Main Event Warrenville

Main Event Warrenville

Reviews Summary

Main Event offers a mix of experiences with polarized reviews. Many praise the fun activities (bowling, laser tag, arcade) and friendly staff, especially for parties. However, frequent complaints cite broken games, poor management, dirty facilities, and overcharging. Service is inconsistent—some encounters are excellent, while others face long waits or rude employees. Food quality varies, with some enjoying it and others finding it overpriced. The venue is loud and busy, ideal for families but frustrating when understaffed or disorganized. High ratings highlight great events, while low scores reflect unmet expectations and operational issues.

Customer Reviews

First time visiting, bright, lively place with tons of games & activities for kids of all ages. Interesting menu with varieties of familiar comfort food. Kind of pricey but what isn't these days. The staff was great, quickly resolved scheduling conflicts, keep everyone happy & the party festive. For the adults, a well stocked bar!

Great atmosphere with some good food and good service. There are big screen televisions everywhere with a great bowling alley, pool tables, laser tag, arcade games, and a great bar. There are plenty of tables and booths where people can eat and have fun. This is a place where a good birthday party for children and adults that can take place. It is next to the Cinemark movie theater as well, so you can go here before and after a movie because they close at 2 A.M.

We came for the first time yesterday and left absolutely disappointed, half of the arcade games were not even working but still took credits from the game cards, no signs indicating they weren't working, waited for help at the front just to be stared at by the workers and not get any information. No seating, taken up by trash. Really ghetto here honestly don't recommend.

Place is nice and clean but not enough staff to make it a go to spot.

We hosted our son?s 7th birthday at Main Event Warenville and the kids had a blast. Our party host started everything on time. I gave 4 stars only because we had issues with the arcade cards either not working Or not active which we had to work with front desk multiple times. The drinks and food is a little on the expensive side. We had otherwise great experience with the team. We did leave one of the gifts at the venue and the staff was great at locating it even after almost 2 days.

The place is more toxic and manipulative than my friend?s ex. That's saying a lot. Spent a lot of money to come here for a fun trip, and left very disappointed. In the past, the games used to be decent and fun. Not anymore. They changed all of the payout rates to the lowest possible so they will never give you a jackpot or even just a small win anymore. I spend $20 one time and left with around 1300 tickets, and spending $35 on my most recent visit I got a measly 140 tickets. That wasn't even enough for a

I forgot to do my review. On Saturday May 17 We made it to main event at about 4:30 ish and purchased the all day unlimited passes for the kids so that they could do all of the activities multiple times until we were ready to leave. We hear over the speaker that they will be closing early at 8 for a private party. When we bought our passes no one mentioned anything to us about them closing early there were no signs out of anything. They literally ripped us off because mind you they have to wait until each

Issues with this place is many machines (games) did not work or no balls stuff that was crazy and should not be. Bowling right off the bat stopped working after first bowler and we had to wait about 10 - 15 before was running again. It is a bit expensive for all the issues. Bowling shoes also not the best. Sorry I don't like giving low reviews but maybe they just need more staff. Actual the bar tender was sweet and kind and did a great job. She helped to add a star.

We just had our son?s birthday party here. Half of the games are broken (photos included), many laser tag guns are also busted. Our ?dedicated party host? was nowhere to be found a majority of the time so I kept having to ask other random workers for things we needed. Total waste of money and left a poor impression on our party guests.

We hosted our son's 11th birthday here and had a great experience. Highly recommend for kids birthday parties. Shaye helped me setup my contract and was very accommodating to customizations. Bianca was our party host and was on top of everything. My wife and I sat back and relaxed while Bianca gave the kids and incredible night of fun. Request Bianca for your next party, she's a pro. We had a slight hiccup with one of our events and the GM Alex went above and beyond to make it go away. His solution exceeded

Honestly, our original experience was pretty terrible, but I'm giving a 5 star review because the service manager, jennifer, handled our complaint so well. She was empathetic about our issues and seemed genuinely apologetic about our poor experience. Thanks to her, we still ended up having a great night.

Ordered drinks for 6 people, and they never came out (waited 50 + minutes and decided to leave). Appetizers came out, and one was cold. Management seemed annoyed that I didn't want their offer to make it right (a free appetizer on my next visit). After the terrible service, why would I return? I understand that the servers could have been short staffed, and would have been fine if our server could have just checked in with us instead of disappearing.

A TIME WE HAD! Bowling, arcades games, drinks, foods, pool tables, games for the little ones and pre teens. Celebrating a sisters birthday was a freaky ball!! Pizza was the go to! Pretty expensive. From the floor games to bowling to laser tag. It was definitely a good time!

My party turned out amazing! The food, service, and surroundings were astonishing! My party host Tony Barraza made sure all the kids laughed and had a great time during our time at Main Event.

Horrible place i payed 50 dolars for my bill 3 days later I got a notification that I was charged 53% for a tip. I called the manager he was making excuses he was telling me that I bought other things that I never buy. I have to dispute charges through my credit card cause they was not being reasonable. Unless you pay cash check your statement or better yet just avoid going there.

If you care to experience slow to no service in a dirty environment. Then go and waste your time and money. How the owner is allowing this place to be ran is surprising. This establishment has drastically gone downhill. There was no management to be found nor employees for that matter. Everytime we find one and ask for drinks or food we were told they didn't work in that area. The very few employees we did find were talking to friends or family from the looks of it. The glasses for drinks were being rewashe

Jennifer is amazing! The bartenders are fantastic. Everyone is kind. A lot of the games don't work but the staff was on top of trying to fix them. It was a busy night. The food is pretty good too!

A little confusing when you first walk in (so much to see and do) but the people at the main desk are super helpful and explain everything really well. There is plenty for the kids to do, and we did 1 hour unlimited game play in the arcade, and laser tag. They also have bowling, a trapeze tightrope thing, plus a fast service restaurant and a full service restaurant and bar. Prices were a little high, but not too bad, they have lots of specials and deals. Great employees who were very helpful. Kids had

Me, my husband, & our kids love it here. We celebrated our son's 8th birthday here & he had a great time. The food is good & the games are fun. The only problem is is that it's VERY loud inside the place. So, if you're sensitive to loud noises, you will definitely need ear protection when coming here.

The food was amazing and the drinks were perfectly mixed. Server was kind and a great talker.

Weekday get together with colleagues is usually fun - less crowd and we get to talk to each other a lot! So was the case here - however, online booking showed us that there was two lanes free - but in reality, most of the lanes were unoccupied. There was hardly any crowd around. So we checked for some food and drinks - this is where we had the maximum problems. For sparsely populated place - the service was horrific. Taking in orders and serving was taking such a long time. They lost some revenue for sure -

Came to play a quick game of bowling. Lanes were all filled, no problem, we'll go have fun at the arcade machines. The issue is the cards to play the arcade games are ridiculously overpriced, and to add, half the machines don't work, but will still take your credits you already overpaid for. Trying to find anyone whom looked remotely in charge was impossible. The whole establishment is also notably gross/not sanitary. Complete disaster. Wouldn't recommend.

I've been here two times, once was a few years ago and it was a great time but went again a few weeks ago and the difference was crazy. Seemed as if it was nothing but teenagers that didn't care and the bowling lanes were so dry I damn near started a fire on the lanes with my bowling ball. I've never bowled on lanes that had zero oil on them

We had our 6 year old's birthday party at the Warrenville location nearly a week ago. The event was a disaster. We had 24 kids on our guest list (plus their parents) and the sales associate assured me upfront that the size of our party was no problem. (1) One of the bowling lanes reserved for our party was completely broken and unusable. It's understandable that those things can be out of anyone's control. But it was 20 minutes before they finally decided to let us use the lane next door (after we requeste

What a great place. A little expensive for bowling but worth it. The place is super clean. The food is really good and not as expensive as I expected. The have different games you can play while bowling that is scored different. Also some crazy stuff like being able to take photos of yourself then they animate you into funny character. On the weekday we payed 22.00 per hour plus shoe rental for the lanes. As I said a little more expensive then the dive alleys. And the cleanliness is worth the money. Happy b

A great place to celebrate a child's birthday. The birthday was great, we celebrated my son's 11th birthday. I was glad that you could bring your own cake and sweets. Great bowling and laser tag, and other entertainment. A great place, the birthday boy and his friends were satisfied and happy!

Went for a birthday party and the staff was on top of drinks and pizza. But they were out of mint to order a mojito and they were out of Guinness for beer, which were both on their menu. I found it very odd for it being a Sunday. Kids played in the arcade and many machines just took the credit and were broken so they couldn't even play. So many other machines were "coming soon." This place needs to step it up and service these things and get signs on the broken machines. What a waste of money, we won't be b

If i could give it no stars i would first time here at this location lady at front desk told me waiters would come to me as i waited 10+ minutes i went to go ask the bar , bar tender takes 10 mins to put in my order , whole time ive been here ive watched 5 workers bring out 3 pizzas and no one tending the tables or customers for almost 30 minutes,if i could rate zero stars i would. By the time my food came out me and my family were displeased and got a refund and left

Went last night and the service was TERRIBLE. Waited 30 mins for a server to come to our table & no one came to wait on us. And there was a server waiting on the table right next to us and one manager said that the server would serve us next, that didn't happen. After asking for the manager, she took 5 mins to talk to me. Then when she finally sent someone to our table, that took another 5 mins. When we finally placed our order, the server told us the kitchen was behind & it would take 30-45 mins for our fo

My experience at Main Event this past January 4th 2025 was very unpleasant to say the least. To start I was accompanied by 12 children, I tried purchasing the all day activities passes for $25.99 that was advertised on the monitor behind the desk. I was informed by 2 of the team members that they were not allowed to sale the advertised deal on that particular day. Which was in deed advertised on the monitor for that day, I ended up spending $400 plus dollars on cards and additional funds on other attraction

I like going to this place with my daughter. We always have a great time here playing laser tag, gravity ropes, and bowling. I'll definitely come back again. It's a perfect destination for a full day of fun.

Half of the games were broken or said coming soon. Over priced. Prize selection was bare and not a lot to choose from. Spent $100 and was disappointed that the machines weren't working. Limited selection of games. Bathrooms were disgusting. Trash overflowing in gaming area. The machines to read your cards were all broken except for one.

We swear the kids/teens working there were high. At the front desk area I asked the guy if they served coffee there he said yes. We proceeded to bowl and this other kid guy took our order including the coffee. Then he said they don't serve that there. Ok whatever. The food was hands down horrible. I'm not trying to be rude either. The bread of the sliders were stale. The meat was burned to a crisp. The loaded french fries tasted like placed square craft American cheese. So I said to my wife, ok let's just g

The customer service here is REALLY LACKING!!! MICHAEL/Server 1030 the bartender has a major chip on his shoulder about his job. He clearly hates what he does. We ordered a drink and he had a slight attitude but when my husband asked if he could order food at the bar Michael gave us a huge lecture about how chasing down food was not his job, he just got to work and it's already hectic and if we did order it there he wouldn't go get it for at least an hour!! He was annoyed when my brother asked him for water

Cool place for teens, date nights, and group outings. Great prices! We got the unlimited pass for $23, it included bowling, laser tag, rope course, and Pool. We spent a good 3 hours there. Ordered some food that was brought to our lane.

This place absolutely sucks. 4 bowling lanes open but there cleaning up yet no one was cleaning. Small arcade also a lot of the machines were broken.

Attended a gathering back in 2019. Had fun. There was food, games, pool tables, bowling, laser tag and shuffle board.Kind of busy on a Saturday night. FYI but great place to hang out have fun and drink.

So far, half of these arcade games don't work. Skeeball, connect 4, Star Wars VR. After dropping $90+ on arcade credits, you'd think they'd be on top of this.

The food is awesome! Love the bowling, laser tag, and arcade games. Took my Wife and granddaughter for our first time Memorial day and we loved it. The only complaint I have is that when you get the unlimited gaming card, you can't play the VR arcade games.

Leo and our servers Janelle and Lorenzo took really good care of our party of 10 we will definitely be back. The food, drinks, and atmosphere were great!

Came here on Xmas day so we could get our son out of the hotel and running around. Served the purpose and had some games he enjoyed playing. Didn't get any food to make a judgement on it. Wish I had more arcade style, single player style games. Realize that's more old school but it would have been a nice.

I wouldn't go here just to bowl because it's expensive when there are better bowling places. Great place to take your kids for laser tag, high ropes, and a huge arcade. Great place for birthdays or just a weekend activity. It isn't the cheapest place but you can find some deals for laser tag on Groupon and some time in their website so make sure to look for that before you go.

Pheonix did an amazing job as our server and we will definitely be coming back! She was very clear about items on the menu as well as pricing and overall had a cheerful attitude. 10/10 recommend coming here and having Pheonix as your server!

The girls at the counter are kind and helpful, But I Paid $50 to play arcade games, which half of the ones we tried didn't work. The games just took our credits. We ended only with 300 credits, Half the games didn't take or didn't work. And it's very dirty there, i didn't see anyone on the floor walking around. There was spilled drinks, food on the floor and on the games. It's just gross and grimy. Very disappointing, was excited to go.

Overpriced. We wanted to bowl, but we had an hour wait. We walked around, and they only had one lane open for bowling. The games were overpriced. We left. Was not worth our time.

One of our food orders was mixed up for over an hour and no compensation was given. This took away from our time to play the games for the New Years activities they had. No apologies were made. Wish we had chosen some place else for new years eve. Our two girls and us couldn't even get our second meal tickets done because they closed down til 830p. This was bad for us.

literally half the games didnt work but would take our credits. the front desk was empty and then when a person came they just stood there and as we are in line i had to call them over so we could actually purchase credits. the womens bathroom where the kids bday was being held was spitting out water w each flush, flooding the bathroom. dave n busters better

Poorly managed. Short staffed which is common now and we don't mind if acknowledged. We sat down on our own no host. Manager was behind the bar with 2 other bartenders no hello no be with you in a a few. Manager walked right by us servers passing up by giving us looks like we walked into there living room. Party of 8 e would tipped sked for a server 2x & nothing. DEF NOT RETURNING! Walked across to Rock Bottom they def didn't care, I mean not even for the tip smfh..

Arrived at approx 10:00 pm on 3/31... party of 6... was told wait time of 20 mins for bowling... kitchen was closed... when called for bowling (about 10:30 pm) was informed that bowling cut off was 11:00 pm. We advised that we came because the website said you were open til 1:00 am (even pulled up the website to show). Was yold closing at 12. 40 min drive to get here... probably will not return...

This place was loud and expensive but the kids had fun. They certainly have several entertainment options here from bowling to arcade etc. The pizza here was okay and the service was also good. The bowling was very flashy which was supposed to be exciting.

Main event was so fun, the bowling was nice, the laser tag was very fun and the arcade was nice, 10/10

We attended a birthday party for the kids at this place. It was fun and exciting experience.

The green beans and brussel sprouts could be a little softer, we were served buffet style. The loaded mashed potatoes were yummy. I was there for a work event, it was scheduled for 6-9pm.... They shut it down at 1005pm ! We had an unlimited arcade card, and they also have everyone a $20 cash card. My only regret was not using all the $20 on the photo booth before shutting everything down at 1005pm. It was fun, first timer & I'd def come back! The gravity maze was fun, I still don't know how I got my par

Stay away horrible service, from manager ivan and connie. Sat for one hour no service. 3 servers couldnt accomplish a simple task of taking our order. Spend your money else where. Place is ghetto also.

Went here for a date night, and most of the arcade seemed to be broken. Price seemed high per game, and VR headset should have a cleaner or something nearby. Cheese pizza was good.

Had some time to kill and stopped in for a quick drink & ended up staying for a bit longer than I expected, the atmosphere is chill (not really packed). The waitress that took care of me and my later arrival at the bar was absolutely fantastic!!! Mina is the best!! She went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed.

This place use to be the main event - now we wouldn't even choose to come here if it was our only option. Came here to bowl Waited 2 hours (was told an hour) Finally got a lane and the bumpers wouldn't go down. Paid $60 for an hour to play on a messed up lane they couldn't fix and wouldn't refund us. Not coming back :(

We are not from the area and had an extended stay due to treatment my son was receiving close by for about 7weeks. We were looking for a place to celebrate the end of his radiation treatments. We decided to give Main Event a try and their service blew us away! Everyone was so friendly and nice, service was top notch and the food was great! Their staff went above and beyond to make our sons day magical! 10/10 experience, if ever in the area again we would definitely go back.

Feels like a bait and switch. Show up early due to this advertising on their website. Then told it's not available on Saturday even though their location specific website says nothing about this. I'd recommend just avoiding them in general

The place is great ! But there are "hidden" charges that you should know when you are hosting a B'day Party. There is "service charge" which is 12% of your total, which is added over and above your charge. This is bait and switch tactic employed by Main Event, even their staff tells you multiple times that this is for "clean-up purposes" and is not a gratuity for the host. The only time they need to clean up is when we kids at a table, and more than 70%-80% of the time me and wife cleaned up, so I am paying

2nd time her, but 1st time having food. We had BBQ Ribs, which were some of the best I've ever had. Both tender and flavor were on point! Smoked jalape?o sausage were excellent! Mac and cheese wasn't my favorite as it was too watery without much flavor. The beans were, but BBQ beans really aren't my thing, so that's not om the restaurant. And the Coleslaw was bland and sweet. Coleslaw isn't my thing either, but the entire table had the same feeling. We also had cornbread, which was very good. We had BBQ chi

Fun and exciting venue for everyone! Good for the whole family. Movie theater is next door.

Food is definitely delicious. It was very busy on a Friday and we had to wait 2 hours for most of the activities. The managers were friendly and understanding of our frustration and offered timed pass-cards to the game lounge. This is how you do business.

we stopped by today, the prices are good they have several different packages, we had an unlimited card for 1 hour which was 10$ but you dont recieve any points which we were okay with, we also bought a bracelet for unlimited climbing, my 10 yr old had so much fun that was 7.99$ everything is + tax, over all customer was good, they have plenty or selection as far as arcades, they also have bowling area you can buy a bracelet for 20$ that will include a pass to bowling, climbing and games which is a great de

Super fun! Food was good & the bar is nice .. friendly staff. Laser tag was a 10/10

I came here as a guest of someone who was hosting his daughter?s 13th. Bowling is the worst part of their offerings. Their lanes don't work and they are very understaffed so we had a lot of wait for someone to come and fix few times. In the end it became irritating and we decided to just leave. They tried to offer more $$ on arcade game card. My rating is not a reflection of the staff attitude and their help, they were very good but they couldn't do much to faulty machines

We drove an hour to meet friends for their son?s bday. It was 10am on a Saturday and to say the least the whole place was a mess. Every station was unattended (bar, ticket counter, bowling areas, rope bridge?etc) and you had to go flag someone down for help. It was one hot mess?not to mention you're paying through your teeth to use everything. I honestly would never go back.

Very hectic atmosphere. Went there to go bowling, will not be returning. The staff were quite unfriendly. The ststems went down at the register. 4 people behind the counter and only 1 never acknowledged or said there was an issue. When there was an issue with the lane took 15 minutes to get any service to fix the lane. There were servers in the bar area but never came over to assist, went to order at the bar and their systems were down. Thank goodness I had cash. Not worth the price.

We celebrated my son?s birthday this past weekend, and the staff was truly great in making sure that everything was taken care of. Our host, Sam, was especially attentive, friendly, and helpful from the beginning to the very end! Thank you so much for your genuinely friendly service, Sam! We only have one complaint which was how warm the venue was, specifically the upstairs party area. If the temperature could be lowered for warm, humid days, that would improve the experience that much more. But overall, we

Great place to go with the kids! Go on their website & sign up for the email and you'll get 30 minutes of free arcade games. Which btw is great! Our family did the 30 minutes of free games and then went onto bowling. $22 for up to 5 ppl for 1 hour isn't bad at all. I would suggest going during the weekday bc no one is there and you can run to the next game and the next game and then.....the next game.

I was there 6/7 with my family for a family reunion meet and greet. Everything was great. We had many kids and many adults. The service was great at the desk to get pool balls and bowling shoes. The food was good as well. The 2 bartender ladies provided great service.

I used my game card to play but those games were not working. But i was charged on my game card. They had not so many games to play. Game area was totally empty. I found nobody was there. I would recommend to Hoffmann estate main event location.

The dining experience was great...pizza was surprisingly good, and the drinks were great. My kids enjoyed the gaming area although more than a few were broken. The middle tier game card was worth the money !

We had our daughter's 11th birthday party here and Ashley was our super amazing host. She took care of 17 girls without a hitch! Charles also helped with little touches and overall we had a great experience. Highly recommend their party packages. Ashley was on top of everything and took great care of our group.

I had an all inclusive teen package. When we arrived the previous party left food on a table near the pool tables which sat there for over 4 hours. If I needed anything I had to run around the place to find the host. I asked the bar tender for napkins and he said ?no I can't I'm busy?. I would not recommend for parties

We had a small event and everything was perfect. This was our first time there for many of us and we enjoyed every minute. The food was great, the service was great and the entire atmosphere was amazing. Definitely coming back again for more future events and also bringing the entire family. Ivan Carillo the Manager did an excellent job checking in on us all night and making sure we were having a great time. Thanks again Ivan. I would definitely recommend everyone to come check out Main Event in Warrenville

Rude manager. Wouldn't give a table for guests to sit for the birthday party

Main event warrenville was great. Friendly staff and very lively environment set a great first time here !

Looks nice from outside never been in there hope to soon

I'm here with my family right now. Sorry. This place sucks. Video game MX is terrible, they're understaffed and the experience here is really just ugh. :-( I'll avoid this place at all costs.

Lanes arent working properly. Ball gets stuck, pins dont reset, bumper guards Not working. Several lanes! Needs better upkeep as they are not keeping up.

That was a great birthday for my son. So much so that I did not get many pictures. Definitely family friendly. Awesome birthday set up with your own Birthday Planner she did a great job keeping things on task for our allotted time.

The overall the experience was ok. The drinks were great the service was slow but I'm an understanding person it was one bartender and I only seen like three servers and one was extremely rude. I did have a large party and a few things were misconstrued but Charles came over and helped us tremendously. He solved our issue and even apologized when he was not at fault. I will come back because of him and my kids having a good time

This place was great for our company holiday party. Bowling was fun, pool tables and shuffle board were good too. The only things I didn't like were: 1) The laser tag room was a little small. I wouldn't have more than 10 people in at one time. 2) The video games they had were almost too modern, I wish they had some older arcades like street fighter or the simpsons. Also, food was pretty good and they had a really good alcoholic drink selection. Would definitely recommend for my company to go back.

We had my son's birthday party here. We did bowling, pizza and arcade games. We had a party of about 20 or so kids. This could have easily been better if the girl who assisted with our party was helpful. You could tell she was super annoyed dealing with 20 1st graders. The children had no direction and if some of the parents didn't stay to help the party would have been a bust. We were so confused on what to do when. Then the girl tells me that if I'm not out of the room in 10 min I would be charged a fee.

This is about the overall birthday experience. They used to be better. Wait staff didn't seem as attentive during the meal part. Could have been a bad day. The most glaring problem is that the games were not being maintained. I, as an adult, will go through the process of getting refunds on various games that are broken. Awesome bowling and arcade! Perfect place to hang with your family and kids.

Don't book your kids birthday here. My friend booked birthday for her daughter. Looks like no one vacuums the floor, table not set up on time of the birthday. We saw other birthday kid?s crying when we waited for our table. I booked a week ago for my kid in Hoffman Estates location- it's much better! Service, cleanliness??

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
