If you are looking for a good clean pub this is the place! Good bang for your buck with pool tables, Golden Tee & ping pong. Highly recommend if you are visiting the area and looking for a place to grab a drink. No food available to be prepared. Will definitely be back when in the area.
They have pinball April 2025
Excellent atmosphere!!! Attentive staff. Everything you could want in a pub.
first time encountering this rare live action flintstones pinball machine! ran well and very fun. they have tequila
The only bar that survived covid that caters to the younger crowds and club style crowds left in St Joe. Unfortunately, as a local, and this literally being my neighborhood bar, I can only hang out here now, Jan 2nd - March 2, before FIP, wedding season kicks off again. Come to St Joe, open a pub with a jukebox, pool, arcade, and get a piece of the pie $$. My first beer was 19 years ago at Mickeys, long before this current ownership.
This place is so fun! Drinks, ski ball, guitar hero, pop a shot... what more can you ask for? Great service too
Best place to hang out in St. Joe! Local, great people, and fun games to play from skee ball to Family Guy Bowling. Skip the tourist traps and support a corner bar.
Fun on the inside, when I went back to close out my tab, the (drunk) doorman insisted my hand stamp (that he placed there an hour earlier) was from the night before. Charged me an additional $10 to get my debit card. Other than that, classic dive bar! Edit: More than 6 months later, the owner replied to this review calling me a liar. Not sure why they think I'd make this up? unprofessional and thin-skinned behavior, yes, but I'm not sure what I expected from the trashiest townie bar in the area.
My husband and I were celebrating our 44th anniversary. Dave the bartender was a absolute sweetheart. Made Dan and I feel welcomed. We had a blast.
Bachelorette party showed up with well over an hour before close and were told we couldn't come in. When we asked why he said it's last call. We asked if we could just buy a shot and leave and he refused. The guy at the door was an absolute jerk. Weird to turn away a group of 9 people eager to spend money at your establishment.
I totally dig that this Irish bar makes most dive bars I've visited in south west Michigan look classy. I dig that some of the regulars have circa 1980 windbreaker fashion. I find it hilarious that they have large cans of Ice House beer. I drank three. I like that someone's grandma was in the corner wearing 2lbs of makeup and 10lbs of costume jewelry and pounding Old Style. I love the cheaper-than-dirt drinks. I dig the no nonsense bartenders. I'll be back
A neat pub to check out when visiting! They've got several dart boards, guitar hero, pinball, and more classic arcade games. They've also got a pretty good selection to drink for affordable pricing too. Gotta go check it out
It was a decent place to be but the two different bar tenders I dealt with were very antisocial and unpleasant. Not personable at all and it ruined the atmosphere
There's 1 bouncer who is a real complete douche. Otherwise the place is cool. He didn't personally disrespect me but I've witnessed him being disrespectful to others when it was unnecessary. Would recommend still.
I was pleasantly? astonished of the overall decor and fine maintenance of this generally urban located establishment! I was greeted by the most friendly gentlemen at the door that were so kind as to give me a free punch on the top notch punching bag!!! What a good time, the people, the ping pong, the puns!! Overall a five star from this american!! Can't wait to eat at the five star restaurant that I heard will be coming soon!! Thanks you guys, hope to see you all again soon!!!
Not bad for a dive. Younger crowd, good service. Minimum food options but munchies are available.
Terrible! Bride set up a time with the manager for an after party. When we arrived after the wedding they refused us entrance! Too bad because we were about to spend an obnoxious amount of money!
It is a classic dive for the locals. be careful of who you talk to, because this is the St Joseph MI version of- "You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. We must be cautious"
Dying out slowly. You can't have a regular bar these days. They do have a bunch of games and whatnot including free ping pong. But the place is so wasted. It could be so much more. They really need to take a look at catering to the demographic
Nice little spot. They have an out door area which is nice. People come out to check if anyone needs help. Music is a good mix depending on the night. Great place to have some friends come with.
The food was catered so I didn't eat mickey's food. Everyone is super nice there.
We're here because my fiance's band, Gates of DK, has a show here tonight. Great vibe. Decent amount of people, good drinks (altho a little heavy on the ice), this has been the go to place for everyone, for many, many yrs.
Place is a dump, went to bike on Monday, thought I was at a bikers clubhouse. Too much testosterone for sure.
I'm in a band from Grand Rapids that had a show scheduled here for 5/5/17. On 5/4/17 we noticed their facebook said something about cancelled shows, we called, our show was cancelled 2 days prior on 5/2. I repeat, we had to call them to find out that they cancelled our show. We even had to tell the other bands (who were also out of towners), they had NO idea. We almost drove all the way out there for no reason. Horrible management.
Went by here tonight looking for a local bar to hang at it looked goid in rge outside & the games inside looked cool ...the change machine for the games dud not work & the 2 bartenders walked by my boyfriend more than once without even a "Hello"...Booooo!!
Dive bar with a nice jukebox, 2 pool tables and some really fun arcade games. No food. Eat at Sandbar first and then go here.
You know why I am here. This place is everything a dive bar should be, cheap drinks, no food, bar games, and locals. This place makes me so happy.
Nice pub with reasonable drinks, live music on the weekends and pool tables. Unfortunately no food, yet. I'd give 5 stars if they served food.
Great place and fantastic time. Work staff works hard to make sure you have a pleasant night.
Everything you'd expect a small town bar to have.. Great drinks with friendly staff. Plus they have fun arcade games!
Only 2-3 bars stay open late here and Mickey is one of them. Always crowded and fun. Drinks are affordable and not water down
We played air hockey for the first time in a long time...so fun! But the bartender could have been more attentive and kind.
I love going there and shooting pool. I met a lot of good pool players
Last call dive bar that's quite popular. Hipsters and tattoos with a grungy feel. Some nights end up being quite the party.
came to watch a friends. The band was Great. The service at the bar SUCKED!!! and she was rude and doesn't realize who pays her salary!!!!
I'm from Indianan and this bar was affordable AND fun!
Great hangout bar with affordable drinks.
Pretty fun dive bar. Bigger than I thought, nice pool tables.
A nice little locals bar with very fairly priced drinks. Nice atmosphere and the staff was very friendly.
Friendly staff, good drinks and decent food at reasonable prices. Pool table and ping pong too!!
Nice neighborhood dive bar, drinks are cheap,no food though, laid back welcoming atmosphere.
Good place to meet up and have a good time check it out you might like the atmosphere
Greatest "dive bar" in berrien county, honestly. Jukebox, games and cheap booze +++ good service.??
It is a peaceful environment and the place is clean. They have affordable drinks and always have gd shows.
Surprisingly clean and nice bar. Lots of people and fun dart and pinball.
The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and happy to see me even though it was my first time to visit them.
Great bar, comfortable, good bartender, plenty of room, pool tables, darts and priced right!!!
Love the environment, smiling face his and always a good time.
It was a very fun night of pool, and drinking and dancing and listening to music
Basic dive although they do have pingpong, pool, punching machine, darts, and mini bowling machine.
Mickelson always jumping u go enjoy yoself
It's definitely come a long was from the complete hole in the wall it was. Staff is great.
They always always put someone else's drinks on my tab, if it doesn't come from me don't put it on there.
Big bearded dude is friendly and knowledgeable
Lots of thrash .. Need some classic rock ... Rock .. Dancing Music .. Would bring crowd in ....
What a great place since their renovation. Ice cold drinks, ping pong, arcade, and pool tables.
Atmosphere is bad because of locals that hangout there.
One of 2 bars open late. This one charges a cover.
Good time for a wedding reception. Darts, pinball and pool tables as well.
From Chicago. I love this Place man Good people everywhere!
If you don'e upstairs or drink alot your out Good place to buy meth. And that's it
Good atmosphere for a chill night out with a few friends and a few drinks.
Little hole in the wall. Has potential. Used to have a lot of good shows here.
Great customers and bar staff
Dive bar, but the drinks are strong the prices are cheap the staff and patrons are friendly
In serious need of making it more appealing.Used to have entertainment and good food years ago Going downhill big-time.
Great place day or night. Fun times.
Always a great time, awesome bartenders! Variety of music/bands!
Good atmosphere pool tables foose ball arcade games
Great service pool tables fun crowd. I was looking for a dive trust this isnt it
Cheap beer, OK service. Nothing special, didn't eat there.
My favorite bar! Lots of games , always something to do or someone to talk to
Unfriendly staff that doesn't realize the benefit of live music or local support What a waste !
Dive bar! Perfect place to shot pool and tell dirty jokes ??
Classy place. Nice music. Fun games.
Good drinks, fun games/atmosphere, great staff
It reminded me of the bars near the university I attended: a place to get drunk with your friends.
Had a great time with some fantastic locals!!
No money ? no problem. No teeth ? no problem. Great dive bar.
Always a great place for a cold beer! :)
Good place to grab a beer and play some pool
awesome place to hang out, definitely will be back!
Great environment and the bartenders are so friendly.
Great pizza, chicken tenders and beer on tap!
Drinks, pool, and ping pong all at an affordable price
St Joe's best five star dive bar!
Live music best bartender and I work there
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
