Such an amazing Arcade, my kids won over 50,000 tickets (each) in a matter of 2 hours. Their prizes are SOOOOOOOO good. They won several jackpots which was super exciting for all of us. Love the nostalgic feeling, can remember when I was a kid how it looked, smelled, etc. Speedball, crane games, they played the crane games and won over 8 reversible happy/sad octopuses ??
Was here over the weekend with the kids. Had an excellent time for the two hours we were here. Facility was very clean and plenty of staff on hand to help with any issues. This is still the off-season but had just as fun still if it was in season. Double check the hours if you do decide to go in the off-season because they are different then when in-season. Nailed the Monster Drop Jackpot which was over 4,000 tickets! #marinersarcade
They have a lot of cards such as baseball cards baseball cards that are very hard to find and are graded but you will spend a million dollars trying to get enough coins to purchase it other than that it's a great place to bring the kids we come here every year and bring them to the same hotel, so we know everybody from the owner to the women that clean the rooms in the morning. Highly recommend, the Meyer family!!
Arcade was fun... Disappointed that they had so many machines filled with the same stuffed animals. (We don't need 6 machines with the same octopus.) Hoping it improves once the season picks up. There are dividers on the games and it was clean.
Who doesn't love to have fun? Mariners Arcade is a great place to have fun. We make it a point to visit at least once every time we come to Wildwood. Collecting tickets to win prizes is a blast. It has traditional arcade video games, skee ball, crane/claw and other machines. Definitely worth a visit.
A fun experience for the whole family: Skeeball and other chance games where you can rack up points to spend on prizes.
Great arcade with opportunity to earn LOTS of tickets. A wide variety of prizes to choose from. Many games to appeal to all ages. Highly recommend for a fun time.
Many wonderful memories from the last 25+ years with our children and grandchildren. ??
Went here last weekend and we had a blast. The place is clean, the games are all in working order and the staff is super friendly. The manager - I don't think I ever got his name - even gave us some advice on where to grab dinner since we'd never been to Wildwood before. One thing that we really enjoyed was the pricing on the games. I could burn through $200 at that OTHER chain arcade place in a couple hours, but the games at Mariners are so cheap you could play for a whole weekend with that. We'll definite
Fun time and very professional and well staffed. Not hard to get a problem with a game taken care of quickly
Typical boardwalk game arcade. We had a lot of fun. Kids had a blast. Prizes are incredibly expensive. A $12 lego is 30,000 tickets/points.
The best on the boardwalk! Plenty of games for everyone, always clean with great views of the boardwalk. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The games are kept in top shape, and you have a chance to win amazing prizes.
This arcade used to cater to everyone, now it's just catered to very young kids. Not bad if you're bringing your kids, but when you're with adult friends who don't have kids, it's difficult to justify visiting anymore. Staff are nice and they keep the place clean all things considered.
Had a blast and collected lots of gift points playing the special on the $.25 poker games! ??????
Good time. Tall young manager?? was very helpful. We went 2 nights in a row. He was hustling the entire time and was still pleasant and helpful.
Ive been coming to this arcade since i was a kid. Took my children here since they could walk. Always loved the old school skeeball and variety of claw machines and arcade games they had. I was a little concerned when i saw they were switching to all coinless machines. We stopped in here this past weekend as we were out at the Octoberfest they had on the boardwalk. The arcade is completely different then it was over the last 40 years. Gone are the classic skeeball that costs 25 cents and the rows of claw ga
Cindy was so helpful, kind, patience , ,hardworking, and was multi tasking well while the arcade prize wall was busy!!!!!! The games were fun and we got lucky. It was a blast and we plan to go back again!!
Loved it! Nice selection of games. The poker tournaments were fun.
They got rid of quarters, tokens, and tickets. Now it's just like every other arcade, all credits and points on a card, no tactile fun. Total waste of money.
The computer poker tournaments are so much fun!
My son who has a TBI loves going there to play just one of the arcade games. And it makes me happy to see him have so much fun. The staff there are awesome. Can't wait to return next year.
If I say I'm a YouTuber will I get free stuff and game play? I've seen 4 groups all go right after Plush Time Wins event.
We had fun playing Skee-Ball but there were far too many machines that didn't involve skill or any real interaction, and just involved luck. I don't know if I would really want to bring my child here because it would feel more like gambling than playing in an arcade.
We love Mariners. Very bright and colorful. Great machines. Just wish things were digital. I hate carrying around all those tickets. Lol but we love the arcades.
The best on the boards by a mile!!! The best staff led by Jeff, always helpful and making it special for your visit. Great choice of prizes from gift cards, electronics, and sports memorabilia
The usual assortment of claw machines, games of chance and skee ball! My kids enjoy all of these and understand that winning is more luck than skill so they aren't too disappointed when they don't win. They're always super excited when they do win though!!!
Me and my kids loved this little arcade. The inside is a little dated but maybe that's the point. There were two people who hit jack pots while I was there. Then my son hit one as well. The selection of games isn't vast however but got the job done.
It's great. I love it and the staff are friendly. The poker specials are really fun too. I love the Super Bikes 2 game (forgive me if that's not the correct name. It's the game with the yellow bikes that you can ride). One staff member, Jack, is awesome. I remember when I was just a lad and I had two light saber things and we sword fought. He's a great guy.
The only arcade I go to when I am here. Air-conditioned and they have a great staff. Happy to help with questions or if a game had an issue. The amount of tickets for the money can be high but take into account that children typically do not possess the skills to ensure they always get max tickets per game. You can same your tickets up as well. We tend to find smaller items then donate left over tickets to other vacationers on the way out.
One of the best on the boards. The claw machines don't seem rigged and the games pay out decently so you can get good prizes. They have a card that you can build up points on for prizes.
Great staff. Lots of games to choose from
Always a great time! It was a little crowded, but still fun.
They need to remodel and get up to date with this establishment. Staff that works here seem not to care about anything. Pretty darn shame. I needed to cash in my tickets and I needed to break some bills to play these games but they were standing around on there cell phones. They could be doing so much better and bringing in stacks of cash if they had the right person and the right staff to make that happen. Think I will take my money and pass this place on by when I come back here ony vacation next time. I
Expensive but it's an arcade
The hourly specials are very exciting. You could easily spend hours in there (and we did), but it did feel like a lot of the same few style games a bit. Overall, a great experience and very fun
My son loves going here. Also, a great place to watch couple-fights. Seriously...the amount of arguing that happens over picking out prizes, is reason enough to drop a few quarters. Highly recommend.
You can score a boatload of tickets at this place, and if you're a more skilled gamer, or maybe just a luck person you can walk away with some pretty awesome prizes. I had a good time here. I was a little disappointed that it seemed like about half the games were coin dozer games, but they're pretty generous with the tickets. Not a bad place to go have some fun for a couple hours.
Nice place for kids. Specials at different times of day for bonus points. But the amount of tickets/tokens needed for a good prize are outrageous. You can spend a good amount of money for basically a small prize.
Thought everything was fair, paid twenty dollars on a machine and won almost 20,000 tickets! Customer service was great. Could use a bit more variety in games, but the selection there was good. Prizes were great, and couldn't be more happier with them. Plenty of sanitizer around the arcade which was very convenient. Would definently return!
This location is great. You can't go wrong spending quality time here. The only downside is that the activities are kinda pricey but still it's worth the time and the excitement. Great food places all around. I will also add that the environment is keep clean and security assured. Highly recommended for families and even individual trips. Multiple things to do also
I love this place . The staff and management are the best. Lots of cool prizes. 420Cowboy approved tell them I sent you. I would rate this a zillion stars if I could.
We took our great Granddaughter on the rides (she's 6) and she had an absolute Ball in here, too. She (combined with our collective points) had enough to get some nice prizes.
There are many games there. They may want to have specials and Groupon. We switched to other arcades because of their deals.
I have been coming here for decades? and I just can't get over the fact that they did away with the tickets. Absolutely unacceptable! They should be ashamed of themselves!
I gotta say its the best arcade on the boardwalk plenty of games to play and the place is huge. Everytime I walk by someone is winning a Jackpot. The staff is always very nice and helpful. If you want to go to an arcade while your in Wildwood definitely strongly consider Mariners Arcade!!!!
Overall this is a great and fun family place to go. There's countless different awesome games to play including poker, Quarters, shooting games and more. Unlike most arcades.. you can actually win something worth taking home, Something that hasn't come from the dollar store. After coming here for years, there's been an obvious improvement overall. You can expect to spent probably $100 or more for some good prizes. If You have never been here before, i would highly suggest checking this place out
Nice place, but just like any other arcade, it's too expensive. My parents got off easy. Give me a $20 n I was busy for a couple hrs. These days give a kid a $20 n your lucky if they're busy for a couple minutes
When we tell the family we were going to the shore, Mariners is definitely a must stop! Good people.. family run and we always have a good time here.
2024 update: they got rid of most of the old skeeball machines. Now $.75 and different & less lanes. Replaced with giant ball drop machines.....RIP. 2023: Old skeeball machines $.25 Last on the boards, I think.
Clean carpets, good game selection, and helpful machine attendants if there's an issue with a game. I would consider the cost of Mariners' games to be pretty standard for arcades nowadays and it's certainly the cheaper of the two arcades I visited. Prize selection was impressive if you can get lucky with jackpots, but some of the low-mid tier items are decent. I cashed in my tickets for a Luke&Grogu Bobblehead Funko Pop.
My family and I love this place! We have been coming here for years. Their staff is always friendly and welcoming and we enjoy the poker & skeeball tournaments. This is the only arcade on the boardwalk that we go to. Saving up our points to get one of their awesome prizes!
This is where the kids had the most fun, until it came time to get prizes. There were quarter machine games. Pretty much all the games were made up the same way except for the claw machine which was another ripoff. Every half hour a man comes by and fix the toys and stuffed animals so that you can not win at all. Keep spending quarters if you like. Then the ticket cash in...OMG! The kids got 5-6,000 ticket each...but the prizes are worst than Chuck E. Cheese. A box of 8 no name brand crayons was 8,000
Love Mariners Arcade! Think they are the ONLY place where the claws/machines let you win something. Staff is friendly (short staffed due to covid) but someone there to help if you need help. I could stay in here all day and have a ball, if I were rich! Wish they would do cards instead of quarters. Not only is it easier on our end but it would help staff out to help customers quicker. And no touching dirty quarters. That's my only personal suggestion to make this place 1000% perfect.
Me and my family go to the wildwood boardwalk every summer for atlest 3 days. this is our favorite arcade and we spend 90% of out time at the boardwalk at this arcade. It's great for family and has a lot of different games.
Not great for young kids. Mostly random chance games, not much to actually "play". Claw games would have prizes too large for the claw, appropriate sized prizes would let you actually grab a prize, lift it up, then drop it before you could get it.
Our waiter Nico was excellent. He offered to check with the chef on food allergies I have. Suggested things to try. Was attentive and friendly. Food was good. We will come back.
Mariners arcade is very average it is just an average arcade that has a way better arcades around it that I would rather go to than this. The microphone is loud and low quality it generally hurts my ears listening to it. They are a million dollar company but they can't afford a microphone.
Super expensive...spent like 60$.all on poker and won like 14,000 points and could not get anything. the quarters are a old way of doing a arcade.with corona going around who want to touch all those quarters.lol. go to gateway much better and will def get something!
Part of the trip to Morey's Pier every time we go down there which is a lot. Love the games my little one love Skee-Ball he's so funny people just stare at him while he plays cuz he's so intense. They just laugh and laugh. We collect as many tickets as we can every time we're there and we get the check which looks very official for being worth pennies and we save them all summer long and we'll see what we get. Thanks for the fun
Hands down the best best arcade I've been to and the best in wildwood. Games prices are reasonable, prizes are very good and obtainable. Friendly and the games work. If you like ticket arcades go here. Go play ticket circus, monster drop, and harpoon lagoon (if you have 2 people).
It's a good place to have some fun. There are many arcade game and ticket game too. The prize are good too.
Every year during our vacation to OCNJ, we make a point to take a day to visit Wildwood for Mariners arcade. I out my husband and FIL love for gambling to good use, earning tickets to win prizes for my son. This year we hit a mega win with over 300,000 tickets!! We always leave with cool stuff, spend wayy too much, but make awesome memories!
spent over$200 got all cards for a coin pusher and got denyed ANY tickets for them since golden ticket was not marked with their name it only had a barcode even tho an employe told us they can be cashed in at any location that offers the same game. Then they bad mouthed other arcades on the boardwalk. Employees mainly stand around and 9 out of 10 of them have no idea what they are being asked so it is very frustating . besides the olderr woman who was very kind to get a papertowel for my daughters ice cream
Claw machines are the worst, little claw giant stuffed animal, impossible to get! The littles ones are worse they pick up but drop just before it drops in the hole, over and over, like it's set up to do that. Don't waste your money! There are plenty if claw machines along the board walk where you have a chance.
Great arcade but they need to get better prizes. We made this the prime arcade 3 years ago when they had RC cars and mini drones but this year I was stuck buying pokemon cards because of the lack of selection. Love the arcade but please have better prizes in 2019.
Mariners Arcade is always a good time. They have something for everyone. Regular arcade games for the kids or gamers, poker games, and the machines that push quarters or something else that drops to get tickets ??. Looks like they recently upgraded a lot of machines that push items that have different themes and gives out tickets for example, Willie Wonka. It was packed when we were there over Labor Day weekend. People who are concerned about COVID-19, social distancing and wearing masks ??, this is no
Love this place every time we come down we set aside time to enjoy ourselves here. Getting ready to go again tomorrow!
Fun arcade, but there are mostly those gambling games, not skill games, here. This seem to draw more adults than kids to this arcade. I guess that's where the money is, in gambling, but it was a little bit of a bummer being at the beach with kids and hoping for more games that they could play and enjoy. Skee ball was a quarter, which was incredibly fun. Unfortunately not many games for kids. The prize selection is a little bland. This is how all arcades are though, aren't they? Please click on "like" if th
We come here every time we come to Wildwood. Just found out that the can save your points on a card. We are super excited to find this out! Teaching the kids to save for bigger prizes. Great time!
Fun. Closes at night now since covid. But you can get your money's worth for a good time. Great for families as well.
Epic time... Wont he jackpot within 10 minutes
Lots of newer games in this arcade. They have the giant space invaders that was allot of fun to play with my daughter. The best thing is though they have SKEE BALL , not ice ball but SKEE BALL AND it is only a quarter to play. Downside they give you tickets that night and I do not believe if they have ticket accounts like the other arcade in Wildwood.
I love Mariners Arcade. Been going for years. My son got the Jalen Hurts Eagles Helmet today. Happy for him.
Got rid of the tickets very upset about it, it was one of the only arcades with tickets left and then they ruined it.
My favorite arcade since Fascination closed. Got 250 bonus tickets for changing a $20 bill. I spend the whole time playing ticket circus while my kids wander around, mostly playing the cranes.
Mariner's arcade has been a staple for me on the Wildwood boardwalk for the past 10 years. They provide and maintain the "old school" skee ball machines and the nostalgia is overwhelming. There assortment of coin pushers is great but can get expensive going for that elusive payout. The claw machines are not too exciting but are good.for a few dollars of fun. Most of the games here dispense tickets that can be redeemed for toys and other items behind the counter. Several of these items require tens or h
Can't have a bad time here. Great fun, awesome staff, and incredible prizes. Worth the trip and worth the experience!
It's very excellent arcade because i always enjoy win lot of prizes from their claw machines since my favorite was in 2019 of September i won a starfish plus when the machine gets stuck then their customer service is very extremely friendly helpful to me
Visit here every time we're at the boardwalk !! Machines are always working, not constantly broken like some other arcades nearby. We love playing wizard of Oz!!
I have been going to this arcade for the last 9 years of my life with my family and have played every game in this arcade it is a great place to visit and has many features unlike any arcade and has great staff and events like poker, skeeball tournaments and others prizes are also very different from one another.
Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! Went there today 9/29/18 owner accused me stealing tickets when I sat there for hours earning them, spent couple of hundreds, even had staff telling him they help me out by refilling tickets to machines and still didnt apologize. He have camera all over the place didnt know why he didnt check them. Wouldn't give it a star if they would let me!***edited**** see pic, I was there today
Loved the experience with my children had a great time spent hours there love the games could have a little more arcade games but definitely going back
Super crowded.. Games over priced and almost impossible for anyone under 10 to get tickets to redeem for prices.. Spent $40 in games and got 2 tiny cheap plastic toys that broke before even got off boardwalk... They also allow grown-ups to hoard skee ball game over children. Waited 30 min and she NEVER got a chance.. We walked away.. Very sad
This is a huge arcade! If you like coin pushers then you'll love this place! I would of liked to see some more non coin pusher games! They had a huge selection of prizes.
This is the 4th year we are here on Spring Break, and we've collected points to get a Margarita Maker and Apple Bluetooth Earbuds!! We LOVE MARINERS!!!! But wish they were open later this week. Staff is AWESOMLY FANTASTIC!!!! ??????????
Our favorite arcade in Wildwood! Great variety of games.. 25 cent skeeball! Tournaments often to earn extra points. Great prize selection!
Love this place My dad take my sister & I here we rack up points all year round. You earn more points for money at Mariners Arcade Great Arcade with Great people be round.
Spent a ton of money but we had a ton of fun. More of the prize winning/ticket collecting kind of place. We made memories.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
