Update June 10, 2024 love the new air hockey table they have. Love the lemon pepper wings as well. It's a good place for family fun. The food is pretty good, especially the pizza, but not a lot of options to choose from. The bathroom is very clean. Employees are very nice. They need to fix the air hockey table because it's broken,

Excellent place to spend time with family and have a blast. I'm really digging how they upgraded the floors and added different games to the screen while

The reservation process is consistently inefficient, with unnecessary upselling and unclear policies. The older woman in charge up front ensures requests are met with a condescending attitude, making the experience frustrating rather than helpful. Clearer communication, upfront policies, and a more customer-friendly approach would greatly improve the experience.

Website says they close at 10pm on a SATURDAY. Pulled up and they closed at 6pm. Crazy work seeing as we're on a military base with lots of single soldiers who would LOVE something to do on a Saturday evening. Atleast update your website so y?all don't waste peoples time.

Fun place! Open to the public. Get a visitor pass at gate #1. Food is great too

Always love bowling on base! Kept clean, neat and orderly!

Had a fun afternoon watching my grandkids bowl. Food was very good too.

This place closes whenever they feel like it! 6pm on a Saturday when website says 10pm. I read reviews before coming and I wish I listened.

It was a fun time with family and friends however I did want a bit more diversity in music. The staff was ok not bad but not great.

I had a blast with my daughter and on Thursday and Sunday it's penny a point games

I'm not much of a bowler but I went to a BOSS event here. It was fun for the most part. Staff was cool. Pizza was so so. Drinks were good. Bathroom was meh.

A great place for some indoor games and bowling. Quality family time!

Price were good for that day, special $10 per person for 3 games. Floors were pretty dirty. Regular fountain drinks $2.50?? requested for the rails to be raised and they were broken. We were switched to another lane eventually, but we had to request the change three times.

We arrived at 5 and were informed that closed at 6. We wanted to play one game. The staff tried to talk us out as it was close to closing and wasted about 10 min in explaining the early closure. Had we had those 10 min we would have finished. However we were on the 9th and they kicked us out a couple minutes before 6. Could have been a much nicer visit.

Very kid friendly! Went for my daughters birthday!!

It's clean, nice staff, GREAT FOOD AND DRINKS

Great service very nice and clean. Good prices and deals. The food was good as well.

Great past time for winding down and having fun, along with pizza and beer

Took a group of special needs and most bought lunch there. Those workers were on it. Food was good, service was great and prices were well valued. Thanks to the staff

Quick and easy service. Foods great at a great cost.

Fun place. Food is bar fare. Prices for food and alcohol high by any standards. For the price, pizza is amazing. Good family fun though. Bumpers work on most lanes but I'd make sure and me too you need them before you get one if it's important.

We just finished our second birthday party and we are so pleased!! The staff was amazing! They were super helpful. They made sure we had everything we needed. We will definitely recommend this to other Families! Thank you so much ??

My daughter and her friends went here to hang out for a Saturday. The teens had a good time and got food as well. Overall the cost to bowl is not very expensive especially if you book time instead of games. The food is pretty good for bowling alley fare but it is also a little on the high side. Overall this is a good family friendly place to spend a afternoon or weekend with family and friends.

Worst bowling alley I've ever been to on a base, they told my wife (who doesn't bowl at all, she could not have the bumpers on because she's an adult...? Why does that even matter. She'll go into the gutter without them. Also we paid for two games, halfway through our first one they said we can't play anymore because our son was playing on our lane and we didn't buy Him a game...? He's 5 also Bowling alleys like Fort Hood & Fort Sill does not matter how many bowlers there are, if you buy a game there can be

Good place to hang out and bowl. Lanes are well maintained, staff is fun and friendly. Food on the other hand has a B rating which recently changed around the beginning of the year from a C. This makes me nervous. Especially given the fact that this is on post. I feel like you military families should have THE best when it comes to things like this. Not saying you guys should have 5 star chef's but even Chick-fil-A has perfect 100 rating and all they make is fries and chicken

It's an old building so it's not the most cleanest place I've been but for the great price to bowl and the food you can't go wrong. Food was really tasty. The balls seamed greasy. The arcade sucked because nothing but one game worked. The staff was awesome, the nicest and most helpful people. Awesome place for family fun.

Today we celebrated my daughter's 5th birthday party at Marne Lanes. The experience we had here was absolutely amazing. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Ronnie was absolutely wonderful and made our day so much easier. Thank you so much to all of the staff for being so kind and helpful, my daughter had an amazing birthday party.

Only place to do something on a stay home day. Nothing out of the ordinary. The lanes do no have glow in the dark. Very minimal arcade machines. Air hockey has been broken the two years and a half we have been here. Food is good and prices are great. The experience overall is ok if you are looking to do something without leaving base. I'll rather leave base and try anything else besides this

First time here at the bowl alley. Did a date night. Lanes were pretty well maintained and selection of house balls were plenty ranging from 8lbs to 15lbs with different size finger holes. Food options range from your hamburger to pizza. We had the pizza, which I think I will be ordering from there instead of the big name places. Alcohol is served here as well. Drink responsibility folks. Good prices for the game as you can choose to pay by game or hour. Over all great place hang out and fun..

We had our son's birthday party there and was told they refill pitchers and etc .They never once came to our group,we had to make multiple trips ourselves .The bumper lane for one, they took their time setting up and it kept going down. Lost time on a lane because it got jammed and we ended up cleaning our area before leaving . I feel it wasn't worth the money we spent . My best experience was on the phone setting up the date and time. Oh and for the pizzas that came with it, we had to wait for it and carry

Marnes was cool. Our pizza was pretty good. The wings were actually really good. Everything was cool. It was a basic bowling alley. The bathrooms were clean when we went as well. We would go again.

We had a birthday party for my granddaughter and everything was great. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the facility was clean and well maintained. An excellent experience.

This is a small but very nice bowling alley on post. I was very impressed with the pizza that the cook Colin made. He brought it out to us personally and was very friendly and outgoing. The menu has a large variety of items to choose from. The bowling lanes even have ways for little children to play so that they do not get gutter balls. Definitely a great place to go.

Great place to bring your Troops.

It's OK for being the only social place on post. The air hockey machine has been broken for the 2.5 year I have been here. I always lose money on the machine. The lanes are normal. I have never seen glow in the dark bowling like most other bowling alley. The fast food they served is good. Prices are OK. It does look like it needs a overhaul.

Great food, Penny a pin is a good inexpensive afternoon with kids

Rates, food and the lanes themselves were great. However I almost killed myself on the approach. Three of my first five frames I fell because the approach wouldn't allow me to slide in proper form. Probably not coming back.

Great staff. Very clean. Food and beverage prices are very reasonable.

It was a lot of fun and they do have some great deals. They have a little grill you can order food from and the soda machines are self serve. They also have a nice little arcade for when you want a break from bowling. It's definitely a place I recommend for family fun or even alone time.

Decent place. Got a philly sandwich which melted into the container every time. Pretty sure it's cheap bread. But good on the price.

The prices to bowl were really reasonable. Wouldn't cost an arm and a leg to bring a family here. Enjoyed free bowling on Tuesday for E4 and below. Snack bar seemed to take a while. Only 2 ladies there and one seemed to be getting agitated with the other. Not really something I want to see.

The kids had a good time, bowling with their Dad.

I give it a four star because I have not been on Fort Stewart for 41 years now. How four decades catches up to a man. I used to go down to the lanes and bowl a game occasionally during lunch, grab a burger and a drink and fries. I did not have a car back then and where the barracks was located, this place was well within walking distance. I am not certain if Marnes is even in the same general area. Many days have gone by and for anyone who reads this post, your time is gonna pass too, one day at a time. Sh

The bowling alley was super fun We went for my daughter's birthday and although they had a blast bowling unfortunately the food I got a pizza and it was super salty, and the nachos were super greasy other than that bowling alley for the win

Prices were very good. I've worked at another bowling alley and I know black light/cosmic bowling Is a hassle but it would've been cool. Someone I was with asked about it and they gave a vague answer. So now we have no clue when yall have it. We came in from out of town for other things but when we come back would've been nice to know when specifically they have it

Beer was horrible left a bad after taste in my mouth, seems like they dont clean the taps. Got some mozzarella sticks and they had that freezer burn taste to them and were harder than the damn bowling balls, I ended up bowling with the mozzarella sticks cause they were more round than the balls they had there. None of the arcade games work and haven't worked for months. You get what you pay for I guess. Customer service was great reason why I gave this place one star.

Awesome place, great family environment and friendly staff. Never have any problems when I go here.

it's not Fort Bliss but, it wasn't bad. The game screens and lanes stations were a bit dated. Staff was cool and the overall Alley was clean.

I would give it more stars if i could. Absolutely love it every time I go. The lanes are good quality, the food is great, the bowling is well priced, and game room/ arcade is always fun. Couldn't be more pleased!

Great, Affordable and Family Friendly. This place is as great as it was ten years ago when my mom and Dad took me here to bowl.

Ok. I have mixed feelings towards this establishment. Tonight, I went to their alley, and wanted to purchase a pizza deal, their special, which was some pizza, and bowling. However, they ran out of pizza? On the day where you could rake in large profits, and you run out of the main part of it? Then, I purchased 2 lanes, an hour each, and was only given 30 minutes. The employess did fix the issue though. Other then the inconveniences, it was ok. Wide variety of balls, good shoes, and clean lanes.

Good place to kill time while on post. The lanes are great but two times in a row we had to move lanes because ours didn't work. The food was great as well.

I had the honor of being one of the Liberty county bus drivers to take the special needs kids to the bowling alley today. They had an awesome time. What a joy to see how excited they were.

Food: Amazing but the guy taking our order was giving us the "IMMA KILL YOU" look. Overall it was AMAZING I had so much fun and it was so clean(bathrooms).

We had a great time at the Marnes Lanes. If I had one complaint that is the employees don't know what deals are running to help customers to save money and possibly want to come back. The day that my family and I went bowling we asked about any deals or specials being run for that day. They told us $2.50 per game and shoe rental so that's $10 per game we played for a family of 4. We decided on 3 games. We went to the snack bar to order food because we would be there for about 2 hours and when we ordere

I had the worst experience I've ever had at a bowling alley at this place. The air was broken and we were bowling in front of the kitchen. They took the only fan we had. And when we complained they said "blame the government, they're in charge of this place". Are you kidding me??? All out balls have gouges from the ball return and they said "oh those are just scratches". Bc scratches are better?? I'm just glad I don't have to come back here ever again. Not a good representation of the army base.

Very friendly. Clean and of high quality. The pizza wasn't as good as I would of liked however the chili fries were very delicious.

First time I ever visited this establishment I stood there for 15 minutes waiting to And get a lane and some shoes. The second time I went they told me that they weren't going to have any lanes available even though the whole place was empty. It also appears to me that they open and close whenever they feel like it we have gone a few times before closing and it had already been closed.

Have been very disappointed today. Have spent 25 minutes in line with no one in front of me waiting to get rental shoes and a lane. This is not the first time having issues with the staff. Wish there was competing lanes near by to inspire them or give me a better place to bowl.

Very sad. Terrible experience. We didn't even get to bowl. Stood at the front desk to purchase shoes and rent a lane; waited five minutes and still wasn't acknowledged. Mind you it's monday and there was one group of probably five... meaning the bowling alley was empty. Also staff was in the office (door open) 3 feet away. I've never been so disappointed in my life.

We come as often as we can. Family friendly, the kids love coming here! The food is good for a bowling alley. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Can't wait to be back!

Haven't been bowling in years, grandchildren were visiting we really had a good time. Got snacks and drinks. Everything was clean and reasonably priced staff was friendly plenty of parking plenty of lanes.

I come here quite often not the best bowling alley out there but it gets the job done. Usually isn't too packed. The food at the snack bar is decent although they some times take quite some time.

Step son is in the Army at Ft. Stewart and took us bowling when we visited him for a promotion ceremony on base. Great, clean place with a wonder Pin and Pop pizza special to go with the bowling experience.

Staff has always been nice, decent food and beverage selection also. There are pool tables and a few arcade games also.

Always enjoy going to Marne Lanes. I ended going at least once a week. The customer service is excellent, food is pretty good, and I enjoy bowling (not the best, but not the worst either) ??

Birthday party destination , from 3 year olds to 7 yr old, everyone had a blast ! Very accommodating staff on duty to help behind the scenes !

They have upgraded the inside looks good. Still a great place to get some good food and have some fun bowling.

Decent prices. Philly sub and pizza were good. Friendly staff.

So much fun! Exceptionally clean and well organized staff!

We had an amazing time at Marne Lanes bowling with our grandsons the price was right, the atmosphere was fun and the staff were perfect. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Not bad I have been to many other lanes on Army Post this is ok. Lanes are good food is decent. Laser Lights need much improvement

Great prices and great customer service. The lanes are also really well maintained and allow you some awesome creativity when bowing

Excellent place to bowl great pizzas yeah I really enjoyed it the only problem the lanes are a little wet so you have to adjust.

This bowling alley has been around ever since I was a child! Always have been a great place to have fun family and bonding. Love this place dearly. And the burgers and the pizza is awesome

Enjoyed the bowling lanes were polished, the restrooms were clean, children friendly, the food was awesome, staff was nice and polite.

Awesome place to bowl. The food is also very good and the staff are very nice. A fun place for family and friends...

Great place to take a family or group for a cheap but fun outing.

Nice little spot. Cafe are was unclean and unkept. The lanes were good. Could use an upgrade.

Nice staff and not crowded and clean

Perfect place to spend some quality time with family and friends. Good prices and a delicious ??

I go here during lunch and there is usually always some group in there enjoying a game. The food is pretty good for a bowling alley and they are fast but through.

It is what is expected at an Army post. Lanes were freshly oiled when I started bowling. Price is phenomenal as well. Can't beat it.

Not bad Place, had to wait to get service, left over trash and cups where they set us up but to bowl pretty fun!

Can be a bit over crowded at times, but the people and lanes are great. Highly recommended, great hangout spot.

Very nice staff. Had a party and they held the cake and ice cream for me in their fridge and freezer.????

Employees were nice but we had to bowl next to a roudy group even though the place was empty

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
