Midlane Esports

I recently had an event at Midlane, and the staff are the friendliest and most accommodating. They pulled together to get the space ready last minute and took care of small details like the color of the lights, a specialty drink, and even played my show on one of the screens. It is a nice environment. The bartender Kate is my favorite and is the heart of this place!!

Went here for the Chicago vgm jam with Kevin and the Quicksavers this past Saturday night. If you like jazz and video game music, then you've gotta get out to one of these. My son and his friends enjoyed playing together. It's a unique venue for a birthday party. Pizza and soda are included in the package. They also allowed outside food. It is really a nice place for gamers of all ages.

I've looked for a lot of places here in chicago, I had to choose between this and ignite. As a professional Counter Strike player?. I would choose at any time this location. 1. The staff is superior, always friendly. They help you and understand your needs. 2. The location is really nice, restaurants nearby but also good food/ drinks inside. 3. Very clean !!! 4. This area is awesome. They have great customer service. The food here is filling and tasty haha. The lounge itself is very welcoming. This place is a gamers heaven. Let me also add that they have these fun events that happen every single weeks (they have tourneys, DJs that come in, and a lot more). This place is worth your money and I recommend bringing your friends along for the LAN experience.

My teenage son had his birthday party here. When you book a private party, you get use of the whole space and they order pizza. The kids enjoyed pc gaming and playing Smash Bros. They had fun, it was an easy process to book and I found Adam to be very helpful. Thank you, Midlane!

Great place to support great people and a small business! I work as a freelancer in the events industry. I first came across this location for a gig. The owner Adam and his staff could NOT have been more kind! The team was as much friendly as they were professional. It's made me want to return here as a customer, despite not being much of a gamer! This is such a great space. We (froSkate) were invited to host a game night at Midlane to increase our effort of making space for our community. I had a fantastic experience at Midlane Esports! The fact that I can bring my cat along makes it a unique and welcoming spot. Visited to celebrate a birthday and had a blast. I don't play any computer games but ended up playing Mario Kart and Smash Bros on the bigger TVs with folks for hours. Only left because it was closing time, but they have a full bar and food!

I was visiting Chicago with my wife and learned of a fighting game tournament at Midlane so I decided to go. I loved it! We had a Halloween event at Midlane and it was fantastic! PCs are cutting edge and up-to-date, connection made downloading new games quick, and the service was spectacular. Staff went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of.

A great spot for underage birthday parties! Just had our daughter?s party here after attending her best friend?s birthday at this location. The kids had a fantastic time and the adults could sit back and relax. The bar has all kids of interesting tea drinks in addition to soda and usual bar drinks. Plus, it's got a nice, relaxed vibe. Only thing that could have been a little better was that they missed some of my emails. Overall, I was very happy with our experience and definitely recommend them.

Made a reservation for a private party and had a great time! It makes it super easy to get a big group together and play games, they had everything set up for us as we got there, handled food and drinks, and were professional and communicative the whole way through. Lots of reviews mention that it's great for kids parties, but it's so hard to find a big group activity for adults that isn't wildly expensive and this worked out great for us!

This is my new favorite place in logan square. Great place to play games, hang out and drink. Also a perfect place to start or end a night. You got Steam, they got Steam. This arcade bar is absolutely amazing! A lot of gathering for gaming , the atmosphere is buzzing, and the staff is friendly. It's a perfect blend of drinking and gaming. Hosted my 12 yo son's birthday party there and was a major success. We were able to reserve the venue during the day and accommodate a moderate sized group. The equipment was great and provided a comfortable environment for budding gamers to interact socially.

We had such a great night here! The vibes were great, the gaming was a lot of fun with a great layout. This place has live DJ music once a month & it really got the crowd going. Attended a New Years Eve party here and had a great time! Everything was fairly priced, and the owner was super friendly. I was on a drink package so I didn't get to try any of the cocktails, but I'm definitely planning on coming back in the future to try out the rest of the menu.

I love this place, when you walk in you're always greeted. I always so for the switch but it's go many games to pick from, and slots a PC?s in there. Easy to eat food while you game, like tater tot?s and chicken strips. A lot of cool beers and fancy drinks selections. They really just let you chill and prices are reasonable. About $10-20 I've never spend more than 40 dollars here and had a great time!! The owner Adam is always there and he has great vibes!!

Went on a Saturday for an event they were hosting, got to meet one of the owners, super chill guy and made me feel welcome as a first timer. Everything was clean and functional. Nice little snack menu and tasty drink options. Played league for 7 hours had a blast, if you're looking to kill some time or have fun with a friend I would highly recommend.

Super nice staff! I was there all weekend for a League of Legends event, and they were extremely accommodating. They opened up twice hours before their usual time to let us get in, and never complained about us bugging them all weekend for drinks and computers. Was there for a community rap release event too, which was super cool to see.

I was looking for a gaming lounge for my child's birthday and found this one. I made party plans with Adam. He was very cordial and welcoming over the phone and when we arrived. He helped us bring in our decorations and ensured we had everything we needed. He didn't rush us out and told us to take our time. We will definitely be back!

I threw one of my boys a bday party there this past weekend and it was AMAZING! He turned 13 and he's a gamer so I invited family and friends. Stopped in last Friday to finally check this place out and I have to say, this might be my new favorite bar. My buddy and I are big League of Legends players so we decided to see what Midlane was all about. I got a good feeling as soon as i walked in. Honestly was awesome my younger brother found this place and it was super cool. The staff was beyond friendly and the atmosphere was perfect for both adult and teen gamers. The open bar and snacks is a major plus, grate hangout spot for the team should you want to get out of the house for a night in the town. Had a casual night here for a bachelor party. We came in at the tail end of another bachelor vs bachelorette party. It was an innovative competition between the two bridal parties. Great place to hangout and game! Could lower the music a bit to be able to hear the game you're playing. I recommend bringing your own controller and headset if you're use to your own equipment. Headphones are given to you but volume isn't loud enough for competitive gaming. Your controller would be for the PC if you don't game on keyboard and mouse. They have snacks and drinks to buy. I booked Midlane for my boyfriend's surprise party and Adam was really helpful answering all my questions, giving me the tour of the place prior to booking and answering endless questions I had in order to ensure my boyfriend and his bros have a blast! The best gaming lounge bar in Chicago and it just opened in 2020. Adam, the owner, is SUPER cool! The lounge has tabletop games like Jenga and playing cards for Spades. Gaming section is stacked with PCs for PC gaming, comfortable gaming chairs for everyone, headsets, the whole nine! The bar is nice with a nice variety of drinks and the bartenders are awesome hosts! I absolutely love the atmosphere here. I stop in daily for a sour or two. Their selection is pretty good. They have PC's and consoles set up, sometimes I use the Switch to play Smash. The staff are super friendly and I think I found my new neighborhood spot.
