I recently had the opportunity to spend a while in Matte. And I must say it's a great place! I won several plushies and the experience was incredible. The place offers a lot of variety and unique Pokemon specially for my older kid. And special mention for the warm attention. My two kids love it! For sure I'll come again very soon!

I just want to say that no arcade place ever refund tokens so the previous reviews don't make sense. So buy whatever amount of coins you are ok with parting with. Great place. I won 6 small plushies and gave 1 to a kid. For $20 you get 25 tokens and can pay with credit card. You can win a small plush within 3-4 tries. So, I been wanting to try this place. And I wanted to see the playability and the payout of their place. It was so fun. The staff was really great and accommodating. I was there for not too long but it was fun!!

1 stars. It's a scam because whenever I get the plush perfectly the machine shakes and the plush falls down and I wasted 10$ and it's scam because the plush will always fall down. I do not recommend this place at all

Cheaper than the other places I went. I spent $20 on other places got 0 plush cause the small crane was 2 coin and the big is 3 but here is small crane 1 and big 2. Spent $20 got 25 coin got 2 big plush and 9 small! Very easy to get prize!

I've been to several claw machines all around New York City and I have to say this one is my favorite. The smaller claw machines are fun and I won several times unlike the other places I've visited. The prices are the best I've seen, some machines are 1 token or 2 which is phenomenal, unlike the 4 token or 6 token machines in other places.

Scam. We played 3 different machines and it grabs your prize and drops it right back; doesn't even move most of the time. At a dollar per play for the smallest prize, it's not worth the gamble. Might as well buy one of the plushies they have on sale

Just went there today. Will admit I loved that they had token claw machines which you don't see much of any more in all claw machine arcade. Pay $20 got exact amount of tokens for the $ payed, employees were kind enough to allow me to take photos of the place because that was my first time there. I visited this place twice because I work nearby and I must say most of the claw machines are rigged by the owner. I also noticed most of the reviews are from employees of the store which isn't fair to the customers. I have visited over 160 arcades all around the United States. This place is by far the most RIGGED arcade in NEW YORK. Most of these reviews are written by employees of the arcade aka the woman who stands in front. They have friends and family taking photos as if they won prizes from there but they didnt win anything. Owner does not give refunds on tokens they sell and will lie to you and say you can get a refund after you put your money in the machine all they do is point to a hidden sign saying no cash refunds!!
