Main Event is a fun-filled spot for all ages! While you're enjoying the games and activities, don't miss out on their delicious food?especially the cotton candy Shirley, fried pickles, and honey barbecue chicken wings. The place has a great vibe, the service is quick, and the staff is friendly and helpful. Definitely worth a visit!
This was the PERFECT birthday party for a pre-teen. It was so easy to book online and I loved that we had the bowling lanes as a "home base" for the parents to sit and chat (and bowl a little) while we had some food and drinks and just let the kids run wild in the arcade. Jeremy (I think he was the manager?) welcomed us when we arrived and gave my daughter a bowling pin with her age on it and it was signed by the staff - VERY cool keepsake and it made her feel so special. Savannah was our server at the lan
Well this was my first time coming to this location and I am very sad to say that I am considering not returning. At the time my dad was in town so my kids and I were in the city visiting with him and my brother (he lives in the area). We wanted to go out and have a good time. That was made a bit sour when we encountered Mr. Jeremy in the Family Kitchen area (whose name tag said shift manager). When asking questions he was very dismissive and unhelpful. We ended the night enjoying ourselves but moments lik
At Family Kitchen; great welcome and service by Jacob. He also prepares a good Margarita and caters to our granddaughters wishes of special Icee mixes. Great vibe and ambiance. Our granddaughters ages 9 & 6 are delighted. Food is mediocre but not bad. It is what you would expect at an arcade / bowling. The front desk folks are not good at explaining what the place is all about, but you can figure it out. Better experience thanks to Jacob and the team there.
Over the weekend I had a birthday for my daughter and we did get the ultimate gamer package. Overall experience was great for the kids. But when settling the bill they did add an SVC charge that was not disclosed on the package at the front when we booked. Also, according to the employee, this was not the tip for the service team and it was to use the facility. When you are booking please make sure you have room for extra charges that will not be disclosed on the packages.
Everything was perfect, shot out to Axle, the best server ever. He was so attentive and kind with me and my friends, that he made our night so much better. We will for sure come back more times because of his service!
I just wanted to say I had a great time at main event haven't been since I was a kid. Spoke to the manager jonathan and he was very polite and made everything run smoothly. He really set a example for his fellow workers.
We went for bowling with 3 families on a Saturday night. It was 40 per hour for bowling. No issues with bowling alleys etc., I'd recommend this place for bowling. Kia was the front office staff who was decent in answering my queries etc., We ordered loaded chips and they weren't great, they can do that better.
I only come to arcades to play Pump It Up, and when I swiped my card x4, it start the game and ate my credits. Staff were quick to address it, and they refunded me my credits; however, they never returned PIU to a state I could play it. Other games here were also not working right-- calibration on shoot em up games were off; ball sink games weren't depositing balls; buttons weren't registering presses on multiple cabinets. I did come here months before and ate from their menu. Pizza wasn't terrible, but i
Bit pricey but definitely lots of fun for the family. Don't forget your garanteed duck in the spinning claw.
Not friendly staff all time. They sold summer pass saying up to six people are allowed to bowl in one line. Today they say each person should be having pass. How is it even valid ? So having Summer pass won't everyone get their own lane to play? Not at all friendly staff at second time.
Nate made my night when I went here. It was overall a good time not the most expensive but Nate?s service went above and beyond!! Will come back because of him!
Had an awesome time at Main Event, and a huge shoutout to Savanna, our bartender. I'll admit, I gave her a bit of a hard time, but she handled it like an absolute pro?graceful, patient, and beyond impressive. She never missed a beat, kept things fun, and delivered top-tier service the entire time. Major L on my part, but major W for Main Event for having someone as impeccable as her. She's the kind of person who elevates a company. Looking forward to coming back!
Review for Main Event Frisco - Jacob and the Bowling Center We had an absolutely fantastic time at Main Event in Frisco, and a huge part of that was thanks to Jacob?s exceptional service! From the moment we arrived, Jacob made sure that everything was perfect. His attention to detail, friendly demeanor, and willingness to go above and beyond truly enhanced our experience. He ensured that we had everything we needed, and his positive attitude made our outing all the more enjoyable. The atmosphere at the bo
I visited the Main Event in Frisco as a part of our office team building activities outing and it was a fantastic experience. The combination of arcade games, a sports bar, and great food made it a one-stop destination for entertainment. The arcade games offered a wide variety of options, suitable for all ages, and I had a blast playing them. The sports bar provided a relaxed atmosphere to catch a game while enjoying drinks and tasty food. The menu had a good selection, and the service was excellent. Overal
Just had my daughters birthday party here lastnight, we had Makayla as our host and she was amazing, very attentive and made sure I knew what was going on the whole time. The arcade was clean, with minimal games out of service, laser tag and the gravity ropes were great for our party. We will be booking parties here in the future.
Probably the most people friendly location, I have been to! Thank you Jessica for your help, your staff is truly amazing and was 100% responsive and polite. Most places have over half the games down but here, my kids had a great time and the area was clean! 10/10 will be back.
Was my go to spot but NEVER again. Bowled with a big group, time ran out 4 frames away, asked the attendant to extend a little so we could at least finish our game and he refused. Food was overpriced and terrible. ?Loaded? cheese fries was Kraft ?cheese? product slices, a spoonful of bacon and toppings over frozen fries-stone cold by the time it made it to our table. Plus it was about the size of a McDonald?s medium fries for $10. EVERYTHING now is done through the front desk. Need pool balls, bowling sho
For the most part the kids enjoyed their selves, I took my niece and nephew out of town to visit here. It was a wait on absolutely everything including the rides that were supposed to be offered in the day pass for $121.00 dollars. Every ride paid for in this package was either down, understaffed or couldn't be played. It was absolutely a mess. The only breath of fresh air was the manager, he went above and beyond to try to make it right, but by that time I was livid. I wanted a refund, everything I paid fo
It's a nice event center and good entertainment for kids with bowling and arcade. Laser tag was kids favorite. Pizzas are do good and in house. In house food and drink is very advantageous incase we need more which is not the case in other event organizations.
DO NOT RECOMMEND. Came in to bowl just me and my daughter. Didn't get a server so I walked over to the kitchen and asked if I could get a server to order food. The lady said she'd have someone come over. No one ever came. Went to play games, asked for help checking the points on the card and the man with the glasses was extremely rude and hostile. Working in a family establishment is not for him. I have never had such bad service at a place like this. Extremely disappointing.
The Main Event location in Plano was far better than the Frisco location. Plano location is also more spacious. Now..let me start by saying that upon arriving I noticed that there were children running everywhere. The parents should be held liable and the facility staff should advise parents to watch their children. I had several kids almost knock me down. The young lady at the bowling counter was sweet and polite. However, the young lady who led us to our lanes was not nice and she was lazy. She literally
I recently threw a 6th bday party for my son and our party host, Arianna, was amazing! She was so accommodating and on it. She was so kind to my son and all his friends and family. The food was fast and delicious, the arcade had so many options and bowling was a blast! If we had more time we would have done the laser tag. Every staff member was professional and so kind. We will definitely be back in the future, thank you all for making a great experience for my baby ??
We had such a good time. We took my 10 year old grandson on an outing with my son (his uncle) and his wife for his birthday. All the game play from bowling, pool to air hockey ect was great. It was so much fun. And the food was great. We started off with cotton candy Shirley Temple and ended with a double bacon cheeseburger and a huge sundae that we shared. Can't wait to go again
Nate games attended. Super cool chill guy made the overall experience just amazing with laser tag
Good fun place for a party or just Friday night hanging out. Food and service is good. Better to get a whole day pass.
Jacob, the bartender gave us the greatest service and helped us truly enjoy a night out with the family. We were so grateful to have him. He's a good asset to your company and when we come back, we want him to serve us!!!
So excited to go to main event today but instead of a day filled with entertainment and laughter it was a day of fun cut short. Upon entering main event the $30 play all day deal immediately caught my attention. I happily paid for the deal thinking I was in for a day of fun and excitement. However, shortly after purchasing the entertainment package my group of friends were ordered to leave. Just two and a half hours after we'd arrived we were told to ?come to a stopping point? in the middle of our game of
Don't order food at the bar. Waited at least 45 minutes for food before we cancelled the order and went somewhere else. Shuffleboard tables are/have been BADLY out of level. I had to adjust one of them that you couldn't even keep the pucks on the surface. Bad staff did not care that food had taken so long and avoided us when we went to the bar. It wasn't even that busy on a Thursday night. Front counter had no idea how to do the wait list for shuffleboard and charged more than the website shows for time
We had such a good time we came for Father?s Day Angelina and Rachel in the arcade section treated me and my family so well we had such an amazing time made our experience so much better thank you gals!! ??????
I hosted a party here recently, and I have to say Main Event Frisco failed at just about every possible chance. They lost our reservation for the party TWICE. The first time was early on, and I realized I hadn't received the contract for our party to sign electronically, I called and spoke to Valentina in the sales office, and she apologized, fixed it, and offered a VR game to each of the kids in the party. She was the only redeeming part of our experience. Everyone else needs some serious lessons in custo
I visited Main Event for bowling and was pretty disappointed. The pins are now held by strings, which takes away from the authentic bowling feel. Also, after my first throw, the remaining pins were often reset incorrectly, making the game frustrating. Overall, it feels like the quality has gone down.
Went to a birthday party , the kids thoroughly enjoyed themselves. There was no shortage of interesting things for them to do. The staff were great with the kids. What a fun place!
This place is amazing not just for kids but adults as well. We had our company?s town hall where we were served with chicken wings and pizza. Both of them were amazing especially the Buffalo Chicken Wings. Staff was really friendly and ready to help everyone. Arcade games, bowling area and especially laser tag were awesome. This is kind of place where you can spend your entire evening with your gang with loads if fun. Laser tag game was amazing. Also there is bar as well where you can sip your favourite dri
Jacob was such a phenomenal server. He was warm, he was attentive, he made sure that we had everything that we needed from the moment we were playing pool to the moment that he served us when we were bowling. I highly recommend him as your server when you visit this location. Awesome job Jacob!!!!!!
My basketball team went to have some fun after having played in a basketball tournament
Amazing staff and amazing games. We were there for a company event but all the staff, food and games was as expected. Thank you for such a wonderful time.
Great venue for kids and adults too with bowling, laser tag, miniature golf, lots of games and other amenities!! We celebrated a birthday and our host handled all our needs and requests!
This was my first time here and it was within my expectations of places like this. This location had gravity ropes, karaoke, bowling, laser tag, pool and an arcade area. I went for a team event and I enjoyed it. Only issue we had was when bowling the rack wouldn't reset once and we tried calling directly from the screen. Advice, don't bother with that, just go get the person servicing the bowling area because those people get priority.
Fun place for the kids. They've made some changes that probably help them organize but also make it harder to use the activities. You have to get on a list at the front desk for activities. Then be there on time in a line. Little difficult for kids and there was no prior notice or instruction given at the front to do this. Service can be difficult to get even on off nights. Food is mid but I suppose what I would expect.
Main event is not oiled up. If you bowl by hooking the ball, then you should never go here ever. No oil, warped boards, smaller pins with strings, and a machine that will scratch your ball like crazy. Never go here if you bowl seriously. My own ball is practically ruined now.
It's sad when a waitress messes up your order and they leave you the order because your correct order and then another waitress says I need to take it to fix your order ! I don't mind but waited 20 mins for my food to wait another 15 mins to fix it. That is poor customer service food was not good after it all ! I will not come back and will make sure I let everyone know how horrible the service is.
This is going to be a more critical review against Main Event, so keep that in mind. I would say that from my experience of going to Main Event twice, it was decent. Or more specifically, it was decent at the Frisco one. Main Event has a lot of gambling-like arcades which can be fun, air hockey, laser tag, gravity ropes, VR (virtual reality), bowling, and pool. Out of all of these I would say I most enjoyed the VR, bowling, and air hockey. This is due to the fact that I personally enjoyed them with my frie
Went to play some billiards and air hockey. The employee over in the bar area, Bailey, was awesome! He was really attentive and took good care to make sure my friends and I had a great time. Definitely a great location!
Totally subpar experience for a birthday I spent well over 500$. I got the VIP package and picked 4 events. I paid for double laser tag, they ushered the kids out and said it was time to go. My party host was nowhere to be found when I actually needed her. She did however find my husband in the bar and got him to pay including tipping her. She didn't help the kids with bowling I had to ask other party hosts for the stand that holds the ball. I told her we had double laser tag. I never saw her again she just
Zach, Jojo, and Reynaldo provided excellent service! I enjoyed their lemon pepper bone in wings, season fries, and celery! Very clean location-everyone in my group had a great time. We love Main Event Frisco!
Michael and Nate are the best ever and they helped me on the ropes course for my first time ever, I definitely recommend this location awesome staff!
Great experience ! Gabriel was very attentive! Variety of food
This Main Event in Frisco is pretty amazing!!! It has Laser Tag, Gravity Ropes course, mini golf, karaoke, arcades games, bowling and pool tables! We went on Monday during Monday Madness and only paid $10 for all day play on the activities (did not include arcade games). Monday Madness is every Monday after 4pm. The food is a decent price as well.
Used to be so much better? not sure it's going to make it much longer. Went tonight and tons of games closed down, the cafeteria style place was closed. When I first walked in at 4:30 the little gift shop had the roll up door closed but it opened by the time we needed to redeem our tokens. Probably won't go back after dropping $100 on arcade tokens and 1/4 of the games unplugged or broken.
So crowded over weekends, otherwise it is great place to spend time with family and friends. Food quality is good. Staffs are friendly and helpful.
Best place to be on monday. Love the atmosphere
Aaron, hannah, and the guy in the light blue shirt from laser tag completed our date night with their kindness and service!!! We appreciate you guys so much!
My goto place with my friends on the weekend for quick pool table. Overall cleaning could be improved. Will be back as it's reasonably priced.
The service is good. They really to try and make you feel welcome. However, HOWEVER, the facility itself it falling apart and needs renovation or facelift or both. The food was gas station bad, and but like buccees, no. More like 7-Eleven. Maybe worse but way more expensive that has station good. So just please don't plan to eat there. The mini-golf is a joke, honestly, don't bother. No one's in attendance and it's a filthy corner. The Lazer tag is good, very good. Didn't get to play bowling because the wa
Had an all around great experience. Starting with event sales Kierra who was both accommodating and very helpful and ending with Manager Danny who took very good care of my family. I suggest getting a hold of Kierra as I did so she can set up an event tailored just for you. Thank you guys for everything !
We went there for a birthday party and the pizza was not good. And they had potato fries & nachos, which is the only option for vegetarians.
Today, we had a highly unsatisfactory experience at Main Event while celebrating my son's 12th birthday. We had ordered two pizzas for a group of seven kids. To our dismay, the pizzas were served with dirty plates. As the children eagerly tried to enjoy their meal, it became apparent that some plates were unclean, which was quite unpleasant. In response to this issue, we took photographs as evidence and promptly informed the staff, expressing our dissatisfaction. Unfortunately, the manager's reaction was d
If you come to bowl you get what your coming for. But when you have kids that want to play games this is not it. The food menu I suggested eat before you come or when you leave.
We love this place everytime we visit Texas. They have lots for the kids and there are several deals you can benefit using. There's high ropes course, Lazer tag, arcade games and ticket winning arcade games, and bowling. For the older crowd there's a bar and karaoke stations. There's also a restaurant that serves pizza and other snacks. Definitely a place to stop by that caters to a variety of ages, perfect for that hot summer day or weekend outing.
Completely un-professional! Ordered food (just a Pizza) for my 8 and 3 y/o daughter when we first sat down to bowl. The food took 55 minutes to come out. I had to let the pizza cool for a minute, so my 3 y/o could eat it. Our time ended 4 mins after that. My 3 y/o was still eating so we were there 5 minutes past our time, but they sold the lane we were on to a group of teenangers. The manager told the teenangers to come tell us to leave instead of having an employee discuss it with us. I asked the manager w
Waited an hour for our food when we were the only table. The salad they brought my sister was nasty old wilted and gooey lettuce. The rest of the food was great. After our much longer than expected meal, we let the kids play $50 worth of games which didnt last long. Then we stood in line at the "Winners Choice" counter for them to pick out prizes. The line was only 5 or 6 groups of people but took a painstaking 30 minutes of back-pain. Next lazertag... We went to the lazer tag area to be told that we had t
Hadn't been here in years. I was pleasantly surprised by all the new activities and updated atmosphere. The guys at the main desk were awesome, patient, and took their time to explain all the activity and purchase options. Since my group planned on doing several activities, we opted in for the all-inclusive pass that allows unlimited bowling, billiards, miniature golf, laser tag, and ropes course. Video games and food are paid for separately. Food and service were phenomenal. Our waitress was very attentiv
We had one hour play pass and kids had so much fun. Laser tag is also fun with two kevels of play area. Great place for kids arcade.
Absolutely an epic time spent!
Very unpleasant experience Basically teenagers run the place and make it apparent they would prefer to be elsewhere. Overpriced, less than clean and not child friendly. They put kids in a bowling alley next to adults from a league. Seriously. Pizza burned to a crisp. I could go on. All for $150 . Bowling lane inoperative for half of the hour I paid for. No refund. Then we paid for mini golf for 4. Upon arrival, we were told it was closed for a party so we should come back in a few hours. Which w
This is a great place to take a mid afternoon break when you need to have a little fun. Ski ball, video games, pool and bowling, such a fun experience with family, friends, or coworkers. We had a "brainstorming" seasion here, and no joke, we came back to our work challenge with new insights and renewed energy.
What a great place to take the kids or hang out and catch the game with friends! A little expensive considering all there is to do inside this huge event center, but everyone in your group will enjoy this place. It has more fun and entertaining choices inside the building than most communities have in the entire city. Can't wait to come back again soon.
We had a birthmark party in here. It's really fun and I especially like this main event because it has the Gravity Groves! We also enjoyed the laser tags too. The all you can play offer was awesome.
Good place to hangout during summer. Loved the gravity ropes and laser tag.
I visited Main Event in Frisco for the first time using a gift card. Initially, I wasn't aware that I needed to convert it into a fun card upon entry. After experiencing difficulties with the arcade games, I approached the kiosk for assistance. Unfortunately, the staff member there didn't have the necessary authorization to convert my old card and had to seek approval from their supervisor, causing a slight delay. It was a bit confusing for first-time visitors as the staff had trouble explaining the process
Wow! We celebrated our son?s 6th birthday here today and everything exceeded our expectations! Our party planner, Noah, was VERY attentive to all of the various details and needs of our event. He worked so hard to make sure all of the kids had their bowling shoes, helped get them drinks, serve food and transitioned the activities flawlessly. I was shocked at the attention to detail from the general manager, Jeremy! The location was very clean and well taken care of. The staff truly went the extra mile to ma
Cameela's birthday party here was very enjoyable. She loved the pizza, bowling, games, presents but most of all her friends. Thank you all for coming to her birthday party.
The cost of the good is super super over priced a hamburger is $14.00 switched it for bean patty which was additional $2.47 then every thing added was 1-2 dollars Cauliflower small pizza was 1$4 plus every topping was $2 made a small pizza $30 Insanity Never eating this sub par food again
Great place for kids and teens to have a few hours of casual fun or a party. Bowling lanes, arcade games and laser tag...all in one place. Great facility. Food is not great here and it's a bit expensive
Had a great time for Father's Day yesterday. Very clean and felt safe. All the staff wore ?? (the correct way over the ??) and all was good. 14.99 unlimited bowling, lazer tag, mini golf purchased before Noon. Looking for something fun and safe... check out your nearest Main Event!
We had a great time. Family environment. We actually had a team building work lunch on a Friday. Not only did we eat. Have a great time. We got paid for it!!! Can't beat that. We were treated like VIP customers. Highly recommended!!! We bowled and play videogames on the clock!!!
This place is really awesome for company picnic or large events . You have bowling, pool, laser tag and gravity ropes for the adults and multiple arcade games for the kids. You definitely won't get bored
Lively place for gamers, quick meetups, parties. Family friendly ambience, friendly staff. Love going this place with family or friends or colleagues.
Had my son?s birthday party there. Great bowling lanes, the server was quick and the games were fun. Laser tag is a must if you have a big group playing.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. While we bowled, we were regularly checked on to see if we needed anything. Food and drink service was prompt as well. The rope course goes over top the minigolf course, which is both fun and efficient. The referee for lazer tag was accommodating if someone wanted to switch teams to be with their family/friends. The ref even joined in for a game when we had low number of people and played free-for-all. The staff was also more than happy to help if we had a problem
Very good place for kids and adults to spend time. They got bowling and snooker.
Weekdays are the best time to go. A friend of ours had a birthday gathering tonight here. We had access to everything with no wait. Clean, service was friendly. Wasn't a fan of the rap music playing but that's just a preference. My husband ordered chili cheese fries. The plate my look a little heavy but he said they were amazing.
One stop place for kids entertainment and events. They could have done even better with affordable food options with better packages.
Waited an hour for 3 orders of wings and a personal sized cheese pizza. When they finally came out it was apparent they had been sitting under a heat lamp as the ranch and celery were both hot ?? The wings are pieces of random meat/bones. I have never seen a chicken wing shaped like this.
Great place to have fun with family and friends! Very clean with a great assortment of games/activity?s for all to enjoy! Helpful staff!
Great atmosphere for kids to have fun, but the service to get food is atrocious.
So I have taken my wife and two kids here twice. I would also like to preface that it was fun because we had fun ourselves doing bowling, arcades and eating. Food is good but really costly. My biggest gripe for both times is the servers. Although they are friendly, they are extremely slow, somewhat lazy and absent a good portion of the time. They love to congregate as shown in the picture. This is also because they started to finally move around. I had to leave bowling alley to track someone down to get ser
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.
Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.
Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
