Customer Reviews

This is the ultimate exercise video game. Purchased as part of the Wolf Pass, MagiQuest is easy enough for little kids and still fun enough for adults to join. Wear walking shoes! This game can keep the family busy for hours and easily rack up steps! Enjoy!

I was hesitant to pay for my kids to do this experience because I had already spent a lot of money, and I felt they would be bored with it quickly. I was very pleasantly surprised. My kids did it for hours and had an amazing time. They finished all twelve quests in one day, and the people working in the store were very helpful, patient, and informative. It was great exercise and much more challenging and interactive than I expected. I would highly recommend it!

This place was awesome great wolf lodge is si fun and magi quest is nothing to hesitate about just get it. My kids spent 8 hours doing this and had so much fun. Also saved me tons of time having to figure out what to do. Also go to the arcade so much fun.

MagiQuest was included with our wolf pass so we all got in on the action, surprisingly addictive lol, it kept us busy and made you want more, we wanted to complete the task just so we could see what was next. The basic wand is included with the pass, or you can upgrade. They have portals all around the main level of the hotel, be sure to look all around including the ceilings and treasure chest. With the provided map you walk back and forth to complete the task, when doing the task's just find the correct

Was taken with my cousins and was disappointed to remember this location houses chronicles, the easy version of magiquest. I only bought a topper instead of a wand registration, and helped my cousin out, and holy smokes this version is SO bad. Go use your money on legacy instead.

It's basically a fetch quest, but at least you'll be getting a lot of exercise trying to find everything. It's fun to do with the kids.

Amazing detailed story. Took around five hours to complete (between two days) but was fun!

A must when going to Great Wolf Lodge. My daughter and her friends were completely entertained with this activity for our entire stay.

Oh man, what a way to get those steps in. Kiddo loved it and we did too! He learned how to navigate a map and remember item locations!

My 3 (almost 4) year old had a blast!! And it served its purpose and tuckered him (and us) out!

Absolutely worth the extra charge at GWL. The kids love it

The kids loved this thing and thought it was the best thing ever. It was expensive with half their quest points broken.

This experience for our four children was amazing. They were captivated and enthralled from start to finish.

Kiddo loved it, guy at front counter really sold the act and was amazing.

I like that it's all on one floor, but is it difficult to figure out what to do and where to go. It's not set up well

It was a little underwhelming, still a cool idea. Looked more magical on advertisements.

Kids enjoyed it. No to bad of a price.

My 5 yr old loves this. Keep him busy and walking around.

My kids had a blast plying this game.

Frequently Asked Questions

What’s it like visiting an arcade today?

It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.

Is it better to go alone or with friends?

Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.

What should I bring to an arcade?

Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.

What’s the best time to visit an arcade?

Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.

Can I meet new people at arcades?

Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.

Are arcades still just for kids?

Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.

Are there events or tournaments I can join?

Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.

What if I’m not great at arcade games?

No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”

Why are arcade prize games so exciting to play?

Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
