Abby at the front desk was amazing. Her service was quick and she was very nice! She was packed but she was kind and was amazing at what she was doing! Definitely praise her for her work.

We love Max Bowl, Port Arthur, Texas! The Birthday Party for my Daughter went amazing! Shawn and Carla made our party the best ever! They are Highly organized, willing to accommodate all party wants/needs, fun while still being professional! We also enjoy bowling weekly at this location! This place is really fun for a family outing! The helper Sean really went above and beyond with helping us make sure my daughter had the correct ball. We ended up trying 3 balls to make sure she could find a ball she could use. Finally, he went on a hunt to find a good size 6 for her. He was so helpful and friendly the whole time. I wasn't impressed with our experience. $50 for a single hour of bowling is way too high. Especially when the lane breaks twice: balls won't return, stuck and won't put pins down. Food is awful. The honey mustard for the pretzels was spoiled, Sierra Mist was sour and had a bad carbonation/syrup mix, cheese bites were fried too hard. Last at the front desk was very nice. Bowling was fine but don't even try to waste your money in the arcade. $22 down the drain because about 10% of the games actually work. The rest are either off or the card reader isn't operating. No help from staff or management. Even the prices aren't listed right in the prize cabinet so IF you are lucky enough to get some points to spend don't expect to have the same value when it comes time to spend them.. an absolute shame that the next best option is Tilt in Beaumont and even that is horrible/non-opera

We received gift cards in the sum of $200 for Mac Bowl and was told we could use it at Max Bowl (Excluding Pin & Tonic). We attempted to use the gift card for bowling and was denied to use the card. Once we paid for an hour of bowling, we realized that the back stated that we could use it for bowling, arcade and attractions. Maddie was working the front counter and she was amazing. I needed her help several times and she was always attentive and a pleasure to deal with. I hope she's working the counter every time I play. Sean (Shaun? I didn't get the spelling) killed it too. He's been working there as long as ive been going there and he's always respectful, helpful and friendly. I've been working at this facility for almost two years. I started with full enthusiasm, willing to do anything since it was my first job. Over time, the place and management started to get out of hand. With a new manager and her kids coming into the workplace. I was the only one who knew how to fix games, troubleshoot laser tag, work the front desk when the girl took frequent breaks, host parties, count inventory, and translate. Despite all of this, I was stuck making $9.00 an hour. I was promised a raise

Love love love this place. Great for family get togethers, birthdays or even just a night out with your spouse. Very clean and respectful energy. Great food service great environment. Just all around a comfortable place to bring your kids with plenty of things for them to do. Can't wait till they start the karaoke nights

Every time I go the Max Bowl I have such a great time. The staff is amazing and very nice. Every time there was a problem with our lanes they would fix it almost immediately. I genuinely love coming here, the bar staff is pretty quick with drinks even when it's packed and the pizza is pretty good in my opinion.

This place is awsome. Me and my husband both had to do a review!! I give it 10 stars if I could. My experience was great with the help of SHAUN. His customer service skills are EXCELLENT!! He almost made us feel like we were FAMLIY .. we traveled from Houston Texas to this location and it was worth every BUCK! .. Shaun recommended good food and drinks. Everything was prefect. My family will never forget this experience.. I'm thinking about moving to PA .. everyone was NICE.

Savannah and Amber always take excellent care of us. We always look forward to coming into Max Bowl multiple times a week. New management is always making sure the center runs smoothly as well. All the employees are friendly and are always willing to take care of us.

SCAM ALERT!!!! We had $100 in gift cards that say can be used for all activities in the place. I was told the cards are only usable for video games due to the fact the reader is down. I asked how long the reader was down and was told months. So they sell gift cards and remove the reader to force you to spend the money on Chinese crap you get from tickets. So I recommend going to Main Event. Seems like a scam. It should not take months to fix a card scanner. After I posted this, I read in the reviews a lady

I've gone multiple times for hosted events or even just for fun. The people there were super nice and were great with helping me with bumpers and the kids ball roller for my nephew. Service was overall great!

I have been to many family bowling alley?s and this by far was the best time me and my family had in LONG time!!! SHAUN went above and beyond and is a wonderful asset to Max Bowl. He was so professional friendly and available!! He never missed a beat!!! I definitely will be returning and asking for him EVERY TIME!!!!

The several occasions I've gone to max bowl it's been nothing but amazing experiences and especially the staff. Always coming to me and asking if I'm good and checking up on me. They are very friendly and attentive, they know their clients on a first name basis. I don't go to any other bar but this one!!!

Bowling Has a nice area however the Arcade games Don't give enough tickets and you have to spend too much money on the games.And the restaurant food is way too high And staff could be way more friendlier

This Bowling Alley gotten a whole lot better over the past few years. Great food, nice lanes, and a decent arcade room. Also the customer service is great! Shaun White always makes you feel like part of the Max Bowl Family. He goes out of his way to make everything right! 100% Recommended!

Max Bowl is the best place for family fun in Port Arthur. The center is clean and the staff is friendly. The bartender Savannah always does an excellent job and the new manager Carla is doing an excellent job running the center. And the cooks are always sending out delicious food! 10/10 recommend.

Savannah makes our league nights with her fast service. She knows what we want and usually has it ready before we even approach the bar. We also love Carla the new manager.

Max Bowl is the place to be for all the local fun! Every department does their job very well! Savannahs is always taking care of us on league nights. Carla always makes sure everything is running like it's supposed to. Sarah is back and our favorite server. Everyone treats every guest like family.

The bartenders Savannah and Amber always takes care of us. The beers are always cold and the service is always spot on. The new manager is also doing a wonderful job by constantly improving what she can.

I've been going to maxbowl for the past couple years, and this past year I continue to be blown away by the service and great cooking ability from Kassidy Porter. I went to go to talk to her and she had a big smile on her face! And for the bar Savannah is very helpful and I had a Long Island Ice Tea from her and it was great. Would highly recommend going to Max Bowl for the max amount of fun and great service!

Terrible place to come, we were playing and they threw away almost the entire meal without asking us, there were other people and I don't see why they threw it away, is it disrespectful or is it a question of racism, it is supposed that if we had a specific time to eat they should have said it at the time we ordered the food because we came to play not just sit looking for the food but what terrible treatment and they even laugh in your face I do not think I will ever come back to this place, I do not recom

The young man Shaun help me very much , I was lost and couldn't find my bowling lane. He took his time out to walk me there . And he also brought me a glass of water. I was so parched. I recently brought my family down to Max Bowl, including my 3 grandkids age 2-7. Not only was the staff there fast friendly and efficient but when it came to my wild and enthusiastic grandson (the 2 yr old) one of the managers Carla played with him and walked with him herself, that way his sisters didn't miss out on any fun. I would recommend Max bowl in Port Arthur tx to anyone looking for a great family outing!

This place is terrible they are very disrespectful, very immature, they tried to start a fight between me and my family. The place is just a bad environment for kids as well.

Nephew had a birthday party there. They bowled, played laser tag and arcade games. They had a good time. It was daylight. I know there have been issues in that area at night in the past with unruly teens, don't know if that is still the case. I would stay away after dark, to be safe.

Was there this past saturday and i had an awful experience. we waited in line for what felt like 30 minutes before we were acknowledged. she barked at us what we wanted and weren't given much time to look at the bar menu, we felt rushed and each ordered something that sounded decent. both drinks tasted awful, like cough medicine and rubbing alcohol. when we asked for new drinks she said that she ?was the bar manager and we don't remake drinks you'll have to purchase another? she

Just visited this spot for the first time. Went for a double date with my wife and a couple friends of ours. The friends invited us so we really didn't know much about the place.
