Had a great time with my family. Unlike other arcades, you can eat and play without breaking the bank. If you buy a $50 game card, your meal is $2.99!! The burger was fantastic, and my son loved his pizza! As with any arcade, some games were down or faulty, but they did their best to be attentive and fix or give credits back! Nick B helped out with all the machine issues and was friendly and really made our night with his attitude and cheerful love of what he does! Thank you, Nick!!!
Save Yourself the Misery ? Avoid This Dump at All Costs If I could give this place negative stars, I would. This was hands down the worst excuse for a ?fun center? I've ever stepped foot in. You'd have a better time watching paint dry in a prison cell. Do not come here. Go to Top Golf, Dave & Busters, hell?go sit in traffic. Literally anything would be a better use of your time and money. First off, the arcade is a straight-up scam. Half the games don't even work, but that doesn't stop them from draining
This is a really fun place. Lots of games and stuff for kids. The food is really good too. Definitely try the funnel cake fries. They come covered in confectioners sugar with caramel and chocolate dipping sauces. They're crazy good.
We had our sons 12th birthday party here and it was awesome. We did the ultimate gamer package and the kids had a blast. Our host Cody was great. They accommodated us when we had to make a time change a few days before the party and I was so grateful. The experience was relaxed for the parents and we couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate.
I was waiting for a waitress for 50 minutes, and I ordered some drinks and they never came, I asked her several times that I wanted to order food and she told me that she would come in a moment, and I was like that for an hour until I got upset and asked for the manager and he never came, it was my first time in this place and I will never return. Please if you see this place run and get away, They will never serve you! Place is nice but services HORRIBLE RUN PLZ RUN
Everything is awesome every time we come! We love it here. My only complaint is that the servers always have a bad attitude. I understand this is a busy place and I don't care if service is slow or taking longer than usual, but when the servers are rude especially in the bowling area it ruins the experience.
Absolutely outstanding service from someone named Evan! He was not only incredibly kind but also genuinely relatable, making the entire experience feel personal and enjoyable. It's refreshing to meet someone who clearly takes pride in their work and goes above and beyond to do it well. Evan?s dedication and attitude truly stood out?he definitely deserves to be recognized as Employee of the Month. Exceptional service from start to finish!
The bowling lanes were horrible. No oil on the lanes, scuffs all over the approach and ants in the seating area. Asked the Front desk about when and how often the lanes were oiled for a potential revisit. He had no idea and did not seem interested to provide any customer service. I do not recommend this place for bowlers of any age.
This place was a unique experience for sure! If it weren't for Lacie I don't know what I would?ve done. She was so bubbly so helpful so caring and willing to make my experience as best as possible. She made sure my food came out on time she helped me with the games she even informed me on booking birthday parties here in the future for my babies. She made the main event experience THE MAIN EVENT! I'll be coming back just because of her thank you main event.
I wasn't going to write a review about Main Event because it's honestly like most others out there. The only difference here is they have Larry! He is what sets this one a part from all the other. My husband and I were playing on the Wizard of Oz game when it decided to stop working. Unfortunately, because of a birthday party, most employees were pretty busy. No worries, we understand. However, Larry graciously came over to help us from the store. He was an absolute gem. It may sound silly, but I'm kind of
What a great place to take your kids and to hang out with your buddies or your wife or whatever 2 nights in a row They really should offer like free bowling.Or Or free pool if you spend it so much money on the video games My kids hold the record for the most points all together for Inside their ticket shop But. I'm a business owner and I'm here to tell you.The longer you keep the adults entertained the more money They spent so like I said , I would offer free bowling if they Spend like 300 bucks on the vide
Main Event in West Chester is a great place for fun! They have bowling, laser tag, and lots of arcade games. The food is delicious, with options like pizza and burgers. It's perfect for family outings or birthday parties. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is lively. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun day out!
The staff all were phenomenal! My kids got to do the ropes, laser tag and video games. Amazing time!
Fun place to attend a birthday party! The kids had a few choices of activities, such as gravity ropes, bowling, and games. Laser Tag was Kids vs. Adults, who do you think won? The kids enjoyed picking their prizes with the tickets they won.
Although it is meant to be a fun and friendly atmosphere I found the staff not as friendly as I'd like nor as helpful (with the exception of a select few) and very lackadaisical. We ordered food and it took over an hour to receive it (making the kiddos very unhappy ??) and when it finally arrived (after asking about it several times to the bar staff) (mind you it was only chicken tenders & fries) they were shriveled little burned up somethings that resembled fried food but the only thing that was really ed
It was disappointing. I had a great experience last time I went to a main event (the one in Indianapolis) the food wasn't great.. dry.. with just ketchup offered. The service was not great but not horrible.. The whole facility smelled like marijuana. It was so strong even in the bathrooms. I thought it was family friendly but we won't be back. I suggest if you have children under the age of 15 to find somewhere more family friendly.
Kids had an absolute blast here! Everyone is so helpful and it's always a great time.
The games & activities are good. Bowling & arcades are great. Ropes course is small & was not open until 6 pm (which we found out after arrival at 11:45 am.) There is no mini golf at this location even though the website says there is mini golf! Larry is very helpful!
We went to the Halloween event and it was great! It wasn't too crowded. They had things for the kids to do and deals for the whole family. They had a costume contest and my grandson won the first place prize. I love main event. The food was good and so were the drinks. I would definitely do the Halloween event again if they continue to have it.
Booked two lanes online for bowling over three weeks ago for a Saturday at 5pm. No servers were on duty for that area. I spoke to several managers, including Peggy, the Operations Manager. Peggy was the least helpful person I spoke to. All managers told me that their server staff is ?missing? and that they were in the process of locating them. Only for me look over at info the party areas near the lanes to see FIVE ME employees standing around, one of them eating a cupcake that I watched him pick up from on
My wife and I along with another family took our kids last Saturday night. Every other person there gave off a good whiff of weed. Of particular note was the family bathroom being the go to spot to light one up, which was odd because it's right next to the security desk at the front entrance. Then again all of the other reviews about apathetic and inattentive staff seemed to be spot on and security seemed to have had the same attitude. It felt amazing to walk out into the windy 27 degree night and be able t
One Star. Should?ve stayed home and stared at a wall. Main Event Entertainment was a complete disaster from start to finish. The manager, Tameisha, acted like she was running NASA but couldn't even handle basic customer service. We were promised a refund by one of the employees because the laser tag system was broken ? lights weren't working, half the vests didn't turn on ? it was like playing tag in a dark closet. The employee apologized and said we'd get our money back. So we walk to the front booth? an
it's a great DAY party spot for birthdays. But never will I ever come on an evening especially on the weekend. Nothing can convince me to come to the hell this place becomes with the mix of high strung kids and drinking parents. Daytime fine!
Had issues with 6 different games taking my money. After spending over $150 here to take my daughter and fianc? out for a good time, the staff couldn't be bothered with me because ?I should be able to tell what games don't work, and they aren't gonna keep giving me my credits back WHETHER IT WAS THE MACHINES FAULT OR NOT, AFTER THEY SEEN THAT THE MACHINES KEPT TAKING ME AND MY KIDS CREDITS AND NOT WORKING. I came all the way from Troy, Oh to check it out on a good friends recommendation and unfortunately I
My husband and sons took me for my birthday!!! We had a great time!!! The food is good, but we got pizza that was burnt!!! Will definitely be back!!!
Some of the games didn't work right. Didn't have what we originally came for(mini golf). Looked like some kids were stealing candy from the ticket exchange shop on April 21st around 1:15 pm. Older gentleman running the counter stepped away and didn't seem like he could be bothered about it.
I had a blast here with my friends, the staff are super helpful. Larry helped us very much around the place and his work is greatly appreciated by all parties involved.
I like the main event? because Larry is too good in prividing all the information and service. He helped us with all details where my kids enjoyed. Thanks to Main Event also our kids enjoyed lot. Once again thanks to Larry.
5 stars goes to Lionel the culinary manager at Main Event. We went on holiday break where staff was short while guests were filling the house. Lionel came to the front desk to help with the rush. He helped us get the bowling lane we reserved and had a great attitude. He went above and beyond and served great food (fast) to make sure we had a great experience?and we are grateful for his service and support.
I had my 7 year old daughter?s birthday pancake pajama party today. She said it was her best birthday yet!! They loved the bowling (yes they needed those bumpers) and the pancake toppers!!! They didn't have any bowling pins for them to decorate but they got an extra arcade card and I think they liked that better!! The young lady who assisted with the party was just lovely. Super attentive. She wants to go back next year!!
Larry with laser tag was so nice and explained the rules so well to the kids! Jada with food service was so sweet! We got the deep dish pizza and it was delicious! Thank you main event and thank you Larry and Jada for making our time there a great experience!
Will never have another birthday party here there's no communication between employees. I was told we could keep our table after our party since we were the last party, halfway into the party was told I would have to pay extra if we wanted to stay. After going back and forth between managers and the party host I agreed to be moved only for them to say we could stay where we were. First round of game cards didn't work, half the games were broken. The party host was terrible 10% of 600$ is not 1$ off I'm not
So many options for everybody. The food is delicious and it is always fun. Family, friendly!
So, where do I begin... I'm in town from DC and heard great things about this place. We'll, first impression does not support what I've heard. We've been waiting for a waitress to take our food for 1 hour and 10 mins!! I've also noticed another review about the same issue. It's not the waitresses fault, she needed help!!! We were hoping to eat dinner and play some games right after. Since it took so long to get our food, we opted not to stay for the games cause it was getting late. It's unacceptable to
My kids and I had so much fun playing here for spring break. Very clean. Very professional! Larry was a great too!!! Thanks for giving us a great visit!
This place used to be fun but now it's a joke! Absolutely, the worst service you will ever get in every way. 45 minute wait to get a game card, hour and a half wait for a bowling lane that costs 50 bucks an hour! 32.00 for a bucket of FIVE BEERS, WTF!! The prices are ridiculous, and the place is vastly understaffed. What a shame because they have 2 amazing shuffleboard tables. Really, they are the only reason to go at this point, but the alcohol prices make it not even worth that.
Extremely Disappointed ? Wish We Had Listened to the Reviews We decided to give Main Event a shot despite reading multiple negative reviews?figuring it had to be decent since it's always so busy. Unfortunately, we deeply regret that decision. We spent $91 expecting a fun arcade experience and ended up frustrated and disappointed. More than half of the games that dispense tickets were either out of order or labeled ?coming soon.? Several others simply didn't work or charged us points and never started. Out
For kids this may be pretty fun if all the machines worked...but they didn't. I lost a few THOUSAND points to machines gobbling special point coins. That sucked! Lost a couple hundred plays from machines breaking during play. I swear.... if I see E05 error one more time, it will be too soon. Food portions were TINY!!!! TINY!!!TINY and absolutely overpriced. The bartender was brickfaced and uninviting. This place was just not catering to the adults that pay for the kids and young adults that keep this place
Great place to bring the kids and adults. There's so much to do. It is pricey so be prepared for that. UPDATE: I'm not frustrated with the price, I was just letting people know to expect to pay a premium for this experience.
Came for sons birthday, he really was excited to play laser tag, then let down because it's closed. OK we will make the best of it. Half the games don't work. While bowling, the lane kept screwing up let aline all the spilled food on the ground. When I explained all this to the attendant, she could care less. Don't waste your time or money visiting this place.
Waited 30 minutes for a drink, could only pay for one hour at a time, poor customer service, charged twice for 6 people?s shoes, multiple empty lanes but made us wait 90 minutes for the second hour, couldn't finish our game in time because of all the chaos, wouldn't turn music on even though multiple kid bday parties and other adults requesting. Overall, not worth the $ or time. They couldn't pay me to go back. It was not fun.
Fun place to spend some time n money with friends. They have a bar and food. We got drinks n pizza. Pizza was good but nothing special. We ordered nachos as a starter and it came rt after the pizza. Nachos were good just a bit late. Games were all fun. Ppl helped if they got stuck. Bowling was also fun, quite expensive, but well organized.
This was a fun family place. Kinda like a Dave and Busters, but with bowling and laser tag. Staff was super helpful, and the place was very clean and well maintained
This place is a disaster. We sat at the bar for a couple of hours while our kid played. We had a drink and a bite to eat. While we were there we witnessed what had to be several health code violations. The bartender was nice enough but we watched her empty the trash and then resume serving drinks without washing her hands. There were dirty dishes and glasses that were on the bar when we arrived and they were still there when we left. Behind the bar was a mess and I don't feel confident that the bartenders w
I am the CEO of tri-state commercial cleaning solutions. I wanted to do something nice for my employees and so I thought taking them to the main event in west Chester would be a blast. Unfortunately, the service was horrible, it was so bad, the worst I've ever seen. We were treated with the most utterly disrespect and the waitress name Alison was very very rude. She dismissed us in every way possible. The atmosphere is very unorganized, we paid for a pool table for few hours and people kept walking up takin
It was so much fun. Go before 12 for the $14.99 everything included except video games, You'll need to purchase that separately. Gets packed within the first hour of being open. Laser tag a blast. The gravity ropes, they only let you on 10 minutes...make sure to reserve your spot asap for laser tag and gravity ropes at the gift/prize shop. We had lots of fun and you get hot quick.?? Enjoy!
Madison was a great server when we were here! We had a super fun time here bowling! We go every year for Christmas time with the family. The bear was good, too. There is a lot to do and the staff is really great! There was a nice girl greeting people at the door and made sure that we didn't loose anytime on our reservation for bowling!
Absolutely do NOT recommend this venue. Huge expense for an extremely disappointing experience, broken games, shut down activities and rude staff. After careful deliberation, my almost 9-year-old chose against a traditional birthday party to bring a few close friends to this location. So we loaded up the car and drove 40 minutes to spend his birthday here. And it was a massive disaster. Larry, through Laser Tag, was the ONLY redeeming factor, and honestly singlehandedly prevented the entire experience
We came here to celebrate our kid's doing well in school for the quarter and it was a massive let down. We walked over to the "restaurant" area to see a sign that said, "Please go to the front bowling desk to be seated in the restaurant." After waiting in line for 30 minutes, the bowling desk told us that we could just seat ourselves. The restaurant area had 0 clean tables, and I ended up having to clean off one of the tables with my hand because I could not find any restaurant workers and there were not
This place has really went down hill. Entire place smells like weed. Dirty atmosphere. Not one single roll of toilet paper in women bathroom. Bathrooms filthy, bar filthy. Not enough staff. Tons of games broken (especially Clown game) overall not a good vibe. Sad as this place used to be best. Highly disappointed and spent a lot of money for my daughters birthday
There were lots of games for my 8 and 10 year old to enjoy. Larry was very helpful and courteous. He took his time explaining laser tag and made sure we were having a good time. My kids had a blast. Fully recommend.
Been waiting for more then 30 minutes for simply water. The people who are suppose to get the drinks have just been standing there talking to whole time. Nicole came to help us though and was amazing and doing tasks that aren't even her job see is amazing.
Had a good time today with my student! Mr Larry was super helpful and sweet. Look for him when you come he will take good care of you!
I was playing a credit machine and I put my card on one of the machinesandthenbit got stuck. I had to call for help and Larry helped me in no time. I was worried I wouldn't be able to play anymore but if it want for Larry idk what I would of done. Thank you so much Larry for the help u have gaven to me
Went for a birthday and the kids had a blast. The pizza for the party was good. There's also laser tag and bowling. It was busy but not awfully crowded.
WHAT A DUMP. This used to be fun, nothing works, no one cares, bathrooms without toilet paper, only 7 games worked, people smoking in bathrooms with staff standing right there. Workers on their phones without paying attention to the areas they are assigned to. DO NOT GO THIS PLACE HAS WENT SOUTH. WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY
It was very good place for food and fun for both Kids and adults. Very good atmosphere and the Sevice from Larry is extraordinary. He is very helpful and guided us very well.
The all you can play deal is great. Pool, bowling, shuffleboard, laser tag. All included at a reasonable price. We got our passes then sat down for lunch. Food was good but the standouts were the size of the salad with delicious ranch dressing and the Cheddar Cheese Bites, which are the best. Great staff and an all around great time.
The kids had a great time. Staff was very friendly. Ice cream was amazing! The gravity ropes are a ton of fun!! Bowling was great, had assistant props for my 2 year old to join in, and also able to get lanes for the kids to play next to us. Also receive 30 mins of free Arcade time by signing up for the email!!!
For the food I would?ve given it a 0 but obviously had to score it something. We waited two hours and finally got our food and it was freaking cold like it had been sitting out for at least half a hour and as I'm sitting at the bar waiting on said food I had ordered I'm watching all the kitchen staff just sitting on their phones having a jolly ole time while paying customers food is just sitting their. Don't ever order there food unless your wanting what would be comfortable area to left overs. Buyer BEWARE
5 dollars for 3 spoons of cheesecake, and 10 dollars for a 30min at a billiards table ?? abysmal. I've never paid more than 5 bucks for a game of billiards Update: it took 40 minutes for the skillet cookie to arrive.
We love going to Main Event!! Our kids of all ages have so much fun. Larry was so helpful on our most recent visit!! He was great :)
We had a great time playing laser tag and Larry was phenomenal. My 7 year old was nervous but Larry made him feel confident and we had a great time!!!
We took our 4 year old here to play arcade games for an hour or two. Instantly when we walk in, you can smell burnt Marijuana inside. Once at the arcade area, many games did not work and took our credits. Very disappointing. Many patrons walking around using their vape in plain sight! Family bathroom smelled of Marijuana smoke. It's a shame that this is NOT family friendly and staff doesn't do anything to stop this.... it could be a really neat place to bring your kids. I wouldn't bring my children anywh
Was an awesome day to go. We had excellent service. Larry was so helpful and interacted so well with my kids. Will definitely come again!
Me and my daughter had a great day off visit main even. Larry in the prize area was extremely helpful and friendly, and took care of everything we needed. Couldn't be happier with the fun we had!
My family loved this place! We plan to host a birthday party here too. There is a bowling alley inside and plenty of pole tables. There is something for all ages. Best to go early.
A Great place to have a birthday party for anyone child or adult games, Great food, drinks Fun
Came here yesterday, EXPERIENCE WAS HORRIBLE, laser tag was broken, some peoples teams were switched and their laser tag guns didn't work. We complained and they didn't care. Some of the games were broken too. They didn't care to help us and we had to just quit the laser tag
My daughter has been there a few times, which she has a prosthetic. This time the kid that was running the ropes course made a loud scene saying NO that's not allowed, with zero explanation. She is 13 and they made a scene in front of the entire party that obviously embarrassed her. Will not be back.
This place is your typical fum zone with bowling, billiards, gravity ropes, laser tag, and arcade games with prizes. They have a bar and serve a small selection of foods, with both adult and children portions and beverages. The Monday unlimited passes are very popular, which can cause a stand in line up to a half hour or more. These passes do not give tickets though, and do not let you play a game more than three times without a break and moving on to another game, or in my case, moving from one skee ball m
I spent $20 per person about and I got to play everything, even covered bowling and a obstacle course, it was a awesome experience. So everything?s is really cheap however the drinks are expensive. I bought 4 shots and it cost me almost $35, $8.75 per shot or around that, Damn!!
Great and attentive service. I especially appreciated Tomesha at the front counter. She was very informative and pleasantly guided us through our best options for a great evening.
Stephen & Larry are amazing! We had a blast for my son?s birthday! They really took care of us and my kids had a blast!
Once again My family had an awesome time today at the Main Event. I got to say thank you to my brother Bryon for inviting My family to his son birthday. His family and our had a blast. The experience that we had was exciting an calm at the same time if you get what I'm saying. My son birthday is tomorrow so he had great time today spending time with family. I will definitely be going again with my family. The price for everything was reasonable.
We had a great time! Our 4 year old had great time on his birthday. Larry was very helpful and cordial.
Very fun and affordable. My son?s mother and I brought him here for his birthday. Larry helped us get some free gameplay. Alana was helpful with an issue I had with a game that was not working correctly refunded the credits for that game. A great family outing.
Amazing fun. I absolutely love the place. Shoutout to Larry, the absolute GOAT. Give my man a raise ???
Very dissapointed. We have not been to Main Event in about 4 years, we figured we'd give it a shot again. We got up to the desk and asked for help on selecting the best option for our kid. The staff wasn't very helpful. We decided to just get a play card to get a feel for the place before deciding if we wanted to get the all day play. The games are ridiculously expensive and half of them don't even work right. Even my kid was bored and said they didn't want to try the rest of the things, so we left. I remem
We did the Lazer Tag and had Larry, and both were amazing! Larry was amazing and helped us with all the questions we could ever have! If you go, make sure you get Larry!!
No one was at the counter for awhile so I called to get help at the desk as we were not the only ones waiting for service. We were there as family and got the pass for Laser tag, gravity rope and bowling. In addition, we bought the game card ($88) for our kids. We were told the gravity rope would be open at 6pm. At 6pm, we went to the front desk and was told that the gravity rope would not be opened today. That was frustrating as we were waiting all day for it.
Had a great day playing with all the arcades and extra activities. Larry was a delight to get service from during our visit. He went above and beyond for us. Thanks!
Had a great Experience bringing a child i baby sit. Larry was a great help and made sure we had an awesome time! Super fun and there's lots to do for kids and adults!
Came last night, service bad, just cause im Asian, RACIST. This guy is very racist.
I went here for a friend's birthday, and had a fairly decent time. It's convenient that they have a lot of things in one facility, which renders it superior to Dave and Busters, and other similar places. My only complaint is that my group was two minutes late for a game of laser tag and they didn't let us play, or give us a different later game.
Overpriced and understaffed. Lots of broken games. Maybe the idea is to make you wait forever for your food order so you can spend more on games? Wouldn't recommend
My fam and I stopped by here last week Saturday for the first time, and we had a blast. We played bowling and explored other games. As for the food itself, it was ok. We ordered one of the "Crowd Pleasers", The Classic.
The best place I've ever been too in my life , the atmosphere was amazing , the cashier were so nice. The place was clean. One of the worker Larry was so jacked like he just had the strongest muscles and he used them to direct us to the best games and opportunities inside of the store.
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
