Customer Reviews

It's definitely a smaller facility which I prefer. It's definitely older equipment but I've had no issues with the lane malfunctioning like I do with other bowling alleys in the area. The food there is really good bar style food. They have a few games for kiddos to play!

Don't be fooled by the exterior of this building! It is updated on the inside! We had such a fun time bowling for a birthday party. Facility is well kept with very nice staff! I'm sure we kept everyone on their toes. The arcade was fun for the kids as well. We will certainly be back

Fun for an afternoon or evening get together with friends. I paid $10 for shoe and bowling ball rental and an hour of bowling. The scoring is all computerized so all you have to do is enter the names of your team members. We enjoyed beverages from their bar and music from a live band.

They don't respect employees and the adults think they can be disrespectful. From my experience the disrespect is the same as usual, even with new staff and employees, but yes they have made changes with the building which is cool but don't let it fool you.

I highly recommend going having your birthday party at the bowling alley at Maple City bowl they were fast giving extra plates forks and napkins family and friends loved it had a very super time they were even so nice and giving my grandson a giftand a bowling pin for all the friends and family to sign their names on it and the pizza was delishes thank you so much Maple City bowl

Had a great time food was great good service nice employees all around great place!

Thursday is really cheap to bowl. But their food is over priced by a mile and their pizza is some of the worst pizza I've had, if you go go to bowl

Staff could have cared less if we were there or not. They turned the lights out for glow bowl while we were playing pool and had a bit of an attitude when we requested to have them turned on. We won't be back.

Decent lanes BUT don't expect to use a house ball;worst selection and most beat up balls I've ever seen.

Had a great time nice place good and clean

Blah, it's taco Bell, some days it's ok some days they could do better. Haven't seen it clean yet and that's what deters me from getting food there. The dirty food area. Unsanitary looking

Kids and i had a total blast!! If i had a complaint it would be they need a good music app thats edits music. The food ws really good and the service was excellent. Kids didnt want to leave

Really fun karaoke on Fridays great prices family fun arcade for kids or grown kids lol have a bar and grill pizza other food parking lot can get crazy but it happens they host parties for family's birthdays I highly recommend checking it out

Very unfriendly staff. Wanted to play some pool and turned the lights out on us had to have turned back on. Save your money and spend it some place else.

Good staff great atmosphere.

Best Service ever .... Thank you Maple City bowl Staff, for being awesome for my Daughter's birthday party. You all are great

We had to change lanes halfway through our second game because of issues with the lane. We continued to have issues with the new lane, but by this time we were ready to go. They did offer to give us more time due to the issues but we declined. The house balls were very beat up, so bring your own ball. When we got ready to leave a vehicle was parked behind us and had blocked us in. We had to go in and have them find the owner of the vehicle. Turns out it was an employee parked behind us. Why?? Who knows. We

They went out of their way to make sure our experience was a good one!! Grandsons were here from Kansas City and they had awesome time. The remodel is a success also...we watched the place deteriorate through the 80s and quit going.....what a change for the better!!! :-)

It's definitely a bit grimy inside, and they don't allow you to bring in your own cake if you are having a party. It is less busy than other places though, which is helpful for days that are likely to be more busy at other establishments.

Newly remodeled. I've been in some pretty sketchy bowling alleys. The bathroom could have been cleaner. Arcade portion was a little janky. There were scavenger hunt/escape room type instructions on some of the games. All in all we had fun!

The place looks great inside after some of the remodeling they have completed. Getting a 4 cause you could hardly hear the music at one end and we were selecting it with the app. Also, they need to get some new shoes. Several of them look a little old.

I was there Friday with my son I haven't been here for a while and to say This place used to be friendlyer but not with new staff not so much the only friendliness we got was the people from the kitchen .

I would not recommend really coming here it's a nice place but the amount of times it broke down on us was crazy my dad flew in town to see me and I wanted to have fun so we went here they say they fixed they don't my dad only hit one pin but it said he got a strike everytime and we switched lanes a couple times cause of how many times it broke we sat for like 15 min trying to figure it out and we didn't even get a extra 15 minutes cause of the wait

This place has gone downhill. I've gone three times in the last two weeks during their listed business hours and they weren't open. I called them yesterday at 5:30pm and asked if they were having any specials, and the lady who answered the phone said they were open and having $2 games until 9pm. I drove 30 minutes and got there around 6:15pm to find out they were closed. Don't waste your time with this place and go somewhere else to bowl.

It's very affordable and the food I have had here is good. I give them a two star rating because the owner has been rude to my grandparents and myself on separate occasions. He is a very grumpy and impatient man. I don't know who did him wrong in life but he shouldn't take it out on the customers who are there and want to give him money.

had a great time but the facility wasn't that clean and the staff was not motivated to provide great customer service. However, the bartender was very friendly and made great drinks

The remodeling is really nice looking. I like that it's non-smoking. It doesn't really having a bowling alley feel to me anymore, like it's too bright. I went on a Saturday, we got a lane for 5 people and it was somewhere around $38 per game. Then I see on the price board that they offer a lane for an hour for up to 5 people for $25. I don't know how they figure their pricing or maybe I should have asked, but I felt a little slighted.

Staff here was really great, cheap liquor, decent food for for a bowling ally and an all around great place to take your family. The bathrooms were kind of a mess but nothing disgusting. Music selection on the jukebox needs updated but everyone uses the same system around here. Games are considerably cheaper here than at most other places and you're gonna have a wonderful time for your money. Only complaint, they could have more pool tables.

They were out of size 12 shoes when we went and ball options were limited unless you're a child. That aside, we had a great time. It was a clean environment with nice lanes and TVs. Would give 5 stars if they had my size shoes and ball.

Fun time as usual but they closed as soon as we left.

If I could put a half star or zero I would. When we first came in to get shoes and pay, the staff literally acted like we weren't there for several minutes. Then when they finally came to help they were very rude. Then our bowling lane pins kept messing up and we had to get them fixed. After three times messing up on the first lane during the first game, we switched to another lane. A quarter of a way through that game it got messed up and we just left. Don't waste your time or money.

If I could put a zero star I would ... I came here 3 times in a row and 3 times they messed up my order, they couldn't use my online promos that I had, and they were very rude... Their equipment is falling apart and they couldn't scan my online reward..I usually love Dunkin and, Dunkin has great coffee, but the pike street in Goshen people are very inexperienced workers..m I hope the manager will read my review and get couple new employees because these kids in store don't know how to operate the Dunkin sy

The workers were trying their best but I don't think they have the kitchen equipment sufficient for their menu. Otherwise it is a good bowling alley. Would be good to explain at time of purchase that you are paying by the hour and not game however.

I have celebrated my boys birthday's here and they love it! Specially on Cosmo night. The employees are friendly too. Even tho they don't look it Lol. I give it four starts because of the bathroom.

One of the rare spots where you can bowl, drink beer, and it's still family friendly. The clientele seems like good folks, and the staff were quick to respond to requests and orders. The lanes are modern and well maintained, as far as I could tell. (I'm not a frequent bowler.

Tasty food . Especially the ribs.

Great place to bowl. Open late on Fridays, has a full bar, and always great times. Best place to bowl around Goshen.

This place looks brand new on the inside. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. The food was better than expected. You won't leave smelling like you were just at a bowling alley. We look forward to returning for some family time again soon!

It appears to be an average bowling alley. Only there isn't a very good selection of bowling balls to choose from. My two daughters ages 6, 10 and myself could not find any that were even close to what we needed to be comfortable bowling with. We paid for 1 hour and with the malfunction of our lane and time spent looking for balls,we only got in 9 frames when the game shut down. Be sure to bring your own ball if you come here. They will not help you. We waited 10 minutes one time during our session for help

There was Mold on the ceilings and in the air vents. Employees were awesome and nice. Disrespectful kids. Not enough balls. Lane #9 and 10 was acting up. It didn't want to spit our balls out have the time.

Management has bad attitude

We went to a birthday party and had a really nice time. The service was friendly, very clean and good memories were made.

We arrived at 9:00 PM then they sed they are going to close early an we can't go in an wen i googled it it sed they r still open an will be open till 12:00??

The food was amazing and got to us fast !! But the lane we were on kept messing up and my kids didn't even get all their pins every time !! Very disappointing!!!! The restrooms are very unfriendly !!! Dirty dark and small :(

It was clean. We had a good time! Grill had shut down just before we got there. Could still order pizza and beer. We will go back

Very clean bowling alley. Food is fantastic, try the chicken Caesar salad. Full bar with quick service. More than just bowling, there is air hockey and some arcade type games as well. Clean modern scoring equipment.

Not the cheapest not the most expensive, they charge by the hour and not per game, and they had to keep resetting the lane. Could of probably played 3 games in an hour but instead wasted half of that time waiting for them to reset the lane and so we only got 1 game in. Btw this lane resetting issue was not us alone, 4 out of 6 other lanes had the same issue.

I would not recommend this place me and my friends went bowling when we got there only one person working the other staff members were bowling instead of working. We had to continuesly go and ask them to fix the lanes and the computer kept malfunctioning and refused to help we had an all around bad exspierence even had issues with the arcade area. Should have got a refund for the complete bad exspierence

Nice little bowling alley but the prices are higher than any other bowling alley around here and they won't oil the lanes unless there's a tournament. Food is good but, again, high priced for small portions.

Great place for some family fun and the pizza was good. Took almost 50 minutes to get it and the service was disorganized. They will get better.

The staff is terribly unfriendly, the place smelled bad, and just a rough expierence overall!!

Lanes are always breaking down. Terrible place to hold a tournament because nothing works. Bathrooms are gross don't think they've ever been cleaned. Staff acts like they could care less about anything.

Friendly staff, great food, and good times! I went with my church group and we rented out all but 4 lanes, couldn't have asked for a better evening!

Wonderful up grades to the place! There is now a nice restaurant. Staff always friendly!

Maple City has good, cheap meals and appetizers. Its a great place for cocktails on a thursday night. Friday nights all-u-can eat fish is also a great deal!

Really nice people and it's clean and friendly! They stayed open late so me and the boys could bowl.

Very well run establishment. The first time my son and I had been in there and had a fantastic time. Will be back.

Staff is very nice and helpful. Kids like to bowl here. Place needs a facelift and lanes need to be dressed more often. Reasonable prices.

Definitely not worth the time and money, they change their hours as they wish. We paid for an hour and had 2 different lanes not work for us so we just left.

Expensive to bowl, expensive to eat...it's just expensive in my opinion

It was the best and my husband loved it and wanted to no if he brings his moms ball that was left to him when she passed away could yall fix it to fit his hand

The people here ate great. The place to go to have fun and they are cheap

There has been some good remodeling done inside. Do not judge the inside of the bowling alley by the looks of the parking lot. They have not gotten to redoing that yet

Credit card machine didn't work and terrible staff bad experience overall

We had my grandson's birthday party there on Sunday. They were very accommodating.

The updated Maple City bowl is very nice. They have made some positive changes and really cleaned up the look. It is more expensive to bowl but the changes are worth it

Grandson bowled in a tournament there. Everything went fine. They are in the process of remodeling, it was needed. Everything is still not finished yet.

Good atmosphere and a lot of fun! Music choices could have been a bit better though

Woody is currently renovating this bowling alley and it will be such an improvement overall! A ton of hard work is going into the rehaul and it will be amazing once it's finished.

Cold food, rude staff. Overall horrible experience

We had a fund raiser here for the Ratcliff family, and Maple City Bowling was wonderful to us. Thank you to everyone that helped with this and GOD BLESS EACH AND EVERYONE THAT CONTRIBUTED ??

Definitely needs updating! Our family bowling was stopped just about every turn due to pins not coming down, balls not going back and balls not returning.

The young lady (Alayna Yoder) at the counter is so kind and just a beautiful person inside and out!!! So much fun here!!!

I have been going there off and on since i was a kid, and now my oldest enjoys bowling there when he can, and i plan to bring my almost 2 year old daughter soon, when is the best time to bring a 2 and a 3 year old girls there for their first experience?

Getting there still needs to be finished with the remodeling but food was good drinks reasonable

Great new makeover and updated venue. Still has some work to be done. All new eating and bar area.

friendly staff, very cool arcade, tons of fun this place is great

Awesome place to spend times with friends! Great staff and amazing environment.

It is the worst bowling alley that I've been at. The machines break down all the time. And the prices are out of the world. 5.00 for a bottle of beer.

Love the all you can eat fish on fridays. Awesome chicken salad too. Friendly staff.

It's cheap bowling. Cosmic too if you're interested around the night hours. The bathroom was in very poor maintenance and the food is fairly mediocre.

Staff is friendly and food is good, honestly one of my favorite bowling alleys ??

Good service. Great Thursday prices

It wasnt busy didnt half to worry about mask but only downfall its more expensive then before

It's a Great place to your Family, have Birthday Parties, or to have friends get together and have Fun....

Was nice for kids birthday party, they let you bring your own cake/desserts.

Terrible service, unfriendly staff? inconsistent answers from unsure employees. This place used to be a descent place. Stay away

Definitely the best bowling alley around. Kayla and Amber ate the best. You wanna have cheap family fun come to maple city bowl

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
