Came to play In The Groove to think it was updated but it was the original game itself but it didnt work the way i expected it too. The game has changed a bunch and this machine lives wayyyyy to long in the past and needs an upgrade. It's very hard to step on the panels bc the screws are huge and round and you can get caught in them. The panels themselves are pretty deep and undersensitive. The panels also light up before pressing on them during a song and it should NOT be that way. Overall it's nice seeing

The arcade games are pretty fun but the prices aren't great, can't play for long on $20 per kid. Toddler area increased by double yet they took away some features, enclosure isn't secure either. Should be cleaner as well. Food is not good.

The place smelled musty, because the machines are old! Talk about feeling like a kid with my kid! Lol. But seriously, check this place out! It's so worth it, if you like old school pinball, arcade games from the 80s and 90s... And of course some newer more recognizable names if you're younger! Lol. My daughter is 3 and the bounce houses were awesome for her... It's three of them! I didn't get a chance to mini golf, but the course looked pretty big! I'm a 90s kid, so galaga and pinball were my favorite, but

They have a surprisingly diverse range of antique arcade games and pinball machines. They are seemingly well maintained because I've gone a few times and I haven't seen a single one out of order. The prices of the tokens are extremely affordable for how much you can do with even just $20. My only recommendation is to enter this place with an open mind, at first I was hesitant to explore further when I walked in. But if you just keep walking further, you'll see a lot of fun games more geared towards teenage

Although the building is dated, the birthday package was a great deal. Our kids had a blast and were also happy with pizza and cupcakes provided with the package. The staff was friendly and helpful. A great experience.

The pinball machines are consistently in poor to fair condition. It's frustrating to play knowing each game costs $1.25. Even the best pinball places I know with immaculate machines is a dollar per play. If you're a pinball enthusiast go elsewhere.

Walking in I did not think much of the place. But after seeing how much fun the kids had with every game and attraction, I'm excited to bring them back. Combine this with cheap, yet very edible food and you've got one heck of a spot to burn off some of your kiddo's energy.

Advertised as an amusement center is misleading as it really should be labeled an arcade center. It had a small place that little kids could play in, but was overrun with older kids. A walk through proved the selection of arcade games was above par and almost all were up and running. It looked like one employee in the entire venue and he was attending the food booth as the place was mostly self serve with an ATM that gave you game credits. We did not participate and found another play place.

Good place to go to with family. It's cheap and kids usually have lots of fun here. Different games for different ages. I don't usually eat here but they have some good snacks for Kids. They have a variety of arcade games, some work and some don't. This place does have a weird smell when you come in. But overall it's a cool place not so bad.

Retro arcade, still lots of fun. You put your money on a swipe card, and if you get tickets, you put those on the cards, too. Then the desk subtracts the tickets off the cards when you trade them in for prices. Very innovative, compared to Chuck E Cheese or All-star Adventures. They had an actual ball-pit, and put-put golf. A separate section for younger kids. The food was cheap and came in large portions. My kids and husband had a lot of fun, and there was a place to sit so I could read.

The hubby and I like to stop in for a few games of pinball when we're in the area and have some free time. It's never been busy in all the times I've been here. The bathroom has been pretty smelly for a couple years at least. The place is very outdated but I still love having somewhere to go to play pinball. I always wonder how this place has stayed in business... because it's usually almost empty when I visit. Maybe two or three other people but rarely more.

Awesome place to take your children they have many games to choose from and plenty of space to run around, me and the kids are fans of this place

Came here to play mini golf with the wife and was not expecting much but was suprised by the selection of arcade cabinets. I had a lot more fun than I expected to. We spent a good 3 hours having fun here.

I love this nostalgic arcade joint and so does my kid. We've been coming here for a few years. Nice and safe fun for all. Way better pizza than that mouse dude. Over all a better value too.

Food is good. Prices maybe a bit steep for the game cards. But at least it's clean and our Children enjoy it.

This place was horrible food burnt she mislead me about the deals and I or my 10 year old son was not able to sit in the area with the kids and monitored them as they played. Service rude it's loud. Need new MANAGEMENT

This is the favorite place for children, especially when the weather is harsh and you cannot go outside. There are a lot of games and you can buy ice cream and a lot of hot and delicious food at reasonable prices.

This place has so much potential to be a nice place to take your family. I recently moved here took my kids here and they love coming here until the fact of actually playing because most of the machines either half work or like the picture below obviously are un-winnable. I mean you might win 6 tickets per machine but they charge 500 tickets for a kids coloring book, come on. Then not to mention the fact that you have to wait close to 10 minutes just to purchase some old food a wrist band because the employ

I've been bringing my kids here for 14 yrs. Same damn place now as it was then. A timeless childhood memory.

A decent place to while away sometime. They have a huge collection of arcade games. I personally liked the hunting games/shooting games. They had a wide variety of pinball games to play. There was air hockey, mini golf and a small food place too. The only disappointment was that there was no laser tagging in the facility.

Purchased a party package and celebrated our son with friends. The place was clean, the games ran perfectly and the host was wonderful. The pizza was very good and everyone enjoyed themselves. Thank you to the employees for making our event flawless. Highly recommend Mega Play for all ages.

We had a bday party here It was our first time ever, being new to Mishawaka.Pizza was great. Kids had a great time. for 190 dollars we should get spoons forks (didn't receive any)and more plates than one per guess. Bathrooms are kind if creepy.

My kids enjoyed it. It wasn't the cleanest. Every activity costs more money, which is fine but it would be nice if equipment was better taken care of. Not all the games worked, and several times, we couldn't reload our playing card, which led to us leaving early. But, again the kids had fun despite leaving early.

We generally go to Chuck E Cheese a couple times a week, I figured we'd switch it up and try Mega Play today. I was SUPER disappointed. The place was gross, carpets were stained in random places, everything in the place is outdated, almost antique. It's the same as it was when I was a kid. Considering how outdated it was, the pricing is steep. When you walked on the carpets your shoes stuck to them. The restroom was dirty. We won't return. Chuck E Cheese is same price wise, updated and clean.

This arcade has tons of options and is super affordable! So many classic arcade options to choose from, and a few ways to earn tickets too. Haven't tried the mini golf but that's an option too. Also it wasn't super busy when we went on a Monday evening, which was nice.

Very old building, looked like an old skating rink. Lots of arcade games..total 80s-90s nostalgia vibe for me

Great family or kid spot with arcade, pool tables, air hockey, jousting, large toddler area for kids to play!!

Tons of Older and Newer arcade games & 12+ Pinballs playing well (11/23) Fun!

Me and my boyfriend love it here!! We go for cheap dates to play old games.

Their food is delicious ?? and their hot cocoa is nothing but perfection? But I don't care what people say there games and play place and mostly there bathroom ?? i sense something negative ish? I go for the food drinks and golf JSYK: aka just so you know: all the rocks are NOT safe.. I almost fell!!! But if the kids wanna have fun on a rock or two the last hole ??? there are two rocks the one closest to the way out when you're done golfing exit is the only one that's a little bit safer but still a litt

The playground that is shown on the website is no longer there. It's all bounce houses. The play area had some toys, but they no longer made the noises they were supposed to and were visibly dirty. It seemed dirty and not well maintained throughout the entire building. The games were semi confusing as to which currency you would use (ie a game card or actual tokens) and some even looked like they may not be able to be played due to the condition of the swipe machine for the game card.

Cheap entertainment for kids and adults. Affordable bounce houses and.. nostalgia

We had a lot of fun with our boys, 2 and 4- I'd give it a 5 star rating but the food wasn't the greatest (a bit stale) and the bathrooms and other facilities were rather dirty. Staff (aside from one older lady) was pleasant and helpful. We will likely come back again but it would be nice to see cleaner facilities. Great prices for the fun.

Very expensive, they charged my granddaughter $50 for additional 30minutes in the party room.

We attended a birthday party here at Mega Play for our Grandsons first birthday. We found it to be very clean and neat. There were many activities for toddlers to engage in. Our Grandson really enjoyed himself.

Tried going today a little after 1pm & they weren't open. Walked around Town & country for a while (2-2:30pm) & they still never opened, watched several people try to enter & walk away. No signs on the doors indicated it being shut down for a party or other reasons & phones are also going unanswered. Huge bummer if you're looking for a mini golf date.

Had a Karen follow me around and harass me and my child at my child?s birthday party here, over my child being ? too old for the bouncy houses? (he's 6). Staff did nothing, manager did nothing. Don't have your kids party here if I could rate it negative I would.

My 20 month old loves it here! So do I.

My granddaughters love to go there. One is 6 and the other one is 9. Every since my older granddaughter was 8 the owner said she she was getting to old for the area where there is a bounce house and tunnels to crawl, but they let teenage boys hang out in there with little kids. They told another lady the same thing. I think that is terrible. To the owner they are children!! What kind of business are you running turning down a 9 year old but letting 14 year old hand out in there

Love to come here with the kids. You get 100 tokens for 20 bucks each game is 1-4 tokens. It's a good cheap way to get the kids out of the house for a few hours. There's also a ball pit, bounce house, & play area for the kids and a 18 hole mini golf course.

This place is awful. A germ incubator. The toys for the little ones were filthy, and I mean physical dirt you can see with your own eyes. The women's bathroom was devastatingly disgusting. The toilet looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The faucet handle was broken. There was no soap. When I asked for soap, I was provided with a bar soap. This place really should be closed. I would never order food from here.

Updating my review from 2 stars to 1. We were literally in the middle of the kids playing games and they decided to just flip the breaker and literally turn all the lights off in the entire building. They didn't give us a5 minute warning that they were closing or anything. So, not only did we lose money and tickets but we now have two children who are upset. I completely forgot about the below review but after tonight this was a quick reminder of why I will NEVER step foot in here again! Went to reserve a

My daughter loves coming here. It's one of the few indoor places we have around the area. Unfortunately it's not well kept. The restrooms are never clean and the people making the food don't wear gloves or wash their hands .. Older kids get inside the ball pit and so do adults it's ridiculous but the employees usually stays on top of getting them out. Aside from that it's a okay place for little kids to play.

First timer here and I have to say I was mildly impressed. I'm not a big fan of the new card system all arcades are adapting. A few of the games would take the credits off the card and not let us play. Others wouldn't load our tickets on the card. Old school games will always be better. Anyways, the food was good and fairly priced. Definitely a good place to take the kids and kill some time.

Take my son here at least once a week he loves it

While we value the range of activities for kids, the interior needs work. There was dust all over, the fake plants were covered in it. The Toddler play area needs attention. A lot of the balls in the pit were visibly dirty. The carpet was covered in duct tape. The toys were old and dirty, they could stand an update. The whole vibe of the place seems stuck in the 90s. The bathrooms stank and didn't have liquid soap. We would come back if they cleaned and remodeled.

Management is great. Food is okay. The price is just right for a toddler to enjoy themselves for the afternoon. The only problem is, the place needs a remodel. Ball Pitt, mini golf, toddler toys. Everything needs to be dusted and checked for safety. There are a couple of toys in the toddler sections that need to be removed immediately! The toddler slide easily comes apart. I pray that one day this place gets the much needed update. If the city can spend thousands probably millions on Notre Dame and the apar

One of my favorite places to be in Mishawaka! Been coming to this arcade for 10+ years and it still entertains me to this day. Yes lots of people call it ?outdated? but that's what I like about it. This place has tons of classic AND newer games, mini golf course, a whole corner of pinball machines, and a toddler?s play area. Good, cheap snacks. Friendly staff to help you out. Only complaint is that the bathroom could really use a remodel last time I checked but never change a thing in the rest of the buildi

Slow service for ticket exchange slow all the way around usually. Games are fair priced tho a little out dated. Prizes suck very bad here very bad to the point kids don't even want them main reason it gets a 3 star prizes suck like when the kids aren't even excited for them you know it's bad and to top it all off they're way over priced prizes compared to any other arcade I've ever been to 250 tickets for weird die 5000 tickets for a one dollar teddy bear like really id rather deal with hectic and go to chu

Took my daughter here as I loved coming here as a kid. The video games are old school but updated with a modern swipe card system. Super cool and convenient. Biggest arcade in the area, I gotta come back and knock some more out. People keep saying there's a "smell". Its a super light old school electrical smell you get used to very fast. Will come back and tell everyone else bout the good times had! 10 STARS

Mega Play is flat out amusing. It's a dive. But my kids and I absolutely love coming here. So many arcade games, kid games and my special needs daughter loves the kiddie rides. The staff is always friendly and willing to help you out if a game stiffs you credits. I love the assortment of pinball games too. A fun place for a rainy day, and not bad for the price. They serve food too. A party atmosphere heavy on the nostalgia.

Could be a fun facility, however the bathrooms are terrible. The floor is sopping wet-appears the toilet is leaking. And the faucet is completely broken. You have to grab on to a little broken piece of metal to attempt to get the water flowing to wash your hands. Not to mention, the parents here who let their children run rampant acting unruly.

Been coming here since I was young with my dad. Great place, as the name suggests it's an arcade and the games are very fun. Only thing is they seem to never change (Or I've never noticed) any new games brought in. The Super Mario pinball is the main reason I come here along with the mini golf. Very entertaining place but I feel it's not a place I could come to every weekend.

No worth it in the opinion of my kids. They were bored as soon as we walked in. They begged to go and we're highly disappointed. Games are old, the game card doesn't seem to want to read in some machines that the kids wanted to play. They charge you a $1 just to get the game card. The only plus side to them is the padded jousting option and the fact they still have a ball pit some kids will enjoy. Keep in mind most other places got rid of the ball pit due to the germ factor and they are difficult to keep cl

We Only came for the kid play area, which was only $4 per kid and thru could play all day, if we let them. My kids are 4 and 7. My 7 year old was just under the height limit and still had a blast. Older kids would likely get bored after about 10 minutes. There are plenty of different things for the kids to play with including ride-ons, a teeter totter, a couple of toddler climbing things with small slides and many others. The 2 main attractions are the bounce house and the larger climbing area, much like a

If you're looking for arcade games this is the place to go. They even have some of the old school games like Street Fighter. And if you like Ninja Warrior they have a Battleground for you where you can get on your own stand and try to knock your opponent off with a huge padded button, there is some safety stuff first and you have to wear a padded helmet but it is so much fun. They also have birthday parties which is great. The place overall could use a little revamping but I do understand it's hard to keep

Took my 2 yr old daughter last Sunday (2/26) and I'm just saddened at how nasty it is there. So outdated, not cleaned, and rundown. They need a HUGE remodel and upgrade. The ?ball? pit is so nasty and broken there's hardly any balls in there and the ones that are in there are so dirty. The fake flowers and fake trees are coated in so much dust it's nasty. Sad that this is the ONLY place around here that has stuff like this for little kids.

Took the family here with the intention of spending an hour or so there and ended up there for 4+ hours. We all had so much fun. It's got such an old school vibe to it and so much to do. It's very cheap for being what it is in the time we live in that everything is outrageously expensive. Definitely coming back and I can't believe I forgot this place existed for so long.

this was the first time we had a party at a public place and it was amazing you guys are amazing definitely booking a party again here

Decently priced. Wish they had more food selection but the pretzel was delicious. The lady , maybe a manager or owner, was very nice. We spent a little over 2 hours here and still didn't use all of our credits and had a blast!! We will be returning:)

Pepperoni pizza is a must. Still good for kids birthday party?s. Plenty of good games that are a bit retro. Many pinball machines, couple pool tables and large working air hockey tables. We prefer this place over the newer arcade by movies 14.

Love going to this place with my wife. Really enjoy the fighting games and pinball machines.

We have 3 young boys in our family and they love mega play. We come here often and always have a good time. Kids are never disappointed and it's decently priced. Def a regular place we visit with the kiddos. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the manager is a very nice guy too.

My wife and I took our kids here recently as something fun to do on a Saturday. We have lived down the road from it for years, but never tried it. Now that we have, I wish we had done it sooner. The strip mall that it is located in is fairly old so it gives the place a little outdated feel when it comes to the decor. When you add the fact that they specialize in vintage video and pinball games and it's kind of a blast to the past. They use cards rather than tokens which takes some getting used to, but the

My son and I had a great time, they have the classic favorites and modern arcade machines, I liked the card thing for the games. Mini golf course was fun and challenging over all it made for a nice time out...

Me and my kids actually had a great time and we only spent 20$ and played for a few hours It wasn't bad at all I was really surprised how good it was. We even managed to win enough tickets to get both my daughyers a decent prize. A little sruffed animal and a little sequin purse not bad at all. Was alot cheaper than I expected. Staff was helpful and when I told them it was my first time there they made sure to tell me about eveeu9and how it workwd so I wasnt confused about anything It was really an overall

A retro, old school style arcade suitable for all ages and a play area for small children. Not much has changed since I was a kid, which brings about a sense of nostalgia for me, but could feel outdated to others. Overall, it's a solid arcade and always will be fun time alone, with friends, or your children.

First time at Mega Play and very thankful we found it. Fun and not overly priced family fun center. Lots to do and many fun things for the kids. The miniature golf course was fun and not to complicated for my 7 year old. They have a jousting arena and TONS of New and OLD arcade games. You can find just about any arcade game you can think of there. My boys (17 & 7) enjoyed themselves without breaking the bank =)

Worker was very delightful. Great place!

Classic Entertainment like this is hard to find. If you are a child of the 80s you will remember what it's like to go into an arcade. It's a very family-friendly environment and there's lots of games for kids to play. They also have a putt putt course. If you haven't been to a place like this I suggest you go.

Kid liked it. Personally thought the decor was a bit creepy. I'd give it a couple more stars if it was better maintained. Not clean felt bad having to tell my 3 year old he was not to use the ball pit.

Nostalgia punched me right in the gut!!! I love how the place is so original!! Staff is very friendly, place is always clean, the food is fantastic, the games are so much fun, and I am never disappointed with my visits! Very fun retro arcade for kids and young adults for all ages! So wishing I could go more often, this place will always recieve my business!

Nice family friendly place to take the kids for fun with arcade games and a very small putt putt course. Staff is always eager to help, unfortunately not all of the games are maintained very well. Some just take your money, others aren't even turned on at times.

Tons of arcade games, from racing to light gun, to a wide selection of pinball tables and air hockey. Doesn't get nearly enough foot traffic for all the place contains. Would make for an excellent kids birthday party location

We went during the week so that might have had a lot to do with it. They don't have many games that accept coins. You have to buy a card and add money to it. So to get 20 "tokens" on the card, it says it's $5 but you pay $6 instead (you pay for card). There were maybe 4 people the entire two hours we were there. But it was fun. Didn't try any of the food or drink offered. Has party options too.

Decent range of games, and a great selection of classes. Average pricing. Staff was kind. They have around 12 pinball tables.

Great staff, very friendly & helpful. There is lots of variety of games for all ages. We love that there are two pool tables. Very good value & we always have a great time.

Not clean AT ALL, parents use the play area as a daycare and don't watch their kids, workers don't say anything about big kids playing in the toddler area. Most of the games we tried to play didn't work correctly. 10/10 will never go back.

Prices for soda and ice cream weren't gouge-y. The arcade had the classics and some decent cool stuff. The bathrooms were nasty. The rest of the place seemed clean.

This place hasn't changed in 20 years. I don't think that's a good thing in this case either. It's cool that they give you 30 mins free on select machines, but then you venture out and play the others and run into issues. Machines not working, not registering tickets won, CHEAP payouts, and poor value for ticket redemption. We will be back for the free 30 mins. and to use the rest of the $20 bucks we out on the card, but I don't know that we will make a habit of it with better and more updated game rooms in

This place is very fun when you bring friends. It has a lot of old classic arcade games. The prices are cheap as well. Wish there was more games that gave tickets.

My family (5 of us) went to Mega Play, we had an absolute blast. We played video games, pinball, played pool and 18 holes of miniature golf. They have snacks, drinks, ice cream, pizza and sandwiches. We were there over four hours.

Lots of great classic arcade machines. Would like to see them update and fix some of the older cabinets though. Would not recommend their pizza as it was actually terrible and barely edible. The pizza sauce is really watery.

I had 100% the best experience at mega play!!! We had SUSAN as our party event planner and she was absolutely the best!! She was on everything everytime we asked for something she'd get it done. She was awesome! I've never in my life have had this kind of customer service but I left feeling 100% content with how it all went. When we got there she already had the tables set up cupcakes put out and everything ready to go. She was for sure a blessing to have for our party! For the prices you cannot beat them a

It is an ok place for arcade games and indoor mini-golf. Just watch out for the unsafe "kids" area with broken equipment and exposed wires. (more on this below) The arcade games are in good condition and feature a wide variety from the today back to the 1980's. They have all game genres and even a good selection of pinball machines. Games vary in price as you would expect based on the age and physical size of the machine. The kids area is supposed to be for kids about ages 0-7. The big playground area wit

Absolutely disgusting establishment. The toddler area is so gross. The ball pit balls are covered in a thick layer of grime. None of the toys are clean. ?? Disgusting.

I've always loved this place until today when they SCREWED me out of a 992 ticket jackpot on Spin to Win. Jason the "manager" said you have to win 5 in a row to get a jackpot and that it'll automatically add the tickets. The game clearly states you only need 3 in a row which I have video and pictures that I got 3. Also, I've won this game before here and other places and it is always a handpay jackpot. I went in circles with him and finally ran of energy. Plus my 5 year old son was with me for his birt

A great place to go when you are bored and nothing to do. They have a nice snack bar from pizza to ice cream. The place is starting to show it's age. The place is looking a little worn and outdated. But it is kept clean.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
