Sat. 03/08/2025- We went to celebrate a friend's birthday. It was our first time at this location. They have plenty of video games, a zipline, escape room, bowling, and bar area. They were extremely busy today. We had a good time with friends. We had the pizza ??, burger and fries ?? ??. The hostess was on point and did a great job. ??

UPDATE:Main Event was Awesome when I reached out to them. The management addressed the issue with the staff and took care of it. We will give it another try? hopefully they earned a 5 star. The management sure did. Absolutely horrible food and service.. soggy tacos, waitress kept going back to check if they have stuff available went back 4 times once to check if they have meat for hamburgers. Never came to check once on the table.. I had to get up and ask for silver ware (got plastic fork and spoons) waitr

Fantastic Service! Our experience at the bowling alley was made even better thanks to our amazing server, Lawren. They were friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed the entire time. Whether it was food, drinks, or just checking in with a smile, their service was quick and professional. We had fun bowling on a Sunday evening kinda last minute. It was very busy but the staff seemed to be trying to keep up. It was loud and the food was decent. The bathrooms needed attention! :(

Honestly, this visit to Main Event was a mess from start to finish. The shuffleboard table was slanted so badly we couldn't even play a proper game. At least six other games were broken, and the card descenders didn't let you check your balance or reload?pretty basic stuff that should just work. I ordered a bottled Powerade and had to go up to the counter six times asking where it was, only to finally be told they didn't have any in stock and handed a cup instead. The drink machine? Was there for my nephew's birthday party. Great atmosphere for kids to adults to have fun for hours, video games, bowling, laser tag, plus much more. Staff seems to be great. A special shout out to Andrew. I was sitting separately from my family watching the NBA play offs, and asked if I needed anything. Was not expecting that kind of service. Many of the arcade games were either out of order, missing essential components like balls, or visibly broken, making that section unusable. I'm leaving a bad review simply because of the bartender Andrew and the manager Sydney. I ordered two single shots of crown one which was visibly lower than the other. I asked if they can be evened out and he just took the other glass and poured into the other glass in front of me and the manager Sydney. He then proceeded to say we should?ve ordered a double if we wanted more. I wasn't asking for more or a double. Just the same amount in each glass that I was paying for. Good experience, my nephews loved it there. Went on a Friday at arrive 2 pm, but the crowd ramped up quickly. The building did suffer a power loss, so to make up for it they offered a $10 play, but the line was way too long to redeem it. The food was pretty good, it came pretty quickly. The server was nice and tried to keep my tables cups full. I'd visit again.

We went to this place for the first time with 10 different people that we were gonna have a great time. I had my son's 13th birthday party here. I was so disappointed in the staff and service. Our party host picked up our food before we were finished eating. We always love going to Main Events in different areas. This one in Grand Prarie was nice, but owner/operator needs to make a no cell phone policy for employees! I cannot believe how many were standing around on phones or hanging out. On a positive note, food was great!

We played bowling, ate pizza, played at the arcade and it was really cool. The most interesting thing is that this place is fun for the whole family. Easy access, parking lot for any time, the staff are very nice? As a result of this, I went back several times. I recommend this place for birthday parties and for fun.

Fun place, but mediocre food and waaaay too many broken games!!! I lost so much money on broken arcade games, VR games, and crane games. My kids would swipe the card on many of these and they'd take their credits, without functioning!! It is impossible to keep up with the broken machines and was impossible to find staff for a refund. If I could give less than 1 star I would. I have been trying to call the event center for the last 45 minutes. No one has picked up my last 20+ calls. We had a time block booked and a family emergency happened and we needed to see what our options were. This is completely unacceptable. No one has answered a single time or attempted to call back. When it comes to having a birthday party here it is so bad, they are unorganized and made us wait over 2 hours to set up our table after they had told us we could?ve set up like 15 mins before the time we had booked for. Some of the staff had very nasty attitudes as well. And the pizza is poorly made too.

Great time bowling and playing games with the family. The only reason I didn't give it a five-star review is that the system went down and the waiter had to write everything by hand we ordered and it took an extra 30 minutes to leave.

The Family Kitchen food was DELICIOUS! The salad & wings were VERY fresh! The tator tots had a VERY unique taste, which I believe was dry ranch dressing on them & they were perfectly fried golden brown just like I like?em ?????? Was excited about visiting this location and was sadly disappointed. The service was horrible, the mini escape rooms were broken, a lot of the arcade games did not work, and the workers were lazy spending most of their time playing on their phones they didn't even offer to help the little kids with putting on their laser tag gear or explaining anything to them. As close as this location is to Waxahachie I will never come back or recommend this location as an option.

We went last night (Thursday) to celebrate my niece?s birthday. Thomas took care of our large party and did an amazing job. Honestly, amazing is an understatement, that young man was attentive, quick on his feet, and gracious. Thanks again T, I hope you get the recognition you deserve! The kids had a great time. The little ones really enjoyed it, they loved the zipline and lazer tag. While my oldest enjoyed bowling. The food was good, the bartenders were very nice and attentive. The one down side is that if you buy the packet for the "all you can play" the bowling shoes are not included, so there is a separate fee for the bowling shoe rental. Over all the kids loved it, I enjoyed that they all were having fun.

Game room vs diner was like day and night. Everything to do with the games and activities was 10/10 including staff. The restaurant side was complete disrespect!
