Customer Reviews

My husband and I are obsessed with this place! We go to have fun together, just us two, and reminisce all of the things we love from our past! I wish I could own a Labrynth pinball machine! It's my favorite! Affordable, unlimited fun, decent snacks, and super friendly staff! We'll be visiting often!

We booked a party here for our kids. It was perfect!! We don't do the organized presents and singing, but just serve a buffet style dessert table, and let people come and go as they please. They let us bring in our own food and drinks, and provided a table area to serve it. Everyone of all ages, kids, parents, grandparents, and siblings all had a great time! In fact, my friends discussed that it would be a fun place to have a girls night! The owners were so polite and great to work with! Our kids have been

Fantastic selection of new Stern and Jersey Jack pinball machines. A few other classic machines like Adams family and Twilight Zone, some Spooky machines, and some older cabinets. Owner is awesome, friendly, and really enjoys showing of his machines. Go visit now! If you can't find a machine you like here, do you even like pinball? :)

$15 for 1 hour or $20 all day. My son went through $20 in an hour elsewhere. The price is worth it. They even let me go in without paying because I only brought my son to play. They had quite a few games inoperable, but there were still plenty that you didn't have to play the same one twice. Very friendly and helpful staff. They've got a snack bar as well. They take credit, debit, or cash. They've got some antiques in working order too. It's not a bad way to spend your day or evening if you like pinball. Th

Such a great way to spend an evening! $20 for unlimited play and an awesome selection of machines! My favorite was the Deadpool! I'm assuming the gentleman I was talking to was the owner and he was awesome, discussed the different machines and new ones he has coming. I will definitely be back!

40 plus machines from all eras, and just about all of them worked exactly right when I visited. Only a couple of them were turned off or being worked on. If you have a car while visiting Kansas City, definitely drive 20 miles east to visit this place, because it's outstanding.

So much fun! Highly recommend for a fun unique experience for the whole family. Plus the brewery next door also has food. All around a great time.

My family and I had a great time here. It was very clean. You pay per hour or for the day to play. They have snacks up front. Heather, the owner, was awesome and gave us some coupons to be able to enjoy ourselves for an hour. Facebook lists their special days with special rates. It wasn't crowded and we didn't have to wait to play any games. There were a ton of new and vintage pinball machines and a few video games like pacman, shooting game, 2 driving games and a snowmobile game. We had a great time and wi

I was told about this place by a friend and we loved it! The machines are obviously very well taken care of, clean, and in great condition. There are about 40 or so different machines including Godzilla, Elvira, Venom, Star Wars, and Deadpool. The owner said Evil Dead might be coming soon and I can't wait to come back and play it!

So much fun at this place so manny pinball games! I highly recommended. The owners are so kind and so friendly. And it's very affordable.

A bit too dark for my taste, however it won't keep me away. Some of the games have volume control which is a major plus.

Clean, awesome pinball machines. Paid $20/day, spent 3 hrs and my body hurt. LOL Worth it. Pinball lovers will recognize many of the older machines, and they all worked great. The new machines were high tech amazing!

It's an awesome place. To have fun if u love pinball

What a fun place. We went with our grown kids and 5 grandkids. Brought bsck great memories.

Absolutely fantastic place to play pinball. Owner was great to talk with, and they have a ton of limited edition/premium machines that are well kept. $20 gets you unlimited play for the day and there's a great brewery next door.

I had my son's birthday party there. It was great! The kids and parents had a good time. It's clean, and the owner is friendly. We will definitely be back.

Huge selection of pinball machines (30+)! The owners are are really nice and helpful on any machine questions. You pay based on the hour, day, or monthly membership. I have played pinball at tons of different places, and this is the both the best place and deal I've seen.

Great selection of machines. Staff and owners are super friendly. Great place to hang out and play pinball.

One of the best places to play pinball. They have a diverse number of machines, all lined up in chronological order. Free parking nearby and you can't beat $20 for all day!

Found this arcade randomly while I was in town. This place has a great selection of pinball machines. My particular favorite was Godzilla, which I hope will always be there. My other two favorites were Tommy and Flash Gordon (even though Flash Gordon got stuck on a ramp). The Alien Armaged?n rail shooter they have there is fun too. Will be back next time I'm in town!

Do you like pinball? If so then you will love this place. They have like 40 or 50 tables in Grain Valley. Everything is on free play so you just pay for time. Amenities are getting better and they are doing really well. Definitely check it out.

Best place to play pinball in the metro area. The machines are set on free play and their admission price is very reasonable. The machines are great, lots of modern options and great classic options as well. The owners are very nice and make everyone feel very comfortable.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are pinball tables still good in this modern age?

Yes, pinball tables in arcades remain a blast. Their hands-on, skill-driven gameplay delivers a thrill digital games can’t match, blending nostalgia with modern flair. Newer tables from Stern and Jersey Jack feature LCD screens and themes like Avengers or Stranger Things, keeping things exciting. Arcades are seeing a pinball resurgence with vibrant scenes and tournaments like IFPA events drawing crowds. Though less common than video games, pinball’s tactile charm and community vibe make it a standout arcade experience in 2025.

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
