My son recently had his birthday with friends here (great deal on weekday and Sunday). The food they served with the birthday was so delicious and brought in my own cake. Everyone was helpful and great with the kids.
I used to play pool at another place, but they closed today, so I came here. I've never had such a bad experience at the Main Event, both the customer service and pool table. There were two people at the front desk ?one handled online reservations and the other for walk-ins. There were three groups ahead of us and three more behind us, so the wait at the front was long. A gentleman helped us, and he was eating chips while serving and talking to the customers. Two of his fingers were covered in chips powder
My son got the 1000 on the Big Bass!!! We went to check our card and we didn't even have 100 on it. The guy in the prize room said they don't give the full points. That's just wrong!! We had a great time but that really brought my son win down! I never been to a place where they don't give the full win!! Why have it, if you don't give the full win. Very misleading.
My family and I went to Main Event on Saturday and had a few hiccups with the staff and our food wait times. I'm definitely not one to complain and this isn't a complaint. I know things happen and staff can get overwhelmed just like us. The food is normally great and their servers are always nice. We expressed our concerns to Rocky and she completely made a difference in how we felt. She was empathetic and very kind. I see that they do care and really listen to feedback. She was apologetic and offered to ma
Tonight?s team was absolutely AMAZING. We brought our two kids in to celebrate their kindergarten and pre school graduation. When they walked in with their little caps and gowns on, the main event crew was cheering, whistling, clapping, and giving high fives to my kids! They helped make my kids see the importance of school and working hard! When we finished paying and walked towards the arcade they had all of the staff, and guests lined up as a tunnel for my babies to run through! It was the most amazing, h
Went to Main Event to bowl and had a really good time! The staff were super friendly, the place was clean, and the prices were pretty reasonable. Definitely planning to go back again!
I booked a party here for my daughter and unfortunately had a bad experience with the service provided. I showed up 30min before the scheduled time to find no area or host was prepared for the event. We didn't receive all the food I purchased and I also had to go back the next to pickup the goodie bags as they were not prepared either. I don't recommend this place for any booking events. It's understandable some mistakes might happen when a place is busy, but we were the only party within the 3+hrs being th
Me and my friends went today and although front desk gave good service we had a terrible waiter, he came up to us relatively quick when we got to the bowling lane but took forever to bring me my icee and my friend had to ask twice fir a simple glass of water, but the server/waiter for the pool area was really nice and brought us water really fast
We went for my niece graduation celebration. The staff was very professional, down to Earth, accurate, accommodating, and fast. The drinks and food were delicious!!! The staff joined us in line dancing, very tasteful!!! I will definitely be enjoying this location again ?? ????????????
Shout out to Rocky ! I needed some help to buy a game card and there is a lady who works there named " Rocky" and she was super professional !! Very nice to me and she helped me and my daughter with lots of things. I plan to go back there soon. Thanks again Rocky for your excellent customer service !
Fun, family-oriented, and multi-activity entertainment center. My family could spend all day and enjoy all the games and sports they offer. You won't have to leave the place and get everything you need. Their restaurant food is OK. You won't get Michelle Star quality food, but when you are having so much fun, it won't matter. They offer all types of activities that all ages can enjoy. Also, if you get a play pass on a weekday, it won't drain your wallet either.
my experience was great went with a group of 5 and Gail was my server, she was so nice and friendly came check on us mutiple time make sure everything are good.
A little dated now. Eg air hockey tables don't work and hardly any staff around to help.
Went for the early bird day pass, what a great value. Ordered food and drinks, all solid and reasonably priced. Lane service was great. The dude working his butt off at the front desk needs support from the people hanging around chatting when there's a line forming. Yes, some games aren't working and aren't labeled as unavailable. Lost credits at 1 of the 4 air hockey tables because of no puck, 3 we're available. Lost credits on ghost busters because the right gun is stuck shooting the top off the screen.
We were given bad information about our birthday package in regard to the menu. We had a pizza spill while bowling and the party host never cleaned it up. Due to the bad information on the menu I ended up ordering a separate order and after about 45 minutes I got burnt dry chicken which we didn't eat so it was a complete waste of money. The party host asked if I could pay the tab and we never saw him again. We had the same birthday party package the previous year and it was awesome. Maybe this was an off da
My company has an annual summer event at Main Event for the last 15 years. It is a family event, so one of my daughters is addicted to the Wizard of Oz game. I have collected cards from this game for several years to get enough points to purchase a Nintendo switch. My girlfriend, my daughter and I went to Lewisville Grapevine Frisco Plano Main events in order to collect cards to get the full set of cards, which gets you 2,000 points. We all had a fun time questing to get this for our daughter!
Went to the establishment to grab a bite to eat, workers looked overworked and clocked out for the day. The bar was Filled up with dirty dishes With hardly anywhere to sit. Once I was finally greeted, the bartender seems to be helpful and nice, but he tipped his self an additional $10 On my bill. Which total to over 50% and my bank contacted me Confirming the amount.
During our visit, I noticed that several arcade machines were out of order without any signage, which was frustrating. Unfortunately, the dining experience was also disappointing. We waited an hour and a half for our food, only to receive overcooked and dry dishes. The cheesy Brussels sprouts were burnt, the chicken nachos were underwhelming, and while the pretzel bites were decent, they were also slightly overcooked. The highlight of our visit was the staff member at the entrance he was friendly, informati
If you're looking for a great spot for food and fun, Main Event is the place to be! Their menu has something for everyone, and the food is top-notch. I particularly loved their pizzas and wings ? perfect for sharing while you play. Speaking of games, the variety is fantastic! From bowling and laser tag to a wide selection of arcade games, there's never a dull moment. Our server Gail is super friendly and always ready to help. Whether you're planning a family outing or a night out with friends, Main Event ha
Ms. Gail provided us with an excellent service, I will definitely be bringing my family and I back here. I felt so welcomed and at ease! Great food , great service you can't beat that!
Main Event here at Lewisville is a very nice place to go for a weekend night out. My family was helped by a lovely server named, Gail! She was great service and would highly recommend getting her to get food orders in. The prices are very reasonable when it comes to bowling. There is actually a summer promotion where you can bowl for an unlimited amount of times.
Rocky, the manager of this place, is a wonderful person. We had a school event here, and she handled a LOT of of kids and a lot of requests with a smile every single tine. Total patience and professionalism. Fun place!
Alejandro was our server, straight out of training and he did amazingly. Wonderful smile, great personality, and friendly. He made our experience worth while!
Gail was the best server I have had in a long long time at any establishment. From the moment I walked in she immediately asked if I had ever been there before and proceeded to help me make the best food and entertainment selections for myself and my four kiddos. Truly amazing service from her!
This location is the closest to my home. Every time I go there the women?s bathroom is disgusting. I'm not sure why people are so dirty but the employees don't take any time to clean the bathrooms. I have to report that the bathroom needs cleaning every time I go. They don't provide proper feminine hygiene bins for women to dispose of their feminine hygiene products. Most are broken and there have been pads just sitting in the open. I couldn't even use the bathroom there. Even after informing staff members,
Loved it so much was one of my first times coming with my family kids loved it my wife to we also loved that the service is very great. I got the name of the person who handed my food he was very nice and had also gave napkins and silver wear so I just want to say thank you to Jonathan.
I don't normally leave reviews but I felt compelled to go out of my way to let people know to NEVER visit this Main Event. Dreary and decrepit atmosphere even on a Friday night. Half the games don't work but that card reader definitely does. So you swipe and you lose points but don't get to play. F.O.H. Last but not least I ordered one serving of fries that took 40 minutes to arrive. Know why? Because after going up to the counter to ask about them I hear they've been sent to my table. Only to find the st
We came in for a family bowling game. We ordered the sampler for appetizers and could not substitute the Brussels sprouts for anything else. I asked if we could get a substitute and was told no. Service was slow due to limited employers. Although- Justin was always available and helped us in any way he could! He was the Best!!!
Been a while since I've been here. Mostly the same with clean facilities. Unfortunately the services was less than good. The person checking us in for bowling was not too enthusiastic. The real issue was that we asked for a server. They never came but we saw them dancing and walking around so I guess we weren't important enough to get service. Maybe they have better service when it's busier but this is why main even isn't on my top places to go.
Gail was my server and she was so nice, always checking in with us constantly. So nice! Would recommend again!
I paid for one of the packages for my daughters birthday. They charge you a service fee, but i wasn't sure if it was the tip or not. I asked mainevent on Twitter on Friday. On Saturday, the day of the birthday i asked the manager of the hosts, and she said it wasn't a tip. So i paid a tip. On Monday Mainevent on Twitter told me that it was indeed a tip. So i tipped twice (service fee + tip). We had a good time, it's just this inconsistency that feels like i was lied to ok not paying two tips.
My family has been twice now, both times during the week. This time was on Thursday January 23rd. Similar experience previously. We waited 15 minutes for anyone to make contact with us in the restaurant, waited another 30 minutes for drinks from the bar. The food order missed one of 6 dinners. We then bowled and wanted to make a drink order but never had anyone come by. We walked to the bar and my 7 year old grand daughter went with me, the female bartender raised her voice and said kids can't stand by the
My time was all fun and games until they started allowing KIDS into the pool area. I got hit with billiard balls because they're not playing actual Pool. the Pool area seems like a bar area, designated for grownups. there should not be 10 kids at one pool table sword fighting without parents around. I Also want to add that Sam the Bartender was Amazing and i appreciated her very much The front desk where we got the pool balls was so amazing as well, i didn't catch a name. However we will not be coming back.
This establishment needs to be reported to the city of Lewisville?s environmental department for unsanitary conditions. The women?s facilities were filthy. I asked if there was someone to clean and the staff member stated he did not know. The trash bins in the dining spaces were overflowing with trash. We received the wrong food and drink orders 3 times. The service was terrible. Our party was placed at someone else?s bowling bays after we waited over an hour to bowl. We then had to vacate and wait again. 1
We had so much fun here from the staff to the atmosphere. It was a great 1st experience. The staff was very helpful & they even played video games with us. Food was not amazing but it wasnt terrible. We will definitely go back but this time with the kids back
I've been to another Main Event in Florida that had more options but for the most part it was similar. Getting game cards and signing up for bowling was quick and easy. The guy at the front was nice and answered our questions. Everything looked clean. The reasons I am not rating 5 ? is due to a few things: *No one came to take our order (had to find someone). *Waiting for food took longer compared to going to a restaurant. *The cheese sticks my friend ordered were burnt so much that she didn't eat it. The
Gail- Mrs. Gail was very awesome! She made sure we were good at all times. Customer service is A-1. The food was good. The atmosphere was good. And the vibes were good. I will definitely be back. The manager also came up to us and introduced hisself to us and told us If we needed anything to let him know.
Lewisville Main Event is nice place. Value for money for Ambience, Service and Food. Amanda Brown really helped us with all the details and helped us in finding a good deal. Thank you Amanda for your help!
I'm thankful today for Jonathan's friendly service. I always enjoy coming here with my daughter and friends. I'll definitely be back again soon.
Had our son's 8th Birthday party here and it was a blast! You have a designated attendant that makes things so much easier. She was helping with utensils, refills, game cards etc. It made things very easy and the kids enjoyed all of the games and activities! Definitely recommend.
A Thrilling Adventure: Laser Tag and Entertainment Games with Bowling I recently had an absolute blast at the laser tag and entertainment games center that also features bowling. This place offers an action-packed experience that is perfect for friends, families, and even team-building events. Let's start with laser tag?the heart-pounding, adrenaline-fueled game that had me on the edge of my seat. The laser tag arena was well-designed, with intricate obstacles and exciting lighting effects that created an
Our server was Gail and she was amazing! She was so nice and made she we had everything we needed. She checked up on us a lot and was very fast bringing out the food. I hope we get her as our server next time!
The place has a great family and friendly atmosphere. I would only suggest that the bar and seating area to sit and order food could use a bit more attention. The service improved when the next shift came in, but before the change it took almost 40 minutes just to place our order and and almost the same amount of time to get our food. It was cold and my nieces dessert was nearly completely melted. The lady that took over was awesome though. She was very attentive and helpful, she was the best.
Gail was a consummate professional, making us feel at home and welcome. Could not have asked for a better birthday party for my six year old cousin. Again, Gail was a complete sweetheart and waited on our every need.
I went here with my girlfriend and it was a good time! Server Ja "pronounced jaw" not sure if I spelled his name right but he was amazing! The food was good. We got the 40$ platter for the 2 of us, ate as much as we could felt full and still took some food home! Unfortunately they do not do the cheap night deal which I believe is tuesday at there location which was the big reason we went. They still had some kind of deal but wasn't nearly as good as what Main Event promotes. Still had a blast!
I'm DEFINITELY going back here !!! My daughter dressed 80s style ???????? With the glowing lights making it such a vibrant colorful experience , Playing games at the arcade like pac man , Frogger , getting our pics taken at a photo booth, bowling with neon lit pins , great service from fhe staff , great music ... I didn't want to leave. I would give this more stars if I could because it most certainly was an awesome experience especially to do while we are having this heat and outdoors is pretty much impo
Gail was such an amazing person so attentive , sweet, and honest. Management had miss communication , btw their honey peperoncino pizza the best!
We had such a great experience at Main Event for my niece's birthday party! Our waitress, Gail, was very attentive and explained the menu expertly. We will definitely come back.
This establishment is fun. A little on the pricey side when it comes to arcade games and food. The food does take awhile to come out, but when it does it is hot. (That's a good thing). The place is fun, the atmosphere is inviting. The staff . . . Could be more inviting or friendly I guess. They never acknowledged any one in our party except our server when it was time for food but that's probably because it's her job. There is something for the whole family. Bowling, laser tag, arcade gamea, photo booths,
Love this place always nice and clean! Gail is amazing person
Really a terrible , bad and sad experience at this ME, Lewisville. We had a great experience at their Grapevine. Location, assuming similar standards we ended up booking this venue for a bday party. It turned out to be a disaster from the start where the start times were mixed up. The host was nowhere to be found and had to be brought back and nudged for each and every bit of stuff to be done - for everything needed he will go MIA for 10 minutes and then we need to search and bring him back. The escalation
The food?s not bad, but obviously we don't come here for the food so not any high expectations:) but the workers here are really nice and friendly, especially at the bar and in the prize room! I definitely would come here again !
I've been coming here for years and I plan to continue doing so if I'm still living in this area. From Bowling to billiards, lunar golf, laser tag, shuffle board, lots of arcades and games to choose from, and mini bars, they have everything one person or an entire family would need for a great time! The staff is friendly and helpful, I've never had a problem with any of them. This specific location most definitely deserves a 5 star review hands down. It's always fun to be a kid again ????
DO NOT GO HERE ? Awful Experience On 3/17, I brought my fianc?e and little brother to Main Event, expecting a fun night based on our experience at a different location. Instead, it was a complete waste of time and money. We spent $90 on unlimited bowling, laser tag, and pool?plus $23 on drinks?but everything about the visit was frustrating. We stood at the entrance for nearly 7 minutes without being acknowledged. After paying, we got to our bowling lane and waited 20 minutes for a server, despite the plac
We had a nice time here, enjoyed good drinks and Gail took great care of us! She was very attentive. Will come back for sure.
the food is amazing, the atmosphere gives such good energy and great vibes. our waitress Gail was soo amazing, very fun and nice, very helpful to me and all of my friends, so friendly, she made our stay so much more comfortable. this is my very first time here and i will definitely be returning again soon!
We took our 13 year old grandson here. The game area was fine. We did the bowling thing, which was no fun for me because it is timed, and it feels like you are just hurrying to get through it. We had to ask an employee 3 times if we could order food, and no one came to take our order. I finally complained, and a manager came over and took our order. I will say, because it took so long to get food, they gave us an extra 30 minutes of bowling time. The men's bathroom was very unclean. There was throw up
The pizzas were delicious ?? and bowling was a hit with all the kids. Arika was extremely helpful and attentive. Will definitely come back !
We just had our daughter?s birthday party here and it was a great experience! We did the pancake and bowling party and I would absolutely recommend. The host was very helpful and made sure the party ran smoothly. We also had the best experience with Baxter in the Winner?s Circle! He is one of the kindest people I've ever met and he made our birthday girl?s day extra special.
I had an excellent experience! The service provided by Gail was outstanding?friendly, attentive, and professional. "Gail"ensured everything was perfect and made the visit memorable. Highly recommend this place for top-notch service!
Gail was a great server. Very attentive & accommodating!!
This place was great. Jonathan the manager was super nice and helpful with anything we needed. We had a good time.
Came here with friends & had an amazing time! First time here in a long time! We definitely enjoyed the Pizza, Loaded Fries & the Funnel Cake Fries were the biggest hit!!! Gail was a great server!
I want to give a shout out to games for Wade mercaides and Michelle GAME PRICES Tiana and taya bar tenders John and Brady they took really good care of our family great place to enjoy family time the place is clean and well managed security on point thanks to briley thank you main event
Gail was great. She was constantly checking on our tablet and help us with a smile on her face! Gail you rock! For more servers like you ??
Great Spot for Family! Only Complaint don't get Bands if there are more 6 people per lane We never Finished a game because the games are on a timer. So the only benefit to the band is unlimited play. But what good is it if you can't finish a game
What a fun experience for our family while we were visiting Texas. Our first time to the Main Event and it was a good one. Our server Gail was friendly and went above and beyond to take care of us. Our orders were correct and the food was delicious.
Came here for my birthday and the service was nothing short of amazing. Gail took care of everything we asked for and made sure we always had our drinks topped off and answered all of our questions with such an upbeat and friendly attitude. I definitely will come back and would highly recommend coming here.
Needs updating badly. We were moved 3 times on the bowling lanes because they didn't work properly. Service was great.
You don't go there for the food. The games are awesome and bowling was nice. Service was great. Chloe was a wonderful server.
Everyone here looked like they HATED their job. We celebrated my nephew's birthday just this last Sunday here. We obviously came to eat and enjoy bowling but even to put in an order or even get refills of water there was no one to be found, and a slight look on their face of dislike to be attending us once we found a person that could. We ordered the queso appetizer it was good. Pizza was pizza. We definitely still celebrated though!
The service is absolutely terrible (the place wasn't busy when we got there), it took 20 minutes just to get someone to take our order for drinks, and then OVER AN HOUR to get one item off the menu. We were told by the server that he gave it away to customers so we had to wait another 30 minutes for a burger that tasted horrible and raw might I add. When we were served a beer, it was wrong and when we told them, he called us liars and laughed. We will not be going back to this place. We paid for two hours o
Great place to visit when it's not super busy. We came during the week, and there's hardly anyone here. Very expensive but you get what you pay for. I don't agree with a set pricing for each activity, for example, $8 for all you can play laser tag, it's very unlikely I want to do that more than 2, 3 times. Better pricing system would be a set price for 1 round of each activity, so we can try them all out. :)
Gail was a great server and told us about all the new food choices which were all delicious ??
Great atmosphere. Amazing wait staff. Shout-out to the best server, Gail. She was attentive and patient. Will definitely return soon.
Your bartender on Friday night 12/20 10p is losing you money. No one can understand him and the area around his bar is a mess and trash has been on the ground for hours. It's not that busy. The attendant/server Shae (sp?) is the only reason this isn't a 1 star review she was fantastic. The place is a mess.
Gail was amazing and on top of everything. The other servers/staff could learn a thing or two from her quick, polite and professional service. Wouldn't want anyone else but her when I come.
Fantastic staff working the front desk on Friday night 6/9. Very pleasant experience. Lots of activities to choose from.
We bought the all day pass and had a great time! Andy took care of us during our first bowling session. We really enjoyed the laser tag! Then we bowled again later in the day and Gail was our top-notch server! She was very attentive and helpful. Our party had the supreme pizza, loaded fries, and a cheeseburger. Everything was absolutely wonderful! I was pleasantly surprised. We will all definitely be coming back!
Awesome place. We got the $20 unlimited play on a Sunday. We got there right after it opened and there was literally no one else there but staff. It was unlimited bowling, lazer tag, and mini golf. My family and I were the only 5 in the lazer tag arena as well as the mini golf. Bowling was awesome the shoes were clean, wide selection of bowling balls, nice lanes, plenty of TVs with sports on. The billiards area was really nice, there is a bar and they serve food to you in the lanes. Love this place. I would
My experience at Main Event surpassed expectations, delivering a memorable day filled with fun and laughter. I wholeheartedly recommend Main Event to anyone seeking an unforgettable entertainment experience. Whether with friends, family, or colleagues, Main Event promises a fantastic time for all ages.
We had great customer service at the entrance, but were disappointed with the games. Several machines were malfunctioning. Other than that, our kids had a good time.
I had an amazing time at the main event at Louisville. Ms.Rocky was amazing person hard work no problem solved all of my issues
Gail was a great server she was very attentive and had a great attitude. The main event is so much fun for kids and adults. We love coming here.
We just had my daughter's birthday party here Saturday. Everyone had a blast! Food was really good and prepared well. Staff and services great too. A definite place to have a fun and easy flow party. Staffers even went all out dance with the kids to celebrate!!
I just wanted to call out Latesseya and Wayne working the laser tag. They were very attentive and helpful. Latesseya helped me figure out the vest and Wayne helped us reset ours to go back in and play. They just did that little extra that makes the difference between a good night and a great might. So thank you. It was a good vibe and we look forward to go back again. Then my son ordered a soda and got this fancy thing totally unexpectedly. That's a fun experience.
our server, Gail, was kind to us and had a very happy tone and radiated positive energy! She was quick with her service, also asking us if we needed anything.
This was THE HORRIBLE, WORST EXLERIENCE EVER!!! SPENT 800$ ON BIRTHDAY PARTY AND NO SERVICE OR HELP WITH ANYTHING !!!..AND THEY RAN OUT OF THINGS WE PAID FOR !!..
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
