We had my daughter?s birthday party at Monkey Joe?s last weekend and it was great! Craig was our party host and he made sure everything was perfect. If you are booking a party I would request Craig if you can. We even got a cute hand written birthday card in the mail from Craig. I let my daughter open it and she was so excited. Thank you Craig for making it such an awesome party!

I have taken my family to this establishment several times ver the past few months. Every time that I have taken the kids here up until now has been good, expensive, but good. The kids have always left having a good experience along with the adults. Today we left out?. With no other way to describe it as disgusted. To start off the experience ( if it can even be called that) I was questioned as to the validity of my Veteran status, even though, both my military ID and drivers license was provided. The dis

Today is June 16, 2025, my daughter?s 4th birthday! She wanted to come here to play for her birthday and I totally wish I'd taken her somewhere else. I get that the baby area is for kids 3 & under which is completely fine with me? but enforce the rule to everyone not pick and choose which kids you are going to say something to. I wish I had gotten the girl name that very rudely said something to my 4 year old child 3 times because she's shy and timid, so she kept gravitating back to the baby area. I did my

I came here for my son?s fifth birthday and dealt with the rudest staff I've ever encountered in a child setting. It was mildly busy and the only area they care to police is the toddler area. The staff was extremely rude and yelled at my five year old for playing with him brother in the toddler area. They even told my husband he wasn't allowed in the toddler area. So you're going to sit here and tell me that we can't be close to our literal toddler while they play? No thanks. We packed up and left for a dif

Fun times. My niece had the best time

Disappointed with Staff Behavior ? Needs Improvement I brought my daughter to Monkey Joe?s for her 4th birthday. As usual, we stayed in the toddler area since the larger bounce houses can be too rough for her she's on the smaller side and a bit timid, especially around older kids. I completely understand that the toddler area is intended for ages 1?3 for safety reasons, but the lack of situational awareness from the staff was frustrating. At the time, there were only two kids in the toddler zone both were

Fantastic for smaller kids. They have plenty of different bouncy areas and a nice jungle gym. I love that they have a specific section for toddlers for their safety. They also have a variety of arcade games and three party rooms. The food is very custom to foods kids enjoy. If you want something healthy, eat before you go because there aren't any healthy options there. You cannot bring outside food and drink so be warned.

It was very crowded but we had a reservation for my baby's birthday party so it wasn't too bad for us. Our party host was great!! My 3 year old had a blast for her birthday!! She better have as much as mommy paid!! ??????

We have been coming here for many years and have done multiple birthday parties. I'm very disappointed in the staff ,for it to be a kids atmosphere . The young teenage employees don't care much towards the children. As a single father, We are the only ones here spending money?.It will be easy not to go back next time.

I had a wonderful experience for my son?s sixth birthday. Our host Mackenzie was very attentive and helpful. While serving our party, Mackenzie was training a new employee named Ava. I booked a small party thinking we would only have a few kids attending and was surprised to see double the number of guests I predicted. Mackenzie and Ava accommodated our extra guests quickly and simply adjusted our bill to account for the extra attendees. The party stayed on schedule with pizza and drinks ready by the time

I had my son's 8th birthday here and it turned out wonderful. Our hostest was top notch! The employees are group of nice young adults that are full of bubbly energy, super friendly, they all are great with kids and genuinely seem to enjoy there job. Hats off to management be for not only making it a great place for customers but it's obvious that they maintain a great work environment for this wonderful group of employees.

You only pay for entrance for 12 and under. Only 12 and under have access to the bounce areas. It's only like $10, so a pretty cheap bounce house experience. The arcade is not massive, but it's still fun. One air hockey table, two basketball/skeet ball and some other fun. We spent $50 at the arcade and my kids were loaded up with prizes. Was overall a fun experience, will definitely go back.

Imagine paying almost four hundred dollars for a room for your sickly one year old son first Birthday party only for the manager to escort his 13 year old sister off the floor for coming down the slide with him being that he's on the smaller side due to his sickness! Horrible Horrible service! the manger harassed us the whole visit. I will be contacting corporate. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!

Great place! I highly recommend them. The kids always have a blast and I have never run into an issue there. We love how the costumed characters always greet the kids. They are a fabulous spot for the younger crowds.

Being advised that several of the paid birthday had to wait outside (30 minutes) while the others were already inside was a bomber. Adding other kids from a different party to our ticket and the hostess kept saying that an additional charge will be added per kid. No refills for kids and we had to ask for water. Then checking out an extra pizza was on our ticket along with what the hostess said was a birthday gift (snake toy) was charged as well. Not a great experience for newcomers. Paid a great amount of m

Fun fur the entire family! The staff is amazing and great with children. Jaden is a fantastic manager & truly looks out for his guest & staff. Best summer fun a

I do not recommend this place at all. Only has a few machines and very little to offer. Don't bother at all.

Found this place by searching Google maps for an indoor play ground. This place was great. Two large inflatable slides that my kids loved, an inflatable jumping area and then a big jungle gym playing adventure area. Lots of places for adults to sit and to can even bring your own socks so you don't have to buy the ones there like you do at lots of other places. On Tuesdays it's only $4 each for kids 4 and under instead of the usual $9.99. so it's a great deal for unlimited play time there.

By reading some of these reviews doesn't surprise me at all. This place needs new ownership the owner Natasha Lunce is very unprofessional and rude. I have been bringing my kids there for years we will not be back.she proceeds to tell lies to make her self look good about situations that happens in her so call building. When does a place limit you on refills on a cup that's refillable.we had just got there and wanted the kids to get a sip to drink before ordering so we tried ordering a picture of drink she

My sons enjoy the inflatables and climbing areas, but there could be some major improvements. Most of the areas are dirty and don't seem to be cleaned properly every day. Others show serious wear and tear, and replacement could be beneficial. The attendants do not properly monitor. They employ younger teens and they walk around every 5-10 minutes but don't actually monitor. For example, the 3 and under area has older children and the workers see them but keep walking without saying anything. Usually it smel

First time attending! Celebrated my son's second birthday there. Everyone was so nice & our hostess, Jazalyn, was the sweetest! Definitely will be back for more mother/son dates!

I wouldn't recommend for toddlers at all. I don't expect everything to be perfect or spotless because it's a place for kids but there are so many safety hazards from exposed equipment, cords, outlets, choking hazards all over the place and food in the floor, it doesn't look as if it's cleaned regularly. My son found every hazard in the hour we were there. Parents don't watch their children and employees are only monitoring front desk. The toddler are is small with a padded floor, some soft blocks and some h

Such a fun place for kids. Even adults can enjoy it too playing with their kids. Definitely would recommend it and would love to go back again.

This place is a little smaller than I expected but certainly packed with fun. My kids loved it and they had monkey jaine coming out every half hour I haven't seen a monkey Joe's doing this since I've worked for one 13 years ago. Keep up the good work

I brought my 4 and 6 year old to Monkey Joe?s for the NYE event! It was well organized, and the staff was super friendly! There were more people there than I have ever seen and the staff was always kind! We love it there! Thank you for hosting such a fun event! ??

If you don't mind being around lgbtq it's a okay place to be they can definitely use a carpet cleaner the staff is overwhelmed some are very nice and some aren't

Our Daughter loved it here. She didn't want to leave. It was her first time at a play place like this.

My granddaughter loves this place. She has a blast every time we go there. She plays with all the arcade games, even though she's only 2 & 1/2. Nothing stops her. LOVES the bouncy, sliding boat, the maze.

Great place for little kids. Security and supervision is great. Note: kids over 12 can't do inflatables or jungle gym.... Just the arcade.

We LOVE this place as well as the owner and staff. Perfect place for a birthday party as you can see from the picture below of my 4 year olds face. So much fun had by all the kids at the party. Great memories are always made here. Highly recommend. Even my now 13 year old can tell you of fun times and parties he had here!!!

Really really ticked me off today. We came for my sons 4th birthday. He turned 4 today. My daughter (10 months) and I were in the toddler area. No other children were here because it's during school hours. They insisted my 4 year old could not be in here with us. Even though no other children were in the area. This of course made my little guy upset and want to leave. I tried to talk to them about the situation and they didn't care. Thanks for ruining his monkey joes experience. Jerks. Also the floors are d

My granddaughter likes this place. We bring her here occasionally. It's a nice place for the little ones to play safely. For me, as a grandpa, it's a bit loud. But, it's not a bad price and she likes coming here.

Could be better? too crowded. an small area with lots of big kids and small toddlers together, in my opinion, was very stressful to see ??, and it was not even my group of kids??. But my kids had fun.

I was skeptical about buying the wings, did so anyways and received a basket of nearly burnt wings and told they're having issues with the fryer. Not my issue, very dissatisfied

Took my 2 year old and 2 of her nieces here to celebrate her bday. They had a blast awesome selection of toddler friendly activities. Loved the toddlers only section.

A fun place to take the kiddos. Even my 2 year old had a safe place for kids her age!

I wouldn't necessarily call the staff rude, but they definitely have an I don't care attitude, and I mean several of them. That could also be attributed to being young and not having a lot of experience in customer service. We had several issues tonight and I don't feel the need to go in to detail due to the obvious lack of concern and bias on the owner's part from reviews. I will say my children had a blast. I don't think it was terribly over priced for what you get. There's much room for improvement and

This was our first time here and the kids love it! They have bouncy areas, obstacle bounce house, an area for toddlers and a game area to win tokens. Downloading the app for the first time gives you one free admission ??. The adults are free and children are $10.00. You can buy game cards to earn the tokens on and the staff are continuously walking around to ensure everyone is playing correctly. The kids can not wait to go back and this is so so much better than Chuck E Cheese!

Had a party there for grandson. Everyone loved all the jump castles. Were socks with nonslip socks

Honestly I wasn't going to come here until I couldn't stop laughing at the owners public response to the negative reviews. We just moved down the street and went today, thought it was going to be like the indoor activity things in NJ. It's far beyond that. Cute yet efficient I like how you can sit anywhere at any table and have a clear view of your kids throughout the facility. There was a birthday party going on and the set up was adorable. The prices werent as bad as I thought they would be, the food was

It's been about a month since our horrific experience at monkey joes and I just still cannot get over the unprofessionalism that took place. On 9/15, my son and I attended a birthday party at this location. Upon arriving, we waited outside on the sidewalk for 25 minutes (past the start of the birthday party) while waiting to get inside. We let the staff member at the door know multiple times that we were there for a birthday party, along with others there for the same party and were basically ignored. He co

Hey owner maybe you should take a minute to read your website and add the little detail that you can't have cookies. You seem to do a pretty good job on that keyboard. No where does it state NO COOKIES ALLOWED nor did any employee say that the ONE time I spoke to someone. Obviously you had the same issue with ice cream cake because it clearly states that's not allowed. I don't just walk around with my rear on my shoulders like your unhappy employees. I'm sure that video shows how disgusting your employee ac

Thank you Monkey Joe for making my twins birthday a hit. They loved you. We love how clean the place was. Everyone was so polite! The service was excellent.

Very busy place but the staff are on point doing there best to serve everyone.

Every time my family visits Monkey Joe's the customer service is on point, the food is excellent. It's a great way to have fun with your kids and make memories

So, you can definitely bring your own socks or buy theirs if you wish. I had socks for my daughter so that was great. The guy at the desk who checked us in and took our payment, was very friendly and pleasant. Every worker who I came in contact with was so nice to us. They smiled and was always pleasant. We had a blast! I didn't try the food though as we were only there for the games and fun stuff. We will definitely visit again when we're in the area.

This was my family 1st time here, and we love it?? we will definitely bring our babies back here. ANOTHER GREAT DAY HERE AT MJ ??

Horrible experience to say the least Rude and racist staff. Young and inexperienced staff and management is the worst. I took my son for his bday and was ?Honest? about him turning 4 that exact day. Yet when he was in the toddler section with all his friends and family that attended for his bday. The staff kept coming up to my once 3 year old now 4 to tell him to get out of the toddler section. My son should?ve never been addressed, the appropriate response should?ve been to address the crowd and identify t

First time here, absolutely loved it. My little girl was wide open from the moment we got there until we left. Clean facility. Will definitely be bringing my child back. Great place for parties!

Overall the place itself is great and my grandkids love to go but a lot of the staff attitudes were awful!!!! One young lady moved my grandkids out of the toddler area which is for 3 and under (one of mine is 3 and the other 4) and I had to ask her twice what they did before she answered and yes she heard me the first time and she had a nasty attitude then. She also didn't want to wait for them to pick out there little prizes. Just Rude! One of my kids lost one of her toys and when I ask if I could buy ano

Edit: Just attended for a birthday party. This place is helicopter parenting corporatized. Absolute enforcement of so many arbitrary rules in the hopes of avoiding litigation; to the effect that an 8 year old cannot play with their 2 year old cousin in the toddler area. These poor kids working here are having to act like hoa karens essentially. I just feel bad for everyone all around. Original: Good to have an option for rainy days but a bit too pricey for what they offer. 3 bounce houses, a jungle gym and

we are visiting from out of town, have never been to a Monkey Joe?s but other establishments that are similar, and after visiting your business I don't want to go back to the ones in our hometown! The staff is amazing. My step mom and I couldn't stop talking about how impressed we were with the staff that were constantly walking around keeping an eye on things and making sure all the guests were taken care of. Everyone was extremely pleasant and everything was so clean! The staff is so on top of everything

Today my friend's daughter had a bday party and it was terrible. The so-called waitress or whatever they call themselves was rushing us out of the party area. $400 was spent in this place today and this is how you all treated us? So many kids running around parents not paying attention to them and their trying to come into the party room. The food was so horrible. I don't know what they used to make those pizzas but they need to redo their recipe. And to top the whole event off they're gonna accuse my othe

I can somewhat see the owners point of view, however, there are bounds that should not be crossed and this owner has definitely crossed several. I have owned my own catering company and to respond in the way this owner has would have killed my business. I depend on reviews to correct any issues that may arise. All this owner wants to do is bash people for making honest observations. I came with both my grandchildren and was treated wonderfully by the hostess, Yes the place is small for an establishment that

Took my 4 yr old grandson for the first time. He had an absolute blast. 5 hours non stop and he never got bored, there's so much to do. It was a Saturday afternoon and there were a lot of people there but it never seemed crowded. Staff was all over and very attentive and I saw them cleaning and wiping down tables and equipment pretty constantly. Overall great experience. Only problem is now he wants to live there!

It's a great place to bring your child!!!! I brought my 4 year old nephew there and he had so much fun!!!!!

It wasn't busy at all during this time, upon entering all the staff was polite and welcoming. Facilities were clean.

My 3 year old loves it. My only gripe is it could be cleaner.

Lots of fun for all ages! It's relatively cheap to get in and keeps children entertained for hours. Food is pricey but not unreasonable.

It is good for kids that need the exercise and have no other children to play with. The bouncy houses have a lot of patch work on it. The kids do seem to have fun although it is a small room. I waited longer than needed to get an order of kid chicken nuggets and a play jazz to be three to four customers. But let me say that upon walking through the I was greeted well

Lady up front seemed like she was pissed off every time I was asking her a question.

Had a great experience at this location.. We were visiting from out of town and decided to just go have some fun. The staff was very friendly, the kids had fun. I was very impressed that the environment was so clean with very attentive and hardworking staff. I also loved that monkey Jane came out every hour to greet the kids. My kids loved seeing her.

We had a great time, and the kids had a great time running around and playing. The kids and adults had to wear arm bands for security. If the kids' band doesn't match the person trying to leave with the kid, they are not allowed to leave.

Honestly, had my children not been coming for a classmates party I would not have patronized this establishment. The waiting area needs to be renovated because if there is a large party you are forced to wait outside at the rude and combative request of the management which who had no inkling of customer service. I came to offer a review and saw the rude response to someone else posting about the small waiting area. The party nor actual play areas are impressive at all so with that in mind we definitely won

My son and I are visiting from Florida these next few weeks, and this has been such a pleasant surprise! My son is three years old and has been having the most fun he's had this whole time we've been here! The facility is very clean, and I'm highly impressed! We will definitely make us a place to visit every time we come back this way! ??

June 4, 2023 4pm My grandson & I walked into Monkey Joe playhouse for first time. I thought the play areas were very nice & safe. Until my baby got stuck in the netting after loosing his balance falling in the netting his legs and feet dangling in that trash.. I could find him. He was so scared he wasn't talking. I looked over on side of the biggest slide. On the outside of the play area was tons of trash and dust that get sweep and trapped in that area. Plus goes unnoticed. There were bugs & spiders. I alm

It's ok here. The only thing that happened was 3 different games took my money. I brought it the attention of an employee and she tried to help but needed a manager. Not once did I see the manager come over. She knew about it bc the employee told her but she never put money back on card or anything. A little disappointed in this. Overall a nice little place to get energy out of the little ones

We drove 2 hours thinking this would be something fun to take our 4yo to do. Overall, the facility and staff wasn't that bad at all. However, don't expect all of the other parents to be watching their kids. It seemed like somewhere they could take them and were able to sit around on their phones or talking to one another while their kids were running around screaming and pushing over everybody. On a side note, our son has autism and doesn't play with other kids and was perfectly fine playing by himself in a

I have visited Monkey Joes 2 times now, both times for a birthday party... one that I personally paid for. My first visit I was not impressed by the staff. The entrance staff was less than friendly upon our arrival. Into our visit when it was time to receive our food and drinks, the lady had an attitude when I politely told her that what she brought us was not what was ordered. She brought back the correct items, however still seemed just as annoyed. I hoped this was just a fluke, and that our next time wou

This place is GREAT! My kids had so much fun and exerted so much energy that they crashed when we got home. They keep asking when we can go again. I love how this environment brought out my introverted daughters wild side. She was footloose and fancy free. I was really surprised that they actually had good food. I can not wait for another play date at Monkey Joe's.

We spent 2.5 hrs there today. My daughter had a blast and would have stayed longer if I let her. The workers were all very friendly!! Our whole stay there we noticed 2 workers walking in circles around the place, making sure things were clean, and people weren't causing problems. I liked that. The mam at the front door was awesome, super friendly and welcoming. The lady working the prize counter was also super nice it was stressful when we went up there because so many kids were up there picking prizes but

Bought my kids a game card for $50 that advertised they would get 540 points but because we purchased the card with the cashier they were only given 400 points, when i went to ask manager she stated that if it had already been used we could not get a refund, but how would we know until we actually used it and it stated how much was actually on it and refused to add the extra points they advertise!

We enjoyed it but there were some flaws! Whoever was in the monkey Jane costume was horrible you could tell they didn't enjoy there job and didn't want to be there and the people at the concession stand just had a mean mug look on her face you could tell she didn't want to be there either! I liked the girl who hosted our party but there was a point she was to aggressive I guess I could say and almost made my daughter cry I get she was trying to get the kids to hype up but the way she went about it was aggre

My kids love it here. If you small children 12 and under it's great for them. Would recommend. Nice outing for the kids to run around & play

Had a great time with my great granddaughter and her grandma

We love monkey joes however we went this weekend and it was 80 degrees in there, verified by the thermostat on the wall. They had it set to 79. Everyone was sweating their butts off. When we asked the manager he said sure and never went over there to turn it down. Even the employees were fanning themselves. It was ridiculous.

My kids love going here when we visit family and I love the massage chairs while my kids are playing ( they are old enough to play alone) . The staff is very hands on and play with the kids . Not sure where some of these crazy reviews come from. Everytime we are there the staff is constantly wiping things down. Thanks for a fun place to stay during our visits there , wish we had one back home .

My younger kids love this place. They have adequate staff walking around to ensure things run smoothly. The food is pretty decent and the prices aren't outrageous. The only recommendations I'd make are to get rid of the arcade and put up more inflatables dedicated towards smaller children. And also another area for children ages 4-6 that they can play similar to the toddler area since that is only for children under 3 and some kids over 3 still aren't quite ready for the inflatables yet.

We always have the best time and the girls loved their birthday party here!!! Our party planner was super helpful, even going so far as to put together the cupcake stands! It was amazing how dedicated everyone was. There was another child there who was being very rude to our kids, and an employee kept an eye out for us so we could enjoy our party guests. We will definitely keep going back!

Both my sons, 3 and 4, had a great experience. Some of the games were out of order, but there were plenty of others to choose from. They had three inflatable slides, but be careful, it is slippery and the kids go down the slides super fast. They do serve food- seasoned fries, pizza slices, tenders, and wings.

It has been a very long time since I visited this place. It has grown in popularity since it's humble beginning. I was not impressed by what they have to offer. First off, we had to wait in line out in 90 degree heat to gain access with two toddlers for 30 mins. Secondly, the toddler play area can use a good cleaning. Visible discoloration from the dirt of good times passed. Lastly, I do respect the fact you implemented a waiver so I know where the liability lies. However, I didn't appreciate upon my departu

Took our great granddaughter and her mommy. She had a blast. It was so fun watching her. The kids that worked there was great. Parents wish I could say the same. We saw one family steal their kid 2 stuff monkeys one drop f bombs with kids all around. I just wish the parents would respect what is there for the kids. Besides a few parents it was great.

It was a nice space for a good deal. My only complaint was the bathrooms weren't clean, and it was hot inside.

My son is 1 year and 8 months old. They? have a play area with toys for the toddlers. I think my child needs to be 2.5-3 to really enjoy the bounce house. They had a carousel ride that he really loved and he got a chance to make some new friends. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Plus it was only $5.38 (+ $0.75 each round on the carousel and $2 for our soda) to get out the house and enjoy ourselves. Not bad!

My kids and I visited today and, upon trying to leave, I realized I locked myself out of my car and needed my husband, who was > 30 minutes away, to come rescue us. I was hoping we could wait for him inside so that my kids could play a few minutes longer since we literally just left two minutes before. We were told we could sit at the tables but that my kids could not play since our arm bands had been snipped. I understand the need for procedures like this, and I typically don't ask for exceptions (nor do I

This place is amazing and my entire family had an amazing time! This really nice woman named Natasha went above and beyond to make sure that we had fun. It turns out that she's the owner. We will have to make this one of regular spots. It's rare that we can all enjoy the same place and a fun time is had by the adults, teens, and toddlers.

Had my daughters 6th birthday here and it was an awesome experience. Seanna was our party host and she was absolutely outstanding! Any way she could help us, She did exactly that. I would definitely recommend Monkey Joes for your next birthday party!!

Expensive food BUT the pizza is good and we have a great time every time we go here. I love that they have a system to make sure kids aren't leaving without parents. I also like that the staff doesn't hate when us adults join in with the kids

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
