Customer Reviews

This location was extremely disappointing in terms of cleanliness. It took an unreasonably long time for our server to bring ranch for my salad, and we never received the appetizer we ordered before our main course. Overall, the service was poor, and I'm not happy with the experience.

We stopped in on a Friday after while in DFW area for my husband?s school. Allen was our waiter. Very helpful, informative and patient. The restrooms were super clean. The food was all delicious.

Took forever to get the food out. Nachos were lukewarm and they didn't bother to mix the cheese with the other toppings. Not good at all. Some of the bumpers were stuck halfway up on my lane. There was another lane with the same issue. There are much better places to bowl with better service/food.

The food was amazing.. The pizza was amazing.. if you want a awesome cheese stick.. Come to Main Event.. the cheese pull game is real.. The funnel cake sticks was enough for 4 people to share.. Sooooo good? All around a fun place that I will come again..

Recently had a family reunion fun day and the staff were amazing, attentive and effective communicators. It was a smooth process for reserving and confirming leading up to the event. Thank you all so much!

We came to Main Event to have fun and good food. What we got was far from even good. The Caramel apple cheesecake had barely a dollop of cheesecake on it, the cheesebread and DEEP DISH PIZZA was more bread then anything else, and it was flavorless CORNBREAD. When I tried to find a staff member to find out why this happened I was waiting for 20 mins before I decided to leave the front desk and continue bowling. Just for me to see FIVE staff members come out of a backroom at the same time about 10 mins AFTER

We came on a Monday night from 6-8pm to the location near Bryant Irving in Fort Worth. Why is everything so sticky? The floor, the countertops, the menus, the tables. The women?s bathroom was trashed as well. It wasn't a busy night, so not sure why things weren't being cleaned. On a positive note the staff that we encountered were pleasant. Just think the place could use a good scrub down and cleaning.

I had a great first visit to Main Event! The staff was patient, helpful, and kind, starting with our initial interaction. We opted for the "All day play" pass, which included bowling, laser tag, shuffleboard, and pool. Service during bowling was friendly, thanks to our server Khalif. We ordered fries, a personal cheese pizza, fries and loaded queso; all were decent but slightly too salty, earning the food a 6/10. The "Boss margarita" was hit-or-miss, good on the first try but inconsistent on the second, so

We came for a family outing. For people to bowl it's expensive in general. Over $75 for our family. When we sat down we ordered soda?s then a couple of minutes later the adults ordered beers and cocktails. Nothing was ever brought out not even the sodas. We were waiting and we only had 14 minutes left of bowl time. One of us went to the bar and our drinks were just sitting at the bar minus one. It took a while until someone acknowledged us. We finally got our drinks with 6 minutes of bowl time left. Absolut

This is the cleanest Main Event I've ever been to. The games were all working, prize area was well organized and stocked. I went to 3 other main events in the area this past month and they were all a mess. I come for the games and the other ones had broken machines or faulty mechanics in the ticket games. I didn't find one broken or fault machine here. I would take my friends to this one even though the drive is a little further because of how much nicer it is. The manager, Destiny, was super nice as I had

A very good place to spend time with the whole family or friends. My daughter played for the first time and was simply delighted! I was pleasantly surprised that there is a stand for easier play for children.

Main event is a good place to with family and friends. Really enjoyed the bowling, laser tag, & arcade!! Mack had excellent service! He was super friendly, quick, and very helpful with any questions we had! 10/10 would come again.

Came here for a first date on a Thursday night. I was hopeful for my first time visiting, it seemed like a good idea. We wanted to get a drink and food before bowling. We walked up to the host stand and stood there for 5 minutes, no one came to greet/ seat us. So we found ourselves a seat. We sat there for 30 minutes before two waiters stopped to ask if we had been helped, we answered no. Then 20 minutes later a girl comes out, doesn't properly introduce herself, says ? Yall want food menus ? and took our d

Came to Main Event to take my daughter on a play date with her friend and we (mothers) set at the bar enjoyed the football game and Allen helped us with food choices and drinks. He was so attentive and had great customer service! Would absolutely recommend a night out here

We had my daughter's 10th birthday party here. Our host TJ was awesome. She was so nice and very attentive to anything we needed. She kept us abroad of the time and the flow of the party went so smooth. Every bit of the service was excellent. Highly recommend getting TJ if you can!

Great atmosphere! Something to do for the entire family. Shout out to Caliph for providing an amazing experience for my family during our game of bowling! Caliph was attentive to our needs, provided service in a timely manner and his personality was very welcoming! Thank you!!!!

First time doing a birthday party, and the service was top notch. We had a dedicated person (TJ) who was with us the whole time and walked us through the entire process, and made it stress free and enjoyable. She went right to work and didn't hesitate to take the initiative. She even set up the decorations we brought, had an amazing attitude, and made us feel welcomed. Was really amazing and kids had a great time. TJ went above and beyond.

Abby is a great server. She always take great care of us. The kids love the arcades. The bowling is fun and the food is pretty good

We had an awesome time here with my family. Bowling was so much fun. Donny was great at helping us during our visit. Would definitely recommend.

Staff was friendly and the kids had a lot of fun! We purchased the Fun Pass that includes unlimited bowling, laser tag and billiards. You have to pay extra for arcade games and karaoke. Its kind of a rip off that you have to pay $17 for an hour in addition to having to pay for each song you sing with your arcade card- kids had a blast though! Pizza was delicious, so is their ice cream and bar! A fun night out!

Love that there is so much to do, but on the night we went, a lot of the games were not up and running. The food options could be better, but overall, we have a good time bowling.

I had an amazing experience at Main Event thanks to our server Allen! They were incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure our group was taken care of all evening. Their drink recommendations were spot on, and they even went out of their way to customize a cocktail for us. The service was quick, and their positive energy really added to the fun atmosphere. Thank you for making our visit so memorable! We'll definitely be back and hope to see you again!

"Dom at Main Event is the epitome of stellar customer service! His infectious enthusiasm and dedication to ensuring every guest has a phenomenal time are truly unmatched. From the moment we stepped foot in the door, Dom's warm welcome made us feel like VIPs. He effortlessly guided us through the array of activities, providing insightful recommendations tailored to our preferences. Dom's genuine passion for creating memorable experiences shone through in every interaction, making our visit truly unforgettabl

I never leave reviews but this made me leave a review. Everything was normal busy Satirday night so I don't expect the BEST customer service but I ordered wings three times to only be told they never made them for me agter a whole hour and they would take them off the bill for me...(oh, thanks) obviously you'll take them off i never got them. Then it took me the whole hour I played to get drinks I ordered. I honestly hate leaving bad reviews cause I'm customer service employed as well but come on this was

Our night at Main Event was absolutely perfect, thanks to our server Allen ! Their service was top-notch, and they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. They were super personable, made great conversation, and had such a warm, welcoming attitude. The drinks were amazing?clearly crafted with care?and their recommendations made the experience even better. This level of service really stands out, and we can't wait to come back!

Took my toddlers here for bowling twice so far, and we have so much fun. 4 year old and two years old. The staff are friendly and helpful.

Our bartender Allen ended up being our service provider and was absolutely amazing!!!

Fun atmosphere. Laser tag was fun. Some of the arcade games are broken, but still take your money? not so fun.

Super fun. Nice, friendly waitstaff. Plenty of parking. Will definitely go back. The bartenders were great. Nice selection of beverages.

Avoid the shakes. It's like shredded ice all the way thru. Ordered at the bar as instructed two mason jar cheesecakes and two Oreo cookie shakes. The person whom took our order was quick and had to step in to get our shakes because we only received our cheesecakes but not our shakes. Didn't expect em immediately but they just never arrived. Went back to bar to confirm the order did go in as requested and here is proof of purchase that we did in fact order shakes. We still did not get them right away then ei

We went there as a work team building activity. Bowling was fun...not a fan of pins on strings....but they were ok. Food was great...Fajita meat is terrific. Very friendly staff. Opens at 10am...they were a little more strict on the game cards...got 5 games in. The shooting game (Lazer Tag) was pretty fun...although, I need to learn how to work the weapons better...

A great place to spend a good quality time with your family and friends. The place is always clean and the employees are very friendly and professional. Highly recommended...

My daughter and I came here and we rented a bowling alley. They told is after 20 minutes that we had to move from that lane and that they would let us use another 1 when available. After paying 50 dollars to bowl. They were very rude.

Title: "A Night of Thrills and Entertainment at Main Event Fort Worth South" Review: Recently, I had the pleasure of experiencing an unforgettable night at Main Event in Fort Worth South. From the moment I walked in, the vibrant atmosphere set the stage for a fun-filled adventure. The variety of activities offered something for everyone in our group. The state-of-the-art arcade had a fantastic selection of games, catering to both classic and modern tastes. Whether competing for high scores or collecting t

KeKe thanks for being so attentive to the needs of myself and friends and making the experience phenomenal. The service you provided was beyond exceptional. Amazing energy and a great smile. I would highly recommend visiting this location.

We had a really large group for a birthday party. Abby was so attentive and helpful. She made sure we got the best service possible.

Our Bartender today was Allen and as always, the service was top notch. He was busy, but made sure that not we were taken care of but everyone at the bar. He is a big reason that our experience at the South Fort Worth Main Event is always very good.

Doesn't list the prices on all prizes. I picked something out of a cube shelf that had a few boxes in it. Tag said 1100 so I assumed everything in there is that price. Go to Chad out with that item and some other stuff and the girl at the counter shows me I only have enough for only a few of the items. Since I had over 1800. I was like oh how much is the big item and pointed over to the 1100 tag sitting in front of it. She said it's 1600. I said oh why wouldn't it be labeled. She shrugged her shoulders. I j

Spent the evening here with my partner. We had a great time bowling and gaming. The service was friendly but an issue with the key card took awhile to be resolved, and a few arcade games seemed to glitch, which is why a rating of 5 was not given. Will be returning soon! Update: We have returned since - great food and company!

Cecily was amazing with front desk, with providing reasonable suggestions for my family stay at main event and helping me save and get best deals. Anita was great she was well organized, very informative and helpful with all of my questions. Definitely will be back to this main event far one of the best one.

A group of us stopped in the do some bowling. Even though it was busy the service was great! The pizza and fried cheese were good and the drinks from the bar?even better!! I will be back!!!

MALIKI WAS GREAT! Our cards had many malfunctions and he was more than happy to help! We are so thankful! He was so nice and was so generous! 10/10 recommend! From da trio on January 16!!

I've been here before and the place was well kept but this time it was pretty gross. Ice cream spilled everywhere drinks and ice all over the floor not to mention the bathrooms were so nasty you pretty much couldn't use them much less take your child in there. Half of the games didn't even work either. It looked like no one was on cleanup duty or management just didn't care.

I recently visited the Main Event Center and had the pleasure of being served by Alan. He was incredibly attentive, friendly, and made sure our experience was top-notch. Alan went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed and even offered great recommendations. His exceptional service truly enhanced our visit. Highly recommend asking for Alan if you want a fantastic dining experience!

We had my son's 20th birthday party here. It was so much fun. The party host was attentive and friendly. Bowling was great. The teens and younger adults loved laser tag and the arcade. Us parents enjoyed the pool tables and shuffle boards games. It my sons girlfriends idea. We had never been here before so we didn't know what to expect. We were very pleasantly surprised to say the least. The food was good. Pricing was good too. Definitely would recommend!

We have been going to this Main Event for almost 10 years and have usually had great experiences. We took our children last night and were extremely disappointed. The employee who walked us to our lane reeked of marijuana so much so that my kids were asking what that smell was. The service was pretty slow and upon receiving our order of loaded fries, we were presented with cold fries with cold shredded cheese on top. My husband respectfully asked the server if we could have the loaded fries we ordered (baco

We had a great time on Monday for the Monday Madness event. The kids had a blast. Games were great, place was clean and staff was excellent. We will be back soon.

High dollar but the Laser Tag is hard to beat. Nice time frame for the game especially if it's not too Crowded. Video Games have come a long way and$1.50 and up is probably What they're worth. The Concessions On the Other hand are quite ridiculously priced in my Opinion. Though the pizza was tasty at $4.50 One would expect a New York Style Slice, no Such Luck.

I would not say I love it here but there is the opportunity to play pool, laser tag, video games, and bowl. They have a lot of food options and it is not too loud considering all the bells and whistles, etc. The staff is super nice and it is fairly clean. I recommend this place to get in out of the heat and do some fun activities since it is in the mid 90s here with 100% humidity. They also have mulspots where one can sit down if they are not playing games.

I needed to keep my grandson and my nephew occupied for an hour and a half. This was the perfect answer they had just enough time to play enough games to win tickets to go and buy a small amount of candy.

My waitress was so patient and helpful throughout the entire time we were there. Will be coming back again just because of her service and patience.

I'm here with family having a great time until I realized I left the pacifier in the car I go to the door and manager said if I go out the door I cannot come back inside unless I'm with a reserved party I'm here at main event with a baby who wants her pacifier. Stuck inside

I love playing pool with my kids here, bowling is pretty cool too, and the arcade is small, but my kids have fun. They have a bar and good food too.

I'm giving 3 stars bc my 2 previous experience here were pretty good. I'm really disappointed I spent over 15 min and $15 dollars for this. I live less than 5 min from here so my fries should not have been cold/old and the portion should have been slightly bigger. I will not rate lower than 3 stars bc it's more of a consistency issue as I know the quality exists bc I've experienced it before? I just don't know if I'm willing to waste the time and money on chance again.

Aqua took care to make sure that we had everything we needed the entire time we played bowling and ordered food and drinks. She did an outstanding job and I would definitely ask for her again at this location! This was such a wonderful family time out!

Brought my son to Main Event for the first time to continue his 3rd Birthday festivities. Our server Alyssa was very friendly and awesome. The Rainbow Soda Pop drinks are pretty cool

We came tonight for my son's 7th birthday. Everyone was dressed up for Halloween, and it was super festive. Our server Aqua was very polite, attentive, and fun. She made my son had a great time on his birthday!!! We will definitely come back!

?????????? I had an amazing experience at Main Event, all thanks to our server, Abbey. From the moment we arrived, she went above and beyond to ensure our visit was perfect. Abbey was attentive, friendly, and incredibly efficient, making sure our drinks were always filled and our food arrived promptly. Her positive attitude and genuine care for our enjoyment truly stood out. She made us feel welcome and valued throughout our entire time there. If you visit Main Event, be sure to ask for Abbey ? she'll make

Had a great experience, very friendly and helpful staff, especially the bartender Allen, who was more than helpful and super nice! Definitely would recommend to all of my friends

Super fun place for my kiddo. Having Allen as your bartender is key. He's great and makes his job and your experience worthwhile. Enjoyed our time here.

Food took like 30 minutes and the chips and queso were cold when I got them, sent them back for re-heat took another 10 minutes. Tables at the Cafe were dirty table at the bowling lanes were dirty took a long time before someone cleaned them.

Awesome service!! Food and alcohol drinks where great. Sean was a really nice waiter! The Strawberry mojito hit the spot.

We had an absolute blast on our date. Plenty of games to play and most of them worked as expected. The only complaint we had, despite hardly anyone there, it was extremely warm in the building. We were planning to play for a couple hours, but cut it to 45 minutes as it was just too uncomfortable to be playing games and being active. Thankfully we decided to buy the smaller option for cards and reload it as we went. So no money lost!

John crafted an exceptional Oreo Brownie shake, demonstrating his creativity and assistance. Would definitely come back and recommend this.

We love coming here for arcade games and drinks! Allan is awesome? always very courteous and professional, and he's an excellent bartender as well. We've never had bad service here and always look forward to coming back!

Had a team building event planned for Dutch Bros employees... Thank you for accommodating our party to get us exclusive game passes and minutes to bowl! Most of us had a blast and enjoyed the bonding experience Main Event created ?? Come see us at our new McPherson location! Only advice would be to fix y'all's queso recipe. Our chips and queso were really runny and didn't taste the best. However, our pretzels were on point! Thank you!

Wow! I LOVE this place! I wish there were places like this back home. My brother and I did the day pass because we weren't sure what to do, we ended up playing 6 games of bowling and 3 of pool so it was definitely worth the money! The employee that helped us (Haley) was so nice! Everything was clean. Their Shirley Temple drinks were delicious!!! Would highly recommend for a few hours of fun!

Donny really turned our night around, my spouse and I. Had a great time playing pool, had some food and drinks. You can't run a place like this without great staff and due to Donnys attention we had a really great time

The kids loved the laser tag and games, but the service to get food and drinks was horrible! Very short staffed and always gave excuses for everything we had to ask for multiple times. Once we got our food, the quality was actually good, but not worth the wait.

Donny was great and extremely helpful. He really turned the night around and made all the difference. He had a great attitude and was offering to help everytime he saw us

Allen at the bar was super helpful in choosing the best deal for our meals! Very accommodating to our large group! Food was great!

Good bowling and games but the machine took my money and when I went to talk to staff no one was at the desk and I waited for probably 15 minutes

Came to main event ft worth after Grand Prairie was slacking in service the last few times we went. I can definitely say that this main event gave us 5 star service. The employees were amazing and so kind and they made us feel so comfortable and made our time there amazing! Abby was our server and she was the cherry on top of our time there. We will definitely come back and bring all our friends and family!

We enjoyed taking our son out for a night of fun at this location Jaida was a great server. We bowled first and she still made sure we were taken care of as we played games. Excellent service.

Place is okay. The price they charge for the unlimited activities just doesn't match. The bowling, for example the bowling part. You okay 1 hour and then they make you stop and out you on the waiting list. Just doesn't make anything sensed. Family of 4. Can't even play 2 games in that time.

Came in today for birthday party and spent some time at the bar. Ken the bartender was amazing. Drinks were on point. Will definitely be back for adult time

We love this location because Allen is super fantastic. He was so helpful in getting us the best offer for our money. Very friendly and funny!! We will be coming back just for him!

About a month ago, I took my 4 kids to enjoy the 2 free games at Main Event. I paid $21 for 4 kids to get shoes. The bowling was good, and a waiter came quickly to see if we wanted any refreshments. This part was nice. However, I planned to let 3 of my kids play laser tag afterward. It costs $8 for 1- 7.5 minute game of laser tag. They had a video informing the players how to use the weapons and the rules. This video was so hard to hear over the music they had playing next door in the arcade, and they sta

I held my daughter's 4th Birthday party here and it went about as well as it could for 16 kids under 10 bowling, eating, and playing games. The souvenir bowling pin could have been better. They hand wrote her name and it rubbed off b4 we even got home!

I had my grandsons birthday party and the host TJ was wonderful! She was attentive, and outstanding. The food was great, and my grandkids loved the laser tag! The other parents have booked their party already and requested her as the host, if you are booking a party there I suggest you do the same?. I promise you won't be disappointed.

First of all it's frustrating that the company is not transparent about their prices on their website. The good is that there's a lot to do and the prices are midpoint. Our visit was on a Saturday night so it was pretty busy. Because we got the all game package we got to play laser, billiard, and bowling almost with no wait in between. However, we had to ask for a server several times even when the bowling lanes weren't that busy. Then at the end of the game we kept asking for the bill and we got it almost

Allen was super helpful and friendly during our visit today. Great service, fantastic attitude, and very knowledgeable.

Donnie was great. Sean was a great server. Camryn was great. Great service all around. Food was awesome. Best birthday ever!

Mack our server was awesome, very polite and courteous. Got our drinks in a timely manner and was always very helpful when we needed it. I would highly recommend you ask for Mack when you're there, he'll definitely take care of you.

First time experience for a work event and I have to say it was a great experience. Staff is super helpful and friendly, making our experience all the more pleasurable. Make sure to swing by the bar and say hi to Allen. Once we were done with the official business. He started slinging drinks and keeping our party going! This ain't just for kids!

Had a great time for not a lot of money. great place to hang out! our bartender Alan was very helpful and kind.

My son always has a blast here. I recommend the sonic Olympic game if you want to have fun and the monopoly role the dice game if you want highest yield of tickets for your "tokens".

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels.
