Main Event Oklahoma City

Main Event Oklahoma City

Reviews Summary

Main Event offers a mix of experiences, with many praising its fun atmosphere, diverse activities (bowling, arcade, laser tag), and friendly staff (especially servers like David and Kayla). Food quality varies—some find it good, others complain about poor quality, slow service, or high prices. Arcade maintenance issues and occasional rude staff are noted negatives. While families and groups often enjoy celebrations here, some report disappointing service or unmet expectations, particularly with private events or escape room management. Cleanliness and competitive pricing are pluses, but inconsistent service and value for money are recurring critiques.

My boys have always had birthdays at Arcades, jump zones, etc. It is so much easier to not clean after with a big family. ?? My son turned 12 and wanted his birthday at Main Event, and I gotta say that this was our favorite one! Our chaperone was awesome, everyone (all 15) ate, and their timeline of events was excellent; never a dull moment. They even give the bday boy a VIP card of activities he can do at ME. One of them was to challenge any employee at any game. The manager my son challenged was awesome

We went to Main Event this weekend for a friend?s birthday party. We waited to be seated for about 10 minutes before a woman cut in front of us and was sat before us. The host was hardly ever at the stand. We were sat at a table and then no one came to check on us for at least 20 minutes, never even asked what we wanted to drink. Horrible service, not to mention extremely expensive! $40 for a shareable food item. All appetizers at least $10. What's the point of having a restaurant if no one is going to ten

Absolute WORST pizza I've EVER had. Hardly no cheese, sauce, or toppings. It was super dry and no flavor whatsoever. The manager should be ashamed they allow food like this to come out, especially what they're charging for it.

Great time with the kids and the grown-ups! Bowl for a bit while you get a delicious bite to eat (I recommend the crispy chicken sandwich and loaded French fries), then have a cocktail while the kids enjoy a variety of entertainment; from laser tag to escape rooms, this place has it all!

We had such a great experience. All of the people are so friendly. Krystal was such an amazing server so kind and very efficient. David was great as well as CC. We are from California and we have had such an awesome experience. We will definitely be back again.

We ordered our food about 35 minutes ago and as you can see from the photos it is not very crowded. Took them about 20 minutes to bring me my drink. Not to mention the food is subpar as seen by the fried pickles we ordered. Two things should happen here, one management should be retrained or replaced and two take care of your customers who pay these kind of prices. This is probably the last time we will come here. If there is an inability to serve decent food with decent service do not serve food and just m

Great place for a kids birthday party. My daughter had a blast in the arcade with her friends. They served pizza and drinks at the birthday party and the hostess brought out cupcakes for dessert. The kids also got to do bowling with the bumper rails and a scavenger hunt. The bar had great drinks. This place on a Friday night was very lively!

They are busy but they still gave us the best service possible. David knocked it out of the park for our crew. Our buddy had a great 60th birthday party here.

10/10 recommend! This place is full of fun and great atmosphere! Our server Kayla was phenomenal and helped make the night more enjoyable! David was incredible with customer service and offering to get us anything else we needed!

I don't handle large crowds anymore, but I had to endure Southeast High School's Senior Fun Day. Though I didn't get the chance to play any of the games, I did try the food. The loaded fries were awesome! So much cheese & bacon, it didn't disappoint. My husband got the Double Bacon Burger & it looked impressive. He ate it before I got the chance to take a pic, which told me just how good it was. The kids had a good time. The staff did an amazing job, considering they juggled two graduating classes from dif

Went to main event today and it was my best experience yet! My bowling game stopped a few times and David went above and beyond to help. Callie did amazing with our food! Thank You!

Overall bad experience. Associate Summer was the only person with customer service skills. I got a $13 chicken Caesar salad. I don't recommend. It was the size of a side salad, not an entree. See pictures. The plate was maybe an inch deep. For that price, I could have gotten a burger and fries. When I questioned the manager about it, he offered nothing except to tell Corporate. He didn't offer to take it back or a discount. Nothing. The girls got kids meals. The server asked if they wanted fries. Yes.

Had a field trip today at Main Event. This place is nice. The food was good.

Excellent place to take kids, and have a great time. BOWLING, ARCADE, POOL TABLES, LAZER TAG, OBSTACLE COURSE! Have fun, no really, have fun! Be a kid again, and play with your kids!

Great bowling experience with the dudes ?? Latoya made sure we got the food we ordered and checked in on us for soda refills. More fun next time when the guys don't play for me ?? and thanks David!

I came in yesterday to celebrate a friend's birthday, bowling was fun! The kitchen was running behind, so it took us an hour & a half to get our food, but it was a 5-person platter, so we thought it would take a bit. We had a bit of an issue with our 2nd round of drinks, but the managers were nice enough & got them fixed. EJ was our server for the entire 4 years we were there last night (lol) & he was AMAZING, he was very friendly & apologetic in light of all the things going on, but we were just chillin, s

Cruz is absolutely amazing! Customer service and information was on point. I truly enjoyed speaking with him today! I will definitely remember the experience I had with him today! Great hire!

Every time I come here it's the same service. And it's just one word EXCELLENT, from the customer service to the food it's great. Callie, David and Berry keep me coming back . Great atmosphere for kids and adults. And very clean.

We were at my wife's work party so my wife & I played Pool. Ate, we then played air Hockey & had a blast. Some of the other people bowled. It's perfect for events but I found the food to be fair. The drinkers said the drinks were decent.

It was amazing time super friendly staff and the food was great, David and TY were very helpful

Seems like a great place to bring your family. We went for a birthday party, so while the kids were having fun with their friends, the wife and I went to grab a bite to eat at their restaurant. Immediately a sign said to go to the bowling lane and ask for a table, we did. After being seated, we waited for 20 or so minutes before anyone came and asked what we wanted to drink, drinks came quick and we put in a food order for some simple cheesy fries, after waiting another 30 minutes, we asked random employees

Oh. My. Gosh. Last time we came here was right after the COVID shutdown. And it was such a bad experience we swore we would never come back. Until NYE 2024. It was my son's birthday, and he REALLY wanted to come here. So we paid for the NYE 2 pm to 6 pm package. We drove 47 minutes to get here from where we live. The tickets were $35 for adults and $18.95 for the kids. For our crew, that means we spent $260 for the evening (5 adults, 2 kids). The adult tickets included 1 free kids meal per adult ticket and

The place was clean ?? and the staff were super friendly and they definitely treated us wonderfully. ?? It was disappointing that the facility had quite a few games out of service ??. They games ?? we played were fun. Kids enjoyed the laser tag and the wait time was very acceptable. Stella and Blaze had plenty of fun.

Ms. Christine was very informative and very helpful. It was our very first time ever visiting and she took the time out to answer all our questions and help us understand. Will definitely visit again.

My husband, me, and one of our friends decided that we wanted to spend some time at Main Event, what we weren't expecting was the employees attitude towards us. They were dismissive and acted like they did not want us to be there. Mind you we walked in at 8 p.m. and they close at 12. We were incredibly disappointed with this experience. We only had one good experience with one employee other than that the rest were dismissive and blantanly rude. The manager was more than helpful and was genuinely angry at h

David and Erica were great. We had a little hiccup with the original lanes that we were on, and they were fantastic at accommodating us!! Top notch

The people who work here are all rude. No one smiled, anytime we asked for help the staff would just look at us dumbfounded. The prices for everything aren't terrible but the over all environment makes you not want to go back with how unwelcoming everyone is. Then we got asked to write a review so they could get raises.

As out-of-state visitors to Oklahoma, we were looking forward to spending quality time with our kids at what initially seemed like a fun and family-friendly venue. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing due to the unprofessional behavior of one of the associates, Jace. Our concerns began when we asked Jace to activate the bowling lane we had been assigned. His response was noticeably passive-aggressive, which later escalated to overt verbal aggression. About 30 minutes into our game, two bowling b

update, better service this time around. I was impressed. I thought it would be packed but with all of the people it wasn't congested. We purchased game cards with credit and there was a good selection of games. We ate at the restaurant. The food was good but the service was less than mediocre. To top it off, we were told we were sent the wrong receipt, and the bathrooms really needed some love. Neither was a deal breaker and we will return; but we may pass on the food portion and stick to the games.

We spent $376 for 4 people. Half of the games take your credits w/o play and the food service was awful. If you're going to charge these prices, good service is a MUST. Upon arriving in the dining area, there was a ?wait to be seated? sign. I don't know how many employees saw us before we had to walk up to one of them and get there to be seated. I heat them radio that 4 have been seated at table x. We then sat at our table for about 15 minutes before our server came over to take our drink order. The crazy

Way too expensive. We paid hundreds of dollars for several children then there wasn't anyone to let us in the escape room that we'd already paid for! Don't bother getting a manager (especially Jacob) bc he'll just say someone will be with you after they facilitate another game. Useless. My issue with this place besides the prices being astronomical, is after you've paid, you still have to sign up for the escape room, laser tag and the gravity ropes. Yet there's either no one to sign you up OR the line is s

Upon arrival, we were greeted at the door with a smile, which is one of the first things that I look for when walking into a new place. We sat down to eat, most options were slightly steep but to be expected when eating in a place like this. It was amazing and the serving sizes were fair. We bowled and had a bit of trouble with our lane but the workers were quick to fix the issue and get us back and running. We played arcade game with no issues. I did not like that I had to order an icee for my child at the

Food was pretty good and not too expensive! However there's very few arcade games and half were out of order/improperly working. The price of bowing is RIDICULOUS. I attached a photo that shows the price of bowling for 2 hours with 2 adults only. You'd be better off spending the same amount of money somewhere else where there's more to do than drink overpriced cocktails. Also a $10 convenience fee?? Greedy.

Not great, not terrible. Rhythm game selection is kind of lacking so go to Round1 if you're for that. Food's a bit pricy but that's how it goes for these places, just eat out before coming here if you're on your own Otherwise they have a good chunk of activities to do, their overhead climb is a nice novelty and laser tag will always be fun in some form

I had a great time and experience. My server/host David was great. I'll go back anytime as long as David is our host

Went bowling played arcade games had drinks and food. Nathan and David were so awesome at the escape rooms. Great way to celebrate my kiddo graduating high school!

Main Event OKC has always been a fun experience for our whole family. We typically get the meals that come with game tokens which is always enough for our kids to enjoy some games. Our kids aren't big enough to do the ropes course just yet, but they beg us every time we go as it looks really cool. We have done laser tag which is a fun setup and something the whole family can do. The food has always been good every time we go. Overall it is a bit pricey, but you really can't put a price tag on making memorie

I came to this main event bought the unlimited pass and not a single thing was available to do.. i wasn't informed about the 5 hour wait for everything until after I paid.. this was my first experience with a main event. Totally understaffed. We kept waiting in line for things and constantly getting cut in line because there is no direction.. half the games we used the card on were missing parts or didn't work at all..plus the power kept turning off.. this was honestly just a pure waste of money and felt s

Our granddaughter and friends went bowling for her birthday. We've always had a good time until that night. Pins kept falling on the second ball, staff said they couldn't do anything about it and didn't even offer a comp price or discount. I'm very disappointed after we've spent so much money there numerous times. I guess they no longer value our money. ?I spent $75 to bowl. No we didn't eat. The atmosphere was chill. When I asked about the bowling they said it was nothing they could do about it and didn?

We had our school field trip at Main Event OKC on 4/30/25. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly. There were two individuals that took excellent care of our group. Ryan & Carroll were fantastic! They made sure the trip for our group was amazing!

We had a great time at main event! David helped us out at the bowling alley and made sure we were well taken care of!

UPDATE: I submitted this review online to the management team and NO ONE has been in touch. My review drops even lower and my satisfaction (if possible) is absolutely and utterly rock bottom. Will not likely be going back as I spent almost $200 and was SO INCREDIBLY UNSATISFIED Where to begin? well. Don't bother making a reservation. You'll wait just as long to be just as inconvenienced and just as ignored. Paid for bowling and billiards online and the staff had never heard you could book billiards online

Very good fun and inviting atmosphere. David greeted us while we walked up to the bowling, and our server Ty immediately greeted us for drinks. 10/10 experience from them both. They were both very attentive. David helped us with our bowling lane and was very heplful. Exceptional service and atmosphere.

Our organization brought 14 people to celebrate the end of the season for youth volunteers. The staff was accommodating and very friendly. The food was fresh and arrived to us on time. We will be back next year to celebrate here again. Thanks ????

Went there today for my son's field trip. My son and I wanted to try the King Kong VR, so we both scanned our play cards. It took our credits, but my headset never worked, and my son's only worked for a second. Then my son scanned another game, and it never wormed. Both games did deduct our credits by the way. When I reported it, the clerk said he would try to attend to it when he wasn't as busy. He never again made an attempt to make it right. Ok, why not just make it right, and refund the credits right t

Main Event Oklahoma City is a Clean, well managed and a fun place for kids and family to spend decent time. Their pricing is competitive. Food is good & more of a fast food style. The staff is friendly & engaging. A lot of arcade games, climbing area, Lazer tag, gift shop, pizza shop, pool tables, shuffle board and 26 bowling lanes. Definitely recommended! ????

We came here for my daughter's birthday with a party of 6 people. The parking was great and we were able to get a parking spot right by the front door. On the front doors it states that masks are required First we headed to get some food and easily found two empty booths. We ordered the food off of a printed copy of the menu. It took about 5 minutes for a waitress to come by then about 15 minutes for our food to arrive. It was a bit pricey at around $90.00 for the six of us but it was also delicious and ve

Drove 30ish min only to be told the whole place was closed for a private event. Having private events are fine but you should change the goggle page for your location say closed or something because I checked before we headed out and nothing indicated that the place was closed to the public. Super frustrating and a waste of gas and time. Now I'll never come back because I'll never know if it's open or not.

Excellent staff. Clean establishment. The greeter at the door answered all my questions and the lady at the bar where we ordered food was very friendly. The nachos would easily feed two to three people and definitely worth the price. The burgers are double meat and good size. Fries seasoned just right.

I went here about 2 weeks ago with my little brother's & I've got to say this place has changed a lot. Of course in a good way tho. The food is absolutely amazing, so many more options to choose from vs how it was 3 years ago. They have an escape room which is something new. For food, instead of going up & ording they have you sit at a table and a server takes care of your order. The prices on prizes have definitely gone up but I loved it & had so much fun

Had my daughter?s 13th birthday here and it was not worth the money. Definitely could have spent over $300 elsewhere and got more bang for her buck!

EVERYONE WATCH OUT FOR krystal!! She she tips 20% and the mangers really don't give a damn at all . She sat up there and gaslighted me and my friends right in front of our faces!! Customer service was trash and krystal and her manager are really unprofessional individuals I have ever met. If you want to save your money DONT GO TO THIS ONE!!

My son and his friends had the best time for his 16th birthday party. Our party host was fantastic!! She kept everything moving, kept our drinks filled, was so friendly, and explained everything very well. There was so much food, and we had leftovers to take home. The kids loved the food! They had so much fun with Laser Tag and the unlimited arcade for 2 hours. I had a difficult time getting them out the door at the end of the evening! Kudos to Main Event!!

There was a lot to do here!! Bowling, pool, escape rooms, and lots more. We had people of different ages groups with us and they all had fun. The food is average, nothing I'd come back for. But we'd definitely come here again for everything else!!

Went on a Fri at 4 and stayed until 7. I was surprised by the lack of staff. Everyone there was doing the best they could but they just couldn't keep up with the number of customers. Food was good. Place was clean.

I called to find out about their pricing and Brad was such a huge help. He took me through all of the options and helped me figure out what me and my family wanted to do and the best way we could go about doing it. When we got there we had so much fun! All of the food we got was top notch! We will definitely be back again!

!!!!!THIS IS YOUR SIGN TO GO TO HAYDAY!!!! We got drinks, good, but over priced. Then we arrived and asked for the pass for all of the activities such as ropes, bowling, and laser tag. Only to not be told at the desk all would be closing in 10 minutes except for laser tag. The lady at the front desk mumbled to us and shoo?ed us off. Very rude. LASER TAG DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY!! GAMES ARE BROKEN!!! As we were about to play cup pong we scanned our card and then the scanner fell to the ground only to be held on

Easily the worst way to spend any your birthday. I wish 0 stars was an option. This establishment had the worst employees you've ever met in your life, half of them were incompetent and a different kind of rude and couldn't give any helpful information. Over half of the arcade games were broken, they shut down everything over an hour before close, and I'm disgusted that my group spent so much money here. I was excited to do something fun and our money was completely wasted. Please, if there is anything good

David and ty did awesome! we got our food and drinks whenever we needed them! had an amazing time

Had a great experience with our family tonight. We LOVED the escape rooms. Nathan was absolutely incredible helping us with them. The best customer service I have seen. Highly recommend this place has great food, and fun arcade games and plenty of space as well. Will be back again.

I had a great time bowling at main event! David and Erica helped us out during our time here and did a great job!

I brought a group of 16 middle school students. Everyone had a blast. Main Event has great group rates, and they worked hard to make sure everything was ready for us. The ropes course and laser tag were great hits!

David and Cayla were amazing staff! Great help! I loved bowling with the whole family!

This place is so awesome and there is so much fun for the kids. We had a great experience and our servers were so sweet Krystal and David made our experience fantastic. Will be back again

Main Event is a blast! Great games, bowling, and awesome food. David and Ty were great servers and made sure we were taken care of. The place is clean and well organized. Perfect for family fun!

Every grand child birthday parties are here. Smells clean and pizza delicious. Very fun atomphere. I love it its the best! I recommend everyone come here. Servers are wonderful!

I came with my family to main event to enjoy the bowling experience and we will definitely be coming back! Nice environment and Nate and David were very friendly!

BEST STAFF IN THE WORLD! They made my experience awesome! David was the best

They had so many things to do!!! Arcade, bowling, escape room and laser tag. The milkshake is really good, and the server David was really helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this place for a fun day out with family and friends

We had an amazing time bowling at main event David and Erica were both so sweet and helpful.

Went hoping to play the VR games. They take 4 games worth of credits and the headsets don't work. Super disappointed. Other than that fun place.

The ratings I'm giving here are really inappropriate. Not because Main Event deserved better, but because in most respects, they deserved less than one star. Nearly every aspect of our experience at Main Event yesterday was a complete and utter disaster. The calamity started when the front desk was unable to find our bowling lane reservation - we had reserved two lanes and even paid in advance, but even when shown the confirmation, the front desk attendant was either unable or unwilling to accommodate th

About a third to half of the arcade machines just eat your money and don't work. The bowling is pretty good. The laser tag used to be good, but the new vests and guns are clunky. They had a booth setup at the main entrance where they'd ask people to write a Google review in exchange for Freeplay time at the arcade. I declined. pizza was good, loaded fries were bad. Not a bad night out, but it used to be better in my opinion.

Kay was fantastic and the food was really good. Everything came out in a timely fashion and was solid. No complaints about the restaurant, just need to see how well we do on the games!

David and ty helped us on our food services and bowling. They get to us very quickly and on time. Whenever we need something, they were always there. You will not regret coming here.

They had a power outage due to Highwinds and they still had it open for us to go bowling. Had a great time with my wife and daughter and the service was still amazing. Thank you to David and Maya for all the help! Can't wait to come back again

extraordinary staff, overall the place was so fun and very entertaining David was the best.

Great fun place to interact with family and friends!! Thank you to David and Kayla that were great!

Great time with are whole family. Our family came in from California and Alaska and had a great time! Thanks for the good service.

This is our first time here and it was so much fun. And the food was great. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

I do not recommend going to this main event. The service was horrible. Most of the workers were rude, one girl was chewing something while talking to us, and another worker completely ignored us. We tried to get food for over an hour and right when we were about to order food they said kitchen was closed. Half the arcade games didn't work but still took credits off our game card. The only fun experience was bowling. Definitely go to other Main event locations.

David and kayla our server were great. Had a good time

This place have it all, good drinks, food, games, we had a lot of fun, games are addictive. my wife and I had a good time there. but it need more prizes for low score (like 200 to 600), they also need to keep the prizes clean ( merchandise was dirty or damaged). the games were all working, they need to attend better the tables, the costumers leaved the cups everywhere and no one was picking them.....

Michelle was great at checking and making sure we had everything we needed. Krystal was a great server.

First time visit! 2:25 Arrived, no greeting or directional signs 3:00 Escape ordered (~30mins in line) 3:05 Sat (Noah) 3:08 Drinks, no suggestions (Noah, asked to start fried pickles) 3:15 Ordered, no suggestions (Christine (manager), asked who our server was because I suppose she forgot to manage that knowledge, only saw 1 time after, overlooked us, seemed scrambled and torn -- everybody did) 3:30 Fried pickles (Alisha, no forks, got napkins) 3:54 Status check (alisha, pink shirt) 3:55 Returned to clarify

My party of six started off by having to wait in line for 30 minutes to purchase the activity passes. There was only one woman working the counter where we could purchase the passes. The main counter was extremely understaffed for such a long line on a busy Friday afternoon. I ventured over to the bar area and my server was by herself taking orders for the whole bar area. She was overworked and understaffed. She charged us $16 dollars for a crown and coke, and it took forever for her to bring it to our

About a third to half of the arcade machines just eat your money and don't work. I took both my boys out for some family fun we paid for 4 different basketball games that didn't work right 2 different Skiball games didn't work paid for the large spin wheel that just ate our money the racing game steering wheels wasn't working right and I seen so many games out of service poor maintenance on arcades that place it self was clean that's y I put the 3 stars

The best place for a birthday party!! And Brad was very helpful with any questions. The staff is so friendly and supportive!!

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
