With an amazing selection of classic and modern machines, the nostalgic atmosphere transports you back to the golden age of arcades. A must-visit for anyone who loves authentic pinball action! ?????
This is not your average pinball arcade. It's so much better. The staff are friendly and very welcoming (Bear is the best). The collection of pinball machines is very impressive, there's so many I can't pick a favorite. Definitely check out this arcade when you're in town.
So much fun for both big and little kids alike, a great place for families or smaller groups. Filled mostly with newer and classic pinball machines, they also have a few other traditional arcade games. The place is well run, kept clean, and offers a few small snacks and soda drinks for purchase. Sep 2022
Every pinball I've played here has been in great shape, extremely well maintained!
Family fun with plenty of pinball machines to choose from. Totally worth a good hour and a pocket of quarters to try to establish a high score or two. Clean. Wide range of machines from vintage to new. Fridge full of snacks that you can buy items from via the honor system. What's not to love about this small business? Come on out and support this venue.
This is the coolest place, I would recommend it to anyone. Just lots of fun 5-105 everyone has fun. Machines range from the 1970-New. Very friendly staff was able answer every question we could come up with. Check out the enormous Hurclules game in the back. Highly recommended!
Every time we visit Colorado we are coming to this place. Love the vibe. My favourite machine is the Stranger Things :).
If you like pinball and you are within an hour of tiny Lyons Colorado the you Mia visit Classic Pinball. About 40 machines, all in mint condition. Small and quirky buildings with multiple small rooms. All the greats like KISS, Attack From Mars, Adams Family, Ghostbusters. Kudos to the owner, what a great thing.
Lot of the newer stern machines and every machine I played the field was clean and they were well maintained and played well. Their foo had the art blades and expression lights, which is a nice upgrade. I have a foo premium at home set up nearly the same and theirs plays as well or better than mine does.
One of my favorite places in Boulder County. It's well worth your time to visit this unique business. And be sure to say hi to Bear the dog--he's the best part;)
Excellent pinball arcade with many good games. Every game I played was in perfect condition and played well. -1 star because it's not the best of the best for number and variety of games (it's still very good) and -1 star for the game list on the website not being up to date. Visited for White Water and Indiana Jones and neither were there.
It's a really cool place, it's very clean and has a really nice nostalgic atmosphere.
Used to be the best place in the world. New ownership and culture has no soul. Watch out for your butt there. If you get violated, it's not the responsibility of the owners.
Dog park or pinball venue?? It's hard to tell when you get knocked over coming in the door, dog running in between your legs, bumping into you and barking while you're playing a game, it even barged into the bathroom when I was in there. A well behaved dog is one thing but hyper just ruins the atmosphere. Sure used to be a calmer place previously ????
You know those places you randomly stumble upon, and it just feels like the universe gave you a little treat? Dee(Dee?) and the Lyons Classic Pinball operations are that good! We hit a little traffic and decided to park and have lunch in Lyons, which turned into spending all our singles on pinball. So worth it! If you're passing through or staying in Lyons, definitely stop in!
I was in Denver with some friends who all love pinball, and I had never played any real life tables before (only virtual), so I was a complete and total first timer. This place made me wanna play pinball every day of my life for the rest of time! There's so many good tables, old and new, all of which are affordable. I was there for about 3 hours and only spent $20! The venue is a really wholesome house that's just been filled with pinball tables. The older lady working there is also really sweet, if you li
Great pinball. Chill staff. Well loved machines. Everything from the classics (Twilight Zone, Elvira, and quite a few earlier machines) to the newer stuff (Dialed In, WoZ, Munsters, etc.). Great selection of games, quite a few set up for discounts on multiple plays which can save a buck if you're playing multiplayer. Quarters not tokens so no credit card. Bring cash. They have rolls of quarters.
Love this place! Lots of pinball machines and a lot of the old ones are only 25 cents!
Amazing gem hidden in Lyons, CO. The person who put this collection of pinball machines together is a total boss and deserves mad props. This is a absolute must if you are in Lyons.
This place is freaking amazing!!! All different types of pinball machines from new to old! Super cheap for a decent amount of time of fun!!
Super cool place and great collection of new and old machines
This place rocks! Their great pinball collection ranges from the 1950?s to present day; there are rare machines here that would be difficult to find elsewhere. Pinball machines found here are in tip top shape and are regularly waxed! The staff is super friendly and can even show you how to navigate a particular table to obtain maximum points. It's near many wonderful dining options and is also a wonderful place to host a private party!
When you enter Classic Pinball you are immediately transformed into your second childhood as you glimpse at the never-ending rows of pinball machines. Genuine contentment of yesteryear.
Wonderful, simply wonderful. If you are a pinhead you will love this place. Focused on pinball, nothing else. This is my favorite place to play sure to it's focus. Yes, they play some music, but it doesn't drown out the games. Food is limited to a small cooler of drinks and chips. It's all pinball!
Great place. Great pinball machines in great condition.
Awesome hole in the wall with about 40 pinball machines in near perfect shape! The owner's are really good about keeping all the machines in working order. Some rare titles that you don't see elsewhere, and just a great spot to hang out. Definitely worth the drive to get there.
Love this place, they have many classics and lots of modern tables too. The folks that run the place are super friendly. Lots of fun. Definitely check it out. They also run/host a lot of tournaments which bring in people from all over. Check one out if you get the chance.
Don't claim to be ?family friendly? when the lady wearing disco bell bottoms is going to yell at my 6 year old son to not ?press the buttons that way?. After we paid $1 to play in a NEW machine. And also, the random large dog wandering around was creepy to my kids. After that, we just walked out with our cup of quarters. Would not recommend for families; rude and grungy feel? I don't need to pay money for a stranger to scare my child.
These guys have the best selection ever! The best 70s EMs, the best 90s classics, and the best new Sterns! Great family-owned vibe, literally couldn't ask for more out of a pinball venue.
Both the original owner and the younger new owner take incredible pride in keeping the games in top shape. The bungalow is clean and properly, dimly lit. Pinball games are original pricing (5 balls/quarter). They do tilt fairly easily, but not too easily. My only complaint is a wish. I wish they were open 7 days a week.
This place is awesome, definitely worth going out of your way to see, if not making a point to stop here if you ever do pass through Lyons (You probably will on your way to Rocky Mountain National Park!) . Amazing selection of rare retro vintage pinball machines, with a ton of history and people who will love explaining why they are so cool. Just remember to bring your own quarters!
If only I could give this more than 5 stars! It was incredible! So many options for pin, lots of old classic games to more modern titles. They also have a GIANT pin in the back room which is so fun to play. Come with cash because there is not an ATM in Lyons or you'll have to go to the bank across the street. Absolutely returning with some friends.
Lyons Classic Pinball is awesome! If you love pinball and happen to be in the area definitely stop by. They have mostly newer games with a handful from the 60's, 70's and 80's. They even had a few I'd never seen before. I believe all the machines were .50 to a dollar to play. A big paddle slapin' thumbs up!
There is pure magic to be found at Lyons Classic Pinball. Every pinball lover in the country should be making a trip here! Thank you Dede for making this such a special place!
Awesome place to play pinball. Nice mix of EM to modern games, always in great working order. Now under new ownership and has expanded to add even more games! Operators are friendly and willing to help you learn how to play.
Lyons Classic Pinball is loaded with a variety of pinball machines ranging from classic and old school games to recent releases. Metallica, Elvira and Funhouse are a few of our favorite games that we like to play when we visit. We also like the feel of the place. Super friendly with a one-of-a-kind atmosphere that is right around the corner from food and beverages. We go up at least a couple of times a year for birthdays or to take a nice drive and play some games. Totally reminds me of the arcades that wer
The guys who owns the place looks like Dr. JACOBI from Twin Peaks. Super chill spot. Me and my partner had a blast and felt like kids again. The environment is friendly and love the games. Don't worry, adults are allowed.
Viva la pinball! Glad this place is still kicking it in the heart of Lyons. Oskar blues adjacent and they have a few machines loan out to the bar! This pinball arcade is in a old house but has been a pinball museum for as long as I can remember. Great destination at the end of a pretty short but pleasant trip up 66. Excellent spot to have a major blast for less than a roll of quarters, go see for yourself!
This place is a blast, I've been over 5 times already. They have pinball machines from every era and at every level of play (old generally is easier where newer ones are faster and harder). They also have a fridge with drinks and snacks.
I've been going to the pinball house since I was a young boy and have always cherished the place. I've taken friends and family here! Probably one of the coolest date ideas as well. If you want to impress someone with a unique fun experience this is the place!
Great pinball shrine! The owner is a real nice guy. He taught me some things about pinball machines that I never new. Definitely worth the trip for anybody who likes to play.
Fun activity for friends, family, adults, kids, co workers, etc. We came here on a work outing and had so much fun playing all the machines! It's surprisingly bigger than you'd think. Come here before or after a beer at Oskar Blues.
Among the best places to play pinball. I only wish it were open 24 hours :P
Love this place, found it heading up to eates park, co
This place is always fun. Never super crowded. Seems like there's always at least new one game every time I go there. Great date night. A nice and funky place I'll continue going to for years to come.
Best pinball spot around. Great selection of games, well maintained. Didi is always there when I am and is super friendly and helpful in taking care of the machines.
This place is super fun! I've never seen so many pinball machines in one place - vintage, newer, you name it. Definitely worth a visit!
A wide variety of pinball games and the owner is super nice! Makes for a very fun afternoon if you have a couple hours! Bring a LOT of quarters because you're going to want to do all of them!
I had no idea pinball was so fun! This place is awesome! Funky little space filled with all the best, classic machines. Very well maintained, clean.
What a great place to hang out on a Saturday night. The placards over the rate cabinets made the experience interesting as you worked through them. Definitely try out the head-to-head Joust themed pinball cabinet!
Had a great time here playing a variety of machines! Swing by for some out of the ordinary fun if you're not into pinball and some regular fun if you're into it like I am!
Without a doubt, the best place I've ever played pinball! The best maintained games, with an amazing selection from electromechanical to the most recent releases. If you like pinball, you'll love this place!
There are few places left like Lyons Classic Pinball. I always walk in with a smile and leave with an even bigger smile. Kevin and Carol are truly great pinball enthusiast. They are full of all sorts of knowledge about the games and the history of pinball. The machines there are very well maintained and if something isn't working, just mention it to Kevin and he will see to it. They sell soda and snacks if you get hungry, and for something more substantial visit Oskar Blue's next door. Kevin and Carol
Great place to play some old pinball machines, and the new ones. Owners are inviting and friendly. They make my daughter feel right at home. Great time
I love to come and play the Conan and Indiana Jones pinball machines with my son. Enjoyed the additional machines since that recently added more space. We'll back next payday!
One of the coolest pinball spots ever. Owner and staff are fantastic. Classic and new games in excellent condition. Worth every quarter!!!
It's always fun to go to Lyons classic pinball and play old and new games. The owners Kevin and Carole are very knowledgeable about their games and keep the games in tip top shape.
Ppl need to keep ther kids under control in here ! If you cant keep them under control DONT bring em ! Tryin ta play last night . Some guy had like 4 , year old n a 5 year old . Quite a few machines; all were in great shape. A little tight for space, and the cost was a bit higher than Loveland, Ft. Collins, and Denver. Glad pinball is back!
Lots of fun! Nice selection of machines. They were in good working order and reasonably priced.
Love all the old pinball machines and at a fair price good time
A must see if going to Colorado has every type of pinball machines. The lady there was so very friendly I bought a shirt and we'll be coming back again with my nephews
This place is super cool. I've been here a few times and have fun every time. It's like a trip back in time and the young kids have fun too. Definitely need to stop in.
I had a great time here. They have a great selection of games including some very new releases such as Black Night, Munsters and Alice Cooper?s Nightmare castle.
This place is perfect. Just remember to bring extra quarters because you'll want to keep playing!
Lyons Classic Pinball is where dreams are made. Excellent, caring staff. Clean and well maintained machines.
Always love playing pinball here. Friendly owner and amazing variety of machines. Great place to spend an evening.
Best pinball north Denver. A must stop if you're coming through. Well kept machines in a really fun environment.
This place is so great, if you LOVE Pinball! So many different great machines to play on.
Just the best pinball machines ever, in working order, under one roof. This is every vintage gamer?s pinball dream. It sounds too good to be true, but it's real.
great place for fun for the whole family. cheap games, cheap snacks, cheap drinks, and the owner is friendly and present. can definitely spend hours here!
Such a cool place! Can't wait to go back!! My favorite machines were the two KISS ones!! ?
I was awe struck from the time I entered to the time I left. I wanted to never leave. Just wish they were open more days of the week so I could go in more often.
One of the best pinball joints I've been to. Incredible game selection, cool atmosphere and great prices.
Had a great time playing here. Games are well maintained and great variety of pinball machines.
I love coming here. There are a ton of pinball classics with new games coming in. Great location and non-pretentious. A definate thumbs up.
Terrific! Many tables, all in great working order. Classic & modern games. Love Lyons Pinball.
Amazing space. Exactly what i need in my life. Nice to unwind with a pint at OB then finish the night off with some Game of Thrones pinball.
So many cool machines. If you like pinball you need to go here!
Cool selection. Interesting setup. Fun to pop in and out.
Great public location with a wide variety of we'll maintained pinball machines.
Great place for pinball. Tons of machines, some ancient and some very modern.
Mahiens are maintained to an extraorinarly level of care. One of my favorite places on earth.
Games are reasonably priced and run from classical to modern machines. Relaxed atmosphere.
Awesome place, one of the best ever! Just wish they were open more! Go there if you can.
My wife and I decided to spend a few hours here on our first anniversary. Time well spent for the moderately nerdy!
We rented this space for a private party and it was a blast. Very accommodating host and super fun environment.
Love it. The best of all the old classics. Great prices. Cheap fun!!!
It’s a mix of nostalgia and high-energy fun! Many arcades blend retro classics like Pac-Man and pinball with modern VR games, racing simulators, and rhythm challenges — often with music, lights, and a social vibe.
Both can be great! Solo visits let you focus on your favorite games, while going with friends adds competition, teamwork, and laughs. Many people plan arcade meetups as a casual hangout or even date spot.
Usually just yourself and a way to pay (some arcades still use coins, others use cards or apps). If you're competitive, bring your A-game. If you're social, bring friends or meet new ones over multiplayer games.
Weekdays or early afternoons are usually less crowded — perfect for focused play. Evenings and weekends bring the buzz, especially at barcades or venues with DJs, tournaments, or themed nights.
Absolutely! Arcades attract a mix of casual players and serious gamers. Whether you're jumping into a four-player co-op or chatting between rounds, it's a fun, low-pressure way to connect over shared interests.
Not at all. While many arcades are family-friendly, there are also adult-oriented ones with full bars, 18+ nights, or vintage nostalgia themes. Arcades today cater to everyone — from first-timers to lifelong gamers.
Yes! Many arcades host regular competitions, retro nights, cosplay parties, and more. Whether you're into high scores or just want to watch and vibe, events add an extra layer to the experience.
No worries — arcades are about having fun, not being perfect. Try a variety of games, ask others for tips, and remember: the vibe is more “let’s play” than “let’s win.”
