Looks cool ?? Paid for bowling but the lane didn't work properly so asked for a refund but got laser tag instead ( so much fun!) and the staff added an extra round of fun including a play card for the inconvenience. Woo Hoo Come check it out.

Our kiddo had her birthday party here this week, we did bowling arcade gravity ropes and laser tag with accommodations for food and cake. 4 solid hours of fun you definitely get your bang for your buck. Diego was our party host and he was amazing. The only challenging thing is the wait periods between activities. Sometimes we would have to wait 10 or 15 minutes between things which can be hard for the kids but he went above and beyond constantly checking on us. Would recommend this place for sure.

Azalea was an amazing person, leader and server. She made our experience very memorable. Because of her amazing hospitality, we will definitely be going back. I recommend asking for her!

First time at Main Event; went for a club soccer engagement. I was very impressed with how clean it was; bathrooms and all, the layout was great, and the pizza and salad were good. Everyone enjoyed the Laser tag, and playing pool. And the kids really enjoyed the games. I would definitely go back. I definitely recommend The Main Event for engagements, parties, and just to hang out with family and friends. Something different to do that's for sure.

Let me first start off by saying this place was recommended to our family as a fun filled family event to do together. Of course food is top priority so we are first. Big mistake! The food was ok but not worth the price tag. For 6 bone in wings and yes I kid you not ONLY 6 wings, the number after 5 cost $16.99 (no fries included to add fries it's an additional 2 bucks). Now when I placed my order with Elijah I asked for blue cheese. The food was brought out and he gave me ranch, with a benefit of doubt I ga

We were apart of a massive group of people celebrating their JuJitsu wins and our server Haley was doing an incredible job, she was not only taking care of an entire private room full of 50 or more people but she did it with a smile, kindness and made sure everyone was taken care of - WHILE training a new team member! We are so impressed with Haley and all of her hard work and had the best time celebrating with our group!

We had a work team building lunch/event at Main Event and everyone was very pleased with the food and the variety of activities available. Our server was friendly and attentive. The food was fresh and tasted great. We had a great time, we bowled as a team, played pool, and took advantage of the arcade. It was a great time and would highly recommend Main Event for corporate team building events.

I went to main event with a few friends and we had a great time. Our server Isaiah was very attentive and made the dining experience great. Another server by the name of Ricky was also great and helped us when Isaiah was attending to a different table. Our bowling lane had a minor issue but the manager Kat made sure that we were taken care of. The food was great and the service was way more than we could?ve asked for. We will definitely be coming back again!

Monday Junev16th was a very bad night here. Played pool and couldn't get a server. Asked 3 people in purple shirts and each said they would send someone. Trinity at the bar was great (intentionally remembered her name). She offered to place our food order. She got slammed and again no one helped out run drinks or food. I asked for a manager, who listened to our concern, stated he was going to go talk to the staff. Didn't help. Pool area filled up and didn't see the server make any rounds to get orders. We g

The food and experiences were wonderful, however the staff were very rude and inattentive. With one of the activities, the staff were very rough and rude to the children around me as well as my friends and I. On top of that, most of the games were broken in some shape or form. This place is also very expensive if you want to have a good time.

Great for parties, just know if you walk-in and aren't with a party, you'll be at the bottom of their priorities. We purchased an activity pass for our kids and they were excited to do everything. The lady told us the gravity ropes opened at 12:30, so we did games and bowling first. At 12:50 we went to go to gravity ropes and were told the only public session they were doing was AT 12:30. We were told they would be closed for the remainder of the day except for Party attendees. I wouldn't have paid the ext

5 Stars - Best Bartender in Town! Trinity is an absolute rockstar behind the bar. Super friendly, fast, and knows how to make a killer drink every time. Whether you're in the mood for something classic or want to try something new, she's got you covered. Her vibe sets the tone for the whole place?welcoming, chill, and fun. If you're lucky enough to have Trinity serving you, you're in for a great night! Kat the manager also helped and was super friendly and helped me get some information for a future event

The games were overpriced, but you kind of expect that at an arcade. What I didn't expect was waiting 45 minutes for my food, having to go get the rest of my order myself another 10 minutes after that since my waiter decided chatting with his friends was more important, or the manager offering us extra time bowling because the food took so long and then not following through. Don't go here, service is abysmal. Go somewhere else where the employees might actually care.

Don't waste your money on the arcade here. Half of the games didn't work, and the ones that did are rigged. This spinning game gave the same amount of tickets EVERYTIME people used it. I go to arcades pretty often and I've never experienced such a terrible one.

The bowling was messing up but a young man with glasses helped even though he was getting off work, and he added another 20 minutes. Very cool place. I loved it . The mix drinks were strong which was a bonus. ??

I had a pretty bad experience with the staff being unfriendly and aggressive. I informed the staff I would be using the utilities expect watch my 6 year old and was told unless I woke proper socks and buy a band, I could not be near them. Been coming here for a long time, many times and never encountered this issues before. Left a very bad taste in my mouth, may have to look for other avenues of entertainment where I don't have to pay money to watch my children

Celebrated my nephew's birthday here. Pizza is below mediocre at premium price. Didn't play because it seemed overpriced. 1 hour of pool is $28. But the wait staff is attentive, customer oriented and friendly though. But food seemed below mediocre at premium price.

Waited over 30 minutes for someone to come to our table. I went up to the bar to ask if I could just get a drink for my daughter the bartender rolled her eyes at me and said she would call our server. Honestly great games, but the service and disrespect killed it for me.

Bowling was fun and so was the laser tag. Cocktails were mid and service was pretty slow. Half the arcade games were broken. The gravity ropes never opened which seems pretty odd for a Saturday afternoon. Overall, save your money and go bowling at Holiday Bowl.

My staff and all the kids had a great time! We played all the games! We even enjoyed the paint guns! Bowling was a hoot! The best part was the food! Thank you Jay Ryan! ??????

Amazing experience! Take my wife & kid here all the time! Doesn't break the bank and tires out my kid every time! Prefer this establishment over the Round 1. On top of all that their security is super friendly and professional!

Great concept of a business, terrible execution. Paid $90 to have some fun with my family then it's a minimum 30 minute wait to do anything you paid for. Or extra money to do the things you already paid to do. The customer service is terrible and there are not many visible posted signs saying you have to put your name down to do anything causing you to wait in a line only to find out you have to wait in the same line again. We left cause all we wanted to do was have fun not wait around all night in lines

Our server Michelle was very kind, made our experience fun. We will definitely come back. Anyone looking for a family of fun i recommend ?Main Event? and request for Michelle. ??

Not fun. Paid to much for little reward. 3 drinks total on the ticket paid $30 bucks. Sliders never arrived. Everyone appeared to be on their phones or watching basketball which isn't a big deal unless you're claiming job experience on a future resume.

Been here multiple times to come eat food and hang out with friends and play pool I have never gotten charged to play pool and today I was told that they wanted to charge me to play pool and I was only paying for 30 min. Me and my friends like coming during the weekend to hang out and have a good time. We normally come twice a week to play pool and hang out buying food and drinks I don't think I would be coming back here no more since we would have to pay for every 30min we play.

Had fun but staff was really rude. My event cordanitor was nice and helpful in the beginning once I signed my bill I never saw him again. All other staff was rude for nothing the entire night. Last time spending that much money there

Came here with my family, atmosphere was great and we had a fun experience bowling. Ash was our server and she did an amazing job! Definitely will be back.

We paid for 4 day passes even tho we were there after 8 pm. Kids stood in line for 10 mins to get on the ropes, were then told they had to go sign up in a different area. Waited another 10 mins to sign up and then told they were all booked up until they closed it down. Point...our kids did not get on the ropes. Told a manager and received $100 credit on a game card. Now the games...80% of the games we tried were broken. 3D glasses busted or not even there, virtual goggles would just say keep head straight

Edited: got kicked out for something no one would know it's possible unless they put signs and not just a poorly blocked area with a way to get through because they left their property out, they disrespected my religion, and never gave me a warning and in the policy it does say they need to give a warning, I would like to know the manager on duties name, because that is not cool to kick someone out for her mistake of not putting a sign and not giving a clear warning, just straight up kicked me out for the n

This Main Event was very disappointing. My boyfriend and I went for a mid-day date because we thought it would be a good time to go so that it's not busy and we could kinda have the place to ourselves. Unfortunately, there were about 4 machines alone that we *tried* using that were broken. They took the cards, but we didn't notice they were broken because 1. There was no 'broken' sign on them and 2. You don't notice they're malfunctioning until you actually use them. The coin machines are a scam and both co

Didnt get a chance to eat there but had a drink. The bartender was great. The place is too damn loud....need a quieter place to have a drink and more comfortable seating. But we had a lot of fun play laser tag.

Star was very attentive, friendly and welcoming, she offered great food and drinks recommendations. I will always ask for her service everytime I go to Main Event! Great server. I will definitely be returning just for her service alone.

Nice place but really expensive. Went during the week and still had to wait about 30 minutes for a bowling lane. Had to finally go order food ourselves because no one came up to us then they said they would send someone over.

First, the good: kids seem to have some fun, even if there are issues, and when things are working, it's very fun! We have only been here a couple times in the last couple of years but both times there's been a huge problem with broken machines and lack of staff to fix arcade machines and run the gravity ropes. All you can play passes are $23, but the price doesn't change even if the gravity ropes are closed. That price also does not include any arcade games AND you are required to pay $5 for bowling shoes

Probably the worst arcade experience I've ever had. Multiple basketball games (3 different types) didn't dispense balls but still deducted points from our cards. The air hockey table took points but no puck ever appeared. The Star Wars game joysticks were broken, completely unplayable. The racing game's steering wheel was broken and loose, and the chair didn't move forward, so my girlfriend couldn't even properly play. Staff was sitting around chatting instead of addressing the broken games or helping cust

We were there for two hours waiting to do the ropes course and they kept pushing the time back by 30 minutes while the staff was hanging out. The laser tag worked for 30 seconds. The dude didn't know how to help and then still ended it even though the boys played for 30 seconds. 25% of the games were broke and would just take points. The staff seemed annoyed when we asked for help. Never going back

Place is rundown and not sure if there is always a shift change when I go but normally takes 2 or 3 tries to get help with bowling or just basic info. Staff always seems confused. Bowling is fun and they have something for little ones to roll the ball.

The server was great. We ordered sliders and fries, and it was just ok. Many of the machines are broken. Some laser tag guns didn't work, but there wasn't anyone around to tell.

Me and my kids are playing at the arcade area where there were two alcoholic beverage Glasses on one of the arcade games the kids accidentally bumped into it and glass fell and cut my ankles when I went and told the manager and show them my cuts. They acted like it was an old cut. They had two people standing next to him like if I was lying about my situation worst experience ever, especially when they gave us our pizza at the wrong table and kids were sticking their fingers in the pizza, and they wanted to

Way too over priced for what is offered. Majority of the arcade machines are broken. The only good thing offered is the bowling and billiards area. You can tell it's not well maintained. I definitely regretted buying my ?all you can play? pass as soon as I purchased it. I would only recommend this place if you are looking to bowl or play pool.

They kicked a friend of mine out for saying "Jesus loves you" they left a keyboard out, and she explained to me that she thought it was ok since it was just left there, she didn't know, and she told me the area was blocked off but there was no sign. I don't understand why that is a reason to kick someone out since the staff clearly couldn't have a sign, and they left the property out, this is a silly reason for your companies mistakes, I hope my friend feels better, and I hope you guys learn to do your job

The place was busy for a Friday night, which is to be expected, we only went to play games. The line was long to get a game card. Half of the games were not working, but would still take your credit. We didn't eat there. Would I go back probably not.

I do not understand when we as a people accept this buisness to charge over $55 per person to bowl for one hour. Four of us went there to celebrate my daughter?s birthday. $49 to bowl 1 hour , $5 to rent shoes plus tax. One hour , 4 people equals $220. I don't know why we as a group pay these outrageous prices. How many under paid families have to tell their kids we can not afford to visit these places. Taking in a movie. Go hit a golf ball at that other overpriced establishment. Don't get me started on res

This place should be a must visit for parents with children, but over half of the games are either broken or only partially working. No one employed seems to give 2 shits if the customers are happy or not. Not sure how this happens in the few years it's been here but definitely could use some TLC and maybe a staff spruce up.

3 out of the first games we tried to play took our credits but the game/machine was broken. Ski-ball, air hockey, clown knock down, and one of the crane machines. Couldn't find a single employee in the arcade area. Asked for help in the prize area, was sent to the front desk with a looong line. Heads up, weekends might be difficult to get help if you have any issues. Ice Cream/snack room was visibly dirty. Plates and trash were left uncleaned during the 90 mins we were there. Maybe they were short staffe

It's a great place for Bowling and Laser Tag! Bit on the pricey side for Bolwing, though. It does get pretty busy, so plan accordingly if noise is a sensory issue for you. The arcade games have a different range from typical gambling games to VR experiences. Do note that if you purchase the unlimited 3-hour game play, you do not earn tickets, and you are limited in which games you can play. VR experiences notably must be purchased separately with credits. The food they offer is decent. And the service was

Me and my family went out to celebrate mother's day early, overall the atmosphere was great same with the food, but we did wait almost 40 minutes after asking a few times before someone came to take our order, and waited about the same for them to bring the check just for us to have to go up to a bartender to pay our bill

We recently celebrated my son?s birthday at Main Event Albuquerque, and although we faced an unexpected issue with our bowling lane not working, I have to say ? the way the staff handled it truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment the problem occurred, Amy, one of the managers, stepped in with empathy and action. She made sure my son and his friends were taken care of, giving them extra play points on their cards to make up for the inconvenience. Her thoughtful response turned what could have been a

We have been to other Main Events and was disappointed with the limited activities available at this particular place. The wait times on two of the activities I feel were a bit long. Other than video games we just didn't receive the enjoyment for the money paid

Bowling for one hour and every 10 minutes we called maintenance to fix issues with balls and pins. They move us to a different lane!!! Need more bartenders with smiles on the face. Not a great service at the bar area!! Good food though!

Michelle was my server, she was very attentive & made sure our dining experience was great. The food was perfect & my kids had a lot of fun bowling.

My only complaint is that every single table in the bar area says to wait to be seated but I was ignored by every employee. I went and sat at a table and finally got some service. Great food.

Staff at the entrance counter were horrible. They were very unfriendly, standing around talking while extremely busy and had only one line open. They short changed us on two separate gift card transactions, with one being almost $50. We eventually had to take it up with a manager. The resolution was to give us game cards because there was "nothing he could do" to give us $ back. Overall, just a bad first experience that set the tone for the rest of our night. We didn't eat, or bowl so I can't speak on that,

I just got out of Main Event amd had a great time. Also wanted to give a shout out to 2 workers there. They were very helpful and seemed like they love to be there. Shout out to Anaise and Adrian helping with the game fixes and friendly service. 5 stars just for them alone.

We had a good time with the family playing games and bowling. We sat down to eat by the pool tables so we could eat and play. Brittany was quick to accommodate us once we sat, she fulfilled her service with us and was super sweet, she even made us laugh. Great service, will come back again.

So much fun! Went on a date here with 2 other couples. Bowling and laser tag was so much fun. Didnt eat here because I think the food is too expensive.

Usually love coming to this place but man tonight was a HUGE disappointment. Brought the family out for dinner and games, what a let down. Let's start with the food. The server greeted us took drink orders and our appetizer order. We didn't see him again until he brought the appetizer. Mind you, it is not busy, he had one other table. Our food comes out and the Mac and cheese literally tasted like sour cheese/sour milk. Thankfully he did remove that from our ticket. Later without even asking if we would lik

Came in on Friday night; it wasn't busy. We were a group of 6, and we did bowling first, hoping to enjoy some snacks as we played. We were bowling for 1 hour waiting for a server to come, they didn't. I went to the bar to try and get a drink and was turned away by a female server as she said someone would be there to help me. We waited another 15 minutes, and someone else from our party went to the bar to try and order food. They tried to turn him away as well, but he insisted on ordering there. Once our fo

We came for our son's 12th birthday. We all had an amazing time. Our waiter Oswaldo was the best. He definitely made our time here great. Always checking on us and would deliver our drinks very quickly.

I loved the Bartender here, I think here name was Trinity, but she was so sweet and so was her Manger, Kat... But they were both so nice and worked great together. Loved the drinks aswell !!!

We were excited to spend our son's birthday here. We were disappointed. The highlight was our waitress Abby. She was kind, funny, and working as hard as she could. She seemed to be the only waitress for the bar and food side. The young woman behind the service counter was also outstanding. She was informative and helped us navigate the way things worked. The good stopped there. The food was cold, my wife sandwich was overcooked, and the fried cheese was fried in the same oil as the fried pickles, so they

The kid who took our order was working alone and appeared overwhelmed and not trained enough. It took 45 minutes to get our food, and that's only because I asked for it, come to find out it was just sitting on the "counter." There is not enough seating because everything is RESERVED. The food was cold. Witnessed another server making a drink on the pizza side where we ordered. He was eating the condiments.... the toppings with his fingers, actually kinda gross. As if he was at-home making his drink.

Food was good. It's a high-stimulus place (lights, noises, people) so keep that in mind if you're easily overstimulated.

Spent over $400 bucks on the grand kids and they only got to complete two of the "unlimited access" activities in the 3.5 hours we were there. We were told the waiting list for bowling was 2 hours. However, we did not receive text that our lane was available until 30 minutes after we left. They also refused to add the kids to waiting lists until adults were involved. Do not waste your money and go to urban air.

Inconsistent Charges & Poor Customer Experience I've been a regular at Main Event, coming in week after week with friends, spending money on food and drinks, and enjoying billiards. However, their pricing for billiards is completely inconsistent. One week, we're charged $40, the next it's $0, then suddenly $21.90. Most recently, on 2/11/2025, Elijah didn't charge us at all, but when we came back on 2/12/2025, Zach (the manager) tried to charge us $21.90. When we questioned the inconsistency, even he admit

This place is pretty wild! I can imagine it would have been a blast to visit as a kid. Main Event is the perfect place to have a birthday party as a kid. There was so much to do for a young person. From the laser tag area to the walking area above everyone, this place looked very fun. We played the air hockey game and several of the two-player arcade games, and we had a blast! I highly recommend this place for young people, but it's very loud and expensive.

75% of the arcade games did not work correctly. Buttons were missing, guns didn't reload or shoot, balls never came out for basketball, etc? The majority of our money was just wasted. We got a refund for our first 3 games we tried that didn't work, but I wasn't going to stand in line every time it happened since the bulk of the games didn't work. When we talked to the worker about it, he was obviously tired of hearing the complaints and said that they are telling maintenance all the time that things don't w

Had Great experience! services was great So much fun for the kids. Jay the manager was extremely nice to the kids and check up on us frequently which made it better. Highly recommend going with the family!

I'm a long time customer of Main Event and Dave and Busters and this location is beyond disappointing. We entered to signs saying the front desk had to assign seats in the eating area only to find out it was seat yourself. There were many tables, but none were clean. So we sat at the bar my 10yo daughter and I and ordered donut holes. We were presented the check immediately which is odd for a restaurant but OK. Paid that and waited 35 minutes for them and we gave up. I'd purchased two $53 game cards so we w

So I'm here right now, when you walk in you feel excited at everything going on. But then you get to the ticke pass desk and everything seems fair so you pay but then you realize real quick that you just wasted your money and your time. Everything you want to do has an over an hour waiting list. So if you want to have a good time plan on spending at least 8hrs. It's ridiculous how they can keep accepting people when one event is three hours long... I'm sitting here pissed hungry and bored outta my mind. I d

4 stars only because we didn't try the food*** Main Event is not just for kids under 18. I'm in my 50s and know that Adults can have fun too. And, oh my, ladies and gentlemen, did we have fun! Bowling, Laser Tag and gravity ropes, plus 2 rounds of adult beverages was what we needed. So much fun that kids were trying to team up with me during Laser Tag (yes, my team scored some pretty high points - girl power!). Please try the gravity ropes if you're able. Didn't see another adult up there except for

Walking in my family and I were pretty excited, we thought, this is what D&B's should be. Coming from Anchorage AK, the D&b there is pretty amazing, so we thought the one here would be equally so, wa wa wa.... Anyway, the atmosphere was great, the food was pretty good and the service was ok. This place is set up well, plenty of pool tables, a bar, games to the left, check in is easy to find and the bowling alley is in the back. Super simple and well laid out. We ordered some appetizers because, frankly, it

Got in to get a card, no one explained anything. Within 5 minutes, found 3 different machines that broke after swiping the card. I had to wait like 5 minutes for one person to even walk by and ask if I needed help on an obvious error screen. There were dozens of teenagers running around, cussing, pretending to fight, flipping me off for simple watching them walk around. The employees were useless, wandering around or ignoring the customers. I am beyond upset that I wasted 60 bucks to get a card thinking

Great experience other than having to wait for staff. Seemed to be understaffed at the time. But I've been here a few times and enjoy it every time.

Trinity was a great bartender, my wife want to come back because of how nice she was. Also the drinks were good.

Spent literally 10 hours here for a really good reasonable price. Staff was courteous and informative. Can get extremely busy at any moment. Plus the fact that you can leave and return with no reentrance fee was awesome. Middle of the week was a great time to show up if you want to get the best experience. Weekends could pose tedious.

Decided to have a family day with our girls, (i call them girls but they're over 21) Both live up north, so it was a special occasion. I was amazed at the numerous activities. We all decided on bowling. It was our first times bowling. So we had the side rails up to prevent gutter balls. After our first hour, the staff had giving us a free hour. We had a lot of fun, we're definitely coming back to try the gravity ropes.

Great place to take the family. Ask about there specials, as you might save a few bucks. The bars is a little pricey. The food and service is really good. We bought a pizza and a few beers. The staff is really friendly and will help you find the best deal,Just ask.

I was planning on taking a girl out to this place but like I always do, I checked the reviews and in the past week alone it's been a lot of 1 stars! Thank you guys for saving me as we will be going else where! As for the owner DO BETTER!

Me and my wife had a great time here. The service was amazing. Trinity was a wonderful bartender and Kat was great help being in management.

We had a party here. The service was horrible they gave us one server who was very young and couldnt keep up. We basically felt forced out of our area because of poor planning on thier end, they started our event late and didnt allot for extra time on the end. The food was cold and unappitizing even the addiontal food was cold and not good. The only good thing was the fried pickles. I lost my phone and asked the desk if it had been turned in over 3xs. My fiance called it and it was behind the desk after the

Not many games one they had were all broken. Place used to be so nice went down hill

Went here on 1/25/25. Sat in their general seating area to watch the lakers game and got fried picked and a dr pepper; both were good. Ricky was my server and he was killing it. Super responsive, but also saw that I was just there to watch the game and kept a respectful distance. Any time my drink ran out, he was there withinh a minute to refill it. He said that he had worked 2 private events earlier that evening and the place was packed. He still made me as a customer feel satisfied and seen. Managment:

Such a great time with my friends from work, had a real blast and Amy D was such a great help when making sure we were doing alright and getting our food to us while bowling

I had so much fun with my husband. I would give this place a 5 star review, however a worker named Andres ruined the experience. He was so rude, he accused us of stealing, we proved him that we weren't stealing kids toys (yeah it's silly) since we did earn a plushie from a grabber machine and that was beeping. No apologies from him after this. Andres was never nice. We also wanted to redeem the points that we earned, we grabbed enough items to don't be short on points. Andres insisted that Nerd candies wer

This is a shout out to the manager moni who was very awesome, she took care of us personally, we had no issues and the food was good.

Bowling was fun, food was good! customer service was even better. I enjoyed the time I spent here and I will definitely return!!

Don't go here.Me and my 2 sons went here and had to spend 60 dollars just to do laser tag and the gravity ropes because if you just by the laser tag or gravity ropes you can only do it once. The gravity wasn't even open. Then when we went to do laser tag I had to wait 10 minutes just to get to the front of the line and be rejected because apparently you have to make a reservation just to do laser tag.It was also very crowded so don't go here on the weekends or just don't go at all. But they did give me a refu

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Are retro games in arcades still good in this modern age?

Absolutely, retro games in arcades remain a thrilling draw in 2025! Classics like Pac-Man, Space Invaders, and Street Fighter II offer simple yet addictive gameplay, blending nostalgia with timeless challenge. Modern arcade cabinets often feature crisp displays and restored controls, enhancing the experience. These games thrive on quick reflexes and strategy, with vibrant pixel art and iconic soundtracks that spark joy. Arcades host tournaments and leaderboards, fostering a lively community. While modern games dominate, retro titles provide a unique, accessible thrill that keeps arcades buzzing.

Are pool tables in arcades still good in this modern age?

Yes, pool tables in arcades remain a fantastic draw in 2025! Games like 8-ball or 9-ball offer tactile, skill-based fun that blends strategy and precision. Modern tables feature smooth felt, responsive cues, and vibrant designs, enhancing the classic experience. Arcades foster a social vibe with casual matches or competitive tournaments, appealing to all skill levels. Unlike digital games, pool’s physicality—lining up shots, feeling the cue’s weight—keeps it timeless.

Are virtual reality games in arcades worth playing?

Yes, virtual reality (VR) games in arcades are a top attraction in 2025! Titles like Beat Saber and Half-Life: Alyx deliver immersive thrills with cutting-edge headsets, motion tracking, and responsive controllers. High-resolution displays and spatial audio create heart-pounding experiences, from slashing rhythms to battling zombies. Arcades feature multiplayer VR zones and tournaments, fostering lively communities. VR booths are regularly packed, proving their captivating, next-level gameplay makes them a must-try arcade experience.
