Customer Reviews

I had to rewrite another review due to the Family Kitchen inside main event. This place is AWESOME we came for my son's bday around 4pm on a Monday. Not sure who was the chef or the manager for this place is AMAZING everything we ordered was outstanding! 6 yrs ago I rates this place 5?. Yet again after all these yrs I rated another 5?who ever is running this Main Event is doing a great job! We ask out waitress if we can dine in and set up our table for his birthday and she said kindly of course. Natasha was

Amazing place to have some fun with family or friends. There are all kinds of activities to choose from, like bowling, arcades, and billiards. The food is very good too and the staff is very kind and helpful. We had a great time!!

Initially attempted a birthday reservation and unfortunately had a family issue and couldn't afford it all and just kept up communication with Ms. Allison and this lady is the kindest and compassionate person and she made my daughters Birthday celebration still happen after my last call to cancel. She made sure the girls got 5 star treatment! So THANK YOU Ms. Allison for your act of kindness and encouraging words !! They had a blast and I couldn't have pulled it all off without her. The other manager (firgo

The wings, burgers and sandwiches were great but the pizzas were undercooked. We informed the manager and she took care of it by making a different dish. There was only 1 waiter and he was good but appeared overworked because service was slow. Good drinks and atmosphere. Clean restrooms.

If I could give a zero stars I would. The cashier Serri is the rudest worker ever. Her mouth and the way she talks to adults is ridiculous. We spent a lot of money with our church group and for her to talk to us or any one like that is unacceptable. If you asked her a question about the menu she responded with a smart answer. We spoke with the manager and he was nice and tried his best to resolve the situation and he did say he would speak with them but after he helped us, but she was still rude and now s

I just wanted to take a moment to recognize Ben from management at Main Event?his professionalism, kindness, and genuine care deserve to be celebrated. I work for CPS (Child Protective Services), and during a visit with a youth in care, Ben went above and beyond to make our experience special. He didn't just treat us like guests?he treated us like people. He was incredibly respectful to the young man I brought in, made sure we felt welcomed, and even offered him a 3-hour play card completely unprompted. Th

1st time here and it's was great spending time with the boys good customer Service ?????? they have 1. Bowling ?? 2. Bar 3. Laser tag. And so much more y?all should come and try its out

Yesterday I went to a company event, which is our holiday party. I loved everything about the place, I played arcade games and went bowling with my co-workers. We really enjoyed the experience and overall a great atmosphere. The only downside was the bland tasting food, I had the chicken, Macaroni and potato salad. I have never tasted something so bland I had to imagine eating fried chicken so I could eat something. The potato salad tasted like mustard and nothing else, I thought I was drinking from a Musta

The bowling cost over twice as much as Max Bowl. We sat at the restaurant and waited 30ish minutes before our waitress finally came by to ask our drinks. This was after the 5 minute wait to be seated turned out to actually be a 20-minute wait. The fried pickles were burnt and had hardly any batter on them. After we finished, it was another 30 minutes before we even saw our waitress again to ask for the bill (we had to ask the host to send her over). A quarter of the machines in the arcade didn't work but st

I just want to give a big shout out to Nathan, Pamela, and Serri. These 3 made my first time here at Main Event Humble more enjoyable. I had changed my food order, and despite how busy Nathan was he still came in to assist me with my order. I can't thank these 3 enough for everything!!!

The kids enjoyed the ice cream, pizza was not that good, the fried mozzarella was yummy though. The games were okay, we did enjoy the VR.

This place was a major disappointment. It was my child's first time visiting, so we weren't sure what to expect. The customer service was abysmal. I had to walk around to try to find someone, and when I did ask a question, they were super unfriendly and seemed annoyed that I even spoke to them. Most of the games were broken or just ate your credits. The pizza was brought out cold and looked like it was baked the day before. People crowded around the kiosks, very confused, but nobody was around to help. It w

I had a wonderful time! The games were so fun. But the beat part of our experience was eating at the bar. The bar manager Mario was such a delight. He was so helpful with suggestions and getting our order just right. He was fun and super personable, it made the night so great. The food was awesome and the games were so fun!

They have a new manager named Chris that was effective at turning a really disheartening situation good! There weren't any waiters on deck and when we were told waiters were going to attend to us, they didn't. Chris took ownership of the situation once we alerted him to the issue, he served us himself, brought fun complimentary drinks for the kids and ensured that we had a great waiter after ensuring that the matter was rectified !

I called and in guest services and she was a great help from the beginning as I explained to her that I was home for a short break on deployment in Florida. ??I expressed that I wanted my 5 grandstars to have a blast and eat without breaking the bank. My oldest grandstar choose ME. I walked in and was literally escorted by Traian from start to finish with my purchase ?? Everything went south when it was time to break and eat. It was explained that the combo requires you to eat then play. Of course we did

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable! The Cheese sticks were amazing! Oh and Sabrina made an outstanding Bacardi and Pineapple! Main Event?.check it out!??

I was surprised for my visit as it's rated highly but wasn't my experience. We came last Tuesday and it took 35 minutes for us to even get a server, the kitchen was out of things, the service was so slow, the food when it came was good, I got my food before I got my drinks which was confusing to me and I didn't even get my drink til half through my food. I paid for my kids to get the Shirley temple however they were out of stuff to decorate it with so I still paid the same price for the drink for just sprit

The only reason I said 2 stars was because the staff was so rude tonight. Especially the girl manager who took our order on lanes on June 26th 2025. My brother was paying out our tab and I came late asking to see if he could get military discount and she said she already rung it up and is processing, totally fine but then she rolled her eyes at me and when we were getting our shoes and talking she scoffed and rolled her eyes again. So rude. Then at the winners choice the girl there was being so rude to me a

My family and I didn't get anything to eat, but we really enjoyed the atmosphere and the arcade games. This was our 2nd time going. My son & I played the virtual paint and it was SOOOOO fun. I didn't want to leave lol. I highly recommend this establishment for lots of family fun. We will definitely be back.

Despite the fact that they were short- staffed , the service was great . The servers were very polite and helpful, very professional. The food was delivered quickly and it was very fresh . There were a lot of us here , coworkers , with team building activities. I recommend this business for the good restaurant and great entertainment.

Perfect place to make some great memories and have some fun laughs. David helped us get our cards and answered all of our questions. HIGHLY RECOMMEND

So on June 22nd I was recommended to take my 6 year old son to Main Event and was excited to go. My plan was to sit down, have lunch and then allow my son to have the best of fun with all of the games. That didn't happen. When we first walked in, we went to the restaurant, there was a sign displayed that said "wait for host to be seated" we waited and waited, saw employees walked by and no one approached us. After a while nearly 10mins of waiting (could've been more) I finally just flagged an employee down

This is a great place to go for family fun. And also to enjoy a good meal and watch Glitch games. The server staff was very friendly and the food was well made. They even accommodated my request for. Specialty beyond meatBurger patties with no charge.

0 customer service. The girl upfront to help people at the kiosk, doesn't know where she is or what her job is. She's playing on her phone. Noone works here. You do everything yourself and the kiosks barely work. I typically don't even do reviews or complain. But this is ridiculous. Lazy people run this place. Lazy.

Joseph was very helpful and kind to us. It was our first time here and he made everything else so easy. Thank you so much!

I went to main event with me and my family on Saturday and I had a blast the food was AMAZING and came out incredibly fast and the bar drinks were delicious also everyone was so helpful my server Sabrina made the entire experience one to remember I've never had better service in my life and her suggestions on the drinks were spot on definitely coming back it was a ten out of ten experience and the games were a plus next time gonna spend the extra bucks on the activity band to get the full experience!!!!

Had a good time at a business event here. Food was decent and fresh. Service was good at the bars and for food. Mostly we went bowling. It was a fun experience although our lane kept knocking down pins as it would set up the second frames. No big deal though as we were having fun.

Be careful when you purchase concessions with cash. My niece paid for her food which totaled to about $16 with $100 bill, and the cashier kept her change. She tried to convince my niece (who is a teenager) that she paid with a $20 bill. We spoke to the officer on duty and the manager who ended up covering for the cashier. He said he looked at the camera, and we weren't allowed to see them. While the cashier probably needed the money more than my niece, it's still about morals. They know what they did, and

Came here last minute, had my doubts since I haven't been to main event, but I was baffled. Had a great time, felt like a kid again. Brian, helped me when I got there, and made it easier. Thanks man

Victor was an amazing host, we were brand new to the area and he was extremely helpful and made sure we had a great time

I had a birthday party today, I had a great experience with the hosts who were a great help with setting everything up, including help with the decorations I brought myself. I had a lot of help with everything including the clean up and putting all the stuff away, didn't have to do anything. The only thing I had problems with were with the activities I had for my guests. The laser tag, didn't have enough set up for my 20 guests. Also some of the vest where not working properly, I asked for help with one, an

Just a fun place to go. Took my nephews there and had a great time. There was only a few of us, but I can see how it would be perfect for large groups as well. There's so much to do. Highly recommended.

Had a fun time did the Lazer tag, and it was a serious workout, lol, but I loved every second

We really like coming here but the last two times we have come the service is terrible. Vanessa at the front was too bother to let us know the host was gone when I thought she was the host because she was just standing around with RBF. I observed her being rude to other people waiting for the staff as well. The first table they tried to seat us at was dirty and had sauce all over the seat. The second table was so sticky and nasty. We ordered all our food at the same time and I asked for the appetizer to com

Had a great time here, GREAT service from the workers Jayla was very helpful and very nice she helped me manage my cards and helped me with the process. overall 10/10

Food is okay. Service is okay unless you get a party then they take good care of you. I just took my wife here and I probably tithed 10% to the machines that didn't work. All in all it was a good date.

Y?all ruined my son?s birthday!!! From false reservations to not even putting in our food order!! When asked about it your employee stated it will be out!! 40 minutes later still nothing! Then come to find out y?all never even put in the order but charged my card for it!! All reservations were complete BS!! Paid for wrist bands for all access and was a complete waste of money!!! I WILL NEVER COME BACK TO HUMBLE MAIN EVENT!!!

So I had a great time there, we celebrated the birthday party for my husband's God daughter.... I did not really want to eat the pizza that is included as the party package so I went to the restaurant and ordered me a Caesar salad with chicken it was supposed to come with eggs in addition to the usual toppings of the Caesars salad, but when the salad was delivered to me, my server did not inform me anything and I noticed that both the eggs and croutons were missing.... After I pointed this out to my server

First time here and I loved it. Came here from out of state and it was something new. Brian helped us a lot and I appreciated it.

I went on a field trip, and it was really fun. The wings are the best on the menu, but the bartender forgot my change, but he told us he was new, so it wasn't his fault it was the restaurants fault for not training him properly.

David was amazing. Very helpful and polite while attending us. Great experience overall.

First time at a Main event with the family. We did the bowling for 2 hrs and had a blast. Got some pizza and nachos. The pizza was better than expected and the nachos were awesome as well. We didn't stay for the arcade but next time we plan on it. Everyone we delt with was really nice and we had no issues.

This location is great for family time together. All of the staff members were attentive and helpful. I had some questions, and Brian got them answered right away and made sure my family needs were met. Awesome customer service. Great job!

We've been to Main Event a handful of times and it's always incredibly busy, so this time we decided to go on a Monday as soon as it opened. There wasn't that many people there so my son was able to play games quickly so I recommend going on a day and time when no one would normally be there, otherwise you'd have to wait in line. Several of the games were offline/not working. It was quite a bit of them and since you're already spending so much money on these game cards, you'd think the machines would work.

Came on Monday for the all you can play promotion and had a great time, kids were happy, the staff was super friendly. Had negative experience last year but this visit was wonderful!

Went for a night of bowling. Atmosphere was nice, easy process to check in for lane. 10 minutes into our game we asked the bowling attendant about drinks, he stated he would have a server come to our lane. Throughout our hour game I noticed servers at other lanes hanging out talking with one server almost 15 minutes at one lane. Still continue to wait. It wasn't until we had 2 minutes left in our game that a server finally come over to get our order. Needless to say we didn't get any drinks after waiting 40

This location has the nicest employees! So helpful and friendly. The staff will go above and beyond to answer any questions. We had a great experience!

This was such a fun experience! Came here for my birthday and Roxanne was super kind! So so sweet! Thanks to her for making our experience memorable!

This place was wicked awesome. Fun for all ages! Victor assisted us in navigating this place and getting all our activities!

This was our second visit to this Main Event location. The prices are higher than a lot of their competitors but their selection of arcade games is pretty good. There weren't as many non-functioning games on this trip as there were last time. The floors and restrooms were dirty yet there was no less than five of the staff members sitting around and chatting with each other. The kids had fun with laser tag, bowling, walking the rope course, and playing the arcade games. Overall, it's not a bad place to take

Very limited variety of games. The vast majority seem to be of the carnival type, claw grabbers, skee ball and the like, the type where you win tickets redeemable for cheap knock off prizes. The service was extremely slow. To begin with we had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. Had to wait even longer for our food. And when it arrived it was terrible. The photos are of things we ordered but found inedible

Excellent service truly immaculate!!! First time here from West Virginia, staff member Brian was friendly and helpful!!

Visiting the area. Main Event is not far away and seemed to be a good outing for the kids. Online it says there is a Monday special for $12.99. I didn't see anything mentioning that it was either $12.99 for the arcade, OR $12.99 for the activities. Not all access. The kids picked the arcade, but later told me many of the games were broken. I sat in the restaurant while they played. I ordered a strawberry margarita and the chicken platter. Everything had a pleasant taste.

Victor was a lot of help on this visit :)) answered all my questions. Nice friendly environment really recommend this location.

Just a fun nice place for everyone. Customer service is great the staff goes above and beyond at this place ?? ?? .

We love this place. Keri took good care of care of us. Great spot for a beer and watch the kids have the best time.

I don't usually leave reviews, but our experience at Main Event was frustrating enough that I felt like I had to say something. We were there for what was supposed to be a fun night of bowling with friends, but ended up wasting nearly an hour just trying to get someone to help us with a lane issue. Multiple employees said a manager was coming, but no one ever did. When someone finally showed up?I think his name was Brayn, maybe Brace or Brian??he didn't seem interested in helping at all. No apology, no sen

We had family bowling night here at Main Event. Main Event is a great place to bowl. Very clean and efficient. The only thing missing was no music. We will definitely go back.

Victor was such an amazing help with choosing activities and getting things set up. Thank you! The kids love this place!

Place is great and amazing staff Brian was so nice and quickly helped us get situated!

The customer service at the Humble location was great! The atmosphere was wonderful. I don't have any issues with the Humble location. My issue is more with the the Main Event franchise. I went online prior to coming to this location to search for rates. I found a section that advertised "happy hour specials for a limited time only" The happy our rates and times were in big enough to read. I went to the humble location thinking those prices applied to all there locations. I was wrong. I spent way more than

Was amazing! Had a blast. Here Victor helped out a lot. Great guy. 10/10

The place was Horribly unorganized when gisting my daughter's school function. Unactived play cards were passed out to over 50 kids. Parents were left standing to be seated without direction from staff for over 30 minutes

It was my son's 14th birthday, we had 8 kids and 2 adults. We had a blast! And Lyric the employee that helped me and my husband along the way was AMAZING!! I WILL make sure when we go back for any event that we request Lyric. She was beyond helpful, made sure she did everything she could to make our time very special. She was super sweet, knew what she was doing, she was upbeat and attentive to anything we needed. She made our night wonderful. The place was a blast and all the kids even us 2 big kids had a

I was excited for a fun night at Main Event in Humble, TX, but it turned into a complete disaster. We waited 20 minutes for our food, only for my buffalo chicken sandwich to be overcooked and my fries to be cold. On top of that, our waitress Stephanie never provided a receipt?only when we asked for a manager did we see that we were overcharged. My total should have been $75, yet I was charged $92.20 because a $17 tip was added without my consent. That is credit card fraud! This is completely unacceptable, a

The service in the restaurant and bar area is horrible. Waited for drinks and food for a long time. All the booths are dirty, the waiters are no where to be found except in the back of the kitchen area texting on their phones. Games are fun, everything else is not very satisfactory.

Terrible experience. I thought I'd take my kid for a fun day at an arcade, but it was pretty miserable. Most of the games were broken, and even the ones that worked normally were blatant rip-offs. The staff did give us our credits back on all the games that just took our money, but when it happens on 5 different games in a row, it's very disappointing. If you're looking for an enjoyable day with your family, go somewhere else.

Keri was so awesome and sweet! The atmosphere was so fun. I definitely will be coming back soon.

Full capacity. Busy busy. Various options to eat. We didn't wait the three hours to bowl. Looks like a cool place. We sadly had to leave. Will try another time. Will change review once we are able to bowl and play.

Keri came up to us in the front as soon as we looked like we needed help with the machines she was amazing we are definelty coming back love the atmosphere

I didn't eat so unsure of the food but I did let the MOD know of throw up in family restroom when I arrived I returned back to the family restroom to change my daughter's restroom and it was still there over 45 minutes later. Then we got a play card and tried to play 3 different skee ball games with failure cause they were missing the balls to the game I let associates in the ticket room know because that's where I was directed and the told me they were looking for the balls and they may have fallen other g

Brought my kids to have a good time. We had not been here before. Keri was able to help us get started and answer all our questions.

This place is great!! Come here every year for the nieces birthday party and have a great time. Victor is especially nice and helpful.

Lots of games great atmosphere kids had a Blast!!!

Entered with no plans. Staff was great with all our questions. SO MUCH FUN

Keri was very generous and helpful with me and my party as soon as we got inside and was always there to help us if we needed anything

We love Main Event. Place is always clean and sanitizer available in multiple areas. Staff has always been friendly. We love the unlimited games pass they offer on Mondays. They have an awesome obstacle course above the entire game floor, along with laser tag. So much fun for the family on any night. Pool tables and bowling are awesome too. They offer a decent snack bar but that is the one thing that could use improvement in, their options are limited, but still not bad. They offer a full bar with bar stoo

Went today to get out of the heat. The queso was cold, the wings had no flavor and the service was subpar. For $80 I expect better quality and service.

My grandkids and I had the MOST fun I've EVER had! Place was AMAZING! Manager named Ben, amongst others went WAYYYYY out of their way to accommodate us and help us understand how everything worked..etc....BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!

Your go to host would be Shalom. She is such a sweet and helpful person. My daughter group needed assistance on the best way to go about hanging out for the day and she was able to assist us with every question we had. Always ask for her and she won't disappoint.

Place is okay but staff is rude. Not surprised since it seems like they just hire a bunch of high school kids. Went last night (2/23) with my kids and this Hispanic looking lady who was running the zipline was being rude to the kids. I saw her rolling her eyes, rushing the kids when they were clearly nervous, and was just unprofessional throughout the whole experience. Never again.

Attended two birthday party?s this past week Thursday and Friday. They both gave us arcade cards and got to play laser tag. Some games didn't work or were broken, and also we couldn't keep the tickets we won on it for some reason. Won so many tickets but was told can't redeem them. Alot of cool upgraded games with oculus and etc virtual games , my nephews and son loved it!

Nice place for both adults and kids! The atmosphere is fantastic. I would recommend it for a date night or a kid's party. It's a bit expensive so make sure you are prepared to spend some money.

Had a great time with the kids. All employees are super friendly especially Keri who was very helpful and kind .

My son, myself and another friend of mine, we each got the all you can play deal activities and arcade games. When at the bowling alley the server never came after requesting one 4xs, eventually I went to the counter to order. I was given the food on an extremely hot black tray that was almost hot enough to burn me! I asked for water twice and didn't get it until 15 minutes before the bowling time was over ! Thanks to Nathan he gifted us a free Sunday for the inconvenience. Shortly after we registered for t

We took our boys (2&4) on a weekday so it wouldn't be busy. Someone at the front helped us sign up for wristbands which we were told was for unlimited activities. We didn't realize it wasn't for the games and they were too small to do any of the activities. We had brought our oldest before and played laser tag with him and were expecting to be able to again. I believe the company changed owners and changed the height requirement so we couldn't play even though nobody was there and he was a couple inches sho

Broo bring back old lazer tag, this new one sucks. Theirs shields and more than half my shots don't ever count

Walked in not knowing what we needed for our group. Staff memeber walked up and thoroughly explained everything. Great experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience.
