Main Event isn't just a place for fun?it's an experience from start to finish. While the arcade, bowling, and pool hall are all top-tier, the real surprise is the food. I've come here just to eat at the bar, and it never disappoints. The menu is unexpectedly impressive, with dishes that are flavorful and satisfying. The drinks are exactly what you order?strong, well-made, and worth every penny. Pair that with great customer service and an atmosphere that's both lively and laid-back (especially in the adult

Great place for kids and adults to have fun, get loud, and have a good time! Food is really good, and the atmosphere is laid back, but it can get busy at times. Definitely recommend ??

This family-friendly spot exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere that immediately makes you feel at home. We visited just to enjoy a meal, and the food truly impressed us. I ordered the Boss Margarita, fried pickles with jalape?o ranch, and a double bacon burger with an extra side of jalape?o ranch. Each dish was satisfying and packed with flavor. The fried pickles were crisped to perfection and complemented the spicy ranch beautifully, and I appreciated that they weren't overly salty like at some other plac

Most of the staff we encountered were very hateful, unfriendly, rude, ignored us countless times at the bar. The only staff members that were kind and very helpful were the lady (she had an arm sling on)at the front desk where you buy bands at, the staff that worked in the bowling area, as well as the servers in the bowling area. Out of at least 25 staff members there were only 5 that even make me consider coming back.

If you're looking for the ultimate spot to entertain family and friends, this is it! This place is packed with excitement and endless fun?from arcade games and bowling to thrilling ziplining adventures. Plus, there's a fantastic restaurant and bar where you can relax and refuel between activities. I genuinely look forward to every visit; it's always a great time filled with laughter and unforgettable memories! ??

We had an awesome time at Main Event in Knoxville! We mainly went for bowling and had a blast. The lanes were clean, the vibe was fun, and everything ran smoothly. Great spot for some laid-back competition and laughs with the crew. We grabbed some appetizers and drinks while we played?everything came out quick and tasted great. The drinks were solid, and the apps hit the spot without slowing down the fun. Overall, Main Event is a great go-to for a night out with friends or family when you want something c

We went to bowl when we arrived I asked the guy at the bowling counter if we needed to go on a waiting list because we were going to eat first he told me know it took us over an hour to get pizza when we return back to the bowling alley we was told it was a 2-hour wait the same guy at the counter then said that he didn't tell me not to go on the waiting list. So we didn't get the bowl but another man then helped us get tickets or passes I didn't quite understand what we paid for for the kids to play so it e

TL;DR ?Save your money. And your dignity. Go literally anywhere else.? My husband and I recently hosted our 16-year-old?s birthday here, spending well over $700 between the ?Teen All-Access? party package for 11 guests, extra food, and an adult meal for four at the bar. For that amount, I expected ? at minimum ? warm food, functional games, and not to feel like an unwelcome intruder in a place I was actively patronizing. But alas. What is even more frustrating is that this wasn't our first time hundreds

The food was as expected, mostly fast food, but I have to say the brussel sprouts were spectacular. I also enjoyed the tacos ??. Ryan, the GM, was so accommodating and attentive. He was the epitome of customer service. I had a great time with the family!

Des was our party host, she was the absolute best! She danced with my niece and her friends, she played laser tag with them so there would be enough players for boys vs girls, she was just the greatest. She made sure we were taken care of very well. She 100% made my nieces birthday party even better. My niece said so herself. The place is wonderful for parties, the kids enjoyed bowling, food, laser tag, the gravity area, and the arcade. Really awesome place to have a party, so glad we found this place. It w

Several arcade machines were out of order along with a couple not functioning properly. Several staff just standing around but not offering assistance, there was one younger girl that I wish I knew her name she was busting her behind cleaning the machines from head to toe and helping guests all at the same time. I'd give her a raise if I was the owner because she is definitely the best employee I've ever encountered working there. The prize room was so empty it looked like a scene out of the walking dead (a

Wow ... We have been coming here for the last 7 years! This is a loud arcade atmosphere with bowling lanes, shuffle board, a bar, an ice cream shop, gravity ropes, and laser tag. So much to do here! I recommend the eat and play combo - several options for food and you get a game card with purchase. See my photos for details.

I called Saturday morning to try last minute setting something up for the same Saturday night. Autumn went above and beyond to get me and my group set up with activities and dinner. When we arrived, Vanessa Z was ready to make sure we had an amazing time. She was the best host and an even better air hockey player! Main Event is a great facility but it's the people like Autumn and Vanessa who make it worth every penny!

Had a great time with my family from out of state! Our server was especially really great, I think his name was Archer he was very friendly, funny and showed us a lot of patience.

We had a BLAST!! A couple times the games didn't work but the staff gave our points back no questions asked and quickly. Over all highly recommended!!

Great place for kids and adults. Whether it's playing games with the kids or letting them run on their own while you sit at the bar and have a drink and or food it's a nice place to take the family.Good atmosphere and good food. It's not a quiet place but not overly noisy either. If you want to go and just relax and have fun this is the place.

This last weekend, went to Main Event, at 9081 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN. The kids from Band had a field trip planned and I was asked to help chaperone the event. The Field Trip was to Main Event. I have never been there before but I am always wanting to try new things so I went along. The building was huge, the Parking was open when we got there, there are plenty of parking spaces including Handicap parking as well. Their parking lot was clean. We went in, of course there is a Sales Office right inside

I generally don't care for crowds but I really enjoyed the experience. I was there for a birthday and we just bowled. The lanes were great and we had a blast. I would definitely go again.

Great place to take kids over 6 years old. Everyone is always so nice and helpful. My grands love it!

This is a great place to take kids from 6 through 16 for video games, ropes course, laser tag, and bowling. I am very glad to see that the food quality has gotten much better from my previous visit. The food was great, delicious. The reason for the 4 star review is that it does get crowded, with the wait times for a bowling lane getting long. Another reason is that we got there early in the day, got the play passes and planned for the kids to get on the ropes course while waiting for a bowling lane, but

Amber the tech manager was stellar. There were problems with our first two bowling alleys and had to keep moving, but Amber went out of her way to help us and was super apologetic. We were there for about 4 hours, and I never saw her stop working. I even pointed out 3 different arcades that weren't working properly throughout the day. She is clearly good at her job and was so cheerful doing it. I'm always so thankful to find people like Amber who is good at her craft and also enjoys it. She was awesome!

We had a great time celebrating my 13 yr old birthday!! The foodbwas great, the bowling was fun. We was there for 5.5hours and loved every minute of it. The GM was amazing. Very helpful. Very caring. We will be back! Thanks for making our experience great!

The manager Marcus?s behavior during our visit was completely unacceptable. We witnessed him verbally berate a small female employee during our visit, and physically mock her while she was visibly upset. (This happened on the bowling lanes in front of countless other people/employees) I truely hope the employees report him to HR, and he faces consequences for his actions. But at the very least I will no longer be visiting main event knoxville, and I certainly will not bring my children there ever again. My

I'm a teacher That recently went to your establishment. I will have to say I was not impressed. One of our male teachers had to step in and stop one of the patrons fighting with the miners that were attending an event there. I think with so many schools going to your establishment. You could do better about protecting minors against adults and predators that have no business mixing with school age kids. It also Filthy and disgusting like no one has claimed in several weeks or months. I would not be recomme

Workers were extremely rude and slow. Multiple games did not work. air hockey did not give me a puck and when i asked a worker for help she said she would get it for me and then did nothing. Took extremely long in the restaurant part and worker was making my ice cream with no gloves. disgusting. will probably never come back. the only good thing here is laser tag

Chelsea and Jordan were so great and attentive to us. We got our cups refilled regularly by Chelsea she was awesome! We got a family feast that includes a large pizza, cheese sticks, wings, and a salad. Well worth it!

First one star I've ever given, the drinks were terrible, and poured very light. We ordered 4 drinks and tipping 20% still it was over $65. Definitely pregame before you come here.

So much fun! We only played arcade games and laser tag but had a blast. We were able to go before noon so it was not very busy which was great for a younger kiddo.

My two son's loves, visiting Main Event in Knoxville every week. Every Monday, after 4pm to midnight my son can play unlimited games for only $10.00. Tuesday kids under 12 year old eat free with adult meal purchase. Main Event Entertainment has the best state of the art bowling, multi-level laser tag, sports bar for game day, over 100 games. My two son's loves the Gravity Ropes adventure course, you can work together for team building or alone.

Very good food and a variety of games. Something for everyone. Went early so they weren't very busy.

Our family always has an awesome time at Main Event! We have been there for birthday parties, special events, and visited just to have family fun! There are so many activities to do there, you will never be bored. Even when it's busy, we've never had trouble getting to play the games and activities that we want to. The games are also generous with tickets, so the prize giving is usually an easy time at the end.

We are regulars at Main Event and we had a very unfortunate issue that Brandon and Jazz took immediate attention too. We are very Thankful for the staff here especially Loneshia, JACOB, Alex, Clinton and Brandy!

The food was really good, just a little bit weird tasting. The service was amazing, waitresses were super nice, and cashiers were very patient. The place is the perfect place for kids to have fun with laser tag, bowling, and arcade games.

Amber the technician is very kind and super helpful. She always helps when there is an issue with a game. She has a positive attitude and smile on her face! She's the best!

Our families love Main Event for a fun night out! We like to go and take our girls to play arcade games, do the obstacle and zipline course, and bowl. You can do it all at Main Event. We even go on weeknights sometimes, to take a little mid-week break. The laser tag is also fun!

I love the arcade the bowling alley and all the food I ate. I'm definitely coming back and I love all the arcade games even that one monster jackpot win that I had on monster Drop extreme. I will definitely be coming back to this place

Had a fun time here took our son here Just having a good time playing some arcades lol do wish the had a speed bag tho.. lol Not sure bout the food we didn't eat here so I can't tell ya anything about it.

What an AWESOME experience! We started off with dinner and the food was great! Our server, Bri, was professional, attentive, made great recommendations, and had an up-beat personality. We then did a little bowling. The balls and lanes were above average, making it all fun experience. We followed up with video games and laser tag. All in all, this was a great team-building experience for my staff

Great atmosphere for kiddos and lots to do. Fun place I highly recommend checking it out

My wedding ring came off while playing basketball. Katrina and Bailey were very helpful in locating it. Thanks a million!

Exciting, fun filled place! Have some much to do from Bowing to pool to laser tag and even arcade area. Delicious and amazing food! The bar area stays hopping (wish they had 2) but they fast! Alexis was nice, helpful and cool. Definitely coming back for another round at the bar.

A very fun place as anyone could imagine. The part that makes or breaks it for many however, especially in uncertain times like these, is the cost of this entertainment. It is certainly not amongst the cheapest ways to have fun, but it certainly is fun.

Marcus R ( the manager) is absolutely AMAZING!!!!!! I accidentally scheduled my group for the wrong day, and he handled everything beautifully! He was incredibly gracious, helpful, and motivated. I am so impressed with his work ethic and customer service!

The main thing my daughter wanted to do was the gravity ropes course and it was shut down. The beer was good. One bartender for too many customers but was doing okay. The server that was working was rude. The arcade games are over priced and without the ropes course, the cost of the multi pass thing wasn't worth it. I won't be back. Dave and busters has this place beat for sure.

Use to be a 5. I have taken my students here for a field trip a total of 4 times. The first 3 years were great. This year we was very disappointed by the service received. The Gravity ropes were unfortunately closed for our trip because they didn't schedule someone to operate these. It did state in our contract that Gravity ropes may be unavailable due to limited attraction hours, but we were never contacted that they were actually closed. So don't assume they will tell you if they are not opened. Students

We love to come here as a fun family activity our two year old always has a blast just hanging out with us! We're usually more into old school games but this is a great place for kids. We just share one card amongst our little family and it works great for us. If you've got older kids it might be harder and it will be more expensive but there's so much to do in such a small area. Great way to get some energy out for the littles! *you have to be 48 inches to do the obstacle course

We love to go to the Main Event whenever we feel bored at home. The games are fun and the ambiance is pretty welcoming. It's too exciting for my kid. We can play for a really long time and save points for playing the next day. You can buy kid's toys and stuff with your tickets like the other arcade game places. Some kids love to have their birthdays arranged here. It's a family-fun place for me. There are different amounts of cards like $20 to the above. You can take one and add points by playing. The ca

Normally when I am here, they serve anything until they close, but Chris specially told me that they stopped serving food and alcohol at 1am, after talking to other team members, I found out this was not true and he just didn't want to pour any more drinks or put anymore food in. This is absurd, I come here at least once every two weeks and I've never been with someone who just wants to get out so quick. Otherwise it's usually a good time. Chris was just rude, and ran off when I asked why this usually isn't

Yesterday, i took the three of the kids to main event. Two were mine, one was a friends. We paid almost $100 for them to bowl and do laser tag and one game card for them to share. I knew i had about $25 left to grab McDonalds when we left. Well they got thirsty and didnt understand grabbing something when we left. I left them to continue bowl and went to try to turn in the game card so i could get them drinks and food there. Thats when i met a gentleman nicknamed Thor! I cant remember Thors real name but

I would like to shout out Katrina, she was incredibly helpful in making our first experience with Main Event the best it could be. She thoroughly explained all the pricing packages and set us up with billiards and credits for the arcade. We had a lot of fun!

Honestly, I wanted to love it when our family went for bowling and games (we didn't eat). But... It's fairly run down and multiple times the games took our credit but didn't let us play. Overall, it's an overpriced mediocre entertainment place in my opinion. Also.... We rented the bowling lane for an hour... We had one frame left and it cut us off right at an hour. My opinion... Good service let's you finish the game. Won't go back any time soon.

Another "contributor" said there were no pool tables,I've included a few pictures. Why did I love this place? It's the food, games, atmosphere and genuine people. You need to pace yourself so theres no stimulus overload. They have a ropes course, laser tag and bowling for all ages. The bowling areas have these cartoons that are hilarious. The servers always check on you. The ropes course is explained so people understand safety and if they get scared. So pray before you get that high. Laser tag has two lev

My daughter had got a Hello Kitty lamp as a prize that didn't work. We returned a few weeks later to see if we could exchange it. They didn't have they anymore and a very nice manager, Ryan, let us pick out something to exchange it with. I was impressed with his demeanor and level of customer service.

What a fun day! There are several packages to choose from. And so much fun to be had. We played video games, laser tag and did the ropes course. Time really does fly when you're having fun!

I reserved three lanes for 10 people at Main Event Knoxville but called ahead to adjust to two lanes for six. I was assured a refund for the third lane upon arrival. However, the young man at the counter was unhelpful, and it took over an hour for the manager, Jordan, to address my concern. Jordan was extremely rude and refused to process the refund, telling me to figure it out myself. I managed to find the corporate number on my own, but when I called, I was left on hold for 20 minutes before the call was

Very surprised that the food here was this good! Everything we ordered was so good.

We just left a party and it was amazing. Kristin was an amazing party host. She was very attentive and sweet!

Fun place but it's so expensive and management is always a disaster. This trip we were going to sit down and eat. There is a sign that says to go to the bowl desk to be seated. We go to the bowl area. They send us to the main desk in the middle. We wait there and they send us back to the hostess stand where the sign is where we wait a while with 3 hungry kids that we towed around the place to figure out how to get a table. No one ever showed up to seat us. Just an average Tuesday. Not busy. We are going nex

Great experience today. Fun for everyone and staff was very friendly. Fried pickles and queso with chips was on point!

I enjoyed this place so much! Lots of game options and the prize store is the best I've seen at Arcades so far. It's makes you want to play more to win cool prizes. The atmosphere is fun and relaxed. Child friendly and fun date night for sure. One night a week they have like 12.99 card in the evening that you can play about 90% of the arcade games unlimited. Only thing you don't collect tickets or points but it's so fun to just play and play and play.

This place is awesome - we did a Team building event there. The venue is clean and well maintained. The staff was awesome and very attentive before and during our event. The food was really good for the type of appetizers it was - the wings/sliders was the ticket - the bowling was fun and exciting. I was very pleased with the event, the staff, the food, and the facilities.

My company held our annual Christmas party at Main Event and we had a wonderful time. We have visited Main Even multiple time and always have a great time bowling playing Lazer tag and video gams. Main Event has an very friendly and accommodate staff and good food quality. I highly recommend Main Event for childrens event or teams building for work. Main Event can be very busy in the evenings or especially on the weekends so if you have a larger party call ahead and reserve a section or arrive early.

This place was really cool. We came with my sons school. It's great for pretty much all ages (except maybe kids under 2-3). Even adults can have fun here. They have a really nice bar, the offer parties with catering. The food can be pizza and fries or you can get more gourmet type foods. They have a cool bowling alley (only issue was my sons first time ever bowling and he step just slightly over the line they have a sensor that didnt count his bowls, I understand for adults but kids just learning dont quite

Has potential to be a good place for fun. Bartender, young lady was just rude and off-putting. She definitely doesn't like being there. Between her and the young man showcasing a possible nervous breakdown at the end his shift, it was time to go. The drinks are colorful and very good, however.

Casual hangout with laser tag, bowling, arcade, and more. Friendly staff who serve food and drinks and there's also access to have birthday parties. Reservations can be made for bowling. Both kid and adult friendly.

Jacob the server rocked. We were a very complicated group with lots of kids. Brandon, the manager, swung by to ensure we were all square away which I appreciated. Great time. Great place.

A great concept, but overall it's really pricey. This is a good once-every-few-months venue, but definitely not a regular hangout. Arcade games range between $1 and $2 PER PLAY (really? A buck for skee ball?) and your arcade card doesn't cover pool or anything else. Bowling is expensive relative to other places in town. Our service was just fine, but the food is crappy bar food that leaves a lot to be desired. Things were cooked well, but again - how hard is it to do chicken fingers? Not terrible, just nowh

I wanted to give it a three, but I believe a four is fairer. It's not the best place but it's not bad. Pros: All of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The kids loved bowling and laughed at the "youtoons" setting for bowling. The lazer tag environment is very well done and good for any age. The bathrooms are clean. Cons: I wish things were more separated. I did not enjoy the kids playing an arcade game that you could see the bar if you looked a little over. There were so many different multicolored li

Have been here twice and both times I had a great time with my family. They have reasonably priced food and drinks for an entertainment venue and the

We enjoyed a Friday night with all of our neighborhood, friends. Jacob, our server was top notch and Brandon the manager came by to check on us to make sure we were having a great time. We enjoyed our Friday evening with all the kids and neighbors.

Jordan came and checked on us on the lanes and made sure we were having a great time without even having to ask. Talha helped me at the desk when we first came in and took the time to answer all my questions. Perfect place for a family day! Jordan and Talha made sure our experience was elevated with exceptional customer service.

We went here with our family we had an awesome time!! I highly recommend it!! They have an arcade, bowling, laser tag, pool tables, shuffle board and a ropes course!! The food was good and the service was great!!

Wonderful time with my family. We bowled, played arcade games, laser tag, and the ropes course. Food was a little pricy so we skipped it but overall it was a great value. We plan on coming back again soon. Solid idea for air conditioned fun.

Omg first time there had my 6-year-old grandson had the time of his life Ladies and gentlemen it is a lot My first time like I said but I can say I am so grateful and so glad that I went.

Great Place but a little noisy. Loved the new bowling and shuffle board. Beer and Dinner prices are a little too high. Need to reserve pool, but there is no system in place.

The games were great and Amber helped make our experience wonderful.

Jacob was our server he was great very friendly and took great care of us. The food was great to. It a great date night food for under $ 40.00 dollars. Went there had the same thing. Food was good. But today was alittle bizzy for 2 o'clock service was slow they need more help or needed to call someone else in. But still was good.

Had a family gathering / celebration here on a Monday. Enjoying the special rates of Monday night madness. The staff was very helpful. The arcade was well lit and clean. The bowling alley was super, especially the great selection of bowling balls. Laser tag was a big hit. Fun place!!

We had a very good day here. Theres different thing to do for people of all ages. Theres places to eat and the food is good. They have good prices for unlimited play. They have the best arcade games! You get a wrist band for bowling, etc, then you can leave and come back as much as you want in the day. The kids loved it!!

A good time for the whole family. We had a party there for our little one. It came with group laser tag, game tokens, food and drinks, and even a personal host for all of these things. Well worth it and all the kids enjoyed it.

I was visiting Knoxville and we decided to check out something to do. Think of Dave and busters. But size it down a bit. We enjoyed it. It was fun, it wasn't busy when we went on a Wednesday. Polite staff. Clean, drinks were great! I would go again definitely. Worth the money because you can go back and save points, your cards don't expire, it is a great incentive to keep going!

Great place! Bowled and played billiards. Place has plenty of room with many hand sanitizers. Service was excellent. Best to go during off peak times - it does get quite crowded.

Family had a good time. Food was good. The kids are wanting to go back. LOL. I have a bad back. You just don't know how greatful I was with the plush seating. Thats what I mostly did. Thank you to the workers for a nice visit as well.

My daughter had a party there on Saturday. At first I was a little bummed because leading to the party some of the ladies would give short answers and appeared bummed that we were there in person inquiring about menu etc. However, then Vanessa called and was the first one to show interest and was super nice. The day of the party she was attentive, cheerful and the perfect host. She made it a nice and memorable day for my daughter! Thank you Vanessa.

Never a dull moment, girls had a blast!

Family friendly, did not eat, just let my son have a good time playing games.

An awesome place with a lot exciting games even for adults. You also have a bar to the side and don't worry about any bar smell you won't get any of that. The place is very well maintained at any given minute. Don't worry if there is a 2 hr wait time for bowling. Just throw in your name and keep checking your messages every 15min because you get your lane very early most of the times. So look out for text messages as soon as throw in your name in queue. Their LEMONADE is awesome ????

this place is okay but kinda pricey for two people and then i wanted to stay longer but my friend wanted to leave because it was kinda noisy inside but it was alright but i personally know that i would be back soon but i do not know when but your Pina colada was great

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?
