Customer Reviews

Went during the weekend with my kid and some of his friends. We had some pizza & funnel fries. Very delicious food. After the kids had some fun and got some things from for the points they had. All the kids left happy and full. My kid told me later that evening he had a great time!! Sucess!!

Really fun day with the company. I used to come here when I was a kid, 20 years ago, and it's been significantly improved, and incredibly clean compared to years prior. Loses a star because the pizza is the worst pizza I've ever experienced. It barely qualified as food. Dry bread with tomato sauce, flavorless cheese, and chicken chunks that had been freezer burnt. At least it was hot, I guess.

I was at the facility three times in the past week and the experience was below average every time. The staff is not friendly. The facility is not clean. It has a dark gloomy ambience which I don't enjoy. We had call the waiter multiple times before he took our order. The quality of the food is below average.

We came stopped by for my son's sixth birthday and he had a blast. The manager even came by to check on us to ensure everything was going great. Now let's see if I'll ever be able to drag my boys away from the Minecraft game. Everything's been excellent!

We had a great time for my son's birthday. Our hostess was awesome, and she did really great meeting my needs. I believe treating everyone with kindness and respect goes a long way with receiving exceptional service. We were impressed with the quality of pizza and sliders and more menu items. All the kids had fun and didn't want to leave.

Main Event is the ultimate destination for fun and entertainment! Whether you're looking to do bowling, play arcade games or try your hand at laser tag Main Event has it all. The atmosphere is vibrant and energetic, perfect for families, friends, or even corporate events. The bread sticks we got are also top-notch, offering a great variety to satisfy any craving. Highly recommended for a fun-filled outing!

Had a great time, staff was very nice the bartender Hannibal was super helpful! Had a manager named Ashton check in with us to make sure we were all set. Will definitely be coming back soon!

Service was good, food decent and games OK. Review strictly on Bowling - no oil on the lanes, very dry wood -balls do not slide and spin into a roll. -prone to gutters for a hefty hour rate -lanes are bumpy -balls are chipped and not good -string pins, not for your avid bowler. Recommend servicing the lanes, balls and oil the lanes for better and more accurate Bowling

We went to Main Event for my son?s friend?s birthday party?his very first time there! While the kids had a great time overall, the experience was a bit chaotic for the parents. Our little ones didn't notice, but there was zero communication from the party host about the agenda, so we felt left out of mini golf and gameplay. We ended up sitting around and eating for nearly an hour and a half, unsure of what was next, with no host in sight to guide the party or answer questions. That said, my son had an abso

All the lanes were open and all the games were working. Kids were easily entertained and food was good. All the toys you get with tickets from the gift shop are cheap. Dart shooter broke within a few minutes of opening. They're exactly what you expect.

Had a blast spending our evening here! So much to do. Both the mini golf and bowling were really fun, I love the neon! Great staff as well, helpful and friendly. Overall a great experience, my only complaint would be how expensive the drinks are.

Good for family bowling/gaming arcade, having visited Fort worth Main event which had rope climbing, was looking for similar activity but didnt find in here. Attached the pricing for events as of December 2023. Food is good, cafeteria is beat and cleaned regularly. Gaming experience was nice and staff fixed a machine which we reported. Have a good gaming

Even though I was not able to book an official room for a birthday party the lady at the front still went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed and checked up on us regularly. Pizza was amazing and my son had ?the greatest birthday party ever!?. His party was over the weekend and my son makes sure to let me know that kids are STILL talking about how great it was. Highly recommend!!

I do not know how people are saying the service was good, every single worker has an attitude as if they are always doing you a favor. Extremely rude, don't give money to people that don't want to do their job. The worst person here is the manager btw, the guy on the grey shirt, always condescending and with an angry attitude.

Had a wild hair to sneak out with my youngest in the middle of the night to go waste some money! This was a great spot for it too! My kid got a free soda from the bartender! That was our biggest perk of the night! Great arcade! There could have been more of the classic games, but I'm old so what do I know??? My son had a great time. Can't wait to go back with the whole family!

The guys at the bar by the pool tables were great..friendly .. my drink was soo good.. the spike strawberry lemonade.. the wings were good and hot.. although we sat at another table where 2 waitresses were .. but the didn't acknowledge us or say they were getting off or anything.. they kept on sweeping and buying the other tables.. so we moved to the bar... they took care of us there..

First of all, it is a great place to play bowling and billiards. Other than that, mini golf is okay and laser tag is absolutely empty and unnecessary. I am not interested in other small games. The water inside is too big and spacious. As for the food, it is not very good in terms of price, performance and taste. I did not like it, but in general, it is a great place to play bowling. I recommend it.

This place has friendly staff, games for kids all ages, and good food. Great place to escape the Texas heat. We will be coming back soon.

We recently went to this location while we were on our family Spring Break. The atmosphere was great and Abi was very helpful. She even gave us recommendations on what to do next while we were on our trip. The place seemed to be short staffed for there was only one lady working the mini golf, Laser tag, and the price store. Regardless, she was in great spirits and professional despite the circumstances. I didn't get her name but we were there March 11, 2025 at around 12pm. Overall, we plan on coming back on

A waiter could have walked around me because of where I was standing but instead just stood in front of me and looked annoyed. I moved and he shook his head and said something under his breath as he walked away. I confronted him and he decided to later come find me in the arcade and ask what my problem was and then told me to leave. I told him I wasn't leaving and he went to get security and I never saw him again. This will be my last visit. There was nobody there anyway so the larger, more expensive attrac

We came at 1:00 pm on a Friday and it was pretty dead besides a kid birthday party. On some of the games we tried only one player worked which kinda sucked for my son and daughter who wanted to play together. There were no out of order signs on such games so I was outta such money. Overall I would say my kids had a blast and we will be back to try the food and maybe some other activities that are offered.

Great fun plenty to do can spend hours here foods alright but laser tag is great fun with big groups

Just a warning to be careful with their deceptive marketing. This was posted all over the entrance as a ?special? they're running. Thankfully, I asked if the special was available at the kiosks as well and they said yes. When I go to check - the ?special? for the larger recharge is actually the same exact price with the ?upgrade? prices automatically added into the total price. No chip difference at all. Worse is for the $30 packages - you're actually paying for for less credits (190 for $32 on the specia

What an amazing place for family fun! Today was our first time here. This place has 28 lanes for bowling, an arcade, pizza place, bar, restaurant, and so much more! Customer service was amazing, and food was tasty. We will definitely be back!

Main Event Austin is a great place for family fun, on any occasion! We celebrated many birthdays here, from kids to grandparents and everyone always has a blast. The restaurant is delicious and a great environment for celebrating. Then we choose one of the many fun activities available, blowing, arcade, rock wall, laser tag, or miniature golf!

The front desk people were great they made us come twice!! We're Out of town visitors and they really had their customer service skills down and their pricings are fair for a large family to have fun! Atmosphere was great and worthwhile . Recommend for a date . Friends or family !

People in the Parking lot trying to break into cars. Staff are really nice. And helpful they need some security in there, someone tried to break into my car and just left damage on my door, must of been a fynt zombie bc I remember years ago there been no homeless in the area. But before I walked in I saw guy with a backpack walking around hard but he was heading to the DQ so didn't think much of it.

Fun experience for work team bonding! Had a great time and 2 complimentary drink tickets: [they restrict between the white/red wine or specific beers for the complimentary ones] it was fun and a good experience. I enjoyed the glow in the dark mini golf course

Ashton the manager came by to see how we were doing and if we needed anything. Carl and Gigi were awesome servers and the experience overall was great!!!

Everything was great until the young lady with the laser tag decided she wanted to give a long explanation for tag and gel instead of just saying go to the counter behind me to sign up. She wasted our time for no reason. But everyone else was great, especially Ms. Teyana. She got us signed up for everything and on our way! We didn't get food. Only played games.

We booked the Ultimate Gamer birthday package for a party on MLK Day. The staff was fantastic, the birthday team service was efficient, the food delicious, and the layout impressive. However, the laser tag experience, a significant part of the birthday gamer package, was disappointing. Half of the equipment used by the 10 gamers in my group malfunctioned. To make matters worse, the employee informed us that the equipment had been malfunctioning for months, and if we were lucky, we might get a laser gun that

I have a gamer so of course we went for the games. A friend of mine had me try their burger taco (can't recall the actual name) and it did not disappoint. Chef's kiss!

My first time visiting! I had a great time and caught a Monday $11.99 game special. They have this feature where you can put your face on the scoreboard lol so I did! I did bowling the whole time, food and drinks were so good! My server was cool too! I will be back! :)

We had a lot of fun! But I have had a couple of experiences here that annoy me. The last time we went we wanted to eat but they would not clean off a table for us and told us we could sit in the bar but I told them no because I don't like my kids sitting in the bar area. But this time we ate while bowling and we had a good waiter. We bought the all inclusive package that include everything but games. We decided to buy a $20 game card but found out it has a $2 activations fee (WHAT WHY)! Other then that w

We selected this location as our primary location on a Saturday night. Our family members were gathering tonight as a result of our visit to see them. When we walked into the facility, the front desk was not able to accommodate us for well over an hour and a half. Some of the kids went to feed the game machines and play the video games while we waited and called around for space. It seemed like a great place for our family night out, but this location was not able to make that work. I checked around the are

Wow! First time at a Main Event in Austin and I am beyond blown away by the customer service. When we walked up, Crystal was so informative and patient in helping us navigate the inside. Crystal told us about the $12.99 special they have on Mondays at 4pm which was a steal! Hannibal at the bar is incredible too! So great at multi tasking and ensuring bar is fully stocked while also providing above and beyond service. Gabby assisted us quickly at the bowling lane counter and had such an upbeat and positive a

Great place to have fun. Everybody enjoyed it. We'll be back. The screen has restrooms. Nice friendly, helpful Employees Made our experience amazing.

This is the perfect place to go with a group of people when you dont know what you want to do. They have Games, Bowling, Pool, Rock Climbing, Mini golf, Lazer Tag, A full bar and a mini restaurant. The price point is a little high and flat out confusing in some respects. Went there to play some pool and was told by reception they had some 7$ unlimited pool thing going on but then the guy at the bar said it was 7$ per 30 minutes during prime but it wasn't prime time so it was 6$ per 30 minutes or something

We came to celebrate a birthday and we had a great experience due to the server that took care of us. Nate, was very interactive with us and made us feel at home. Everyone should get the Nate experience. 10/10

Such a fantastic place. I prefer to having fun indoor than outdoor. My son was enjoyed all kind of game machine. He is happy, I am happy.

Great place for kids and adults. More geared for kids obviously, but similar concept in the arcade as Dave and Buster's. Rock Climbing area is good for beginner rock climbers, no challenging routes, but a good way to keep muscle up. The hand holds are enormus and the routes are not challenging. Family enjoys coming for a few hours and then it's a little too much stimulation, so perfect for a small mid afternoon break.

The manager came by to greet us and asked how everything is going. Our waitress also constantly checked on us.

The bowling is always so much fun and with the option to take photos for your avatar, we had some laughs! The food is pretty good most of the time too. We try to visit during non peak times. Recently we also played a few games of pool. The pool tables are not in the best shape: one of hr cups fell out of the socket every time a ball went inside. But we had a blast none-the-less

I don't understand why the waiting time for bowling was over two hours. I've been to many Main Event and it's never been this longs. The bar tender was nice and the drinks were good

Great place to have fun, go wild or just chill. You can rock climb, play laser tag, play pool, do bowling, play golf, play at the arcade, and eat delicious food. Although we encountered several machines that didnt work and the bowling lane we had kept messing up, we still had fun and managed to have a great day at main event. The greater at the door on our way in and the one on our way out were really nice and actually made us feel at home, we believe that was a nice addition to main event, keep it up!! We

This place is the bomb! Went with my fiancee, my son and stepdaughter. We almost had to spend the night it was so much to do and so fun!

Very chilling place for entertainment here in Austin. Offering ALL-YOU-CAN-PLAY ACTIVITIES for playing Bowling, Billiards, Laser Tag, Gravity Ropes and much more lot of fun games for kids as well as youngsters. Too much crowded during weekends including Friday night. Great concession on weekdays. Great atmosphere/ambience and inside with quality people. Nice taste restaurant, Casino PlayStation, kind cooperating service staff, neat and clean restrooms are good attraction to motivate people visit frequently.

Very interesting and fun place for both kids and adults. I drove a large group of school kids there, and just didn't want to leave.

Took the kids here for their birthday. Everyone has fun when we come here! Played some games, went bowling, and had an amazing time playing Lazer tag. Always one of my favorite go to places when I wanna have fun with my family!

I came to main event and as soon as I came in Cameron greeted me and made me feel welcome. He had great customer service and made my experience even better here tonight.

We had our company party here last Monday and our server, Shend (may have spelled that wrong) was AMAZING. He said he just started and despite being short staffed that evening he did a great job keeping up with all of us. We will definitely be planning another event here and specifically asking for him.

We came here for my son 10th Birthday ?? We always have such a blast. From the food to the games and all in between. This visit was cut short when a kid pulled the fire alarm and it shut down everything. We were a little sad but still enjoyed the few hours before that happened.

I loved that Ashton stoped by to say hi and checked in with us to see how we were doing. Also just a great place!

I went to Main event with my twin nieces. One of the girls is shorter than the other, so she was not tall enough to do the laser tag while her twin sister was allowed to do it. I was impressed with the workers who saw the little girl's dissapointment and offered her a prize instead. We were sent to the prize shop where she got a card to play at the arcade plus a stuffed animal. This instantly turned her frown upsidedown. Great job to the workers who were so sensitive and caring!

There needs to be an adult in the putt putt golf course. I was there with my grandkids, and 3 older teens were playing field hockey and taking so much time at each hole. The younger 2 kids behind us were bouncing balls off the walls and not waiting for us to finish playing. Finally, at the 12th hole, we left. I told the young girl at the desk about our bad experience. I'm not sure she told anyone about it. There should be someone on the course monitoring the behavior.

It was great to be here when there were hardly any people here. We did laser tag all by ourselves, didn't have to wait and take turns in the arcade, and bowling at one end with no one within 4 lanes from us made social distancing so easy. And to top it all off the food was great and there was NO WAIT TIME in the rock climbing!!!Perfect day to be at Main Event! A special THANK YOU to the great staff too, so nice and friendly!!!

The place was very fun filled with many activities like laser tag, bowling, and arcade games. Food was good and the service was excellent. It was very clean and overall, it's worth coming here.

Just got done having a team bonding event there. Awful experience from the server to the manager. Slow day, and we get shuffled around like a bunch of pigs. Took us over 30 minutes to get a bowling game started. No complimentary drinks or anything for time wasted. Just bad management across the board. I hope that next time, we'll there will be no next time.

Ashton came and greeted us at the bowling alley. Was very nice and made us feel welcomed

We haven't been here in years! It's crazy to see how much it's developed. We came here for my daughter's birthday and they all had a blast! The only problem is the wait times!! I'd probably give them more of a 3.5 star for this, because bowling had a 3 hr wait and rock climbing was 1.5 hr wait. I don't even remember Laser Tag's wait, but it was enough for us to be limited only to the arcade games section. It was still a fun evening though.

Great service and generous people! Would recommend people to come here with family and friends. Especially Ashton!

We have always loved Main Event. This was our first time back after living out of state for 8 years. It did not disappoint! We got the $19.95 unlimited play wristband(only $10.95 after 9pm on Fridays) which allows you to play any game(pool, bowling, rock climbing, glow golf, and laser tag) as much as you want until they close. The arcade games are not included but they had a special on those as well but we didn't purchase it. Main Event is good clean fun and we will definitely be back with our kids. Even th

Had the day off so my son and I decided we were gonna go get into some competitive E-LEAGUE SPORTS GAMING. What better place than a grown ups ARCADE!! The place was clean and the noise was a bare roar! Pool tables and shuffle boards off to the right were packed! Bowling lanes litup with black lights and big TVS at the end of the lanes !! Awesome setup! Two spots to eat, main restaurant or a pizza joint!! Burgers and fries were onpoint!! We came here on a recommendation from a young lady by the name of Bai

Wow! Had a great time! Great recommendation by my wife in California. Thanks Shea.?? My 2 nephews and I enjoyed 7 games of bowling, 4 rounds of laser tag, glow ball mini-golf (18 holes) and $30 worth of fun cards for taking the online surveys. Had a ball playing air hockey, giant pac-man, giant space invaders and a variety of other arcade style games. Staff was very helpful, courteous and professional! Recommendation to all adults: While bowling, purchase the Teriyaki glazed Salmon plate ($14 + $20

Awesome place. They have bowling, arcades, mini golf and other fun things to do. Plenty of parking and room. I went there several times this spring and always had so much fun. The price is good. If you have free evening and do not know what to, please visit this place.

We love Main Event. Many options for everyone. The food is great.

A really friendly manager helped me! would recommend this place is super fun!!

Food wasn't the best quality, but the presentation was done very well! Customer Service was slow but very kind. And the prices are a little over for what they offer. Over all, the kiddos love this place! And we had a good time.

Nice place to take your family and kids if you want to spend some family time great food games for kids and pool lounge for grown ups

We had a group event on a Sat to go bowling ? Wheat was our server at the lanes and did an amazing job. We were all the way at the end and he was attentive, quick, and friendly. He got napkins, drink refills and was so helpful and positive. The lanes at the end were great .. our reservation was at 12:30 and everything was ready to go on time ? excellent experience ? would for sure come back! Thanks! (We have come numerous times on monday PM and it is really busy but still great - we really appreciate the mo

I remember coming here as a kid. It must have been fun if I kept coming back, but I did wish they had more interesting things to do.

The last 3 visits were horrible. They had minimal/ not even close to enough staff and crappy service the first 2 visits. They told us about an hour wait and it ended up being over 2 hours, and we maybe were able to get 2 drinks in that timespan. The last visit was mid-afternoon, and the only service they had was alcohol, soda, and maybe a pizza. No one was capable of making a shake or any ice cream, the ones that were constantly being advertised on the TV. That was the last chance I am giving them.

Well, I have had my share of a few disappointments on the past, especially with the food department. Hannibal saved the day his customer service is top tier ! I ordered food to go at the bar. He was patient, friendly and kind I ordered the burger slides and to my surprise (chefs kiss) they were REALLY good . Main event is a fun entertainment center for all ages My son loves it here more than D&B

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE! We went on a Monday night. Numerous sanitation stations. They enforced wearing a mask. My children (4 -14 years old) enjoyed themselves very much.

I love Main event, but no one will pick up the phone I've been on the phone forevvvveeerrr trying to talk to someone at Main event just to information.

Over all great place. My family had fun. Mini golf is really run down and needs repairs.

The kids enjoyed it. It was a bit more pricey than we expected. They get cha with the "All day pass for $14.99 before noon" advertisement. But what they don't tell you is there's around $4 for bowling shoes and a minimum of $25 for each game card. For 3 people I spent around $150. Other than that, it was fun, the prizes were actually great prizes, and the staff was very friendly.

Experience is great walked in had a great vibe already , amazing staff very kind and considering ?? overall I would recommend u come here to hangout!

This place was really fun, and I had a lot of fun at the arcade and the other activities they have here!!

Had a great experience here for my first time bowling! Mini golf was a bit rough, kids need to be supervised more? but everything else was great.

Good bowling place. Also had arcade and food. Been going here since I was a kid.

ARCARDE: Some things that I noticed that were a little out of hand were some games did not work properly, but were accepting game cards and eating away credits. Some machines were missing main gaming components and in some you can see broken components hanging inside the games (pictures attached). I had a hard time looking for game attendants to make them aware of the issues. FOOD: Pizza was a little overcooked and not heated properly. Seems like it was cooked at high heat with minimal time. Crust was hard

We come here for the rock climbing gym, which is very nice in my opinion. The levels range from small kids to adult/professionals. The new belay systems are very user friendly and easily allow you to hop back and forth between the walls. The cost seems great as well. The rest of Main Event is nice, the bowling is very popular, the arcade games are newer than what you would find at it's competitors and the prices are about the same. I haven't tried the food in a while.

Nikki and Cameron are the best. As a grandparent, making my granddaughters birthday a day to remember. We thought the reservation had been made for the party. Nikki and Cameron made sure we were able to still have a birthday party at 530pm on the day of her birthday ?? ?? Thanks Nikki and Cameron!!

Place is nice but laser tag prices are high and you end up not getting much play time since they include the instruction time in the total time.

My kids love the rock wall. Also spending lots of money on the games. My wife also loves spending lots of money at the bar. Do yourself a favor and take advantage of their specials and coupons, also, leave your wife at home.

Good place to hang out for some unlimited bowling, pool, mini golf, vertical wall climbing and arcade games. You also get some decent food. The staff are helpful as well. Overall a fun place for the young and old.

Went here as a part of private event. They ran out of food within the first hour and the soda machine ran out of coke and other sodas within the first hour. Most machines are timed for less than 2 mins, and not worth it. I will provide feedback to my company to never choose this venue for future events.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
