Monster Mini Golf Columbia

This was my first time visiting this monster. Golf place, and I can say that I actually enjoyed myself. It is located in Columbia,/, Jessup, Maryland. It's basically located in the back of a shopping mall center-right next to the enterprise rent a car place. There's a decent amount of parking even if it is shared parking with the other shops near it. When you first enter the building, you are greeted by darkness and black-light lighting. Once inside completely, you will see that there is a little arcade.

Monster Mini Golf is a great activity for all! It's completely dark inside with black lights, such a cool vibe. The staff are all friendly and accommodating. We have been here before, but this was our first time with a birthday party and it was a great experience! This is a wonderful location for indoor entertainment. The props and special effects are quite appealing. Furthermore, the staff is friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the restrooms are exceptionally clean.

We've been here 3 times in the last several months and we always have a fantastic time. Every single staff member is always SO nice and friendly. We had issues with an arcade game today and they immediately came over and fixed it and even added $5 to our card without us asking. It's a fun little place overall but the amazing people that work there is what sets them above the rest.

I went here about a year ago and had a very positive experience with my group of kiddos. The course was fun and well-maintained. The establishment was clean. But the best part was definitely the wonderfully helpful workers. I recall a taller young man with pierced ears and young woman with a septum piercing. The two of them were so accommodating and they were great with my group. They really made the afternoon outing so pleasant. I would definitely recommend this location.

Fun place to play mini golf inside. Don't have to worry about the rain or being too hot. Course is nothing special. The black light effect enhances the monster theme. With music and lots of kids, the place can be loud.

Hidden gem in the Columbia/Jessup area! For $29 (a bit pricey but everything is nowadays), we bought two mini golf tickets and it took about 45 minutes. I love this place! Between the friendly staff and the cleanliness of courses, I'd totally recommend going here with friends and family! It's perfect for everyone, even little ones! Right, so we were supposed to do a birthday at 6 Flags, but they had a power outage! Rather than wait in line for a few more hours, we shifted plans, and headed here, and the team there was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Monster Mini Golf is a family friendly fun indoor mini golf and arcade place. While I was there I saw a birthday party and they seem to be having a great time. The staff was friendly and helpful the prices were not awful. I only gave it four stars because the arcade games were a little lame. Otherwise we had a great time.

Great and affordable activity to do with the family. They play music and some of decorations/monsters make noises which adds some flair to the game. Took about an hour to do with 5 ppl. I'm happy it's indoors to get you out of the heat and the glow in the dark theme also made it stand out. Definitely would recommend as a date idea or family outing.

Writing this as we leave because we had such an amazing time. The staff here was beyond friendly and accommodating, I would like to highlight Natalie. Our 5 year old son is on the spectrum, she was so patient and encouraging him, I couldn't stop thanking her. The whole place was clean and prices were consistent with other places. The artwork at this location is amazing! The staff was friendly and the place was very clean. We really enjoyed ourselves right before lunchtime, our party of 7 was able to take our time through the course.

Fun experience on my birthday with my family. Was able to go at our own pace without feeling rushed. No wait to get started. Parties were staggered and kept the volume down and things flowing. Decor was unique and fun. Holes were challenging and fun. Somewhat expensive compared to other places in the area but we wanted to be close to other things we were up to that day. Would return for special events only.

This place is dumpy, came for the mini golf but did not play because their course was so pathetic. Loud music. This is more of an arcade place, and the people were mostly children. The decorations are even more hedious then they appear online. Not worth going to! Go to a real mini golf course.

There is a reason you see a lot of 5 star reviews. It was well run with plenty of friendly motivated staff. Everything worked. Good temperature inside. The games were fun. My kid loves it. I will be back.

If you can't book a party online, do not bother calling the place and asking for their availability. They will tell you they have availability, go over exactly what times they are available, all of the party packages, but say they need to double check. Despite saying they will call you back, they will not, and then will act like they have never heard of you. Don't waste your time, they cost just as much as Urban Air and offer much less.

It's a little small inside, so definitely go early, we went right at noon opening. It was awesome for my youngest son, "really spooky monsters in here daddy!!", very cool decorations and several play to win prize machines made it a huge hit!

Mini golf was pretty good. The arcade games (at least the 1 we tried) say to hold the card for 2 seconds. It took all the credits. The employee said if you hold it it will keep applying games. The lazer maze didn't work right. 2 player game broken. Not all of the sensors registered a touch needed to move on. Just do mini golf if you go its good.

Unique option for indoor fun. Staff were kind and generous. They gave my family of four free passes for next time when a field trip came in at the same time we started our game.

We went on a weekday before 4pm.....we were the only ones there!!! We had a fantastic time. The music was versatile and pleasurable. They have Covid rules in place but they could have had more sanitizer available for use.

Post COVID-19 the social distancing sucks!! The miniature golf definitely needs to managed differently like 15 or many even 30 minutes intervals. We felt rushed throughout the 18 holes.

We had my granddaughter 's birthday party at Monster Gulf Columbia MD today. It was the best party we have had, out of all the the other venues we've been to. Lots of stuff for the kids to do. The party room is already decorated, they supplied plates, cups, napkins, everything we needed.The host that we had, name was Reese, he was so good with the kids. Felt taken advantage of when we were there. We were told a 10 minute wait for starting golf so they upsell you a $10 arcade card for $10. But the games charge random prices like $1.10 etc. One can never use the full funds on the card. Instead of going for $20 for a fun game of golf we walked out dissatisfied for $40.

This place is awesome! The atmosphere indoors and the black light make for a great experience. Great course, too. Just challenging enough that it is interesting but easy enough for all skill levels. Went here on a date, and honestly it was a bit underwhelming. Mini golfing had little obstacles other than siding and it barely tide in the theme. I do not plan on coming back here again however I would probably recommend it to someone with smaller kids.

Kids will love this place. Mine did. The mini golf section was short and sweet and it was a nice amount of arcade games. The glow in the dark and monster stuff is a nice touch too. A really fun place to spend an evening. The monster themed mini golf is their selling point and it really helps. I would?ve found mini golf boring, but the fluorescent lights and monster theme really helped. Almost felt like i was a 10 year old kid again. We recently had our daughter's birthday here. The kids had a great time. It's a very fun and unique place, and the owner and staff are beyond kind and helpful.

I can not say enough good things about the general manager, Natalie. I was a part of a large booking coming in this weekend and Natalie went WAY above and beyond to accommodate and work with us. She is genuine and kind, and did everything she could to ensure the group I came in with was safe and had fun. She constantly communicated with us as a group giving updates on wait times and what to do, and was just incredibly helpful throughout the entire time we were there. Thank you, Natalie!

I'm torn on this review. My group (6 people) went to play mini golf with me for my birthday (10/18). It was the first time is ever played (36 yrs old).It started off wonderfully, but it ended with an attendant with an attitude. It definitely left a pall over the whole thing. Me and my wife had a fun time last week. Amazing experience. When I came In John introduced us to Monster Mini Golf and helped us out on party details. He gave us a tour of the room and had a lot of knowledge on the prices of the party packages and what it's in them. He also explained how pricing works on mini golf which was amazing. He even asked me if I was a veteran or military so he would give us a discount. Best experience ever and will be back to play more. I would recommend this place for all ages!

My son had his birthday party there on December 12, 2020. Both hosts were awesome and our whole experience was one of the best compared to other birthday venues. And we have been through about 9 venues in the past 10 years. We were not rushed at all and they made sure that everything went well and that I was not stressed out.

Its a unique take on MiniGolf. I like it and other horror lovers will probably like it as well. It is a bit expensive but I did it on a rainy day for something to do with my daughter. It served its purpose. The combo deal made me more okay with the price.

Super disorganized on a busy Saturday night. The golf course had a wait and the manager kept telling everyone different times. A birthday party was ?coming right out?. We were told 20 minutes. Birthday party still hadn't come out after 30 minutes and there must have been at least 30 people waiting to play golf. We went up and asked how much longer and the manager asked if we wanted a refund. Didn't give a time or explanation.

Stumbled upon this awesome place while taking some items to Goodwill and came back with some out-of-town visitors. We all loved it so much and had a lot of fun! Loved the glow-in-the-dark theme and the difficulty of each hole. Also really enjoyed the arcade games. Want to come back to try out the VR!

We drove an hour to get there but it was worth every minute. From the time we walked in the kids loved it. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Thankfully it wasn't overly crowded as we suspected it may be on a rainy Friday night, everyone including other patrons were very courteous of others. Its is a great indoor golf place with a nice arcade as well. I had a birthday party here, that was very over priced, I won't do a party there again. But its good for a round of golf. The art work inside is fun, if your into black lights and psychedelic art.

We love this little place. Everytime we go we have a great time. Takes about an hour to go through the 18 holes. They play some good 80's hors. The decor is fun with all the monsters, zombies and neon. We have come here with a 2 year old, 17 year old, 20 somethings, 40 somethings and 72 year old and we all loved it. Before going to monster mini about 10 years ago I had only been to outdoor mini golf courses... So an indoor air conditioned mini golf place with a monsters Halloween vibe all in black lights neon glow splendor? What could be better! They play great music, a lot of Prince and Michael Jackson. An ok experience, not worth the driving from north of Baltimore. The only interaction with the staff was when paying and then when turning in the clubs, staff was pleasant, no complaints. An important note, they determine if a child is eligible for the children's rate based on height. Over 5 feet, you pay the adult price. My kid (aged 6) had a blast here. The creepy elements of the decor are just non-threatening enough that he could tolerate them. Was here for a team building event and had a blast! Monster mini golf offered a great package for our group of almost 40 people and the food was prepared by Maggiano's.
