We recently visited Monster Mini Golf for a birthday celebration, and it was a great experience! The place is perfect for kids between the ages of 7-12, with plenty of fun activities to keep them engaged. Apart from the usual arcade games, they also have laser tag and mini golf, which added to the excitement. The associate assigned to our group did a fantastic job keeping the kids involved, especially during laser tag and mini golf. The pricing was reasonable compared to other similar places in the area, ma

Great spot with a bunch of things for the kids. Took my kids for a birthday party and the staff was great. The kids loved the mini golf and how everything glowed in the dark. They have laser tag and really good arcade games that were a great time as well. We will definitely come back.

This is the third year we've used Monster Mini Golf of Chantilly for our summer camp field trip, and unfortunately, it's the second time we've experienced serious miscommunication. We booked our field trip months in advance (in March) and received a confirmation that clearly stated pizza and drinks would be provided. However, on the day of the trip (June 18) with 19 elementary-aged students already mid-way through their activities, our teachers were informed that pizza and drinks were no longer part of the

We took our twins for their 14th birthday and it was awesome. What an amazing establishment with a hint of scary. They have mini golf, bowling, arcade and laser tag. You can do packages or individually at a reasonable price. Shoutout to Billie and the entire staff for amazing service. Perfect place for family fun. We will be back.

Great place to host kids birthday event. Impressed with their openess to bring your own food for the party. The place has done a wonderful job with the monster themed aesthetics and cleanliness is top notch.

Food is limited, prices would be as you expect it to be. You get what you pay for, some games kept breaking; but bathrooms are squeaky clean. Workers were so helpful with refunds. This place is neat if you have more than two kids be ready to spend over 66$ with the ultimate combo laser tag was a bit confusing but still a bit enjoyable. They also play iconic songs which I enjoyed because it was very diverse in music tastes; which I liked.

Awesome place for families or coworkers to have some fun together. The layout of the mini golf was fine but sometimes it could get very crowded. There are arcade games as well which I guess kids love most. My girl had great fun over there and brought home some little toys she earned.

The ambiance was really good. Very clean! they also organize birthday parties and have rooms for private get-together as a segregation from the game area. This is a place where both adults and kids can enjoy due to their games and mini golf. It's a fun place!

The wife & I came in and just did the mini golf. This place is a Horror kid?s ?nightmare? come true. The decorations and the black lights with the highlighted artistry is amazing. Definitely a great place to throw that scary birthday party for the kids or if you just wanna come by and play some mini golf, laser tag, and arcade games alike. First time visiting this place. The staff were very friendly as well, and were quick to help us out when they saw us walk in. I was here for a short visit just to do the

Fantastic place, always clean, and very reliable when wanting to do something fun as a group. Laser tag, mini golf and an arcade really sets a high standard for the quality of entertainment, here.

Nice and fun place for kids! Love the idea of the neon laser tag and mini golf! The arcade games are amazing as well

We held my son's 9th birthday party at Monster Mini Golf in Chantilly. It was amazing. They took excellent care of us. The party has a dedicated host who makes sure everything moves ahead as scheduled. We had Callie (sp?) She took amazing care of us. The price was very reasonable.

Lots for kids/family to do. However, with what they charge, they should actually use the air conditioning. Hot and humid day outside, but inside, it was humid and barely temperature controlled. It was actually more comfortable outside in the shade with the breeze.

I didn't know what to except; however I was pleasantly surprised during my first visit to this location. I had a mixed group which included a six year old and teenagers. They all had an awesome time and played all the activities together, from mini golf to laser tag to the laser maze (they also have arcade games, area for birthday parties, etc.)?fun, fun, & more fun. The staff was super helpful explaining how everything worked and they also gave the younger kids extra attention and encouragement when preppi

My daughter recently had her birthday party and this place was perfect for a large group of second graders. Our party host Noah was a rockstar and did great with all the chaos of birthday excitement. He kept us on schedule and ensured that everyone was enjoying themselves. The party room was very spacious, clean, and you don't have to do much decorating as it's already dressed up nicely in a spooky theme. Bonus points because you're allowed to bring in your own food and drinks and have access to a fridge i

The minigolf area is small and doesn't have much variety. It's almost 18 of the same holes with just a mix of obstacles. This first picture below covers 14 of the 18 holes. The music was also really loud, making it really hard to talk.

Just had my son's birthday party there. All I can say is WOW what a fantastic experience. Our host was amazing (all the other parents concurred) and the venue was non-stop fun for all. Will be going back for sure!!

It's super fun for grown-ups and kids Would definitely go back again Don't expect much in terms of services. We waited in line forever to redeem points after we finished. Even though there were crew there, they simply kept ignoring us until I said, "Can someone help us please we have been waiting forever?!" Only then a girl came. 4 people got tired and were unhappy and left before redeeming their points. I hope they can train their staff to at least acknowledge people standing in line and not completely

Staff weren't the best at managing crazy kids at a birthday, letting them run wild over the golf course interrupting other players multiple times. There was an apology, but no real sense that they were trying as hard as they could to keep the kids in check. Several of the games were either broken or not functioning properly, missing pieces etc. We had an ok time, but it was a bit disappointing.

Incredible atmosphere. The lights, the music, the friendly staff, it was all wonderful. I could see this being a great attraction for families, couples or even by myself. The mini golf is certainly the main attraction, however bowling and the arcade are both reasonably priced and considerable attractions themselves. The staff was super responsive during a problem we had during our visit. The property was impressively clean and they were very serious about COVID concerns. We had a great time, and will certa

Great place to have fun with the kids. Good music playing in the background. The bathrooms look like they are never cleaned. This does not inspire me to have a birthday party here with food. If this is how filthy the bathrooms are.

Nice arcade, mini golf, laser tag, and bowling. Not as overwhelming as other similar type places. Black lights everywhere which is cool, creepy halloween themed areas for parties. Only bummer is the cage isn't an active thing. Would be cool if you could get food and drinks there.

We went around 8pm so a hour before closing. We didn't wait long to golf. It was $29 for two people to do 18 rounds. We did however waited for 5 mins. Or 10. To start. It was cool. We took pictures while waiting. It's pretty lit in there. Cool place for a nice little date night, or to gather some friends to play games. They have plenty of arcade games. The golfing was the reason for our visit. There were some that were a challenge but we managed to bypass lol. But overall the first time experience was cool.

Took my boyfriend out for some fun & we did have fun for a short time with the ?all inclusive pack?. We didnt end up playing the round of laser tag & decided it was time to leave because Im not accepting being treated as if i?m invisible after paying your business $60 to have ?fun?. The staff member acted as if we werent upstairs waiting for the other group to get finished, acted like we were up there just lingering. However the associate Jayden (FRONT DESK) helped improve the stay by putting more arcade p

This is a great indoor themed mini golf location. Went on a slow Wednesday night. Staff was friendly and facilities were clean. Lazer games, arcade, and party rooms are also available. Can be a bit loud even empty with the music but not deafening. Themed around monsters and the course is semi-challenging.

It was a fun experience! The arcade has decent games and the mini golf is well made! Its a cute little date spot for sure!

The entire staff goes above and beyond to make guests happy. Madison is SO good with kids and acclimated to every child and family that walked in. They have taken awesome precautions with sanitation etc, in which all businesses say they do. However, I witnessed it. I don't usually write reviews. But I also especially wanted to point out my experience tonight that exceeded even the great experiences we have always had here. The owner, Tony was not missing any guest/family and making sure all of their needs w

I have been hosting meet ups here once a year, and each time, they've been extremely kind! I always make sure to call ahead and ask the manager, they always love taking our pictures. Costumes are allowed, Halloween is our favorite! This place will always be a favorite. Great area, little hidden. Clean and fun for everybody. Little bit of a wait for the mini golf, but understandable for such a busy place.

Wanted to try my hand at put-put golf and found this location. Super fun, and just all around great experience! The staff are really nice and very helpful. I did laser tag first and then the 17 holes of golf. The laser tag was really fun, I ended up with a cool family and we had a blast. The golf course has some really trying, yet fun holes, a few definitely make you work for it, but it is so much fun! The whole place is just a great vibe, definitely worth checking out!

Mini golf is great but some holes don't make sense. 90% were great. Lazer Maze lasers don't work. Laser tag for the win!! Very fun. Price is fair and affordable. Arcade was great.

We took our 10 year old granddaughter here for here birthday outing with the grandparents. The course was fun but she kept getting distracted because the arcade was right there. I would have given 5 stars if the arcade was in a section separate from the golfing.

Fun place decorated in a halloween them. Golf, laser tag and games. Fun for all ages but can be a little scary for the young ones, my 4 year old daughter took a little to warm up to it.

Very cool with the black lights everywhere you go in here. I came for a Yelp event. This is a neat little place with good sound system and colorful decorations. It was my first time playing minigolf. It was enjoyable. They also have some games here kinda like Dave and Busters, but not nearly enough games. It's something suitable for kids more so than adults

This place was awesome. My wife and friend were here on Sunday when it wasn't to busy and it was great. With the Covid stuff to not a lot of people. Lazer tag was closed. But the mini golf alone is fun. They have a cool VR set up for four individuals, but because of Covid they where not allowing it. Also mini bowling to, never heard of that until today. Plus mini golf inside helps a lot when it's raining outside. It does get a little hot in some areas of the building. Very fun.

Mini golf portion: Cool blacklight effects, but mediocre overall mini golf course. Very simple hole design and incredibly busy on weekends, with nowhere to stand as you wait 15 minutes between holes. Solid selection of ticket games and some traditional arcade games.

We've been to Monster Mini Golf in Charlotte, NC, so when we saw one in Chantilly, VA when we were on a trip, we knew we had to go. We had a really good time, the course was really well laid out so that the course was challenging, but not impossible. There are also arcade games and laser tag. We really enjoyed and will be back again. Also the staff was extremely courteous and helped us choose packages that would give us more arcade games for our buck. We also like that we can take score on our phone.

Nice event space. My 7 yo granddaughter enjoyed the arcade games. We did not play putt-putt golf.

Had an informal bday celebration here a couple weekends ago, and the gaggle of teens had a great time--as did I! We didn't get to experience anything but golfing and the arcade, but they have packed a lot into a relatively small space. It's a little hard to find, being in the very back of an office park, but once you turn, just keep going and you'll see the sign. Plenty of parking on a Saturday, though I'm guessing going during the week might be more challenging, given the office workers. Another tip, espe

It was fun, although everyone's ball got stuck in the big green goblin, pushing the previous putters' ball out for you to use. I'd come back again.

If you wanna have a really fun time doing something different this is the place, really fun decor, the laser tag is so much fun for kids and grown-ups, the mini golf is big

The PERFECT venue for birthday parties! Our son and his entire class had a fabulous time. The service was wonderful with whole big team entertaining our group with group games, mini golf, and arcade. The party room is beautifully furnished (fancy sofas, china cabinet, and a huge decorative fireplace), and ?? equipped with everything we needed like a full fridge/freezer, microwave, etc. We couldn't have imagined a better birthday!!!! So impressed and appreciative for the wonderful service, thank you!

My family and I absolutely loved the majority of the experience. We did the entire package, bowling, laser tag, putt putt and the arcade games. The staff were very friendly and were patient with my kids at the end while picking prizes. The only thing I wished was that they had a bigger area for bowling, as they only had two lanes and only one was open. I also have a complaint, but not necessarily about the facility itself. Parents, when you take your children out please watch them. Especially when doing putt

This place is great, has everything from Arcades and VR games, Laser tag, mini putt putt, a cafe. The place is decorated in such a cool way too. Great place for birthday parties and events!

The place is great for kids and offers a fun experience, but I wouldn't return to this location. Unfortunately, the manager was extremely rude to my children, refused to provide a refund after telling us he's ending our game since our kids made a mistake and put their laser tag vest on bu accident , and escalated the situation instead of resolving it. I would not recommend this establishment if you want to avoid the risk of your child?s birthday being ruined. This situation could have been handled much bet

Our first time here and we had an awesome time. During putt-putt, the players have a chance to win raffle tickets for the arcade games. Of course, tickets score the kids candy and prizes. Handsanitizer stations were everywhere. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The entire place smelled clean and was clean, including the bathrooms. Bonus for parents, theres free to use small lockers in the back to store items. We'll definitely be back.

Went on April 25, 2021, still during the pandemic. The guidelines of the CDC was met to a very high degree and made my family and myself feel very comfortable and safe. Plenty of hand sanitizer and gloves were available for the guests. The staff was tremendously nice, helpful and communitive. They offered their availability at all times and gave the rules and guidelines very thoroughly and respectfully. The other guests were respectful and very cooperative with the rules and guidelines as well. My family an

Plenty fun for small kids. 5 and 7 year old loved it. Mini golf, laser tag, and arcade. Staff was friendly!

Fun and exciting way to have a birthday. Bring a few friends and family and have a good time.

Labor Day 2024 was my first time attending a Monster Mini Golf location and it was very disappointing. I provided my email to get an online discount for my first visit but I'm so glad I didn't pay in advance at a cost of over $100. I ended up spending $45 on laser tag and arcade cards. The mini golf looked boring, the bowling as well as many of the games were not working. I asked for a refund for the portion of the money we didn't use and was told they didn't offer refunds. My group just kept playing the

Love this place! We got a round of golf and added in laser tag (additional $5). It was a fun time, you'll spend about an hour playing golf and 20 minutes playing laser tag. They have cool announcements where they give people tickets for specific color balls, super fun. It's great for all ages!! My friends and I are in our 20s and we had so much fun.

It was great my son and i played laser tag i was super fun. I really recommend this place

Wow! This place was great! We decided to only do the mini golf this time, so we have something else new to try the next time we go. This was such a fun experience, and we will definitely be back again, to golf again, and probably to try the laster tag and mini bowling!

This is a nice place to go with family, kids, friends, a date, etc. It's simple light hearted fun for all ages. It's a glow in the dark indoor mini golf course that ranges in difficulty. There's a lot of cool art, sculptures, and fun facts scattered around the course. There is also an arcade inside which has a mix of video games and games like skiball/basketball. You have to get a special card from the cashier in order to play the games. There's also a small bowling lane. My group came on a Saturday close t

Loud, bright, fast, great music and art, really great prices. I had a wicked headache so we didn't stay as long as we could have, but man, even feeling rough this place was pretty dang cool. It's *really* clean, too, which was impressive as heck. A really big, fun mini golf space. The laser challenge is definitely something you need to dress appropriately for, my skirt was a problem! The atomic rush game was really dang fun which meant it felt like it ended too soon. Loads of little kids having a blast, s

This place is rad! Holes are not difficult, but it's really a new experience playing golf under black lighting. They do giveaways and jokes over the intercom. Staff is super friendly and look happy to work there. It's like a different world inside!

We had a great time. Golf was fun, the decorations are really good and funny. The staff was helpful and enthusiastic with jokes and ticket give always. Lasers and bowling looked fun but we didn't have time for them this time. It was a little loud but you get used to it.

Went to check out this place for an upcoming birthday gathering for my 11 year old child. While walking around I notice that there isn't much seating and no eating options. Everything else looks fun so we are hopeful that the birthday gathering here will be fun

We attended a birthday party here and had such a wonderful experience. The employees were exceptionally courteous and friendly and the whole party was efficiently run. When my daughter (4) was reluctant to participate in the mini golf because of the big green monster, they accommodated her with an extra game playing card. I was so appreciative of their kindness. We have attended a lot of parties in the area and this one by far has the friendliest personnel. Thank you!

This little place is an amazing place to go and play at their arcade, golf, and laser tag. The Monster Mini Golf place at first is hidden when driving to the place because you'll see just one big commercial building. But the place is very noticeable when driving farther down the building, you'll know when you've reached Monster Mini Golf when you start to see almost anime like characters. The commercial building (Monster Mini Golf) is also by a lake which is a great place for the scenery.

Great place! Came here with my kids and mom. We all had a great time. In addition to the mini golf there is a laser maze, mini bowling, and arcade games. It wasn't crowded at all and we went on a weekend afternoon. We will definitely be coming back again!

So much fun! Definitely will be back with my family again, we had a blast! We only had time to do laser tag and mini golf. Had a great socially distant time. ?? ???

On a rainy weekend we were looking for something fun to keep a young at heart couple busy. We chose monster mini golf and has a great time. We had a forty minute wait, but that have us time for a few arcade games before or phone notified us it was our turn. 18 unique holes of mini golf with a few challenges. A great day

Great fun indoors and the staff was super nice. Only complaint was the music was plenty loud and there was a ton of people there so it was hard to do much. But I'd go here again for sure. Maybe try to go during the day.

Nice place to enjoy with family. Have arcade, laser mase and laser tag, bowling area and Golf.

Great fun, even as a couples date in our 40s. Even more fun for kids id guess. The putt putt is fun, evening a small course, but can be slow as some holes cause a backup. The laser tag is fun. The arcade has good games. Never tried the food, but heard it's good. Prices are great. Overall a good place to get out, have fun & not hurt the wallet.

Great-for-the-price mini golf course with monster figures and sound effects.

Very nice play to bring your kids. I even enjoyed myself with the golf, bowling, laser beam and things. Good place to have fun.

18 holes of indoor miniature golf. There is lots to do here including arcade games, air hockey, and a laser beam dodge room. Next time I come here I plan to stay twice as long.

We hosted my daughter's birthday party there yesterday and I had to rush to write a review! The entire staff and venue were a pleasure to work with. Everything from the booking process to the end of the party was seamless. All of our guests had such a great time and so many moms said they were going to book their future parties here! We're actually going to try to book my son's party for next month here because we had such a great experience. You won't regret either just visiting or hosting a party here!

Surprisingly more fun than I was expecting. Easy to get to, plentiful parking. Unlike a few of these kids' attractions we've been to, it was very clean. Felt a little nickel and dime'd feeding money on the card for my kid to have enough to play games, but it is what it is. Would've been better if they offered a snack bar or drinks to purchase. Otherwise, it was a good afternoon out and we will visit again.

My 2 grandsons [4& 6] had a blast.

Good experience right up to the end. Count your tickets and take photos for proof before you submit. I brought a few play cards and some bonus cards my kids had won up to the front for prizes and they told me I had about half of what I was supposed to. I politely said I had added everything up and their calculation was off and was told ?I don't know what to tell you. You can pay the difference?? honestly seemed a little like a scam to me. I asked to see everything back to show them and he said I don't have

Mini golf is a guilty pleasure of my husband and I. This course is fun and creative, but definitely geared towards kids and their families. We spent a lot of time waiting behind crowds of families, which is fine, but we probably won't return due to how congested it was. I definitely recommend this place for families with small children though!

We called on the 23rd to check the hours for the 24th. They said they were open till 6 PM. When we got there at 4:30, they told us they were closed for a private event. So we drove 25 min for nothing.

Fantastic fun with the kids! Played mini-golf, Lazer tag and arcade games. Love the decor!

My group of adult friends had fun at Monster Golf. We went on a Tuesday night and it was not crowded at all. The golf course is compact but fun. We had a few holes left at 9:00 closing time and they didn't rush us to finish so they could close.

We were guests at a party. The party facilitator was wonderful: she did an awesome job keeping the party rolling. Loved the music that was playing, the ART IS AWESOME and needs its own special recognition. My only "complaint" was that the bathroom needed to be attended to, especially since we were the first group in that day.

Such a fun time for any age! I went with an adult group and it was definitely a good 2 hours of entertainment. The minigolf is decent, the holes overlap slightly and some are definitely very hard - but overall it is a good time. The arcade has a lot of different (mostly newer) games that were all $1 or less per play, and they gave out a ton of tickets. You will not leave empty handed! They also have laser tag which I didn't try. Only downside is they don't sell food or drinks (aside from vending machin

We went here I a rainy Saturday afternoon and had a blast! My son has been eating to lay mini-golf and get out of the house during covid so we found Monster Mini golf. The kids were even more thrilled that it had an arcade option and was indoors so the rain wouldn't slow us down. They did all they could to provide separation and physical distancing for covid preventions, as well lots of hand sanitizer and cleaning everything! They even provided gloves for golfing. The mini putt putt was fun and very neon

Fun place for kids. Besides the indoor miniature golf, there are video games and laser tag. We went on a Saturday afternoon on a cold day and the place was hopping. The line to purchase tickets/games was a little disorganized but otherwise we had a great time and my daughter had so much fun.

A cool hidden gem!!! Took my little niece and nephew to this indoor mini golf and they had a great time, the mini golf is fun and perfectly challenging for their ages!

It was a fun place for the family to get a break from the heat. The golf was fun and props were great. And - depending on when you are reading this this might be more or less helpful - but it was Covid (mask wearing - hand sanitizer - wipe down of clubs) friendly.

The place is very small. No kind of system for the lines, had to ask other customers what to do and where to go. The employees were rude and not helpful. Had to wait too long to take my visually impaired grandson into the putt putt area. There was only employee that offered help. I wish I could remember his name, but he talked to some of the kids overlapping us. He made sure they were aware of the situation with my grandson. Very nice and polite young man.

Very cool decor but some issues. Limited arcade choices compared to other places with some broken machines. We've been stuck in long queues and behind huge party groups for minigolf, which is very basic. No food or drinks available limits time. Has interactive experiences like a laser beam room that are very cool.

Down in the Fredericksburg area, this small looking on the outside, HUUUIGE on the inside, mini golf facility has all the charm and awesomeness of Halloween all while making date nights a sure fun thing! If you have kids, and they like the things that go bump in the night, then schedule a birthday party here and reserve for golfing, cake, and fun! Their hours of operation are really good too, so come down, grab a putter, look the ghouls of the cemetery "DEAD" in the face, and be guaranteed to have fun ti

As a whole, it was very fun. The only reason it is a 4 is the flatness of the mini golf course and the size of the arcade. I've been to a lot of mini golf and this sure was fun but there isn't much at all in terms of elevation change or distance variations hole to hole. Everything was reasonably priced for this part of the country.

Glow glow glow - all light and bright. Mini golf and lazer tag is the highlight. Went for a bday party and all the kids had great fun!

Really affordable laser tag, mini-golf, and arcade games. Monster-themed throughout. I love the colors inside and the atmosphere. Even my grumpy teenagers enjoy it.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
