"This destination is a true gem for families! The kids absolutely adore the place, and it's easy to see why. Not only does it offer an array of exciting activities, but the bowling alley proved to be a particularly enjoyable addition, providing hours of entertainment for all ages. Meanwhile, the adults can unwind and indulge in a variety of delicious options at the on-site bars and restaurants. One of the standout features is the ample and convenient parking, which is completely free ? a welcome relief for

I had an amazing experience at Main Event Plano during the Teacher appreciation event! From the moment we arrived, Anthony greeted us with his infectious smile, instantly making us feel welcome. His positive energy and attentiveness took the service to another level. The food was outstanding?the wings were hot, crispy, and full of flavor, while the fries were perfectly seasoned and fresh. The bar service was equally impressive, with friendly and fast bartenders crafting great drinks all night. The combinati

Exceptional Customer service. I attended a surprise birthday party here. We were able to go bowling and enjoy the food from the restaurant. They have a really good platters that are enough for five people. They have laser tag and fun escape rooms as well as an arcade. They also have pool tables.

I had an amazing experience thanks to Nelson! He was incredibly friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. You can tell he genuinely cares about the people he helps. It's rare to come across someone so dedicated and positive?Nelson made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend his service!

I had good time with my friends. We played bowling and snooker here. But they have just 2 chalk for 5 boards ??. The food was good, i truly enjoyed their gummy bear cotton candy sundae ??.

Overall, the experience was just okay. Unfortunately, a few things made the visit less enjoyable. We waited over 20 minutes without being approached by a server after we got to our lane, and when we asked for assistance, staff members seemed unsure or unable to help. It was frustrating trying to place an order, and when we were finally told to go to the bar, the bartender initially seemed reluctant to take our order but she did warm up eventually. One of our games stopped working, and again, we couldn't fi

I really enjoyed it because my g-kids were having a blast. There's a lot of fun things to do for all ages. Such a great place to have parties.

We celebrated fathers day at Main event Plano. Huge shout out to the servers and people managing the escape room, etc Myranda was our server and she was extremely friendly and helpful. Food was excellent and served fast. Myranda was able to customize our food preferences. Each and everyone was polite and kind. Only glitch was we had a reservation for the pool table for 7pm but did not get it till 7:40. Other than that the service was spotnon. Thank you for making our day special, Myranda!

We didn't get food, but everything else was awesome. We normally go to Lewisville, so I have the summer bowling passes through that location, but didn't realize it was per location until we decided to stop by and were checking in. The manager was so nice when I realized that for activities and helped us out. Got some drinks while my kiddos bowled and service was so quick- perfect! I should come to Plano more often :)

The ultimate main event location! -Escape rooms -Bowling -Arcade - Game and gaming machines are all well maintained -Big screens playing sports -Bars -Party rooms And just a lot of space, so it never feels overcrowded Very well kept and cleaned and managed location.

Visited on a official party. Helpful staff, everything arranged in order. Reservation not required. Good place to visit along with kids. Accessibility options along with reserved parking available.

The shoes looked and felt like they been through a grinder and it was SUPER hot. Everything was super gross and dirty. The fried pickles were fire though. We ate that before we saw all the food and sticky stuff in every crevice in the entire place.

Great place! We did 2 escape rooms and they were very well done and certainly challenging. Will be back to try food, bowling and arcades. Return trip for Halloween fun weekend on 10/12. Tried the food and it was very good. The caesar chicken wrap is the star of the show. Bowling is great and we were able to complete the last of the 3 longer escape rooms. Great job again Main Event!

We celebrated my daughter?s 9th birthday today at this Main Event and it could not have gone any better! We were so impressed with our host. The bowling was nice. The touch screens for adding players etc was great. We had a great party table area. The pizza we got with her party package was really tasty. Each child gets their own drink choice and it comes in a little souvenir cup. The arcade was really cool and I didn't notice very many out of order games. Just overall a great experience! Also, very reasona

I don't know if the place is light staffed during the day or they weren't expecting so many kids but went for a school function. My kid had fun but the pizza he got was very small. I ordered food so we could share and my child couldn't eat any of it. The chicken was burnt and they tried to cover it in the buffalo sauce. It was terrible. I couldn't even eat half of it.

We had so much fun (group of 6)! Got the day pass, which gave us access to Bowling, Billiards, and Lazer Tag for $22.99. The staff was absolutely amazing, and our server Jennifer was just the sweetest. She was very attentive and such a joy to have around. Definitely planning on returning!

Unbelievable! Main Event can't afford to buy or upkeep their billiard tables? Food was reasonable however the service was too slow. If you want to eat and the kids want to go and play, it took too long for the food as we were the only ones dining. I like Main Event, but the one in Plano seriously needs upkeep.

Awesome place for adults and kids! My wife and I love it for adult time, our 2 toddler boys love it for kid bowling and their arcade. Many games to pick from, good prizes to spend earned points on. Food is hit or miss, but if that's ghe reason you wanna go to Main Event, go elsewhere. The staff is great. My so lost our Fun card once, the manager was able to quickly transfer our balance onto another card, with kindness. Great spot for family fun!!

We had a blast! We came for bowling. Was a little disappointed that the double booked the VIP lane that I bought online but the manager made it up to us by giving us full use passes. We played 4 games of bowling, 2 games of laser tag and a couple games of pool! Food was pretty good and even had a couple drinks. We were exhausted! Fun night!

Very expensive. $120 for 6 (4 children under 6, 2 adults) 2 hours of bowling on a Saturday morning at opening. However, the facility was clean, and the food was good. The staff needs a little "seasoning"... a lot of "i don't knows" and "let me check". I would suggest staffing more wait staff on the weekend. The poor young lady behind the bar was not only serving the bar but was also responsible for taking food orders for the whole facility at lunchtime on a Saturday. She needed at least 2 more people hel

The establishment was so friendly and clean. The staff were gracious and helpful? even listened to an our reason for celebrating and treated us to an additional play at one of the arcade games (so unexpected yet so personal). Even the prize selection for ticket redemption was great. We will definitely be back! Cannot recommend this location enough! Thank you Wesley, David, and Liv!

Got an 11am special deal for all access pass to everything besides games. I do feel like a location without ropes course should be a bit less than others that have it but we still had a blast between shooting pool/ shuffleboard, laser tag and bowling. We were there thru late morning and afternoon... It would've been a slow roll except a HS group was there so laser tag was hopping! The great thing is the wristband gives you all DAY access so you can come back after school or evening too, to play again!! Fo

We got a pizza and it looked like the toppings were just thrown on, plus the pizza was a bit under done. Played pool and had some drinks while we were there. The bartender was amazing but issue I had was that the pool tables didn't look to be well taken care of and there was only one chalk piece for six tables available.

As far as bowling alleys go, this one is impressive. It was clean, well-managed, and sufficiently staffed. The pizza and wings stand out compared to your average casual food spot. We were able to secure three lanes within 48 hours, making it an extremely convenient option. We'll be back.

Brought family here for some bowling. I ended up doing more than I planned. They offer a all day pass that ends up being cheaper than trying to do one thing at a time. The pass covers all day bowling, lasertqg, and pool. You play 2 hrs of bowling and a couple if games of laser tag and you've already saved . I do recommend the pass if you're bringing the family . The food looks good I didn't eat here so that's the only reason 4 stars. The beers are cold though lol. I did notice the prize selection for the Ar

The quality of the food has absolutely dwindled in recent years. This main event used to have all day passes however they stopped selling them after noon and their bowling rates are outrageous for how crappy their lanes and balls are. The lanes have warps balls have nicks in them. Overall the servers and employees had snarky attitudes and the prices of the food and drinks were terrible. We won't be returning.

I went for a party and the water/drinks tasted moldy. The staff was quick to switch out the drink but thr after taste was very present. I recommend cleaning the tubing of the fountain drinks and ice. The host was inviting and attentive. However the birthday parent was upset because we had to be seated at the Cafe due to bad planning on Main Event and no tables available for the guests next to the bowling aisles. Food was hot and ready for guest.

Trashy, there literally is trash all around the parking lot. Dirty inside , fingerprints all over everything and the bathroom is disgusting. Astoundingly awful service, everything literally took forever to where you almost want to leave. Of course, male management is too busy talking to young waitresses to care. Zero concern for how you feel as a customer spending your hard earned money there. Good if you just came back from clubbing. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else!!

We recently hosted a social event for our track and field booster club at Main Event, and it was a fantastic experience! A special shoutout to Alessandra, our event coordinator, who went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. With a large group of athletes in attendance, her organization and professionalism made the event seamless and enjoyable for everyone. The atmosphere was perfect for team building, and our athletes had a great time. Thank you, Alessandra and Main Event, for helping us crea

Our visit to Main Event Plano was a mixed bag. Despite enjoying a full 2 games of bowling and the escape room, the overall experience was marred by service delays. The server initially refused to take our order, leaving us waiting for the manager who, unfortunately, wasn't licensed to handle drink orders promptly. To add to the frustration, our food took approximately 30 minutes to arrive when it's usually less than 15. Mind you it was a weekday evening and not crowded. Compounding matters, a stranger was

I'm really looking forward to our upcoming bowling session! I know it won't be as affordable as before, but I can't wait to enjoy an hour of fun. With two players, it'll be around $50, but I'm sure it will be worth every penny for the good times we'll have!

Poor. Would give zero stars if possible. Basically, they are still running at half capacity and somehow they can't manage this place. Want to bowl? Good luck. Half of the lanes are seemingly busted going unused. They take your money and leave you waiting for hours. Servers can't even get food out- won't even bring water. Useless.

Went to the bar at 10:30 and was told it closes rudely by the bartender working we proceeded to order 3 espresso martini and as she is making up the machine meds up and she throws a even bigger fit that now she has to make them . After we got our drinks we started bowling and look up Olive what time the bar closes and it says 15 min before the place closed which was 12 . I proceed to talk to the front desk and she said the same thing it says online. So we try to order more drinks at this time it was 11:13 a

I brought my brother here for an event for his school. Me and a few others decided to stay and enjoy ourselves as well. The arcade game area was nice & clean. Wasn't too cluttered & very spacious. TOOOONS of games to play. A few of the machines were out of order and didn't work correctly basically ripping us off. Including the expensive VR experience games. I didn't complain and kept it pushing. HOWEVER, we got hungry and wanted to eat. The guy I spoke to about dining basically told me to seat myself becaus

15th Birthday Party at Main Event Plano ? A Fantastic Celebration! We recently celebrated my daughter's 15th birthday at the Main Event in Plano, and it was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. Everything was handled with professionalism and care, and our entire group had a fantastic time. The standout of the day was our wonderful party host, **Nancy**. She was friendly, organized, and truly attentive to every detail. Nancy made sure everything ran smoothly?from greeting our guests to ke

A variety of burgers and snacks are available. Salad platters are good.

I had a very bad experience. I haven't been here since I was a teenager. So I thought it would be a good idea for me to take my son and 7 more other kids here March the 23rd 2025 for his 14th birthday let's start with the food it was not all that the burger that my husband ordered was cold, and stilll pink in the middle.I ordered some sliders for my kids that had too many veggies, and the kids complained because they were cold and pink in the middle too. We couldn't enjoy our food as a family because they

Like Chucky Cheese's for adults. Noisy. Even though we were there at an un busy time. Food was good, but weight watchers choices were limited. Had to look for and sometimes track down our servers.

My kids were here on a field trip from school. Also we come here all the time as a family. We always enjoy the food and games. Bowling, Billiards, Lasers and the music. The only drawback I noticed is that they are under-staffed. So the one or two staff on duty are always over-worked. I feel for them so much that even when they sometimes get cranky, I totally understand. So I don't take it personal. Otherwise, it's a fun place and very inexpensive place to visit

Before this place was sold to the new owners me and my come every other week traveling 45 miles to bowl and eat. If we always purchase the day passes and could long as we wanted to without getting kicked off the lane. The food is no more good , the Adult beverage are weak the vae tenders sucks you tastes more mix then alcohol don't even get a buzz take forever to get your order and my daughter and son in law food was given to someone else and we was sitting the food court by the kitchen our friends first ti

I took my kids to Main Event for a fun day and we all had a great time !The staff were friendly and , patient, Celine made us feel welcome and valued , she ensured our experience was seamless and enjoyable, She's an asset to the main event team!! the activities were well-organized and safe. We loved the variety of games and attractions

This place used to be really good to go and have good food and fun. Can still have fun but the quality of the food has considerably gone down hill. On 1/7/23 went with my granddaughter and I wanted a salad. Got the BLT salad with grilled chicken. Please tell me why they wanted to charge me over $13.00 for a bowl of brown slimy lettuce? Our server though was great when I let him know that I would not be eating it and let me get something else instead. Only reason for 3 stars is my granddaughter had fun and P

We were sooo satisfied. We took a cake there and were celebrating our friend?s birthday. A staff kindly gave us plates, forks, and lighter. Food is so so, but the service was totally awesome, especially the manager Tim. He helped us make sure we get our food without waiting too. We will absolutely be back!

The start of the service started rocky some of the staff need some training but towards the end it the gm fixed our issue and made it better and John was busy with all his tables but came to our rescue hands down one of the best servers I've met super sweet! And if we ever decide to come back it would be because of him. I'd also like to note the drinks were really good

My first time coming and it was really really nice. See photos. It was clean and the people were friendly and helpful. The location is good and the prices are economical. Also my shoes didn't stink ????

Not busy at all for a Saturday at noon. Great food, there was a lot. Games were all working, the mini escape room was fun and so was the laser tag

My partner and I booked a 2-hour session in advance, but unfortunately, we received no service at all during our visit. We were not greeted, nor were we offered even a glass of water. Despite approaching management three times to request a server, no one ever came to assist us. We played two games without any acknowledgment or service. The lack of attention made us feel as though we were being discriminated against, possibly due to racism because most of the guests there were white and received service. Upo

Great place to take the family. We were there for a birthday party. The staff were super friendly and very very patient.

We went here for Father's Day. It was a fun family adventure. Bowling, video games, skee ball, air hockey...we did them all. They also have laser tag and billiards, but we didn't do those. Service was good. The seating at the bowling lanes is kind of crowded, so the recommended 5 person limit per lane. I think 4 per lane is more comfortable. We got 2 lanes so we could spread our group out.

Fun place to spend with friends and family. Plenty of gaming machines, pool tables and bowling alleys. Had a blast playing Connect 4 Hoops and 4 player Pac-Man! But there were some unplayable broken machines. And three Mario Kart racing machines were down as well.

Simply not a fan of the policy of refusing reservations over the phone yet charging $10 convenience fee to reserve a lane online. Just another way to scrape every dollar you can from people who want to have fun, you worthless crooks.

A bit costly (what's not these days) have to pay 3 bucks just to get a card to get credits for games, lots of newer vr games and such and was a little more spaced out, but if your going just for games, nickelrama is a better deal, oh yeah. No pinball games :-( we didn't bowl so no review for that part

Kids had a great time. We went for Laser Tag which was awesome. However, we had one vest go down during game play so had to donate mine to my son. One of the air hockey tables let me play back to back about 7 times before I got bored and left but I just had to nudge it to reactive the air. Shared the secret with the party behind me and they were stoked!

The front desk Staff was very rude. Wasn't willing to help with the questions and kept denying giving the stuff even the table was empty. Though games and deals were good.

Staff was not very welcoming. They have poor staff management for a weekend they had one server for over 60 people in the bowling side. They got 3 stars because my girls had fun regardless.

Was here over the weekend for my baby sister?s birthday party and everyone had a blast. There are tons of games and entertainment activities and plenty of lanes for bowling. The food was decent and service was great as well. Thank you guys for being so accommodating!

We have been multiple times but the last 2 times had children beg us to pay for games to earn tickets so they can get prizes. We brought it to staff attention and it was dismissed. We watched the same kids scam multiple families or people, with their own parents or family within visible distance. It is annoying, absurd, and disturbing, given it was brought to staff attention. This has NEVER occurred at any other gaming facility, including Dave&Busters owned by the same company, and even Chuck E Cheese. I wo

I had a terrible experience at this place!!! If you look Latino they will surely treat you badly from the moment you walk in. They are racist, classist Brenden, the person at the front desk saw us and ignored us. We went to the bar and wanted to order food and they sent us to another area. We arrived and he asked him if they had hamburgers because on the signs they only have the menu for pizza and chicken strips. He says, "Oh, do you want someone who speaks Spanish?" I told him, "No, I'm asking you if you h

It was good but Customer service like they just don't care and crowded and boring games to spend on even 30 dollars but yeah they needs more game asap and also hard to win tickets

Everything was well maintained from the arcade to the bowling alley. The bathroom could of been a lot better though.

Went in with my friends and family on a Thursday afternoon for some bowling. We had a great time! Had to take it easy to let the kids win. The service and staff was great all around and the place was kept clean and orderly. A good way to spend an hour or so with the fam.

If you like Bowling or Playing Games, you will like Main Event. My husband and I enjoy subbing for our friend's bowling league. The food is really good - we like the pizza. We always have great service as well. The servers are always friendly and they make sure you don't go hungry or thirsty.

We had lots of fun. It was one of the smaller ones. It looked more like a bowling alley. They had a lot of lanes. Food was good and we had a great waitress!!

The chicken nachos were really bad.Cold, and dry "melted" cheese. Dont try them. However, the pizza was amazing!!

Very nice for bowling, birthday parties, game room, adult games such as pool tables, lazer tag, snack bar (pizza) , food menu located at bar and group events

Perfect place to engage kids. Place is clean.. Kids can play all day . Bowling and Laser tag was good.

It's a very fun place. The only thing I don't like is they don't offer an hourly rate like most places now days do. The fried pickles are the bomb!! The pizza is definitely lacking definitely not a 30.00 pizza. For an arcade they do a pretty good job of keeping the games fully functional. Definitely don't think that this will be an inexpensive family outing if you're on a budget. For 3 kids and 2 adults expect about 200.00 to 300.00 for a few solid hours of play time.

Decent prices, food and drinks are basic bar type food (not bad but nothing amazing) and service was good. I wish the arcade area was part of the all-day package or had a choice to pick and choose what activities you wanted or could do. We were a bit disappointed on the height restriction to play lazer tag because not all kids can play if they don't meet the minimum requirement.

This location is always enjoyable. The staff are always amazing & we will definitely continue to plan family fun nights here!

I came here and spent well over 400 dollars today I had to clean and wipe my own table in the food area when I asked a manager if he could have someone clean one all they did was pick up the trays no wiping the table nothing I had to do it myself as the staff watched absolutely disappointing also no toilet cover in restroom even though they have holders for them

Visiting from Michigan and this was our first time. We had a great time! Every activity is a bit pricey but they do offer a military discount, which was great :) we bowled and had some fun in the arcade. I like the set up, very spacious and easy to find everything.

Fun place, huge game room and multi bowling lanes. Our waitress was great and very helpful.

I stopped in the main event and did not get any food or bowling. Wanted to check out the arcade and do an escape room. Escape room was fun and very very big for what it was. We completed it with 20 minutes left on the clock. Had challenges and had a lot of unique features that I haven't seen in escape rooms before. The arcade is fully stocked with some of the newer games and they do have a lot of ticker redemption games as well so you can leave with a stuffed bear or something. Definitely a great place for

Great people. Went for a kids party there were 2 kids with the same name so it wasn't clear where we should go. Dawn and others got it sorted out in a calm / fun / efficient way. Kiddos had a blast.

We are visiting from Tacoma, Washington and visited this place last night! It was AMAZING! Great prices, staff, management and all! Our kids LOVED it. Everyone here was so nice and helpful. This was an experience we will never forget! Thanks Main Event! We will be back!

A great place to hangout with a group of friends for a few hours. I highly suggest the day pass esp if you want to do a few different activities. The staff was friendly, bowling alley scoring is very interactive and entertaining, a great experience overall.

Kids really enjoyed it. They liked bowling and laser tag, and arcade games were also fun.

Fun way to spend a few hours bowling with family.

Brought my child in to enjoy the arcade. This location is clean, and keeps sanitizing wipes stocked up. On the night we went Jeremy who was working the arcade area helped make the evening memorable for my little one, he was kind and put a smile on our face, and that's greatly appreciated.

There is still an hour and a half left to close and the workers treat you in such way for you to leave, wipe down right beside your drink and food, spray their cleaning chemicals, deny service etc

Coolest Air Hockey table ever!!

Danielle was such a sweetheart with amazing customer service. Also, thank you, Justin, for setting up bowling for my team.

We had a great time for a great price. Restroom does need a little more attention. But the place is overall clean. And good customer service overall

I always feel like a kid when I go here!! Had so much fun and the Christmas staff were amazing

Cooper in Laser tag was so awesome. He was so accommodating and made sure my five-year-old son had plenty of fun. Main event is lucky to have him.

This place which I thought was nice due to the location turned out to be a very horrible experience. The arcade was awesome the kids enjoyed but when it came to the food from the waiting to be served to the nasty bathrooms which didn't have tissue in some and only one soap dispenser that worked with 1/4 soap in it. We literally waited for 20 mins before anyone even asked if we needed any help. When we did get waited on the lady stated she just walked in and she didn't know what was going on. So we proceeded

My company held a Team Builder event. Had a blast. Staff was extremely attentive and friendly. I have no complaintsabout the amenities. The food was delivered to our tables promptly and hot. Need to work on their utensils though. Had two sets that were not clean "to my personal standards". And yes, I'm a stickler about cleanliness when it comes to my food no matter where I am.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?
