MBM Fun Center Arcade is a New London treasure! We love arcades - and Lindsay is the Queen of the Machines. Along with the modern games, there are rare antique and vintage games that we have not seen anywhere else. Lindsay?s arcade is an extraordinary time capsule - and somehow, she constantly maintains and keeps these fantastic games running, which is definitely a labor of love. We were looking for something to do on a rainy day, and are so glad we found this arcade. Tons of retro games and my kids had a blast. Miss Lindsay was so friendly and kind. Super patient with my.kids really helped turn around a fairly miserable day into something amazing. We will definitely be back! The games are retro but lots of fun - and Miss Lindsay was right on top of any issues - she was quick and on top of all the games!

My son just had an amazing birthday party here! Lindsay was so accommodating with our wild group! When there was an issue with a game, she was right on top of it! She's a Jill of all trades! This place is definitely worth the money to throw a party here! There are games for all ages and skill level.

Came June 16th for the car show and played some games. A lot were not working but there were some. Came in today, a week later on June 23, barely any games working. Didn't discover this until after getting 20 dollars of tokens. Multiple games stopped working as we played them, to which the employee just taped them off. Do not switch your cash to tokens until you check to see if any games are working. We ended up leaving and losing out on the money which was really disappointing. The teenage employee was n

Arcades are always fun but this one is just the best! Vintage and so much fun!! $20 lasted us so long! Kids had a BLAST!! Highly recommend!! Lindsay was so great! My kids favorite part of our summer trip!

It's a Time Capsule, we found this place by accident with my boyfriend and we end up playing for 3 hours straight. They have every kind of games, the staff was extra nice and if you have a problem they help you immediately. It's one of the best things I experienced in New London so far. +Plus: I won a Bonus in a game and that made me fall in love with this place even more. ++Doble Plus: the music they played was pretty good

I don't write google reviews but was compelled to after the hospitality and kindness Lindsay showed to me and my girlfriend. Having this been my first visit in the area, my girlfriend and I were exploring and came across the Arcade. We had such a fun time playing the coolest games and learned so much about the history of New London. Also, Lindsay gave us a bunch of local recommendations and ideas for activities.

Miss Lindsey was telling us about how her and her father own and operate the arcade and waterslide by Ocean Beach. She was so kind and generous genuinely. She's also great with kids! We brought my younger brothers (2 and 3) and they are generally very impatient but they loved her and listened very well to her requests. We had a great time!

I came here earlier today, and it was fun! It was like stepping into a video game museum!! Rarest Video Games can be found here, and the staff are so inviting and welcoming!!!!!

Best arcade I've visited in a long time. So nostalgic and great staff!

The price is great compared to other arcades. And a lot of retro games which I played as a child. However, 90% of the games were not working. Some were off completely or had tape covering the coin slot. It has the potential to be a great arcade, but they need to get all the machines running.

Ocean Beach arcade is such a gem. We started bringing our sons every few months, and we always have a blast! So many arcades are all digital, but it's so much more fun to use tokens and collect tickets at Ocean Beach. Maintaining so many machines is clearly a labor of love. Because many of the games are vintage, they sometimes have trouble, but Lindsay always goes above and beyond to help. She is great and so kind. The owner rules, seriously? she just kept popping out of nowhere to help fix any stuck coins or machine issues. Onex was the man, super friendly and was awesome with the kids, and us. My fianc? and I are from Ma and just in the area exploring new places and as two ?adults? in our 30?s, it was an awesome way to end the day. Weird games, some newer but mostly the old retro games like one should expect to find at a beach boardwalk in New England. But honestly the employees are what make this place.

Lindsay is so sweet. My girls had an amazing time! We thank you for welcoming us and for going above and beyond to make 2 little girls' day. There are so many games- you could play for hours.

This place is a hidden gem. While the interior looks a bit run down, they have a wide variety of arcade games, both old and new. Some of the games were a bit finicky, but Lindsay was great about assisting us and giving us tickets or coins for machines that were having issues. My boyfriend and I had a blast and enjoyed some great prizes to boot (check out my acrylic paint set!) We will definitely go back for another fun weekend outing.

My boys and I love the Ocean Beach Arcade. It's one of their favorite places to go. I also love the fact that they are open during the off season on the weekends. Such a fun way to spend some time. We also had my son's bday party there as well. The family owned staff could not be more friendly and helpful with everything. We highly recommend The Ocean Beach Arcade.

This is a hidden gem at Ocean Beach. Lots of golden age arcade cabinets and some newer games. Has a 1980?s Chucky Cheese vibe. Staff there are very nice and welcoming. One of few old style arcades left in CT.

There is no where else like this arcade! My kids and I fell in love the second we stepped foot inside. It has become our happy place weekend spot in the off season, and we just had my daughters birthday party there and it was a hit. Lindsey is the best!

Just a miserable adult child working there. Their games don't work and she will give you a nasty attitude and slam your bills down on the counter if you ask for a refund. Clearly hates her life. Edit to respond to owner: WOW!! What a change in attitude!! If this was the original response instead of being rude and childish, slamming our money on the counter, and if you were willing to actually help with the game that we requested help with, I would have left a happy customer. This place is a gem! Definitely recommend stopping by, there's so many games you could spend a couple of hours in here, easily. Lindsey was so welcoming, kind, and knowledgeable about all the best games!

Absolutely awesome place to have a party! It was affordable and Lindsey was so accommodating! I want to have every party here! They made it so easy and set up a huge table for us right in the arcade. If needed, we were able to come early to add extra decorations as needed. Everyone's goodie bags which Lindsey made, had extra tickets so everyone went home with prizes. There was plenty of time to play plenty of games. Loved it!

Family-owned place with good prices and excellent assortment of retro games. Nice location, nice people. Jake the dog is the Mayor of Ocean Beach IMO. So glad this place survived the pandemic! Skip the ill-maintained rip-off machines at Crystal Mall and the onslaught of overstimulation that is Dave and Busters and give this place a try. Go walk on the beach while your kids play games and everybody wins that way.

We just celebrated my son's 7th birthday at the arcade and it was awesome! There are so many games to choose from and all of the 14 kids in attendance had a blast (so did some of the parents!). Our host, Lindsay, was wonderful and helped out with anything we needed. If a game ate a kid's token, she was right there to make it right. She also was very attentive to any malfunctioning games or issues. We were able to bring in our own food for the party which really made it an affordable option for a kid's

This is a special place......There's so much nostalgia going on here for me. Plus I love spending my time and money at a family owed/ran business. And most importantly my children feel safe and happy and there's nothing better than that.....best .25cent you can spend nowadays!

I just went to my niece's birthday party here, and it was awesome. Kids and adults had a blast. The owner really went above and beyond for us. If a game got stuck she was right there to make it right. I will be going bake for some hoops or skeeball next time we go to Ocean Beach.

by the time we got to the front of the line to park we saw it was $20 just to park a car, no tickets or anything like that included. there is no website so we couldn't even see how expensive parking was or if there were enough interesting things to do to make it worth it. the parking lot had no way to turn out of the line without pulling into a neighboring house. i would not recommend taking the trip unless they make a way to obtain the information ahead of time.

Decent sized arcade, but it felt like there were more games out of order or not working properly than working ones. A little disappointing

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? What an unorganized mess. We drove over two hours, waited in a line for well over an hour to get to park at this beach and when we FINALLY got to the front of the line, the guy said "the beach is closed" and directed us to go a different way. HOW IS A BODY OF WATER THAT GOD MADE CLOSED? AND, WHY DON'T YOU HAVE SIGNS OR PEOPLE TELLING THAT TO ALL OF THE PEOPLE THAT WERE WAITING IN THAT LINE TO GET TO THE PARKING LOT. JUST ABSOLUTELY A WASTED DAY AND RIDICULOUS. VALUE PEOPLES TIME - DO

Most games just ate our tokens and didn't work. I complained and got some free tokens which is cool but the games should work in the first place.
