Reviews Summary

Most reviews praise the fun activities (go-karts, mini golf, arcade) and reasonable prices, with many highlighting friendly staff. However, maintenance issues are a common complaint—dirty facilities, broken equipment, and poor upkeep of courses. Some mention long wait times, overpriced food, or unreliable service. While many families enjoy their visits, negative experiences often cite safety concerns, unresponsive management, or disappointing cleanliness. Overall, it’s seen as a decent budget-friendly spot but inconsistent in quality.

The wife and I took our 6 year old for the first time. The Go Karts were great and a lot of fun. The video games are well priced, and concessions are a good value as well. We didn't play mini golf but the courses look amazing!

We had an absolutely wonderful time! Safe, family friendly, and fun! The go-kart crews were complete professionals and extremely safety oriented (they kicked a group of high school boys out for rough-housing, and unsafe driving)! O recommend getting your tickets online, and if you are looking to spend more than a couple hours there; get the "All-day pass". It's the most economical choice!

It's spring break, and I was excited to take my kids somewhere fun. After doing some research, I decided to check out Mountasia in Marietta. I called ahead to ask about tickets and any important information so I could prepare properly. When I arrived, I was told I'd have to wait an hour because the go-karts were being gassed. No problem, I used the time to take a quick trip to the mall nearby. However, when I returned, ready for some fun with my kids, I was told I couldn't get on the go-karts because I was

Went here yesterday evening for the first time. They have plenty of parking and prices are fairly reasonable. We did the go-karts and the mini golf. Love the fact, the mini golf course was long. The go-karts was fun as well. I liked, they had go- karts for single drivers and for passenger as well.

Nice place, and great customer service. Brought a group here and it immediately started downpouring after everyone got in; they gave us some arcade cards instead so that we could still have a good time.

My little bro and I love this location, the staff is always friendly and make sure we have a great time. Mind you my little brother is 7 years old and he lives it all around from the arcade to the go-karts. They make sure we have Greta memories. Definitely recommend 100% for kids 6-14 yrs.

The Best Arcade games, fast track go-cart racing for parents and kids paired up for an Amazing experience, the coolest golf course I've played yet. The kids ages 6-17 keep asking to go back... they have a blast!

Lots of fun and the prices are reasonable.

Chris and Alex at the Go cart area was awesome. They kept the lines moving quick and it made a great birthday celebration. Levy at the front desk was friendly as well, everyone there made us feel right at home! Great time!

I had a great experience! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I paid $50 for 2 people 3 hours, unlimited mini golfing and go karting. Keep in mind that you have to pay a separate fee for the arcades etc?

Had a great customer service experience and wanted to share my thoughts. Had my girlfriend and 2 daughters with me. We had 3 old racecar tickets we wanted to use from about 4 years ago. They were a bit out-dated and the Mountasia Team knew it. We first come in contact with Lucas who was super nice and understanding, but didn't quite know what to do so he grabbed the Manager Billy and other employee Sydney. They colabrately put their heads together and decided to honor the 3 tickets for us which after about

This place that truly blends old culture with new culture, has staff who treat people kindly, and is genuinely a place where you can have a great time.

The absolute greatest time... we got here for our 12 year olds birthday party and let me tell you... Olivia was on point, probably the best customer service we have had in a while. She was super attentive and informative about everything. We will definitely be returning to other parties and just family fun times. Thank you, Olivia, for making the birthday party perfect.

It was just OK, a lot of the games didnt work, i do like that it gave tickets for the games played, it's a small place, food was super overpriced, go carts were small and they rode really rough. I gave it 3 * because we still had fun as a getaway for the day

Go carts!!!!! For a reasonable price. My kids loved the arcade. Which is also reasonably priced. Staff is helpful.

We just had a birthday party there for our son and Olivia and the team did a great job with accommodations and making sure we were good the entire time. The pizza was also surprisingly good!!

I brought my grandon here for a "fun day" before school started. The mini golf is nicely landscaped with water features and greenery. Most of the holes are par 2 or 3. So nothing difficult. There are some arcade games inside as well as a few food options. We really went there to ride the go karts. My grandson ended up being a couple inches too short to be able to drive a kart by himself. This was disappointing. If you go, be sure kids are the required 58 inches tall to drive, and I think it was 42 inches t

A fun little getaway for the family. Mini golf with three courses and go carts. We bought a package deal that gave us four hours of fun.

Don't book a party here! Good people?! This was 3 years ago! I gave yall a excellent review!! Not the case today! Ruined it for my 12 yr old grand daughter's and her friends celebrating her birthday! This was a total waste of money and time that we can not get back! They waited in line to ride the go carts for 30 minutes to be told they have to get off because they skipped the line! Other parents along with myself watched the whole thing! The manager basically told us we were lying. Later we were told that

Almost everything about Mountasia is dumpy. They clearly cut corners and skimp on basic maintenance. The mini-golf course is not only lame but also extremely dirty with golf balls and even clubs floating in stagnant water. They open the go karts at 3pm but then close them from 4pm to 5pm to ?fueling? (? though it really just seems to be a break for the employees). The place is actually well-staffed with employees who are quite nice (except for the vaping). They are aware of the problems but just don't

No water running. Or stagnant. Plants are dry in part but overall clean and well manicured. Service was efficient and professional. They have fun single and double go carts and put-put but no longer offer water bumper boats. There's also a huge game arcade inside with some fast food items. They observe covid rules and is an overall good place for some outdoor fun. Just remember to wear sneakers or closed toe shoes. No flip flips.

Courses are fun. Some holes are unrealistic to make. We skipped hole 5 all together. No way to make it, ball kept rolling all the way back. Inside place smelt like grease ??. Beautiful water features.

Disclaimer: we drove over from Roswell to visit and there are some really good putt-putt places there to compare with so our perspective may be skewed. We played putt-putt. It was $9/person which felt a little expensive at first. The carpet was in decent enough shape and the courses were pretty fun. Also, the defunct bumper boat pool was kind of fun to look at! The standing water was an issue because part of the course smelled a lot like sewage. I was eaten alive by mosquitoes the whole time. A lot of t

Was visiting from out of town and wanted something to do with the kids, found a Groupon for awesome price and went. When we got there it was time to gas go karts (4-5p) so we played putt putt. The course was fun and easy for the kids by the time we finished it was time for go karts. We had unlimited rides and the track was great for the kids. Overall it was a great day. Concessions are a little pricey but they gotta make money somewhere. Odd recommend taking the kids are of your a kid at heart.

What a fun place! There's Food, Arcade Games, Go Kart racing, and Mini Golf at a great price. There use to be Bumper Boats but unfortunately it's no longer in service. Therefore, if you are looking for a fun spot that is very affordable to take the Whole Family for a Fun Day out, Mountasia is a good spot to try.

Ok place for the kiddos, but, I couldn't get over how beat down this place is... The owner appears to have spent zero on upkeep and maintenance since 1992. While the pictures don't show it's full glory, the landscaping, wood decking and stream are all a mess and quite unsightly - I didn't want to even touch the water when picking up my ball due to how nasty it looks and the weird white foam... The arcade is okay, but the games are older and the ticket redemption value is beyond bad... Chuck e Cheese and Bo

It was awesome. Got the four hour pass. Played putt putt and raced cars. I think mine was rigged as I could not go as fast as I wanted. Fun as heck.

Beautiful night! Played putt putt in the light rain! And the double rainbows that appeared sealed the deal. Creating the perfect first date. Very polite curtious staff. I can't wait to return to reminiss!

We took our kids out for a day of fun. The kids had a great time

Went during day. Got the unlimited package. We all had our fill of the go-carts and golf. Not many people when we went. Had a great time!

One of the go cart employees (I was told his nam was Max but I could be wrong) was staring us down in line and made one of us leave because of our shoes even thought it was cleared at the front desk. Then we went to walmart and got some close toed shoes and came back and he still was trying to say we couldn't go on the carts. Even after he let us go on he continued to snatch our tickets out our hands as we were getting to actual part where the go carts were.

Excellent place to enjoy the Karting you can pay the unlimited and ride as many times as you can if there are not so many people. Everyone can enjoy the kartings.Karting. there are also arcades games.

This place is a mixed bag. It's a fairly inexpensive spot to take the kid(s) to have a good time. They have a arcade, mini golf (3 courses) and gokarts. On the positive side, its reasonably priced and seems to always have a groupon to make it even cheaper with unlimited daily use for the entire family. The staff, almost all teens are friendly and provide prompt service. The arcade is kid friendly and gives out plenty of tickets for very few tokens. On the other hand, the entire facility is poorly maintain

This an amazing down to earth nice fun for kids. I love this place and my children as well. Old school

I went to my friend's birthday party here and it was really fun. There's tons of arcades to use, a really entertaining go-kart track, and even an interestingly fun mini-golf course. 9/10 would recommend for simple birthday parties and other fun get-togethers.

We like it! Not too crowded and had lots of fun

My nieces were visiting from out of town and so we thought Mountasia would be great since they had go karts, mini golf and an arcade. We had a blast! And honestly their staff is amazing. They had an employee - Connor who helped us immediately when something didn't work properly. The girls working the prize area were so patient and sweet with the kids .. Honestly, with so many places we could go these days- I'd come back here in a heartbeat just for the service. These employees who mind you are teens are

Fun mini-golf course and friendly staff. Only downfall is they have a place for a stream to run through the whole place and it looks like it hasn't worked in a while which causes small ponds of water for mosquitoes to live. We did get quite a few bites there. Overall though our group of 11 had a great time.

My son loves go carts, and so do I. They have the old gas go carts.

Inside Cafe great. Putt-Putt was great. Garden and walkway was great. The goat kart was alright, could use some more safety staff members through & through.

My daughter lives it so that's good enough for me.

I've been coming here since I could remember and they've always been through go to place for our family and now me and my friends 20 years later. 10/10 weekend spot!

Alot of family fun, go carts and puttputt golf course. Enjoyed myself with family

Recently had a birthday party here. The mid-teens boys had fun with the go-karts. Track is starting to show its age, but fun nonetheless. Golf courses are sneaky challenging.

Great place to play some putt-putt. $8 a round / per person. Total of two courses to pick from.

The worst place ever to came with your family, especially if you have small kids I was considering add as one of our favorite places to visit, but unfortunately not. The go carts are completely unsafe and the staff are unfriendly.

Use our get out pass and really want worth it only one gocart track was openen and the wait time was crazy

Just finished playing the elephant course. 20 bucks we can never get back. Cups with no bottoms, ball headed straight and suddenly turns left or right and sometimes jumps straight up into the air. 16 of 18 holes required walking upstairs. Landscape basically nonexistent and water not running. Stagnant. No music or noise of any kind except the cars passing by on the interstate. One cup infested with fire ants. 2 others with balls stuck in them. Never again.

Are you going out of business, Mountasia? You don't answer phone calls, your voicemail sits there full, and we drove there to speak to someone and it was closed. Do you not have customer support or do you just want to avoid people?

It's like a blast from the past for me. My friends and I had a great time here. I hadn't been in 20+ years, but it is still an absolute blast. I can see why it still thrives, great place for kids and birthday parties. Go race the go?karts ^.^

mini golf courses are certainly a little dated and a little plain, but there's a great selection of arcade games! couple of my favorites, for sure. but the real shine is the staff! they were all so friendly and helpful and do a great job! as a group of adults attending, the real draw was the nostalgia, and it's got that!

Omg this place is so FUN!!!!!!! We went here and rode the go carts and other activities. Will definitely be back when the warmer weather comes back.

We had fun playing. There was a group of preteen boys that were running around everywhere through everyone's game play - added to the degree of difficulty. More of a parenting issue than that of the facility - and we kind of enjoyed the additional challenge in a way. Nice place

Overpriced food. Short staffed. Couldn't give my nephew a warning, he's a teenager, about bumping his cart into his cousin. Banned him after we paid for 2 hour unlimited. No refund. Dirty. Pictures do not show how run down this place is.

Really enjoyed the go karts, food, mini golf and arcade games. Everything was extremely reasonably priced. Will definitely return as my son loved it here.

Fun place to bring the kids. They have go karts, mini golf, and arcade to keep the kids busy. Reasonable priced. We got the family pack. It came with multiple rounds of go carts! They do close the go karts from 4-5pm for refueling. Good selection of games to play on the arcade. We didn't get any food but they have plenty options on their menu. We didnt use all of our go kart passes but we can use them when we come back which is great!! I recommend. **We came back and was able to use our remaining go kart

Used to be a nice clean place. Dirty bathrooms, dirty golfing area. Poison ivy at MANY of the holes. The water is a ses pool over by the bridge, just gross. If they would spend a couple days cleaning up, killing the ivy and trimming backcthe trees, it could be nice again

The staff is friendly and helpful. Place is very clean. Fun place to play arcade games, play mini golf or do go karts. They have different levels of mini golf and it is really pretty with all the waterfalls around. They also have a concession stand as well. Very reasonably priced. Fun outing when the weather is nice!

Great place for go carts and golf but games are a little outdated. Kids loved it. Great place!

I got the blue cup because they said it had free refills, I asked several times if it was free and they insisted. Once I actually went for the refills, the same person said it was $1, it did feel like they were trying to scam me. The gokarting itself was fun, but I'd watch out for their refill scam. They did eventually give me one free refill after I insisted.

Awesome time super fun Lucas, Jalen, and Aiden are the best

Got there on a Friday at 12pm with our grandson and bought 2 hour mini golf ticket s for three ($64). No mention that one of the 3 courses was closed due to goose eggs. We went out the door to play where we found the sign about 1 course being closed. Started playing and found that the course was littered terribly with debris from a storm that came through the day before. Leaves, tree branches, twigs z and the little pods off of the pine trees. We played the entire first game through and went inside and

Great for the price. The go-karts need maintenance not all of them are equal. But had a great time and the putt putt needs a few more trash cans and a few repairs but still had a good time.

It was just okay. We were disappointed because we couldn't get on the go carts. You have to wear closed toe shoes. The arcade is not the best. The mini golf is fine. But it's expensive to do 2 activities and not buy the hourly pass.

Fun but a bit pricey and super run down. Has been open since at least the 90?s and hasn't had much work done to upkeep it. Used to have bumper boats but those are long gone and the water looks horrific. Good place to go for a fun day of mini golf, go karts and arcade games. As another review stated a renovation would be good.

I love this place! I come here all the time, the go karts, mini golf, and arcade is sooo much fun! So many great food options too! Feels like a great part of the community.

Great fun place with reasonable prices. Have been coming here for over 10 years with family and friends and it has always been a hit. Gocarts, arcades and mini golf are all very fun. Sometimes several game machines will be done. Usually great staff and always very fun.

5 stars to whomever manages and shut down the one course for federally protected wildlife (I assume nesting bird ??\?_?(???)?_?/?? ) I mean this with zero sarcasm about it. Love seeing conservation advocated. 5 stars for the young guy working there that made my 2 year olds day with a squishy ball toy for her very few tickets, made our day as a fam. 3 stars for the golf course being in such dire need of basic maintenance, but also really needing to just renovate and update. I know that isn't a cheap prosp

Just left here and the experience was INCREDIBLE!! Great deal for the price. Got to ride go carts, play arcade and could have mini golfed but ran out of time. The staff was great as well, helping us out and making the experience run smoothly. This was already our second time here and will definitely be going back. Anyone with kids that wants to have a blast for a few hours without breaking the bank head to Mountasia of Marietta!!!

My daughter and I had so much fun playing mini golf and the games at the arcade. What made this outing even better was the attention that Brooke and Olivia showed my daughter and I. We received top notch customer care from them from the moment we walked in. Service with a smile and accommodating my daughter like family. I really appreciated their energy and hospitality. Thank you ladies!

God, how I wish someone would invest some money in this place!!! It's actually still pretty awesome, and I remember when it opened. Used to be the place to hang out in middle school! Lol! Anyway, if they would just update the lighting on the mini golf courses so you can actually see at night and get all the go carts fixed so they have more than 4 running at a time, this place would be gold. Oh, and maybe show a little love to the concession stand also... just saying.

Nice fun place to go with the family. Its pretty expensive, 60 dollars for the family pack, but definitely worth it. The mini golf courses are fun and great for pictures and videos, while overall having a delightful time. The go carts are very fun to, the lines are sometimes a bit long, but it's worth the wait. A definite place to go if your looking for an exciting time on a birthday weekend.

A fun place for the kids, but could definitely use an update. The water features were really dirty and paint was chipping off all the walls.

I love the concept, can use more maintenance, the prices are really decent! The staff in the go kart area is great, need more people in the counter. There's a weird smell, prolly due to the artificial lake. We had a great family day without expending that much!!

My niece and nephew had a blast! The staff was awesome! The two young gentleman up front made sure we had the ultimate experience! The package I purchased was very reasonable and alot for the money. I will definitely take my family back again!

Fun place with multiple putt putt courses and arcade games.

Fun place for teens. Took 1 star off because they don't take cash. Personally, I think that should be against the law. But also, when a group of kids gets dropped off with cash, it makes for a nightmare for the parents who coordinated the event to manage.

Arcade could use an update unless you're entertaining kids 8 and under. The golf course has this waterway that goes all around, and it wasn't so pleasant with all the stagnant water sitting around. There were tiny frogs everywhere. Alas, for the purpose of a family activity, it was entertaining. Most of the holes are only Par 2, so it seems easy but was fun to laugh because it's not as simple as it seems. Watch out for the teens/college students goofing off. There wasn't much supervision. My son was almost

Nice and Fun They do need more inside help, but it wasn't too bad.

Clean but small arcade.. if you wanna ride go carts DO NOT WEAR SANDALS OR CROCS because they won't let you... Which is weird considering I've rode go carts many many times out of town in sandals in Destin and Tennessee but it's okay.

Great fun for family and friends of all ages! Outstanding customer service! Shout out to Diego for taking time to answer questions over the phone and Olivia for her patience and superb customer service with my 15 year old and her friends. Shout out to Conner for being patient with my large group of "New" drivers!

Great place if you like to play Putt-putt. And go carts as well. Great time. A lot of hills.

Not much has changed since the summer of 96! Brought back fun memories with friends and still clean and staff was very friendly. Came here with friends and we all had a great experience.

We had a blast here. The Go-Karts were the most fun. Devin was great. You get 10 rounds per go. Although #29 was slow and I lost the race. The mini golf we did not do. The arcade was pretty good. The selection was good and you get a decent amount of tickets per win.

Fun place with multiple putt putt courses and arcade games.

SPECIAL NEEDS ACCOMMODATING! I work as a caretaker for individuals who have special needs! That can range from Autism, to cerebral palsy to many other diagnosis. Mount Asia and the staff that work there have always been very accommodating and have gone above and beyond what is expected. They could very easily turn me and my clients away due to safety concerns but instead they always allow us extra time and are always very patient. Recently on my last visit they allowed me to carry my friend who is in a whee

We celebrated a birthday party for one of our kids and they loved it. All the guest (28 kids) were able to fit and enjoy themselves. I thoroughly appreciated the customer service and hospitality that was displayed. Much thanks to Marilyn and Bryce (finding a lost phone) for all their help. There wasn't another party after ours so we were able to stay in the party room a little longer (normally only 1 hr in party room, so get it done!) . This was a huge blessing because my elderly mother would've had to ei

12/1/21 Around 4pm We had fun! No the Go Kart wasn't working at the time but my family and I were able to just enjoy ourselves with little to no one there. If go karts are your number one thing to do just call ahead of time. We didn't care for we were just enjoying family time out. Yes, updates are definitely needed and the outdoor living needs some TLC but the staff was friendly and the guy, who's name I don't remember, was very helpful, such a great guy! We had a snack and slushes which were good as well.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.

Are rhythm games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, rhythm games in arcades are a vibrant hit in 2025! Titles like Dance Dance Revolution and Beatmania deliver high-energy fun, blending music, movement, and precision. Modern machines boast vivid displays, booming sound systems, and diverse song libraries, from J-pop to EDM. They challenge reflexes and rhythm, with competitive leaderboards and tournaments fostering a lively community. Arcade dance floors are regularly packed, proving rhythm games’ immersive, physical thrill keeps them a standout in today’s gaming scene.

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
