please properly clean your dishes and fix the machines??

The Alfredo was dry so I asked the lady if they had more sauce to put on it. She took the pan of it in the back. I took some on my plate and when I went to eat it it was cold. All she did was pour milk on it. This is bad customer service.

No pizza at all the ppl are shoving you to get up there to get pizza ...Noone said a thing...like a damn zoo with animals...now I know not to come back and then can't even enjoy your food elwith people trying to come.up to you inside the resteraunt and try to male a sell..like come on I hav ealready said no twice move along..( should be illegal..) where I'm from it's called loitering

Really good, we enjoyed. The only bad thing was the karen that was there. Fresh pizza, good salad bar, employees are constantly cleaning. Please continue as you are doing. The employees are friendly, and respectful. Our bellies are full and happy. Oh yes bigger cups please.

This place was bad, dirty, not to mention staff, rude, and for the most part, were able to help in anything the private party room was so small and hot very uncomfortable everything was a mess

Sorry but we pay for buffet and we have to wait 15 min for pizza and pasta. No sense of urgency and you ask for food and they have faces. The manager needs to manage. Retrain for sure.

Piter piper pizza is better $1.50 just to play one game what do you think I made out of money

Enjoyed our evening with our daughters place was clean and buffet area was stocked

Me and the wife go to place .We can both eat for 21 dollars.Salad bar awesome will make you a pizza to share if you don't like what out

Cashier looked spooked to even talk to us. Social anxiety is what I'm assuming she had. Food was good. My kids were happy to go there. Da busboy also looked scared AF to pick up our dirty plates, in fact he asked for our permission. I thought it was just awkward. Other than that, da place was dead. I really like that no one goes there at least that's what it seems like when we've gone. It's quiet, chill, overall good vibes. But da people that work there should not be afraid to socialize.

Food was food. The kids were disappointed with the game selections, but over all good place

Hadn't been to a Mr. Gatti's in years because it just wasn't that good. Well, I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was very clean and the food was pretty good. The pizza was really good, and the staff kept the buffet line neat and clean.

This location does a great job of serving its customers. The place is always clean and the buffet is always full of food. This is a must for anyone looking for pizza buffet.

Got what I expected going to pizza buffet. Location was clean and even thought it was busy kept fresh pizza ready to go

We had our kid birthday party and they all had fun. It was easy to book, the party room is spacious, and the host was nice and attentive to us. The food was delicious, we were impressed with the large variety. The arcade offers lots of games. Definitely recommend for birthday parties and just to go have good fun and food with the family.

First time at this location and I can't believe how dirty everything is. The restrooms were extremely dirty!

If you are wanting to book a party at this location I would definitely consider another establishment. Firstly, Let me begin by stating when booking your party online be very SPECIFIC. I always cover for the children(4-12years) and adults purchase their own buffets. When booking I included this detail in the reservation and received a phone call the following day from a manager giving further detail and confirming my reservation. I asked if there was a place for pinata and I was told yes. Ok perfect right

When we travel pass Weslaco for skill meets is a great place for the kids to get some food and play some games.

Their prices are great. also, they offer a special of 2 adults, 2 kids, which includes 2 $8 gameplay cards. You'll pay around $50 which is actually a good deal. Pizza options and pizza availability far exceeds the nearby competition. They have a great salad bar, for which by the way, you won't be charged extra for ham or cheese. They have soup and baked potatoes on the buffet line, too! Be ready to have a nice meal with great options and be ready to have a great time in the game room.

Went to dinner last night, food was fresh and delicious. My kids enjoys the variety pizzas and games offered. Establishment was kind of small, but very clean and bright, employees were very polite and attentive. Game room was well lit unlike other locations where it's dark and musty. Only disappointment was that they did away with their chocolate pizza and brownies which was the main reason we had gone. Other than that everyone and everything was great will be returning :-)

Disappointing after eating at the Mr. Gratti's in McAllen. Pizzas not as fresh. Less icing on the rolls, and less of a selection at the salad bar. And cost me $4 more on top of that! Neither place labels the dressing, leaves us to guess. The sweet tea was good. Check out the reply and check it out yourself. Yes, I will try it again....

Nice place. Very spacious. Chill environment.

Love his place, miss the location in harlingen the food is great the service is pretty good. The atmosphere is very family-friendly with a lot of tvs playing disney movies. There are fun arcade games.

My mom would always get extra glaze on her cinnamon rolls and this time the lady that was there told her ?we don't do that no more? but with attitude as if she was too lazy and didn't wanna do it after all that my mom was mad and her day was ruined. we're going back to cicis because we've not had a problem and they put more glaze on their cinnamon rolls!

Ned to change colors on the walls where us eating floor feel like prison grey / black also food change to add something to it, but game is good for internamente.

Everything was super low. Low energy from the start, even though it is new it had a depressing ambiance. The food definitely reflected the atmosphere of the place. They say you can taste the energy of the people who make your food. And this was a huge red flag, lack of flavor was at every item i chose. The game room area (which should be lively) was just loud, not from the patrons but just from music being played and the games sounds. I am sad to see that this what I got for paying almost $52. I will not b

Discovered this place after trying a similar place nearby. Were a little reluctant to try Mr. Gatti's after finding out there is an arcade there, but it is separated and in another room so is not a nuisance! Food is fresh and there is a good selection of salad items and pizza varieties. Very clean for as many people as were there and affordable for what you get. Employees were also very friendly! So close for us and easy choice!

Wish I had took more pictures but there was no pizza or silverware I never saw a manager

This was the CLEANEST buffet I have ever been to. Not just the serving area, or eating area, but the restrooms and game room were spotless as well. There is an older gentleman who picks up the dish and he would go by every table asking if everyone was ok. He made sure everyone was happy, and checked to see if there was anything we needed. He made our experience even better with his kindness. I highly recommend this location!

It was a good value. The arcade could have more games, the selection of items on the buffet was plenty. The space was clean and the service was great. If they would have had more games, it would have been a five star rating.

I did not like the food. Pizza buffet is usually low quality and taste, but they did have a good variety. I liked that they had a salad bar so that was a plus for me. I went with the family on Saturday and was surprised to see the place almost dead. They do have friendly service, though.

Love going .it used to a fav of mine as a kid and know I take my own . It's even better than before

It was poor the pizza was cold and the coke machine wasn't working and they didn't tell us when paid

This place is fun and the food os very good. It is an interesting mix of customers because they get seniors looking for a bargan, plus there are families with little kids. The children in there were very well behaved. The pizza was fresh and hot. The salid bar looked great. People working there are helpful and friendly. We will be going again soon.

Was expecting it to be like other Mr. Gatti's, but was very disappointed. Not much of a variety, pizza was cold, staff wasn't very friendly with the exception of cashier and the young lady buzzing tables(sorry I didn't catch your name sweetie, but you are very hardworking). Dining area was messy and staff were on their phones or chit-chatting till I believe it was manager whom came by and handed one of them a brom and dustpan. So, no not impressed. Sorry, but do not think my husband and I will be back t

Wow, they were on their game! The event brought in over 150 people within 2 hours and the food was constantly flowing, tables were being cleaned, and everyone seemed to have a great time. Highly recommend this place to host an event! Thanks Mr. Gatti's!

Food was as expected but the cleaning up of tables and floor could be better. I know it was Sunday and very busy. However, employees cleaning were not working dilentligy to make it look cleaner. With all that being said, customers also don't do their part to clean up after themselves. ??

Went on Sunday for dinner and half of these employees do not do there job. One of the people who pick up the plates of food looked drunk or high I don't even know what he was on but he looked like he was on something. He's short and a bit skinny but not too chubby, morenito there's several times I have gone and he always looked like he was on something but I can not believe they allow for employees to be like this and not fire them so unprofessional. Please do drug test if you're going to hire this was in W

Friendly welcome... Employee was super nice and made little chit chat while we waited for card to go through... Pizza and pastas were still warm and tasted so good... salad was fresh and crunchy... employees kept cleaning tables and dirty dishes regularly... I am super full and satisfied!! Only thing: bigger cups! I had to refill like 3x.. other than that, great service and food ??

Internet was done so kids were piss that they couldn't play games lol

It's a pretty good place. My cousin got some jello, and there were some like little pieces of black stuff in it. The service isn't bad, but they really aren't the best. The place is a little messy but still super clean. Overall, I think it's about a 4 star place.

Needs fresh food. I bring my child every Friday after dr visit & pasta is always from the day before, reheated. There has never been cheese or pickles for the salad. They wait till last minute to order food. So if it's finished you have to wait a long while for it to be served. The bathroom can be cleaner.

Salad bar was terrible, lettuce was limp, ranch dressing was watered down! Set up is terrible. Pizza bar was empty, one pizza at a time coming out. Soup was cold, pastas were all cold. Game room was hot! We will never go there again. Lots of employees walking around joking around and not paying attention to what is going on around them.

Very good for the price, staffvery nice, clean, good food.

This place has fallen hard. Wouldn't recommend there are much better options available nearby. Dirty restrooms and dining area, lots of games don't work, service is bad.

I walked in to see and be with family but they were wanting to church me as if I was gana eat wich I wasn't I was just there to be with family as they called me to go be with them the policy of charing someone who is not going to eat is stupid this is the first place I ever ever encounter this Mr Gattis was never like this if we didn't Wana eat they never charged but this new policy is stupid and not right really sucks that if you get invited by family to just be with family you still have to pay I don't se

Extremely upset by the treatment my family and I received. We had a large party, more than 30 guests, and a member of our family in a wheelchair. The tables in the dining area were close together leaving little room for wheelchair mobility. We asked to use the party room which was not in use and unreserved and even agreed to pay, but was denied. Cynthia, the manager, was extremely abrasive, rude, unprofessional, disrespectful and dismissive. I informed her we needed accommodations for wheelchair guest howev

Second time I have gone to this location and this time it's like it's being run by teenagers! It took them 5 mins for one one to attend us so we can pay for the buffet . Then when we go look for a table no straws no clean cups stuff all over then floor the salad bar no veggies just lettuce pizza buffet just maybe 4 or 5 pizzas on out there. They took forever to get the mac and cheese out no spaghetti either. Nor baked potatoes. Basically no food.they need a manager or an adult to watch over all the teenager

We wanted to have pizza and like to try different kinds. Perfect for Mr. GATTI's. Also had a great salad and cinnamon buns. Didn't feel crowded in the eating area. Dishes were removed as soon as we were finished with them. It was great!

Employees were ok. The game cards kept malfunctioning and kept getting charged double for each game. Got tired of going back and forth so just left it at that. Food was 4/10 in my opinion. Wish places like this were a bit more strict about letting people's kids run around and make a mess, especially with the food. Highly doubt we'll go back to be honest.

Very friendly welcome, yes. The pizza was was alright was into the soup and pasta more. Wish they had brownies but oh well. The games is where this place really shines! Incredible! Had so much playing all the games! I felt like a kid agian. Just wish there was better prizes :/ Definitely will be back again. :)

Always loved Mr. Gattis worked for the Harlingen location for a few years as a food service manager and felt my visit today was a little underwhelming. Food was great but staff seemed a bit overwhelmed with a seemingly slow day. I was told I could not place a request for a pizza. Overall not the best experience.

My experience was amazing here. Very well staff and management team. The food was fresh and tasted great! Brought my little cousins here and the game room was so convenient and awesome. Everyone enjoyed the place. Definitely will visit again!

Went for dinner there last night. Very disappointing in there pizza. Pizza was drowning in sauce. Crust was soggy. Hopefully this is not the new standard of Mr. Gatti?s. We enjoyed the Harlingen location many times. Wife and friends decided to go to Westlaco last to have dinner. Need to improve greatly before we go back.

5-22-22 Here it goes, was heading to McAllen with the fam from Brownsville, decided to go have lunch Mr gattis McAllen location but remembered they had just recently opened the weslaco location so we decided to stop by and go check it out since it used be a old lubys restaurant and saw they were doing a good amount of work and remodeling before they opened, showed up around 2:30pm, and the parking lot was packed! Didn't think it would be crazy inside but it was! Anyways they line to get pizza and salad was

First and last time that I will go there. That's not what I was expecting!! The one we had in Harlingen was way better!! Starting with the service, it was terrible. Pizza was not good at all & they couldn't even add ice to the machine. So sad use to love going to Mr. Gatti's. Hope they improve!!

It was clean and nice inside but My honest review is managers and leads were not communicating with each other and rudely didn't let me finish my food. A gentleman seating nearby just came and moved our table without prior warning and my plate almost fell, if I hadn't reacted and caught it on time. Saying you can't give my money back after a rude and horrible experience, and losing my appetite is unacceptable?

The pizza was old and bland. The desserts were even worse. Way overpriced for the food being served. Also, I didn't like that the workers were also eating from the buffet and it felt like I was competing with them to get the fresher pizza. Better off eating at the other pizza buffet nearby.

Pizza, pasta and salad were delicious! The game room is really big, my kids had alot of fun! The theater party room was huge! Great party packages, great service!

Came to the new one here in Weslaco,tx and disappointed so far. I feel like the design team on the inside of the restaurant didn't try. It's almost like eating at a cafeteria in jail. Walls are plain solid color, small tvs on the walls that I think should of been hung from the ceiling closer to the customers. Can't see the game room which I also think should of had glass window to where you can see the kids playing from where we eat. Crew are kids that don't have manners and are not properly trained for cu

The owners should know whoever is running this place makes it look ghetto. Maybe try to find someone else, it's not the same as it was when I last visited and I sure won't be coming back. Don't waste your money here folks! Drive to McAllen or better yet, Cici?s in the back.

Good place and good food. Friendly staff, Nobody was rude.

Only thing good about Gatti's is that you order your own pizza....service was sloppy workers playing on there phones and spaghetti and meat sauce empty customers shouldn't have to tell workers to fill empty food trays.

Very disappointing when they open everything was clean tables were clean. Dishes were clean fresh salad bar was fresh pizza was hot. Now it's cold. The only thing that was good was a cold Coke, but everything else was dirty.

1st time going to this one and its an Ok one compared to mcallen. Pizza was normal not as tasty as cicis or peter piper. The buffet is right at entrance after you pay. $11.99 per adult and 3 and under free. No long lines on a monday afternoon. The seating was a big room and had plenty. The game room did not have a variety of games. After spending $20 we only got 35 tickets! the games ranged from $1 to 1.50 that i played but there are more expensive ones. Overall The place didn't convince me to go again late

I wanted to like it so bad but I can't say I'd liked it and will not be going back anytime soon. 1st price per person was a little high and it automatically included a drink which are kids cup even for adults. 2nd dinner area wall colors are gray it looks so depressing for a kid place not prison dinner room. 3rd their was like approx 5 tvs in the dinner area, 1 tv was on showing news the other tv were off, im not crazy about kid tv (cartoons) but you figured they be ON with kids tv at a kids place. 4th the

So my mommy and I came to Weslaco to spend some time with my sisters on the 4th of July, We got to Mr. Gattis where some of the family was already at. We explained to the cashier that we've (mom and I) already eaten elsewhere, and are only here for family time. They proceed to insist that we pay to enter, so they are basically insinuating that we are trying to sneak in/eat for free. Mom and I left, the family is still there, this was our first time at Mr. Gattis in Weslaco, but I guarantee you it is also go

Bad customer service. Food seemed old. Spaghetti was like rubber and very dry. Doesn't compare to the old ways of Mr. Gattis . They need to work on the bad points. Great location but not good at all for our visit that evening.

While the food was great the options were minimal and we couldn't here the sound for the movie. We had my kids birthday there and they were quick to accommodate!! They are awesome

It was nice and everything and they also have a kids area like main event, the only issue was that I didn't know was that I could order my own type of pizza. Overall the food was amazing

This was a drab place where the only collective objective is to stuff your face with low quality food

Very nice place for the kiddos to play!

Great pizza buffet to bring the kiddos. Love the potato bar and soups set up. Did not get a chance to try the games but we will be back soon.

We only went because a group which we are part of went there. They definitely kept fresh pizza out, but it was drowning in sauce. We ate mostly desert pizza. It was good. Won't go back anytime soon

Not the food choices we were hoping for but overall the food was delicious. No brownies fyi for any mr gattis brownie lovers. Space was too small. The space where you eat is spacious but as for the arcade area and restrooms were small. Needs a bigger arcade area.

Customer service could be way better! The young lady barely spoke when asked questions. They don't take gift cards from other Mr Gatti?s! They referred me to the McAllen instead.

First time ordering from Mr. Gatti and their pizza was very good. We ordered a medium pan crust with 2 topping?s for pickup . Absolutely delicious! The reason for the 4 stars was the number on the website which was for the Weslaco restaurant actually belonged to the McAllen site. So, unbeknownst to me, I place the pick up order for the McAllen restaurant. We go to pick up the pizza and the employees at the pickup window were just looking at us until a young lady came to the window and asked if we called a

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
