I hadn't been in years and now I remember why. We were the only people there and they only had one dining room open. It was filthy. With the exception of a few clean tables. Every where else there was half eaten food plates, cups and trash all around. Although online and the outside sign said they were open till 11pm the employees said they closed at 10pm and refused service to anyone that came in after 9:45pm. We were there until 10pm and the dining room we were in was not serviced once.
Food is good when fresh. Idk what it is about the drinks but the ice smelled horrible it really ruined the mood and my appetite. Needs to be remodeled
This visit was very dissatisfying. I recommend proper changing tables in BOTH bathrooms. Pizzas were VERY slow to come out and the floor in front of the salad bar was dirty with food and never cleaned eventhough multiple employees walked right by it. The manager had a major attitude when asked questions. I do not recommend this restaurant.
WE got there about 4 pm... everything was fresh.. it had the best salad bar I have seen in a really long time... it was set up move, everything was fresh it was clean and it was really good... I ordered a specialty pizza and a son as it was done they let me know... it was the best place I have eaten in a long time... honestly, the salad bar may not have been as big as some of the bigger places, higher priced places to eat... but it was definitely prettier and fresher than any of the other places... I highl
My husband is absolutely in love with this place. Literally a child hood love. And now as an adult can eat here as much as possible.
Do not eat here. Bugs in the soda machine. I told the manager and he gave me free food vouchers. I told him I would not be back and didnt want them. He said well that's basically your money back. So disgusted.
Best pizza around! Fresh and original crust is the best!
We always stop here because it's on our way down to our beach property. Arcade is small and quite a few of the games just take your tokens..but the kids don't care and the ones that do work give you lots of tickets. My husband kept hitting the jackpot on the Simpson coin game. We came kinda late and they never put anymore cheese pizza out..thats all my kids will eat. Not a big deal but just know if you visit close to close they do stop putting out pizza until it's gone.
Mr. Gattis never disappoints! The buffet was awesome.
This was our first time at Mr gatti's Pizza The pizza was very good The desserts were okay they had a great salad bar. The game room was fun all in all I would say this is a pretty cool place to take your kids to definitely way better than CiCi's
Celebrated my son's 13 th birthday here! Great place to bring kids to play and eat with no waiting!
This place was old and kind of run down. The pizza was cold and the breadsticks tasted like the metal pan it was cooked in. After eating there, 10 minutes later I threw it all up! $14 for a pizza buffet is ridiculous.
Went there a few times. And all times place was dirty. Pizza was cold. Not much selection. Salad bar dirty. Employees on their cell phones then go and make pizza w out washing hands. Never greeted when walked in. Kitchen area needs some cleaning and lots of tiles replaced. Employee made a request pizza for themselves while cold pizza sitting for customers. Will not be returning there again. This is so sad. It all starts w management.
My husband and I visited this pizza place. I was impressed from the start. The lady that took our orders, was very bubbly and outgoing-ish, she was very very outgoing. We went to look and see what all was on their buffet. I took my plate and I got a salad and I have got to tell you. This place has an amazing salad bar. This salad bar was better than Jason's deli, even CiCi's Pizza. When we got there the lady asked us if she could make a special pizza for us. So I told her yes please, can you please make a
I love that place because the pizzas are really good and you also enjoy a salad bar. The price is really cheap for what you get I think. While the atmosphere isn't the best and the staff can be somewhat unfriendly, the quality of the food makes up for it.
Where to begin. First , the plates handed to us at the register were dirty plates. There's a long area for pizzas but there were only five pizzas out. Cheese pizza tasted a little off. The desserts were burned on the bottom. Got a salad and one of my cherry tomatoes was bad. My daughter used the restroom and the soap dispenser wasn't working. Employees weren't terrible. Only thing I can say is there really wasn't any interaction. Not even to ask how everything was. Very small selection of arcade games. Ther
From Victoria n Went there for my daughters birthday and was just not worth it. There was not enough selection of anything because wokers took to long to keep track of. Workers were never in thier assigned areas. Restrooms were disgusting with no paper towels. Very little games, about 10 games were broken with no signs not to use and taking our money. Overall besides the fair pricing on the buffet. We wont be going there again
My kids soccer coach took the team here. Good place to take a bunch of kids. The pizza is okay. That being said the restaurant has been at this location for a very long time and it looks tired and run down. The employees don't seem to be enthusiastic about working there.
It was good. Some pizza was burnt and the spaghetti is bland but overall a good experience. Supreme pizza was good. Cleanliness of the place is surprisingly nice.
We were stopping to get something to eat. Was disappointed by their outside sign saying praying for Israel. Then walking in the place smelled off. They were out of marinara sauce and the sauce they had had mushrooms in it. Paid 45 bucks for My 2 teens and myself to eat. Cinnamon rolls were under cooked.
The pizzas look like they had been sitting there awhile. The salad bar appearance was atrocious. This is not my caliber of establishment to dine... people was really eating from the salad bar where the vegetables/meats and eggs were all over the area, you couldn't quite determine which utensils to use because all of them had been dipped somewhere. I couldn't engage. This establishment was recommended to me by a co-worker as a good place to take my grandsons. The boys enjoyed the gameroom they had a BLAST! U
Food was okay the staff was working really hard to keep up pizza on the buffet at 1pm on a Sunday. The building it's self was outdated and not that appealing. 60% of the games were taped off with black masking tape because they didn't work and 10% would steal you coins. The games were also over priced considering the condition and age of games. The people we encountered other guest were really nice! The salad bar was good!!
this establishment is terrible. i came here for a school trip and the environment was yucky, uncomfortable and disgusting ??. This establishment needs to be shut down from how incredibly disgusting OUR, yes OUR experience was the entire student body present at this restaurant did not enjoy an ounce of the experience. 1) The cinnamon rolls weren't even cinnamon, they were just dry raw dough swished around icing.... WHERE WAS THE CINNAMON? 2) Pizza variety was very, very limited and the slices looked unappeal
Christmas party with grandkids there favorite place
Went for the food only around 2pm on a Monday. Salad bar was clean, fresh, & stocked. The pizza had obviously been sitting out a while & wasn't great. The fresh pizza was on point. Passed on the pasta because it looked old, swollen, & dry. The place wasn't super busy & there were still lots of dirty tables. An employee went from handling pizza dough, to using the cash register, then back to the pizza dough, all without using gloves or washing her hands. This was the most expensive Mr. Gattis buffet I've be
Family Favorite! I Love Being Able To Order My Own Specific Pizza When I Hit The Line ?? And The Salad Bar Is Just Perfect! Almost any topping you can think of! Not to mention to cool game room!
First off, my family and I went to this place to have a good time, instead what we had was a stomach aches and sickness. The pizza tasted like cardboard had fake tomato sauce rubbed into, with rubber as the pepperoni. The soda machine was also broken so we were forced to drink uncarbonated drinks, which wouldn't have been a problem if all the other drinks were nasty. Their "sweet tea" was nowhere near sweet or tea. It was basically water with a side of tea and a HINT of sweetness. I'll never recommend this
It's an okay place... Fun for the kids, but pizza is no bueno... although I did like the spinach pizza! :D
Good food. Great environment. Good service. Good game Room. ?????
Arrived at 11:40 to restaurant and walked in to an uncomfortable setting. There were a few workers standing with not happy faces. The hostess was not welcoming at all. Went ahead and took a chance and stayed. Turns out there were 0 pizzas on the line. Decided to get a salad to give them time. Pasta and sauce was barely warm resulting in pasta getting cold fast. Drive was over an hour for bad service.
Mainly go there for the food when we want to eat something without too much of a wait. Over the past few years we stopped going frequently because the place looks like it is not Getting properly maintained. Pizza selection sometimes is very minimal even when busy. Arcade has been terrible now. Most games don't work, give out tickets, or have to wait a long time on staff to fix a broken game just to get tokens back and game being turned off. Went today after a few months and saw 2 new games for our son to
Wish more of the games worked, about half were down when I went with my kids. There were about 20 customers when we arrived and they kept putting out 1 or 2 pizzas at a time on the buffet. They were gone in seconds so the buffet was empty other than the pasta and salad. This is unacceptable for a pizza buffet. Had to wait 30 minutes for my kids to get some cheese pizza after we arrived. I finally complained to the manager that's all they ate and he brought us out a cheese pizza, that helped overall, but I e
This place has no business calling itself Mr. Gatti's!! The are no were near the Mr. Gatti's that use to be in Victoria!!! This place is a joke!! Honestly I think the people that left the good reviews are the employees and management. This place needs to be shut down!! I don't know how the health department hasn't closed this place down!! The cashier lady was high as a kite, I stood there for a few minutes waiting on her to snap out of it to place my order so I could pay. No hi no greet nothing. As far as t
My kids love it because of the games. The pizza needs improvement. The salad bar is OK but when that's the only thing you eat in there it needs more. They have improved their game room but the games need to be kept up with tickets and functioning. A second person working back there would help during busy times.
Food was fresh and delicious! Great place for the family, something for everyone. Lots of seating. We were a group of 7 and staff helped us right away. Definitely will return. Plus, the arcade was something our kids ages, 12, 10 and 8 loved!!
My husband picked up a pizza and cheese bread after work for dinner last night! Wow it was amazing....forget dominos we will be getting pizza from here now on.
Really disappointing service. Heard the salad bar was really good. Went in 90m prior to closing time, with customers there still eating and was told no. Poor staffing.
? I have been to this establishment multiple times, as I swim in El Campo at least 3 times a week. The pizza is good, and the restaurant has a good selection and a wonderful salad bar as well. A couple?times?that I have been here, and we sat in the main room, by the front, the floors were filthy. There was dirt, scuff marks and trash on the floor. Personally, I don't want to eat in an establishment that has no one cleaning the floor very often. But, I recommend if you are looking for a family friendly, che
Good pizza! That much I can say positively. The bad... Where do we start... Cramped parking, cramped restrooms and cramped layout. If the parking was any closer you couldn't open a door. Restrooms were too small for the amount of people in the building. And the inside of the place in general is way too small even for its location. There was a total of 4 or 5 small rooms to eat in of which 2 had parties going on. Took over 10 minutes to finally get a table cleaned off to be able to sit and eat. Would I go
I can't even give this visit a single star! Took my family out after the football game, paid 40.00 bucks for a buffet that had hardly any pizza. I could understand and wouldn't have minded if the place was busy, but the place was so empty they only had one section of seating open while they were cleaning the others. It's not like we showed up at closing either, we got there at 9pm they close at 11pm. The WATER was nasty, it tasted like sewage, but the WATER helped us figure out why we couldn't stomach the s
The place isn't the cleanest. And most of the food was cold. The workers had an attitude and rolled her eyes when I asked if they could bring out some fresher pizza.
This location was the first time our family had been; it does not deserve one star. This facility needs to be shut down by the city. How it passes code inspection I am unsure. The restrooms were not maintained at all, toilets were clogged with stool. The floors were gross, food all over the floors, the game area had food and spelt sodas an trash all over the games. The token machines were taking customers money without given tokens back luckily employees were generous to give each person their money back. T
This establishment was far below any Mr Gattis I have been to. The ?soda? was just carbonated water, the ?pizza? tasted like cardboard, their dessert options were horrendous. I don't recommend this place for anyone in the El campo area.
Staff sucked & had an attitude when you ask for forks & spoons. Most of the games are broken & take your tokens & dont give tickets. Bad expeirence for the kids not being able to get their prizes because they dont have tickets. Needs maintenance big time!!!!
Was ok. We eat here at least 3-4x a month. We came in at 720pm so it was slow and they were out of thin crust, not many pizzas up and the ones there looked like they'd been there a while. They are always ready to make any pizza you want, so they made us fresh ones. Salad bar wasn't filled up.
We went to mr. gatti's September 15for my step son's birthday the Food was good except for the spaghetti noodles I didn't like that they were mixed as if they were cooked together and no one bothered to fix it I was upset because that is my favorite part of mr. gatti's.....but I still ate.it was clean and the employees were nice they just need to smile more. Now when it came to the games some of the games ate my coins and some didn't give tickets my kids were upset!! Neither of the ticket eaters worked so
All the food was really good especially the broccoli cheddar soup. The salad bar is lovely. The bad thing was the service. Nobody was really friendly. And we enjoyed the game room.
Extremely rude individual working there. Young lady by the name of Annahya, around 20 years old. The worst representation of the brand I have ever seen. She was so rude and dry that I eventually told her she should smile, she responded offended, telling me not to tell her that. As if she doesn't work customer service and as of a smile was a derogatory request, most people in that situation with smile and their mood would change? I have been a customer this establishment for over 15 years!! Her attitude was
Our visit today was nothing we'd expect. We were peacefully eating in seats we've chosen and all of a sudden we were interrupted by a worker who VERY rudely was telling us to move to a difference place with her saying ? can't y?all see the seats we're up!!? in which they were not. This worker happened to be the manager that rudely yelled at us. This ruined our experience during dinner as a family of 6. This has been a go to place for years, and since this incident happened, This soured our feelings about th
Price is good. However, the game machines were a rip off. Multiple machines were not working, eating up tokens without play or not dispensing tickets. Food was actually not bad butore selection would have been better. Cici's is definitely an upgrade to this place.
Great place to eat and visit in a clean and enjoyable place. Love this place. The salad bar is a very good one with all kinds of veggies and salad stuff. I love the salad bar.
Kind of like CiCi's pizza. All you can eat buffet. Pasta, pizzas and salad. Their arcade area appears to be larger than what CiCi' s had. I didn't get a chance to check it out, perhaps next time. Great service and friendly employees.
The only Mr.Gattis left! Great pizza buffet, that has pasta, cheesesticks, salad, cinnamon rolls. Has seperate dining rooms depending on if you want to watch sports, kids shows, or just nothing at all. Also has a nice arcade to play games.
Great memories with family everytime we come! Great pizza buffet. We especially like the extensive salad bar, the cherry dessert pizza, and the cinnamon rolls. I have never been to a Mr Gattis like the one in El Campo, TX and it is a tradition for all our family to get together and eat here at least once a year! We love it!
Many tables stacked with used plates and utensils. Lot of flies crawling on them. The place hasn't been cleaned in a while.
I've been going to Mr. Gattis for as long as I can remember including a kindergarten field trip back in '89 or '90. The pizza taste hasn't changed any. I don't care what others may say when they bash the buffet but when I'll order a sampler, always perfection.
My Experience With Mr.Gattis I Enjoyed Being There, Having Fun With Family And Friends,And Learn More As I Go And It's An Amazing Place To Eat At Bering Your Family And Friends To Enjoy There Day.
I work for a mental disable facility and I brought my clients there too eat. One of the clients accidentally put his hands in the cheese at the salad bar. I told a lady that works there and she said thank you we will get it. As I was leaving I heard another lady behind the counter say we don't have time for this. That was unprofessional and rude. And I was walking by the people behind the counter was cussing and was not showing any kind of respect. This sadden me.
Cleaner than expected and the service was great along with the pizza variety. However, the restrooms could use some upgrading but overall a good place for the family to eat, especially for a birthday party.
Food was lousy Staff not wearing gloves when preparing pizzas No plates out on the counter for seconds, must ask staff Staff unfriendly
Took my niece and nephew while in town. Salad bar was great a stocked but pizza looked cardboardish and was all set out under lamp too long. This was a Saturday about 5ish. Tons of people in the kitchen area I'd say 8 to 9 so there really wasn't a excuse to why there wasn't better pizza options. 3 of them just watched as we grabbed our food kinda eerily. I went ahead and stuck with salad bar bc I didn't know what they were giggling at. Worried it was dropped pizza or something.
You guys need a new cleaning crew. We saw the people in charge of cleaning, wiping tables and literally just throwing all the crumbs on the floor. No wonder floors are real sticky and there's flies all over the place; never have I seen so many flies inside a restaurant. Also idk who's in charge of cleaning the restroom but trash-can was filled all the way and there was bloody toilet paper at the very top. The place was just nasty.
I came with my school and the CHEESE WAS SWEET and it tasted old, the food was so nasty and the soda was carbonated water and it was absolutely nasty. There was nothing good about this place and I will very much not getting back 1/10
Had one in my hometown. My friend took me her daughter and her daughter's friend. Was just like I remembered it (the food). The arcade could've been better but all in all it was a good experience. The kids loved it.
This was a couple months ago, but I paid for the lunch buffet and got yelled at by employees for trying to get some of a freshly put out pizza. I know I won't be going back.
Pizza...not so great. Service is good though. Price is okay if the food was better. The salad bar is pretty good and well stocked. Better game room than other locations.
Well obviously the pizza is delicious, but not only the pizza, the salad bar is super fresh daily and I'm I love with their ranch dressing! I even did my pizza in it lol by far my favorite place to eat in El Campo, also the staff is amazing ready and willing to make any type of pizza at your request in under 10 minutes!
Aweful.. pizza is so hard, they only have 2 deserts no ice cream at all . Over staffed but no one cleans up. Games are not kid safety at all my son cut himself on the side of his eye n got stiches.
Called tonight from 9:10-9:18 and the phone was never answered, was even hung up on. Got to the location at 9:23 and was told we couldn't place a order due to them not taking orders after 9. Which I don't even understand why they are even open after 9 because we showed up once at 9 and couldn't even purchase a buffet either at that time, with tons of pizza on the counter still and putting fresh pizza out. Only one employee cleaning the rest just standing around. What a disappointment.
A little upset I was otw to elcampo from Columbus web site says they close at 11pm. Called when I was 1/2 way 9:45pm they said they were closed. I can't afford Gattis very often nor the 80 mile round trip. I love Mr Gattis pizza been my favorite pizza place for over 30 years. I'm not real happy with this situation. Thanks!
This is prob the worst location I been to. I'd go to Pizza Hut buffet M-F 1130-130.
Food is always goof and fresh they listen to requests you have. My kiddos love eating here !
Food was fresh and good, but the whole place was filthy. Drink spouts sticky, floor hadn't been swept, just felt completely unsanitary.
I've been going there ever since I was little it's still one my favorite places to hang out with friends and eat so far
Been going here since we were kids and now we're taking our own families. We had our parties here too. Jake has always done the best and if you notice anything wrong, he'll fix it up for you.
Great pizza lots of selection. Great salad bar, lots of toppings to choose from. Friendly staff. Small game room tho. And a lot of the games either break or don't dispense tickets.
The kids had a good time.
This is a good place to go if you're looking to kill some time. I personally didn't like the food, but I did have a blast with the arcade area. They have old school arcade games along with some newer ones.
LOVE IT good pizza GREAT salad bar Fun games only thing is some of the games take your coins but if it does then they will add points to you tickets
Great Buffet! Game room on small side and some games do not work. Games are mainly for big kids. Overall I'll still go back!
Many of the games did not work, so lost money. They never sent anyone back to look nor fix. The food was good but a mess during lunch rush....
Good food. My friend had a birthday party there and we had a nice time. The only problem was that they were so busy that we had to wait for replacement plates at the buffet.
Don't make orders here & if you do then tell them to have it ready 30 mins earlier than what you want lmao. Came in about 10-15 mins sooner eqs told it'd be ready. Waited 45 minutes until mh order was finally ready
Mr.Gattis in El Campo is very good they're following all safety guidelines and very clean. Employees there could use a little more clothing though lol other than that Yummie
First time here at Mr. Gattis in El Campo TX. We took our grandson's to celebrate an occasion. The staff was so very friendly am the food was excellent
Been going here for years! Wanted to use a coupon and pay extra for toppings on one and plain on another plus other stuff. Wouldn't do it. Seriously?? To risk losing customers for something so little?? Man!!! Ridiculous+!!
Love this place best pizza salad combo all time and I've ate a lot of pizza and different places had fun here as a child having fun now with my child in the same place great place
Always a great place to eat with family. Very good service ?? update I still feel the same way happy and full ?? keep up the amazing work ??
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
