Went here for the first time with coworkers yesterday, it was a great time! The food was pretty good, I had some cheese pizza and a salad. Others in my party had wings, I didn't hear any complaints, the bartender was a little light on the pour for drinks but overall it was a good time. We even had our own server for our booths so it was nice to not have to run back and forth. They also have armed security, so it feels pretty safe.
Overall it was a wonderful outing here, so much entertainment, a huge place and while catching up with bowling, while eating and drinking. I will recommend the family meals and allow more time to explore first before sitting down to eat. The crowd was tremendous and they we trying hard to please everyone.
Visited:: 23Mar25...This review is directed to the food, since it's an arcade, bowling and laser tag place. The guy at the front desk was super helpful being that it was our first time. We were bummed, my girlfriend and her 7 year old son, that this location didn't have the escape room, Roblox, rock wall, mini golf. According to everything I looked for Jacksonville it didn't say at Orlando location. But we still stayed. We played 2 rounds of laser tag which was great with a decent size room. Typical arcade
My experience at The Main Event was a decent one. The activities, entertainment, and environment was great. The customer service at the restaurant and at the bar was not so good. It took forever for the waiters/waitresses to take our food order. When our food arrived it was wrong so we had to wait even longer before we could enjoy ourselves with the games. The food was tasty and decently priced. When at the bar ordering drink, some of the bartenders were having private conversations amongst themselves or wi
For me to spend almost 400/500 dollar to play games .Plus money for the food To adults 2 kids from 7:30/12:30 pm My 3 yr old did not want to used the bathroom the smell was very very terrible both bathrooms ladies bathroom at that I even asked for a manager spoke with her about the condition of the bathrooms I was told they would check it out. Well that never happened so I'm wondering if the employees even wash their hands no toilet paper no paper towels. Real talk I waited two and a half hours for my food
New to Jacksonville and truly just want to take my kids out for a fun time. Stumbled upon this place on google, and said why not? Looks fun, and theres food! Coming in, I asked the girl about bowling prices she started spitting out ridiculous prices for party sized guest. It was literally me, my husband & my two very young kids. Then she said anyways we don't have any open bowling lanes available. It was a bummer because I really wanted to give my kids the bowling experience, i brushed it off and bought th
My husband and I come to Main event often. Last night we tried to order a drink and ice cream at the bar and got told no although there's menus at the bar and we have done it before. Cool moved on from that. We booked a hour of bowling already before this so all of these things were done in the meantime. When we finally get called to bowl we order a pizza. That is the only time the server appeared in our area. If you know I only have one hour of bowling and you bring me food why would you not come back. We
2 stars because the arcade & laser tag were fun .. but our entire group ate dinner afterwards and it was a complete disaster. We had to wait over an hour for food and was told we had to ?wait? for silverware because they didn't have enough. Lastly, we had to chase down the manager just to find someone who could give us our bill and charge our card. Only go for the play ? don't waste your time with dinner!
Some family friends were moving from the area and we went there with the Father and son. There were five of us in the group and they put us on Lane two. Lane. One had had somebody there previously and nobody ever came to clean up the mess. When we got there we told him to send somebody over to take a food order. Nobody ever came. After waiting 15 minutes I went over and talked to server and asked them to come and take an order. Nobody ever came. After several more minutes I asked another one. They said t
Absolutely loved our visit to Main Event Jacksonville! The environment was so fun and upbeat from the moment we walked in ? you could just feel the excitement. Bowling and laser tag were a blast, and there was never a dull moment with all the activities going on. But hands down, the arcade was my favorite part ? and that's all thanks to Ralph, one of the workers there. He was seriously the best! Ralph answered every question I had with patience and a smile, helped us navigate the arcade with ease, and made
The teen unlimited package party was a lot of fun. The food was better than expected, fresh and the wings aren't average, nice size. The time was just right for the games unlimited card.
Staff was very friendly, but when we got to our lane there was a pile of old food and plates. Even after notifying the staff multiple times it was not cleaned up. Bowling was fun though.
Today was my first time ever going to Main Event and I've lived in the area for 4 years now. I went with our summer camp group of 48 kids aged 6-12. We had an hour of bowling, ate some pizza and drank some soda, then everyone got $10 game cards. The service from the management and team members was spectacular. Bowling was great! Food was delicious! Games were fun! My kiddos were pooped on the bus ride back to camp in Nocatee (some of them even fell asleep ??). Thank you for having us today! We all had a gr
We visited Main Event today with some friends for my daughter?s birthday (not official birthday party). We had such a good time and the customer service was great. Angel did a fantastic job serving all 8 of us and making sure we didn't need anything. A lot of times I feel like kid places can be filled with over stimulated workers who don't help, but was impressed with everything. I also think getting there early is important.
Jennifer at the bar/dining area is AMAZING! She is so sweet and helpful, and she really makes the experience every time we bring our family in for a special event. Thank you!
This place has so much potential, but the food was sub par and the wait time was extremely long. However the Laser Tag was amazing
Me and my family always come to main event. We came back today and we had such a wonderful time it was a blast! It was definitely kinda packed but you would expect it to be packed on the weekend. Teniya, Ralph and the staff were so kind and patient and were able to answer all of the questions me and my family had, the service was outstanding! the food is so good and and the atmosphere is so amazing and amusing! It's so cool how they have laser tag, an arcade, bowling, a bar, and billiards under one roof! I
All in all a 3 and 1/2? Laser tag was awesome - as a big kid I really enjoyed it. We were there for a birthday party for 10. The cost for everything was okay just under 300. It included 30 mins of bowl time, ?sliders? w/ fries, 2 laser sessions, and $10 game cards. However the food and service were not great. The food was 2 cold sliders and fries. We had to ask for napkins, condiments, silverware, and everything else. Constantly asking for cups for the kids. The service was not great. It is not a place for
This is a fun place to spend a few hours with friends and family...however, the staff were not very friendly..but we still had a good time. Overall, I would visit again.
Dre was our server and he was very attentive and kind. Our food was great and he ensured we had our food on time and checked in on us often while we bowled. Steve was super helpful with technology issues and made sure that we had a great time!
Had a great time with my girlfriend tonight at main event, our server Lena was very attentive and had us laughing all night. Will be back again soon! Also shout out to the bartender Jen for taking care of us.
Do yourself a favor and eat somewhere else before coming here. We stood around for 5 mins while 4 employees at the hostess stand talked amongst themselves and with one lady in front of me. Not one employee acknowledged me or just put us on the waitlist so we could move on to play games while we wait. Next up the counter to buy game cards where 2 employees laughed amongst themselves instead of acknowledging and serving us. Finally got our game cards and billiards equipment but that was an ordeal too. Played
Very poor attitudes from just about every employee we came in contact with. Service at restaurant was awful. We received better service from a food runner/host than our actual server. During our meal we received no refills, I went to the bar to ask for some more water and I was directed to the soda machine to fill my own glasses. We were told that our wait for bowling was an hour to and hour and a half, which was fine, however that quickly turned into 2 hours. Upon asking for info we were told online e rese
Took my kids on a Friday night. We did bowling, games & laser tag. They truly enjoy their time there. I did stop by the bar for a drink, and was served by Re. Amazing service and personality.
Fun for kids and adults...we had a really great time
The ladies bathroom was hedious!! There's no way in the world.Your employees are using the same restrooms! There was absolutely no soap in the soap dispensers, so that's a strong indication that employees are not washing their hands! It was so unhealthy and unsanitary! There's no way in the world!! How can y'all expect people to take their children to you to the restroom in these type of conditions.
My son's school decided to come here for the kids with good behavior throughout the school year. Although the busses were extra late getting there, it was a wonderful experience. My son had a lot of fun. It was clean and well kept. The prices for the games are pretty expensive. The field trip was about $45 in total between just mine and my sons ticket and each card came with like 50 points to play games. Within literally 10 minutes into us being there, many of the kids had already ran out of points because
Good spot to chill at. I come here all of the time. I will say that I don't like how all of a sudden, I'm paying for my drinks 1 by 1 after having my tab open the first time. I was forced to close my tab because one employee said he was leaving and he actually never left. Another employee took another one of our drink orders and we kept paying 1 by 1 instead of the tab just being open the first time. Definitely misleading and weird. I come here a lot and I know that's not how my tab is evaluated. And before
We purchased 3 summer passes and every single time we come to play after 12pm they don't want to add anymore time to bowling Eventhough its not supposed to close till 1am or 2am. You should be allowed to play till its time to close. Another thing maybe some additional training needs to happen because it seems like always the staff is in a bad mood. Im sorry but if its such a horrible place to work maybe they need to change careers. Its such a shame because we used to love coming here but if it wasn't for tr
We came here to kill some time before going to the airport, having done this before in KC we thought we try again and it was worth it. Check out from hotel is prior to noon so what to do when got a later flight? They have a pass that allows unlimited bowling, pool, and laser tag. We usually bowl a few games and then play some pool and that seems to kill the time. We don't play the games, looks like you will spend a lot more on those. Food and service was good, nothing special but get what you would exp
Everything looked great inside. It was clean, colorful and all of the equipment worked well. The staff was friendly but possibly spread too thin as the wait-time to have drinks and food delivered was quite long. The food was warm but not hot when it arrived. My guess is, our server was not only taking care of people bowling, but also waiting on patrons in the restaurant area.
My son's 10th birthday was there and we all had a blast.
Overall my experience was ok! I just wanted to give a few pointers out. The atmosphere was good and the food was great. When we got there we had to wait over an hour to have the table clean, the staff where not working to serve promptly they look like they were there for the hourly pay. And it was not pack that day. The service and guest relation not so great. Our server made sure that we had everything right she did ok. Other than that everything else was good. Kids had fun and enjoyed the night. Just for
Great food and a bunch of games for kids and adults. Arcade games, Bowling and a full service bar for adult beverages.
I took my daughter here on May 10, 2025. We went to go play pool, like we've done for the last 4 years. We waited in the bowling line like we always have. After waiting in line for around 10 minutes, we get to the associate and she tells me that we have to go to the bar to rent billiards. There were no signs anywhere, giving us directions that you have to go to the bar to rent billiards now. After waiting at the bar for another 5 minutes, the associate at the bar looks and walks towards me, just to turn aro
Nice place to gather. Food was good for family fare. My order was missed somehow and came after everyone. Drinks took a while. About 25 mins per order. No real sense of urgency but very cordial. It was a Monday night. Good time over all.
Very dissapointed. Their store aren't maintained well. No prize points to know what value the prices are. Lots of space that aren't replenished. The store cashier just plays with his phone the whole time and not very service oriented. Plus the bathroom is disgusting.
They are way higher than Dave N Busters. From the food and drinks to the card. The kids really enjoyed it, so I guess that's all that matters. The food was just ok I'm assuming everyone was just hungry so they ate it. I guess we're paying for the labor and not the actual quality of the food. The quality definitely was giving Chuck E Cheese. All in all not a bad place to visit if you are in the Jacksonville area.
I have been there several of times with a small group of clients and there is always an issue with the bowling lanes breaking down and having to wait long periods for them to be fixed and the timer reset. On my most recent visit this happened, there was only one server despite the fact that they were busy with multiple birthday parties going on, we place food orders at the bar paid for them waited and then were eventually told the were out of those items at 11 am. Will not be going back.
We love coming here for bowling. The online reservations make it so convenient. We like coming here for the arcade too. I find it's just the right size for us. We had an hour game pass, and that was plenty. I would say 45 minutes in the arcade was perfect for our family of 3.
UPDATE November 2024 Still no response. Corporate nor management. It's apparent from the 4 stars that this establishment has issues but Noone cares to address it Still a 0 star from me. UPDATE!! Never got a response from management. They don't care! BEWARE!!!! my boyfriend and I visited for the first time and highly disappointed and will never return. First of we got there around 1030 and was told they were closed but hours of operation are until midnight. Had to call management (waste of time) to get
This location has definitely gone downhill. Friends and I went today and there was no AC so it was hot the whole time. The bowling was malfunctioning, and the games kept taking our credits without working. Service was a bit slow and it was not that busy. The bathroom was also not clean at all and only 1 out of the 3 sinks worked.
Nice spot with cool games full bar and bowling. Super short staffed with as far as we can tell one employee at the counter and tone at the bar. The line has been long since we walked in and it took us 30 mins to get a refund on the 5 games that didn't work but took our money. With an average price per persons well over $20-25 a head they could afford to have 1-2 employees walking around keeping adults in line and games working properly. This is Sunday evening at 6-7pm so should expect to be busy.
Charity destiny and Anthony and Ralph made my six-year-old?s birthday party an absolute success! They were kind, warm, and welcoming. The food was amazing, and the staff went out of their way to ensure that we had a good time. We could not have chosen a better place to have my baby?s birthday party.
Thank you so much Main Event! Provided my family with great customer service and the food was so good! Can't wait to come back!
Its a great place to bring your kids. However, if you come as a large group with adults who drink, this might not be the spot for you. The food came out late and the waitress struggled with the bills. The wait staff was no older than 16. They didnt come back to clean our area when we got done. Also, they tag a 18 percent tip to each person tab. We did a reservation for two lanes and we ended up using one lane. They gave us a hard time to get our money back saying we need it to tell them 24 hours in advanced
The food was good, nothing special. What made it worse was the service. I'm not gonna speak on that because I'm sure they already know. The real concern was law enforcement. They were all friendly but they did disclose that a lot of fights occur frequently. I'll give it another chance.
Noisy, but still a great place for a fun night out! This may have been the first time we went without! kids for some adult time. Bowling was fun, but be sure to book ahead since otherwise wait times can be VERY long. I still find the lane seating area to be a bit crammed, if were management I might consider putting in smaller tables or taking them out entirely, having did and drink behind the seating area (which already exists with countertops and tables) We then channeled our inner kids with some arcade
Keep in mind I just had came here a week prior while reading this review. I arrived a little late but my party was already seated and being served. It took a while for the waitress to come take our drink order, which was fine, but when she came she was VERY RUDE almost to the point of DISRESPECT. She came to us and said " My child has a birthday today and I'm not hurrying yall up but I kinda am. I wasn't shouldn't even have taken your table." She proceeded to take our order. 20 minutes passes and she comes
Ralph was a helpful and friendly. There were issues with the game and he handled it quickly. My son was so happy the issue was resolved. Fun experience for my family.
If you bowl often the lanes appeared to be without oil. Asked and was told oiled everyday. Not oiled properly even for house shots. Ordered food and drinks and had to pay at the bar. Can't combine tickets at the bowling lanes. Tried twice to get help on a very slow night. Had to ask three times to pay the bill. Ordered the $15.99 desert and they were out of the donut holes they out on the top. It was two sticks with several donuts in the photo. It's their premier desert. Sadly wouldn't suggest this
I would leave zero stars if I could. We came on the free kids summer event and paid $50 for me and my husband for 2 hours daily. We live 2 and a half hours away. We were told this location does not do 2 hours, only 1. So already I was upset with that. Then, they stopped us for 15 mins to get the balls out of the return and told us we had to get the balls off of the return that other customers placed on there. So now I'm doing their job. Then, I go to the front desk to have the mins added back so we can actu
Great place to spend time with small kids. Bowling is great with minor issues with machines, but the food was good. We ordered the classic and all 5 of us were happy celebrating birthday.
I booked a birthday party for my son which was supposed to start at 4:30 and they pushed it back to 6 without letting anyone know. Majority of my party guests left before we even got to bowl. I called and spoke to a manager about it and they just apologized for not expecting it to be busy and giving our lanes away and making us wait despite our reservation. $500 down the drain.
It's just ok.... When this was latitude 360 it was better... It was more geared towards adults now it's more so geared to children every where you turn. It's a lil pricy$$ I ordered the lemon pepper with the bone out and OMFG those things were sooooo salty I could feel my blood pressure rise from the one bite I took. I had to send them back after it waiting 30 minutes to get them and being told they were only offering FRIED food only. The sitting area where you bowl is very tight another party showed
Love coming here with my kids. Renee is absolutely amazing and so patient with my indecisive kids LOL. She deserves a raise for sure!!!! ?? Ralph is the absolute best as well , he helped us many times with the games when they had an issue and checking out at the winners circle. He also deserves a raise!
Great evening with the family. Restraunt and the entree game combo was the reason for the star deduction. You can only buy the entree & food combo while you are sitting at the table! There should be a way to purchase the combo from the front desk and just recieve a entree card valid for that day only. Especially considering we had a 30 min wait to be seated in the near empty restaurant. However once we were seated, our server was amazing. She was over loaded and seemed to be the only server so she was slo
Games are fun. Service can be a bit slow due to lack of workers, but the workers are really nice to interact with. The food is better than a bowling alley. Lots of fun overall.
Well my goal wasn't to come to Main Event to spend my weekend, but my fourteen year old niece came into town. I had to be quick on my feet to figure a fun weekend, so I decided on Main Event. We went fairly early (around 3pm) to avoid any huge crowds. When we got there the line was pretty short and the place was not overcrowded which was nice. There was also a sign outside stating that everyone must have a mask on which was comforting. They had a pretty good deal for $19.99 to do unlimited bowling and las
DJ is one of the best managers at a family gaming facility I've ever came across he answered all the questions was very professional and had such a nice personality he really made our family feel very comfortable and happy we chose main event for my sons birthday event. We will return for other events and i will definitely let my friends and family know to come here to enjoy there family time together. Thanks DJ you rock I hope cooperate knows what kind of management you bring to there establishment!!!
This use to be the happening place. Times have changed. At night, if your with your family and children just don't be surprised there can be some adults outside who is not supposed to be doing what they are doing. However high five to the manager for going beyond and making my daughter's bday a special one. He gave her some toy from the vending machine. He also gave us extra tickets for making an error on our purchase. Overall He was awesome and made our trip great. Food was so so. But we enjoyed ours. ??
Really disappointed in the facility as a whole. I never write reviews so it's speaks that I feel the need to do it now. Food service was horrible, our waiter seemed overwhelmed and lacked proper training. After an hour of waiting we received our food and one meal was incorrect. Never saw our waiter so was never able to tell him. We never received silverware or napkins, again never saw our waiter so could not ask for them. Then upon getting him and asking for the check. He handed me the tablet without me get
I took my granddaughter to Main event. The service at the arcade and within the restaurant was superb. Granddaughter enjoyed the game room and both enjoyed the restaurant. They had cauliflower crust pizza, yummy. And she enjoyed their chocolate shake.
Went in to check this place out with my son, as I was reading the board for pricing the young black woman with red hair wanted to catch an attitude with me. Didn't say anything or even look her way, guess she was having a bad day. After standing in line hoping to get in a few hours of bowling and a few rounds of laser tag, the woman continued giving mean looks and playing on her phone. After waiting about 15 minutes with no one else in line I decided to leave. This was my first time entering the establishme
DON?T GO!!! Worst customer service ever, extremely long lines (even for online reservations), numerous employees chatting behind the main desk instead of working, management is awful (spoke to 2 managers and found each subpar), waitstaff never offered us (4 adults) food or drink while bowling, my guess is they'll be out of business if they don't train their people and get a handle on how to run more efficiently.
Anthony & AJ was great at the bar. Showed respect and when I had a problem with my food they didn't fight me just corrected it professionally. Even gave me a free on the house drink. I will definitely be bringing my family back ????????????????
I won't lie when I say that I was pretty hesitant to have my sons 7th birthday here, the reviews for birthday parties haven't been the greatest but I decided to anyway and I'm so glad I did! From start to finish it was great. From when I booked it, I had clear communication from all the staff. I was met with friendly attitudes from every person we interacted with. I booked and spoke to Danielle about how things would go, cost, etc and she was very helpful and clear about their policy?s and procedures. Our
Really fun place! Bowling has fair prices and well as laser tag. Arcade games are a little steep. We did the game play and entree combo and that seemed to make it more worth the money since we were going to eat anyway. Great service and employees! Very kind and professional. The place is very clean and they have sanitizer stations everywhere. They seemed to be watching as we used each game in order to sanitize when finished. We weren't really worried about that though. Really enjoyed our experience and we
I was at this place for a birthday party for my grandson. I went to the La Bella?s counter to place an order. The girl behind the counter asked what I wanted. I told her a large drink and an order of fries. Before I could finish my whole order, the girl cut me off and with an attitude informed she was not taking food orders because it would take about an hour before I got my food. She could?ve just said without the attitude that it would take quite a while before I got my order. Absolutely no interpersonal
We came here on a hot summer night in Jacksonville and really enjoyed ourselves at the bowling lanes as well as with some of the games. I love the fact that they have so many brightly-colored lighted features that it really transports you into another fun place.
Great service from Austin. Carmen stopped by and checked on us and helped us move lanes when our lane kept having issues and even added time to account for the time lost from constant issues on our original lane. Customer service is great & I love coming here with my family. Can't wait to come back!
The service provided tonight was phenomenal. I can't wait to come back and have a drink with Ramon. I wish you guys would thing back the oh my good was pizza it was my favorite with jalape?os. Look forward to coming back!
Beware!!! Food is low quality. My girl and I ordered loaded queso, fried pickles, buffalo wings, chicken sandwich, bacon cheeseburger no cheese. Loaded queso consistency felt like paste more than cream. Buffalo wings taste as is they were frozen wings that you can purchase at a grocery store. I had to had to have my bacon cheeseburger burger remade two times. The first time i ordered burger without cheese and the kitchen still made it with cheese. Second time my burger had garlic aloli, the menu did not adv
The staff was very friendly and helpful. I've never been to a main event before but I highly recommend this place. The kids loved it and I enjoyed a Maitai drink while they played. I highly recommend the ranch wings and fries from the bar. The pizza is not very good in my opinion. I will say each game is around 7.5 tokens or more.
We had a Great Time at Main Event with a small group of us for My step sons Biethday. Bowling, Food and Games. Yes, I won the bowling games. What made it extra special was an employee they have, Dana. She was very personable and has a great smile. She made my 10 year old feel special and went out of her way. I thank her for that. She is my employee of the month nominee, if you have this at Main Event.
Did not get the experience. Was told we had to 1 hour by Christina. But 4 minutes after that a family came in and were seated. I went and asked did they have reservations. She said she thought it would be an hour. Less than 5 minutes could be 60 minutes. And note I'm black they were white, but my money is green and my credit cards are paid.
Unfortunately, I cannot rate the food as I was never served when I went there. For a rare date night, my husband and I went to Main Event for some fun after our dinner at Fogo de Chao. We arrived hopeful for some drinks and fun, but soon realized we weren't going to even be served. We went to the bar immediately and sat down, after one couple who had already been there was served, we waited patiently. After a second couple who arrived after us was not only given a menu, but served, and paid, we still waite
it's a tween / kid hangout spot it seems, went there for my 16 year old nephews bday and it was basically all kids, on a friday at 3-6pm , the bartender was so sweet and kind i?d rate the blue hawaiian 7.5 out of 10 , it's nice and light, would go again for family events i guess , server wasn't the most present but i expect from a aracde/restaurant situation lol probably chaotic but it was a fun time overall and book reservations for bowling cause it was a 3 hour wait
This place is amazing! Jennifer at the bar continues to go above and beyond to ensure that I'm taken care of. Plus, she already knows my order. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
The General Manager was absolutely amazing. She was very active in the establishment and resolved every issue we had. The absolutely best manager In have seen in an establishment in a very long time. Service was award winning Excellent!!
I brought my grandkids here for some fun time. The game attendants ( Neveah & Zaria) were really nice and courteous. The gentlemen ( Mr Ralph) that works in the Winners Choice room was so patient and friendly with me and my grandkids. I will be bringing my entire family back here for some fun time. The atmosphere was great
Held a party for one of our children here. Lots of entertainment for the kids and adults. Similar to a Dave and Busters but with a few more activities (bowling, laser tag). Disappointed with the birthday experience. We arrive thirty minutes before our party was scheduled to start and were not attended to until 15 minutes after party was supposed to start. Not the best place to watch NFL football as there are no out of market game broadcasts.
We enjoyed our meal. Overall, the seating and serving process needs to improve as there was a 5-8 minute wait between being seated and seeing a server but once we had a server, it was a good meal with good service.
I went as part of a kids birthday party. We did bowling, had some appetizers, then pizza drinks and cake, and lastly some arcade fun. The food was surprisingly good for a place like this and the kids enjoyed it. The staff that were assigned to our party was a bit frazzled on timing and such. But she did everything she was supposed to and was polite and attentive. Personally I believe she was overworked and stretched thin. I've worked service industry, so I get it. It's a loud place, and I had a headache onc
Always a pleasure when we visit Main Event. The food was good and our server was on point. Dre kept our drinks filled and made sure we had everything we needed. Great time!
Not a fan. I used to like this place but after the last kid party, it's a hard no for me. From bowling times not being met at the right time to lane issues to miss our Laser tag time, with sugared up kids! What the heck are y'all thinking?!?!?? When our buffet was set up, no napkins or silverware. Geezz! ??. It was ok food. Pizza, salad, chips queso and chicken nuggets, nothing to rave about. Silverware shoes up after most of us were done eating and the salad was barely touched. Because silverware came lat
Visited main event for a corporate event. Great place for coworkers or families to bond. The private lunch was over cooked , (baked chicken, squash) corn bread was delicious, I ordered rum and cranberry (had to order an extra cranberry) to each its own. Bowling, laser tag and games? Overall a great day.
We went to eat while playing games and bowling etc and we're met with an absolutely long wait for food, over an hour after we ordered. When the food came out it was barely warm if not cold. The restaurant was less than half full and were told a number of times that the problem was only two waitresses. That wasn't really a good answer for waiting an hour for food. We asked to speak to a manager several times and were told she's coming which she never did. Ridiculous!! Motto of the story is don't eat the
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
