Ryan is a great host. Putt-putt golf, classic video games, and new pinball machines - John Wick and D&D. Pinball tournament - 4/19/25. Adult and kid sodas, too. Snacks?Chill spot, inexpensive, and rental if hosting a party. Definitely will return (check hrs). Downtown Martinez.
We really enjoyed the experience here. It's nice to have another place to go and do something with the whole family. The owners are very nice. It's a small space, but they have done a nice job of filling it in with inventive putting greens. They also have a few video games for the kiddos (and adults) to enjoy! Some snacks and beverages are also for sale at very reasonable prices. I have a couple of scores to settle with certain holes, so we will be back!
Fun hole in the wall (or floors to be exact). The putt-putt isn't pretentious and doesn't pretend to be, it's not for the mini golf pros. Be willing to accept home made quirks. Good family fun but I went with adults and drank and it was great. The owner was behind the bar and made sure everyone had a good time. Very chill spot.
I like to support small local businesses, but I can't give this place more than 3 stars for a few reasons. 1- there are only 17 holes and 4 of those are mini games and not actual mini golf holes 2- it's very cramped, and the first few holes you have to practically lean against the wall to putt 3- the starting pads are not fixed to the ground so they get moved around a lot 4- price isn't worth it imo. The arcade is cool, and the bar is legit, but ironically I wouldn't recommend it if you come for mini golf.
First timer there!! It was a nice lil hole in the wall. Good people cool vibes
This place is rad! We strolled in while meandering after some good food downtown, it's a little unassuming when you first walk in, my wife was unimpressed, but we bought a game of golf and a couple beers and we had SO MUCH FUN! The golf course is a little goofy, but very much fun, their take on putt putt is great, there are interactive holes that aren't traditional but very fun, then we sat and chatted up the owner for a while and he is a very nice man, we played a couple games of basketball and had a bl
This place was so awesome, and owned and operated by a nice family! I wish I took more photos, but I really enjoyed and recommend this indoor mini golf, the only one of it's kind in this county! Even if you're not a golfer, you'll have a blast, cause I sure did. Can't wait to go back in a few weeks!
My parents were in town and we were looking for something different to do indoors. This was a great place to have lots of fun and share tons of laughs. The owners were super friendly and the course was awesome!
Great experience! Fun and creative holes, clean bathrooms, cool basketball arcade game. Can't wait for our next competitive family fun day/night at this place!
Great place to relax with or without the kids. The owner is incredibly kind and the vibes are great. Great place to host a party too! Definitely come
Had the best time at this mini golf course. They also have drinks which is always a bonus. My three year old daughter had a great time too. Coming back again for sure.
My friends and I just celebrated my birthday at Marteenez Mini Golf; it is such a fun place to relax and have some laughs! The course is just challenging enough but how serious you take it is entirely up to you! The owners are very welcoming and friendly! Location is easy to get to from Main St but worth the drive if you live anywhere else!!
This place is fantastic!!! My husband and I went to play a round of mini golf for our date night after having a beer at del cielo brewing next door. We walked in and we immediately greeted by the owners, got our putters and a bag of fresh popcorn to snack on and started our round. All the hole?s are so unique and well put together. After we finished playing golf we played a few games of pop a shot basketball and pac man to end the night. It was a perfect date night that didn't break the bank at $10 a person
Great little place! We just found out it existed and my 10 year old and I had so much fun today here! The owner was super nice and it's a family-friendly place; we will be back soon! ??
We loved it! Not only it's fun, but everything was handmade by the owners!!!, who are really nice btw. ?? That gives the place a lot of charisma. We definitely recommend this lovely place!
A lot of fun for the kids. Decent beer selection for the dads. I recommend
great atmosphere, very relaxed.
Had a great time with my 10-year. Fun environment, good vibes and they serve beer.
This is a great little place to have a small group birthday party. Staff was very nice.
Excellent! Fun! Good value.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
