Max Funland

This location is a slightly smaller off shoot of the massive MAX Funland at 8th Avenue. It is still a pretty big place for these types of places that seems to be popping up all over NYC these days but usually those are much smaller than either of these MAX Funlands. The place is filled with a good variety of interactive arcades cabinets, vr machines, and claw machines for those seeking to try their luck at getting something to take home from the place. Best place to play arcade games locally. I live near here locally and I enjoyed playing the rhythm games at the 86th St location. There's this game where you have to press 4 buttons, 2 bottom buttons, and 2 knobs and enjoyed playing the game. I'm excited for them to bring in one of my favorite games where you step on four arrow panels.

Affordable games and you actually get to win prices! Claw games have good grip! Would definitely come back and recommend this for anyone interested in having fun!

MaxFunLand is a great place to have fun! It has a fun and friendly atmosphere that's perfect for kids, families, and friends. The location in Bensonhurst is super easy to get to, and there's lots to do inside. The staff is really nice and helpful. They make sure everything runs smoothly and that everyone is having a good time. The place is clean, safe, and full of fun games and activities. If you're looking for something fun to do or a cool spot for a party, MaxFunLand is a great choice!

Stumbled upon this gem and oh boy so glad we did. Such a fun time with our 10-year-old son. Unique games, unique prizes? We will definitely be coming back very soon!

claw machine are rigged and very hard to win especially bigger plushie ones. the small ones are fine and you can usually get 1 in about 2-3 tries. prices are high (about $2 per try). spent $60 and had only about 15 mins of fun, and left with disappointment. not going back ever again.

This place is a great size. There's many claw machines that varies. There's a lot of plushies that you can win and there is also a 6D cinema and a vr play place.

This was a really fun experience, bought my little brother here and he loved the claw machines! Much easier than most claw machines in other arcades. The setting is also really aesthetically pleasing.

It would be a nice place if they didn't rig the slot machines to make it harder to win. It's very difficult to win! The slot machines intentionally throw out toys, and you can spend money 10 times without any success.

Brought a group of 4 kids here and they all had fun. It is a little pricey, but my son, who's obsessed with claw machines did end up winning about 12 prizes! The place is really clean and all the staff were really nice and helpful.I'm glad we finally have a nice place in the neighborhood to take the kids.

Just went here recently and we have a lot of fun here, the claw machines are pretty easy to get prizes and the prizes are really adorable, the only problems is that the price for the credits on the arcade card is a bit pricey, the air quality is bad, and the price for each claw machine is a bit pricey, some claw machines (the big one) are either 11 tokens or 14 tokens. It's pretty good, I'd recommend getting the vip card since it's much better than the regular. And the VR games Insane. Whether you're fighting zombies, racing cars, or flying through space, the graphics are wild and the setups make you feel like you're in the game. Definitely one of the coolest parts of the arcade.

They have a lot of toys and very clean place. They even have labubu to win at a reasonable price! It's nice and cool and lots of kids come here to play. Friendly staff and overall good place to come to.

The place is new and the machines are new. Very fun with kids.

Go to Lucky Zone Arcade nearby instead. They are smaller but you can at least get the joy of winning. The crane machines here are rigged and so hard to win. They do have more variety of games at Max FunLand and it's bigger but you leave here feeling ripped off and frustrated instead, while at Lucky Zone you get the dopamine hits from winning plushies and the jack pot at the coin games (we won multiple times at the same visit).

Fun and enjoyable! They have a bunch of rhythm games (MaiMai, Sound Vortex, Chunthio, Wacca, Taiko, and a knock off of Dance Rush that's more enjoyable imo) that's hard to find elsewhere. The staff are very friendly and the environment is clean as well.

This area is very good and it offers a various amount of prizes! The prices here are very cheap, and the games aren't too hard either! I have won 2 plushies so far this arcade is so amazing!

The Arcade is a fantastic place it got all my favorite Rythum Games but the only problem is is that its been 4 days already and the MaiMai Finale game is still not working I wonder if its because of updating the game or someone damaged it on grand opening day but I dont know I also wonder if its only on during the night. But overall the store is great and its better since I don't have to go to Flushing Queens alot of times for rythum games. I hope they fix the machine soon

Sold me fake crybaby plush merchandise. The cashier did not tell me it was fake. The box was opened and then taped close so that the customer wouldn't notice until after they have already purchased the item. The plastic bag inside was also resealed. The product inside is a horrible duplicate of the actual product. Someone at the store probably bought the real crybaby series for themselves and then decided to be a scammer to sell fake merch disguised as real ones to recuperate some money.

Its really nice and we had fun playing, we even won a couple if prizes but it is a little expensive maybe to some not worth it. However its nice to try it out.

Rating this as a arcade enthusiast who has been to arcades all over the country. Their game selection is overall.. not the best. A lot of the games they have are knock off versions of already existing games. Along with their claw machines being horrendous with them being set to the weakest setting. They do have a bathroom which is a plus. But overall my experience was very ?meh? to say the least. The only few mainstream games they have like initial d 8 are offline, so you can't even connect to your account

Max Funland has expanded to another location and it's looking great. Though Taiko machines across the board have not been doing well, they have a wealth of other games at this location, with Drummania and a upcoming SDVX being my prime eye looks right now. Unfortunately this location uses a DIFFERENT card system from 8th Avenue, but the prices are still the same and honestly it it's worth switching when you get the chance to, as I'm told 86th will be where they cater towards the arcade side more.
