Honestly, I'm quite disappointed in this place. It was expensive for being out of season ( no go karts, batting cages, or mini put put). 9$ per kid to ride the bumber cars for 1 time. The most disappointing thing is the arcade. Half of the machines dont work, and if they do, they eat your tokens or dont give you tickets. I think my kids had in total 300 tickets, and we had 200 tokens( I was playing to help get tickets). It was just sad, not worth the money, my kids' disappointment, or the drive. There are f
Used to go to the Polaris location as a kid, but that closed back in 2020 in hopes of becoming a Carvana. Not it's just a hole. Anyway? This place needs a lot of TLC. It's prime I'm sure it was great. The place is dusty, and almost half of the arcade machines were not working, or having issues. The go karts need work too. Especially #5. I got rear ended really hard by it while waiting to renter the pit. I got minor whiplash. I drove the kart earlier in the day and the breaks were not working well. Almost no
We honestly had the most amazing experience for my daughters birthday party yesterday! Our birthday planner checked in with me every step and even helped with items I forgot! My daughter said it was the best birthday ever we had complete access to the kids area and all of the kids won lots of tokens! The staff was super friendly and helped when the machines didn't dispense tickets or tokens got eaten. We will always happily come back to magic mountain?? thank you for my little girl's day so special!
Completely different than when I was a kid. A lot fewer games inside. The go-karts are in dire need of maintenance. One of them could barely go 5-7mph. Poor woman could've went faster on a Rascal or grocery store scooter. She didnt look happy getting lapped by everyone else multiple times. Only the ticket ring claw machine was worth playing. The candy claw machine couldn't grab anything because there wasn't enough candy and the claw wouldn't close enough to even grab the candy bars. The gantry on the claw m
We had an amazing experience at Magic Mountain in Columbus! A huge shoutout to Laniah and Raelee for making our visit so enjoyable. Our 2- and 5-year-old had an absolute blast! The jungle gym is the biggest we've ever seen?our kids could?ve played in there all day. We also had delicious pizza and enjoyed a fun round of mini golf. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and kid-friendly. It was a perfect family outing. We'll definitely be back!
Great place for kids and teens, I was disappointed about the go carts not open on Friday day, my grandson turned 18, we came from out of town. Some. Machines were broken and not marked, we lost our coins. My 6 year old grand daughter had a blast! I Thank the Navy veteran for the extra tickets and she did too! The food is a bit pricey, and the pizza crust was tough, other than that the service was fair, but thy could use more workers. The cashier handled herself well, especially with the complaints.
Had a good time. Some of the games were broken & not usable. The prizes for game tickets are cheap & outdated & way too expensive.
I haven't been anywhere like this in a very long time. This particular location is okay. Some games are broken and old and not well maintained. I shouldn't be too surprised not sure what type of traffic they're getting these days. On the flip side, for $20 bucks you get a lot of tokens. And for kids small enough not to care about the random machines games that don't work, that's a lot of play time.
Went to Magic Mountain Sunday afternoon. As an adult this place is old and ran down. To my 5 and 8 year old this place is Awesome. Real coins and tickets for the games. The play zone they would stay in all day. We did putt putt, with water hazards. We just had 2 day record rain but the let us play. The staff Asia, Raelee, Tayshon and Shayona was super friendly to the kids.
I have a 2yr old that loves to climb and explore and a 4 yr old who loves games and activities. They had lots of fun but it was disappointing that a lot of the the games were not counting the coins. I probably lost 12 coins. I got 4 of them back but I felt like I had to explain myself too much just to get those four back. Maybe it was just one of the kiddos I talked to behind the corner because another friend of mine said that they reimburse them extra. Could also use a little bit more kid, friendly games.
Came here for a birthday party and I haven't been here in so long! But You guys need to be serious. This place need to be upgraded and cleaned. It's honestly so dirty and outdated that it makes me wonder why I loved this place as a child. I couldn't even allow my 1 year to play in the play pin because of how nasty it was. Yes, kids play and make a mess but the actual play area was disgusting. Other than that this place will be a great place.
Decent place. It's kind of run down for what it is. Its 8$ for 2 hrs of the jungle gym thing which is kinda dumb, but luckily they dont bother timing it. Kids wanna play in there then play games and go back in. Just get rid of the time seriously. This is an old school arcade that still has tickets which is kinda fun for the kids. The prizes are pretty terrible however. We paid 40$ for 300 tokens and most the games were 4 coins each, some being 2 and some 8. Making it about 50 cents a play for the 4 token o
Rating this place 5* strictly on the mini golf course... This mini golf course was so pretty with so many photographic views. The course is challenging and well varied. Was not too pleased with the go karts. Some of the go karts have absolutely no business being in operation.
Mike from Magic Mountain is the best guy in the world. He lost his phone while fixing their fountain but found it. There was a mix up with our wrist bands that we never initially received but all was mended. Had a great time
This place is great. Its a little dated but that's fine its still one of the best. The old play areas in my opinion are just better. its only 7$ to play at the play area. They have different things also like games , bumper cars, and golf. Pretty cool ?? ??
Kiddo seems to really enjoy climbing through all the equipment here. It wasn't too crowded when we went. We bought some tokens and the first 2 arcade games we tried took our coins. Lol. Also a lot of the games didn't output tickets like they should have. Probably just need refilled..not a huge deal. However if we came just for the arcade (which we didn't) we would have been a little disappointed. But my son who just turned 4 really loved the indoor playground equipment.
This place is fun. Batting cages, go carts, mini golf, small kid play area, and small game room. They've stepped security up because it is slightly hood. Otherwise, fun with the kids.
Brought the kids for a fun weekend activity. They had a great time playing putt putt and video games (which I would say is the highlight); there's lots of things to choose from and great value. The facilities have clearly worn down over the years with little to no upkeep to the exterior or putting course, but for the money spent it can be overlooked. If you're looking for an easy weekend activity for your kid(s) go for it, if you're looking to make memories or leave any kind of impression: maybe look into
Horrible! Had our son?s 2nd bday party here it was so dirty and nasty! There were water leaks in the ceiling and water all over the floor! He fell and almost busted his face open we told the manager when first getting there that the whole floor was soaked he never came and cleaned it and our son ended up falling this place is disgusting and a health hazard it should be shut down! They then refused to refund our money due to us already filling paying a month ahead of time this was by far the worse experience
The facility is very well maintained and clean. We have been there 3 times so far in the past couple of years. We have found its easier to go during the week as its not as busy, instead of Friday - Saturday. Our kids are older and we still had a lot of fun.
Review is for the miniature golf course only. Will not be going back. Both of the available courses are very poorly maintained. Most of the waterfalls are clogged with leaves resulting in several of the holes flooding. Lost one golf ball because it got stuck in a broken plastic pipe in one of the obstacles. Most of the wooden steps and wooden obstacles on the putting greens are rotted and at least one wooden railing was dangerously loose.
One of the most missed places in my memory. I loved magic Mountain as a younger kid?? timeless memories and unforgettable fun! Would love to come see it again one day!
Very dirty, bathrooms really bad the kids had fun for the price. It is very run down. The putt putt is very uneven and there are railroad ties sticking out in places. It is fun for a weekend thing but we came In out of town I was disappointed. Also in the parking lot is a motel with boarded up windows holding air conditioners. The cops on duty did a awesome job two groups of people got in a fight Inside the arcade and he controlled it and no one got hurt.
We went while visiting the area on a rainy day. The kids had so much fun! Cute, cheap and a great way to burn an hour or two without costing you a fortune!
I was in the ballpit and stuff got in me and my cousins eyes and could not get it out and it irritated our eyes and my cousin was crying so hard because of it being in our eye so please clean the ballpit cause it hurts getting that into your eye! And it leaves stuff on your clothes and the lights are dirty and how are we supposed to get that many tickets like make it lower please!!
Laniah Palmer was amazing! She was so helpful and helped when some of the machines weren't working properly! She was so kind and gentle with my children! Amazing employee!
This place is the best all in one bday spot. The staff is excellent, Brooklyn helped get us all set up for a perfect day, she's was awesome!!!
Not fun!! Filthy dirty mini golf greens. Huge black ant problem. There were so many ants they were crawling on us. Not the best experience. We will look elsewhere.
It was a great experience to renjoy for an 18th birthday. Fun for all ages. Was just a little dilapidated for my taste but that's not it's fault.
I've been taking my grandson to this location for the past month and each time Raelee and Robyn have been so amazing. He has the best time when we go and the pizza is good!!!
We had a birthday party for my grandson 2 yr old party booked at 3 pm we arrived nothing was done no decorations no set up nothing we seen the ?Host ? For 5 minutes then gone ai had to host the party include pre clean tables high chairs and after ! The place was filthy and a complete hazard the toddler party was upstairs with no blocking of a very steep stair well ( fall hazard ) there was water leaks and puddles of water everywhere black mold in the areas of the party section ! My grandson 2 fell and almos
Great staff and and wonderful attractions! Raelee was so friendly and everyone was happy to help. Best value in town
Had a last with my wife on the go carts and played a game of golf! Ate some pizza and nachos!! Had an awesome time.. thanks Magic Mountain
They were power washing and it looked pretty good, been 25 yrs since I had been there and just as fun
Fun place perfect for a quick trip for kids fun! Very affordable and just what we needed to fill some free time in the late afternoon. Very clean and friendly staff!
Great service! Pizza was delicious! I should come here more often! Thank you Josiah he was amazing!!!!
My girlfriend had great time at Magic Mountain! The pizza was great and the mini golf course is very unique!
We are visiting in the area for business but we also have our son with us so we decided to stop by here so he could have a little fun and not be stuck inside. The place looks dated but overall was clean. We personally didn't have any issues with customer service. They even upped my son's ticket count so he could get the basketball he wanted. That absolutely made his day! We got in with a Groupon deal and overall, pricing was fine. Do note though that we didn't spend any money on food or extras except for o
Absolutely gross in there the ball pits had bed bugs they don't even run the water anymore it's a sad attempt the sad part is that they let all those teenagers ruin it the workers teenagers who wants to send your baby in a ball pit in bed bugs you can see roaches in the bathroom they tell you not to bring outside food and because of that issue because their kitchen is so damn dirty and not to mention the price of everything dude it is not worth going there you're better off going to Dave & Buster's or anyw
1 most of the games were broke , 2 the ticket reader machine doesnt work we had over 3500 tickets they weighed them and it came out to total of 650 WHICH I WAS VERY UPSET ABOUT , 3 they gave us a newly package birthday pin for the girl and as we were leaving the young lady approached us to remove it saying they use them for other guest I DIDNT LIKE THAT , 4 the pizza was cardboard and tasted funny , lastly most of the attractions was closed so the bigger kids really didnt have much to do
I went for a birthday and was able to have a bunch of fun and activities for relatively cheap. The ambience feels very festive and good
Definitely better to go in the summer as all the stuff is closed in the winter outside. The bumper cars are a bit steep in price but overall a fun place for kids and the funplayarea is decent priced.
I have been coming to this magic mountain for a long time. 2012-2017. We play mini golf on the adventure 18 holes. They are 3 out if 5 stars. Upkeep is not good, but still fun. Go carts are dated as well. Video games disappointing selection and half of the ticket games broken. Come on magic mountain get your $@&? together. Go to Polaris location unless you want to play mini golf.
Mini golf is overpriced for the experience. It looks like the holes have not been cleaned or maintained for YEARS. Mud or moss on each hole, unsafe stairs, tears in the turf material. All while charging the same amount or more as in years past. Save your money and go somewhere better maintained.
Played putt putt, go carts, and games. Lots of fun for my kids and myself. Most the staff didn't seem to happy to be working there and food took way to long to be made. Found a little crayfish on the golf course that made us laugh. Overall good time.
Laniah was very polite and easy to work with she let me know about all the deals and opportunities that magic mountain had for us I will be returning
LANIAH was very respectful and helpful with helping us making a good decision with the promotional deals they have very very nice young lady
A lot of games took our tokens but didn't work to the point that i just stopped asking for refunds.
Josiah was great, he noticed us and was very quick to help! He was very kind and caring!
Filthy all around, run down, little to no maintenance. New games and plenty of things to do for kids.
I purchased two tickets on Groupon for what I believe to be a fair price. Unfortunately this price gave me what I paid for. The mini golf course needed a lot of maintenance and cleaning. Between turf that was coming up, balls getting stuck in connecting pipes, and the course littered with rocks and leaves it ruined the overall experience of the mini golf. With the Groupon deal, I was given 40 tokens to play arcade games. Unfortunately some of the machines were not functioning properly but staff kindly refu
Admittedly, it's been a while since I've come in here, but I've finally gotten around to writing the review. First off, I'm not sure I've ever been to a place where the staff were so accommodating and cordial. The wife and I went in and bought ten dollars worth of tokens for the arcade, and they literally doubled the amount out of generosity, which is one of the reasons I waited so long to write the review (didn't want anyone to get in trouble). Their mini golf was average, yet fun. Overall, it was a fant
It's nice to be able to take kids to play. But things and times have definitely changed. It used to be that at the door adults were given a wrist band or a hand stamp to match the kid so who came with who was checked going back out. None of that is checked like that anymore. So it's definitely up to the parents to watch the kids I don't have a problem with that but some parents come there and set and kids run freely there, to me and my mind in today's world it's unsafe for kids to run freely with out an adu
The pizza was delicious, the putt putt was very fun, and our server Josiah was very friendly!!
Luke was very helpful and my family (5 kids ages 5-14) had a blast doing mini golf and 300 tokens at the arcade. We will definitely be back to experience more but the staff was very helpful and went out of the their way multiple times to help my kids out with a problem and overall kindness was 5 stars. Will definitely repeat our visit very soon! Thank you Luke and staff for a great experience!
Lots of fun things to do!! We had a birthday party for 12 yr old. Pizza drinks, game tokens. Also got wristbands to ride gocarts and bumper cars (dave n buster's don't have gocarts and bumper cars.) $210 for 8 people. Our "party assistant" was a beautiful young lady named Asia. She did a great job taking care of our needs. Rating would be 5 stars, but the facility is dated; could use a refresh.
Got my grandson up here . The place is dingy! Dirty on the inside and outside. I haven't been here in years and it didn't look like this. This is sad.
Enjoyed family time the girl at the snack counter with braids was so sweet and helpful!
A lot of machines would not work. You would put in the coins and wouldn't start. Some wouldn't work properly and some didn't have the balls to even play. They could have at least labeled the machines with a paper so people wouldn't try to use them.
LANIAH VERY POLITE AND HELPFUL WITH OUR DECISION MAKING RESPECTFUL YOUNG LADY VERY PATIENT AND OFFERED US THE PROMOTIONAL DEALS GOOD SALES PITCH EYE CONTACT WHEN SPEAKING WITH US !!!!
Great prices not too crowded and good service ! Laniyah and Shiloh were awesome !
Great time with me and my sons... Every attraction was great
Played mini-golf here. Some holes are just duplicates of previous one and others were broken/ruined by time. The grounds were in subpar shape, but it did storm the night before so I guess I will give them the benefit of the doubt. I did have fun playing here though and they have some interesting holes.
Actually not too bad. I went here for my birthday with my brother and dad, got a LOT of tickets, and overall had a blast. I have a few complaints, which is that some of the games would eat tokens, but that was only a couple of them. Most machines worked and we didn't have any problems. It was a bit dirty, but it makes sense, as there were a ton of kids around. Also, there was no atm, so we were lucky they took card at the front desk to get some tokens, which made us have to wait in line for about 10 minutes
This place is so fun my 7 kids had lots of fun especially the go karts!
I have been coming to this magic mountain since I was a kid and now that I have babies I get to enjoy the fun with them. They also do birthday parties
Nice place for kids but a lot of their machines don't work if the owner wants to charge for birthday parties at least have all equipment in working condition other than that my son had a nice time
Nice minigolf , affordable place, water was not running when we started playing.
We had a party here and it went perfectly. I want to preface this by saying that all the girls at the counter deserve a raise. It was unbearably hot and though they were sweating, the smiles never left their faces. Above all, our party host nicole was incredible. She was very professional and sweet and made our kids day magical. From the time she brought us to our room and took our order to her checking us out she was so welcoming and patient. It takes a very special person to put smiles like I saw on my ki
Realee and Laniah were very kind and sweet hard working lady?s had a blast
70% of games were broken. The tables in eating area were disgusting and not even remotely clean. Bathrooms had no soap and toilet paper only in one stall. Extremely disappointed. The Polaris location I'd give 5 stars. This location doesn't even deserve 1. ?
Excellent Mini golf 18 hole hole very good price very nice entertainment center
Horrible. The course is covered in mulch and mud. No maintenance is done. The surface is ripped up on several holes. Waste of $8.00 per person.
Unfortunately we were very disappointed. The play area was dirty, the games were out of order or wouldn't put out tickets. The mini gold area was littered with trash, the balls were not returned.
A very nice and well kept place. The workers were all super friendly and helpful. A young lady named Caroline had such wonderful energy and was an absolute joy to be around. Definitely recommend bringing your kids, such a healthy environment. They really had things for people of all ages. 10/10
Overall, my experience was just poorly spent about $200 And it just wasn't worth it at all. People weren't standing at the stations Like they were supposed to be, and I had to find the workers so I could go and ride and get stuff. The workers went back-and-forth about who was going to help me and no one wanted to help. then after I complained, the same lady that wouldn't help me was talking about me complaining to my face about me!!! just seemed like no one wanted to do their job there at all. Overall poor
Brought some kids here over Spring Break for a fun day out. The staff was so friendly!!! The kids had so much fun, it wasn't too crowded on a weekday, food was prepared fresh (a little expensive but I knew to expect that). Some things are a little outdated but honestly the kids didn't mind or notice, and the atmosphere made up for it. From the service counter to the operators to the prize counter, everyone was so welcoming and nice and made the day extra special. Even with several kids making decisions on d
Great place to take the kids and let them run around like crazy plus makes for an easy bed time once you get home because they are wore out.
It certainly looks its age, especially inside, which has a recently abandoned vibe from the dim lighting, almost eerie silence, and overall low level grime on every surface. The road back to the building looks more like it was originally a service road, and the parking lot and surrounding areas are a pot hole and rubble filled disaster. Outside though, the mini golf courses are in decent shape given how old they are and that they're constantly exposed to the elements. There are two 18 hole courses, the firs
Very fun but haven't been in like a year??
Ghetto..I mean the the establishment. Not the people. Like no machines work. And the steal your coins and tickets I mean of you actually care about that
A fun arcade and a nice, clean environment inside the place. A friendly, attentive staff was on duty and we had a great time as a family :)
It's actually clean and well maintained considering how old this place is... but definitely not the newest or cleanest you can find in Columbus. We only come here on the weekdays bc we go into the play structure with our kids. It's not possible to do so when there are too many kids. $8 for the playground... overpriced if your kids are under 3 or over 8. They can't do much. Food and drink are overpriced as well.
It was pretty empty when we arrived last Friday at about noon, but started to gain some visitors throughout the day. Staff was helpful and quick. Putt putt was well-kept. A few of the games weren't operational, but the many that were were really fun. My son is already asking to go back, so we might end up holding his birthday party there!
This place was beyond nasty the bathroom was extremely gross and smells so bad. The gym that is for younger kids had older kids climbing all over it and was being rude and not letting the kids that should be playing on it play. Also the gym was so dirty and the foam pit was so nasty even my daughter (5yrs old) didn't like it and said they was nasty. Half the games take tokens and don't even work. If you could put negative stars I would have! We will never be back to this place !
Laniah it was great experience for my kids we had a blast
Came here with my child and had such a blast! Everyone that is complaining about the games just don't ask for assistance. Like I told an employee that a game ate my tokens and he came right over and fixed the game right then and there! It ended up being jammed with like 30+ tokens that he gave me for free. Told me if people don't let the employees know a game isn't working they can't fix it or do anything about it because it wasn't brought to their attention. Like do people not even ask the employees about
Always so much fun and the staff is helpful and calm which is perfect for our craxy family
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
Arcade prize games are a thrilling highlight in 2025! Claw machines, skee-ball, and ticket-redemption games like basketball offer a rush of skill and chance, with rewards like plushies, toys, or electronics up for grabs. Modern machines feature vibrant lights, digital scoreboards, and responsive controls, amplifying the fun. The lively arcade atmosphere, with cheering crowds and buzzing energy, makes every win feel epic.
