Customer Reviews

I was up visiting my daughter for a week. And it was cloudy and rainy so my grand boys and daughter took me here. Needless to say what a great place it is. John the owner is a grand host ... we went back a few times I was up here. From a stale bar, to a family oriented environment... great space John... I will be back up and stop and say hello... Rock on... Billy Bob Williams

This place is great. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There's plenty of pool tables (where my 12 year old son is playing pool for the first time and deciding he loves it). They have a golf simulator and new and vintage arcade games and pinball machines. We've decided this is our new favorite place in North Conway!

Mo's Happy Place Arcade is a fantastic spot for family fun in North Conway! The arcade has a mix of classic games, plus pool tables and a golf simulator for extra entertainment. The atmosphere is welcoming for all ages. The owner, John, is incredibly friendly and makes sure everyone has a great time. They even have beers on tap, which is a nice bonus for the adults. Definitely recommend stopping by if you're in the area! ????????

Great place and service. Cant beat the prices here and the service is great. Owner is extremely nice and friendly! Only thing is this place needs to be more advertised because just driving by you would think it's just an arcade. But the golf simulator is awesome and pool tables are a great addition with the bar.

My girlfriend and I tried to give it a shot being our first time in the business and were immediately greeted upon walking by a gentleman named Jon (or John with an H). We started off with great conversation and friendly hospitality. As far as establishment purposes go, Jon and Mo have taken what was a place with potential to its fullest and made it an amazing spot to be for the whole family. My girlfriend and I noticed they had a golf simulator there and instantly made that our first decision and gave it

What a fun experience! My nephew and I went to play the new indoor golf Sim here tonight and I am blown away with how different the place is from what was once a stain of an establishment on this town. Met the owner, he's kind, easy to chat with and has a great vision for this place. I feel like this will be the new (and way less toxic) hang out spot for locals once they get all their food and liquor licenses. Even until then, I promise you'll have a blast. Can't wait to bring my kiddos this weekend.

My family had a blast. The kids (and my husband) enjoyed the golf simulator and arcade games. Snacks were delicious. A great time all around! A must do on our next trip to North Conway.

Great food, - pretzels were fresh. Drinks on point (has both Pepsi and Coke). Local owners. The arcade is perfect sized with very competitive games. -Batman game is for sure a must try and pinball is a ton of fun. Basketball is very competitive also!

Old school, laid back place! Great owners! Great place to chill and play games! Hoops, space invaders, pinball, air hockey!!! Something for everyone! Didn't eat, but heard the food is really good! Great service!! Thank you! We will definitely be back!

We had a great time at MO?s with our two boys. We played pool, skee ball and spent some time in the arcade. Our favorite part was the simulator! Instead of golf we played simulation soccer. North Conway needed a spot like this!

Hit the brand new Full Swing golf simulator! Considering it snowed this weekend, it was great to get some swings in. Their new simulator is legit! Can't lie, the arcade was a lot of fun too.

John the owner was amazing, we had a blast playing pool and virtual golf. Draft beer is Tuckermans, perfect, and pub food was an excellent compliment to our love of nostalgic pinball, skeeball and air hockey making this place a weekly stop!

We had so much fun. John was so so nice and such a great host. We will definitely be back if our travels bring is up this way again. The golf simulator was amazing!

Awesome place - clean, fun games, very reasonable rates (get the unlimited game card for time!) - good food, lots of pool tables - very nice owner! We will be back.

Awesome simulator, classic arcade games and super nice staff.

It was about time North Conway got a venue like Mo's Happy Place! Friendly staff, great snacks and drinks, and plenty of fun games to fill an afternoon with family or friends. John was incredibly kind and even let us try the golf simulator after we spent some time at the pool tables. He also gave us a great recommendation for a place to go watch the sunset before we left! Will definitely be coming back.

Quality pool tables, fun games and good company

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
